hi, lovebird!!! hope you're having a wonderful day 💚💚💚 and OOOOOOOOOOH i love me some henry tunes hehe!!!
kpop option first!!! this one's very lovely and acoustic, which i think fits well with henry's whole crunchy-munchy vibe lmao. the lyrics themselves are really lovely and hopeful - AKMU themselves described it as a song for the "quintessential heroes", all about conquering what feels impossible with optimism, and i feel like that very much fits the person that henry tries to be. something of an aspirational song, if you will!
ok this one also has a similar woodsy sound to it which i think henry would really appreciate! i feel like this would be the song in his head when he thinks about how much he misses mercedes - or perhaps when he first meets her pre-s1. "shall i write it in a letter? / shall i try to get it down? / oh, you fill my head with pieces / of a song i can't get out"! very tender and sweet. i'm a sucker for henry being a big ol' softie bc he just has so much love to give!!!

firstly! welcome to my asks :D !!
that is a great question with a multi layered answer.
candyland was the first board game I remember playing and I still own the edition from when I was a kid!
I played guess who "semi competitively" at summer camp during elementary school. I used to play against this one kid and we tried to guess multiple cards at once. I don't remember winning though XD
at the same summer camp I was introduced to operation. best game to play with friends! but my parents didn't like the game so I didn't play it much at home.

a picture frame in the house.
There’s cracks along the center. Luz knows this picture without it’s cracks, without the flaws from the emperor’s coven invading.
Luz bends down and picks it up, turning it over.
There. Herself, Eda, King, Camila. Hooty lazily shopped into the background. It used to be a complete picture once. Three witches, two demons, all in silly shirts, all chosen by herself.
It was Luz’s idea. It was awkward, but it was... it was hers. Her idea of family. A part of the puzzle that had helped her to carve Azura.
The cracks in the picture had shattered the image. Like little bolts of lightning, between her and Eda and her and Camila. All of them laughing, but...
Luz was now in the center of the frame. Isolated. Alone.
Her mom wasn’t at her house.
Teardrops land on the picture, and Luz rubs at her eyes. Too late. The witch drops the picture like it’s scalding hot, and it falls apart once it hits the ground. No matter. Sobs wrack her body, and she presses her arm against her face to cover it.
Her family was GONE.
And it was all because she had left.
She should’ve died with them.

I know it already made since in context but it's even sweeter now:
"A King shouldn't be without a crown," was Luz intentionaly paralleling a Good Witch Azura line, because there's no way Camila saying: "A good witch always has to have her hat," at the end of "Thanks to Them" wasn't her quoting a line she'd heard Luz (or Manny) quote a bunch of times.

Given what we see in "Edge of the World", it probably WAS graffiti, left by Titan Trappers (Slayers? if the carving are ancient enough) who didn't manage to find King's egg.

In typical Owl House fashion, you go back and suddenly little throwaway lines take on whole new meanings. This wasn't a 'you'll see when my master plan goes into effect' line, like we probably all read it; it was forewshadowing the fumking TIMELOOP.
He KNOWS that he encounters a future her in the past, and has convinced himself that, since she's human, he can talk her around eventually. You see him trying to do just that in Hollow Mind and even in King's Tide.

I thought it was cute that's Luz's new ponytail is held back by a hairband that matches Amity's hair, but I just noticed something. What if it's AMITY'S hairtie!
Lighting's different, so they read as different colors. But Amity cut her hair and noticed Luz's was growing out, so she offered her some hairties.
Maybe it's not, but hey, I can headcannon can't I?
