Just a reminder that Star Trek: Into Darkness was completely centered around Jim and Spock 's relationship and ended with Spock losing control when he lost Jim (and pointedly showing that he would have killed Khan regardless of Uhura's begging until she said they could save Jim) and Star Trek: Beyond starts off with Spock and Uhura being broken up. That is all.

An old alliance forged by the Ancient One brings an unexpected request to him, and he is duty bound to fulfill it. Along the way he meets with some pleasant surprises--and discovers that his heart is not immune to the effects of the gentlest sorts of magic.
