clarification: ketchup or bbq sauce on meat does not count for the purpose of this poll, nor do sweeter veg like sweet pickles, carrots or caramelized onion. i'm talking meat with fruit or honey or maple syrup or sweet glazes.

does anyone else have this thing where you can only eat certain foods in the right context? (right in the way where it makes sense for you)
for example one of my biggest texture nightmares is mushy rice. I can't eat it if it's mushy, really bad to the point where it can ruin my appetite for days
however I p much devour suman (steamed sticky rice)
another example is I can't eat pork belly with mashed potatoes or like a ~western side dish, I have to eat it with rice bc I grew up only eating it with rice. so the thought of eating it w like mashed potatoes or mac and cheese makes me ill

Hey mags, do you think a current aki would work as a chef?
yes, I love that idea!!!
I think aki really enjoys cooking and food in general, and he loves learning new recipes at home, but he wouldn't really consider making a profession out of it until you mention it to him... if you're eating dinner together and you randomly mention it, saying something like, you're really good at cooking aki, y'know, you should become a chef, then maybe he'd think about a profession like that.
I can picture him working at a fancy restaurant... or perhaps as a private chef?
