it genuinely makes me so sad that no wlw show will live up to mlm tv “standards” and i feel like most of us have accepted that? like i think ppl are so fucking biased and love mlm shows like heartstopper cause they’re “so cute” but criticize the fuck out of wlw shows like first kill because it’s “cheesy”. like obviously the effects could be better but that’s all ppl focus on instead of the actual plot. THIS SHOW IS CUTE AND GAY AND ALL WE WANT IS REPRESENTATION and it’s super frustrating that no one gives wlw shows a chance at all. i just want this gay little vampire show to get renewed but i’m literally expecting it not to be cause that’s what always fucking happens.

Forever is a sweetheart.'' #And then the thing that REALLY got me was when Forever talked to Chayanne and Tallulah privately #and he asked them if they / Phil needed help with their Egg tasks #(At the time their schedules weren't matching up with Phil's stream schedule so it was hard to get all their tasks done during the week) #and then Chayanne threatened Forever saying he'd kill Forever if he ever did anything weird to their family #and Forever smiled in a very fond ''that's good; this is a good kid; I'm glad he's standing up for his family'' way #And I was like ''Oh he's REALLY a sweetheart'' #His reaction after Tallulah + Bobby's death was hook line and sinker for me too #I could go on and on about Forever. 10 years ago, TV shows that were cancelled after 2, 12-to-23-episode seasons due to poor writing/production/audience reception.

Now they're cancelled despite raking in awards (from multiple organizations) for writing/production/acting/representation, have large & devoted fanbases (that are doing most of the promotion of the show), are the highest-viewed show on a network/streaming platform, only air for 6 or 8 episodes per season. And they're cancelled more than once, if not also wiped from the face of the earth.

Make it make sense.

It doesn’t even matter if I particularly cared for a show I’ll always be devastated for the fans of any show that gets cancelled. I understand that there’s financial reasons as to why a show may not be allowed to continue but at this point streaming platforms need to be asking themselves why is it that they’re cancelling all these shows? If they want a hit show it has to be given time to grow and develop its audience. And then regardless of that fact, people who have invested their time in a story deserve to see its completion. It’s so undeniably evil for corporations to continue to axe shows without warning not just for the fans of the show, but for everyone involved as well. The emotion and heart put into these pieces of media is always so visible and it’s soul crushing watching an industry throw it away. Fans and creatives deserve to see stories told with a complete arc because otherwise why are we bothering with these streaming platforms?

so soft about the chair and the lamp in bbh's cell. @v@ was deliberately cruel in creating a very small cell with nothing but a federation poster in it. it's deliberately miserable. but the cell is surrounded by the devastation of tubbo trying to break him out. but there are pepito signs and item frames and pictures on the prison walls. but the empty cell has a lamp, and a chair. but he's been inside of a small cell for eight hours, and he's been with his friends for most of that
