Or, in order to rise to the Ghost Throne, Danny has to complete a series of trials to prove he is capable of ruling (or any other reason, Danny just needs to do trials to prove himself).

The last trial, issued by Clockwork, is thus: discover the Wayne Family secret in two weeks without the use of any of his powers.

He has one shapeshift to pick a form that could endere him to the Waynes, but only one before he starts and he has to get close to the family by his own wits. Danny, after studying the family and reading of one sentence summary of each Wayne, picks the body of a six-year-old little boy that looked like a child Jason Todd.

Bruce: That child is up to something. Dick, third favorite: I don't know, Bruce; he acts like a normal kid. Jason, #1 favorite: I doubt the old man's ever met a normal kid. Tim, least favorite: Bruce is right, but can you please not talk like the villains from Chicken Run.

“Bride of Four Months Takes Life By Poison,” Ottawa Citizen. February 21, 1933. Page 2. ---- A broken hearted husband today is mourning the loss of his bride of four months, who ended her life yesterday afternoon by drinking strychnine poisoning while out driving with her husband, Stewart Keyes, 142 McGillivray street, Ottawa East.

Overcome with grief, the husband today could not be interviewed, but the young women’s father in law, C. H. Keyes, 401 Echo Drive, attributed her rash act to a nervous breakdown. The young bride, who was 27 years of age and Miss Leslie Frederick before her marriage, is survived by her husband and a sister living in another city.

Mrs. Stewart Keyes died while being rushed to the Civic Hospital in her husband’s car, Dr. J. E. Craig, coroner, this morning started an investigation into the young woman’s death and will hold an inquest on Monday evening at the police station.

Ycsterdav aftrrnonn Mr. and Mrs. Keyes were out driving together and about four o’clock Mr. Keyes rushed into a store on Bank street near Riverdale avenue and asked that a doctor be called. Dr. Angus MacDonald, 206 Belmont avenue, responded to the call and found Mrs. Keyes lying on the floor of the motor car. He instructed the husband to rush his wife to the hospital and en route the young bride passed away.

Dr. Craig was notified of the fatality and ordered the body detained at the hospital while he investigated. A small bottle containing strychnine was handed the coroner by the husband of the victim.

Arrangements for the funeral are not completed.

Dick puts everything on the line. He's the last one standing. The rest of the Titans are down. He dies making sure that they, and the world, can live.

Then he wakes up, staring at a ceiling dotted with glow in the dark stars, very confused.

There's a redheaded teenager who calls herself Jazz, who seems suspicious of him. He had parents, ghost hunters who are definitely breaking many, many laws, who love him dearly.

He has a pair of very close friends, Tucker and Sam, who also do not trust him.

There was a funeral for Dick Grayson, he looked it up. There was a corpse and everything, cremated exactly as he had demanded after learning what had happened to Jason.

Just in case it's a fluke, and he's about to be thrown out of a body that isn't his, he doesn't reach out to anyone in the hero community just yet. Instead, he decides to look into who, exactly, is Daniel Fenton, and why do his friends and sister keep looking at him like he's a spy?

Or; Danny, growing more and more powerful as a halfa, was starting to have his ghostlyness leak through to his human form. He asked Clockwork if there was a future where Jack and Maddie would ever accept him being half ghost, and Clockwork informed him that no, there was not. So Danny worked with the Yetis in the Far Frozen to make a lifeless clone of himself, with the intent to fake his death and live on in the Realms. So when Jazz came into his room, fully expecting a lifeless clone, only to find the clone not only alive but fully functional, she's suspicious.

Page 6. ---- Had Hoped Quiet Probe Might Aid in Making Arrests ---- FIFTH RECOVERS --- Poisonous Beverage Mixed With Native Wine by Bootleggers ---- (Associated Press Despatch) HAMILTON, Nov. 2 - Poison alcohol, source of which authorities are still trying to trace, caused four deaths at Hamilton General Hospital during the last two weeks and another victim recovered it was announced by Coroner Dr. J. A. Simpson last night. 

Coroner Simpson said the authorities had purposely withheld information of the deaths in the hope a quiet probe might enable police to arrest the men responsible for circulating the death-dealing beverage.

The poisonous beverage was mixed with native wine and sold in boot-legging establishments, according to Dr. Simpson. He was able to gather this information, he said, but failed to learn the identity of the vendors. It was hoped that through the "retailers," the police would be able to discover who distilled and originally supplied the alcohol.

Dr. Simpson stated three had been deaths recently from alcoholic poisoning, meaning acute alcoholism, and urged drunken prisoners be examined on their admission to the police station. 

He was presiding at an inquest Into the death of John McFarlane, who died from a fractured skull suffered while under the influence of liquor. McFarlane had been taken to the police station and placed in the cells. The next morning he died in the hospital.
