as a museum curator on a Caribbean island, Bellamy pretty much lives in a little paradise. his peaceful and quiet life gets quickly complicated, however, when strange things begin to happen around the museum and he discovers that it's all related to treasure hunt for a rumoured fortune hidden by the estate's owners.

it's a good thing that he's got the support of Clarke, an old friend whom he ran into as she came to the island on the last stop of her round-the-world trip. it wasn't hard for him to fall in love with her as if no time had passed since they last saw each other--it's a shame that she'll have to go back home soon enough.

Unfortunately prompts for @t100fic-for-blm are officially closed as of about a year ago and I’m not in a place where I can commit to them again anytime soon I actually still have a couple outstanding prompts to write that were submitted over a year ago at this point

That being said, you’re definitely welcome to share your idea with me and I can see it it’s something I’m interested in! But ultimately I can’t make any promises. The BLM prompts grew to something amazing, but it also meant that I wasn’t writing for *me* for nearly two years, so I’m trying to shift my focus back to writing what I enjoy and viewing it as a fun hobby again rather than something on my to-do list. Right now that means exploring some new ships via fic (darklina, kanej) and also shifting to dive into an original work this summer.

I hope that makes sense, and thanks for understanding! 💙

A man that paved the way for the LGBTQ+ community.

Bayard Rustin, American civil rights activist who was an adviser to Martin Luther King, Jr., and who was the main organizer of the March on Washington in 1963.

After finishing high school, Rustin held odd jobs, travelled widely, and obtained five years of university schooling at the City College of New York and other institutions without taking a degree. Rustin became a foe of racial segregation and a lifelong believer in pacifist agitation. He worked for the Fellowship of Reconciliation, a non-denominational religious organization, from 1941 to 1953, and he organized the New York branch of another reformist group, the Congress on Racial Equality, in 1941.

In 1953 Rustin, who was homosexual, was arrested in California after he was discovered having sex with a man. He served 50 days in jail and was registered as a sex offender. While his sexual orientation resulted in him taking a less public role, he was hugely influential within the civil rights movement. In the mid-1950s Rustin became a close adviser to the civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., and he was the principal organizer of King’s Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Rustin later was the chief architect of the March on Washington (August 1963), a massive demonstration to rally support for civil rights legislation that was pending in Congress. In 1964 he directed a one-day student boycott of New York City’s public schools in protest against racial imbalances in that system.

Rustin subsequently served as president of the A. Philip Randolph Institute, a civil rights organization in New York City, from 1966 to 1979. Soon thereafter he became involved in the gay rights movement.

In 2013 he was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. In 2020 Rustin was pardoned for his 1953 conviction.

When the truth about the merger and her marriage to Cage comes to light, Clarke has to decide between love her love for Bellamy and her duty to her mother.

Fairy tales have been spun for years about Arkadia, the city of gold, and its princess. The stories tell of a land where due to the greed of a king, everything and everyone was transformed into gold. The stories tell of the princess waiting for the day that her one true love will find Arkadia and rescue them.

Bellamy knows the tales of Arkadia because they were Octavia’s favourite but he never thought that it could be real. But then his ship is ripped apart by a storm and he’s sure that he’s going to die. He wakes up, very much alive, on a beach—but it’s not just any beach. The water is warm and the sand beneath his feet is pure gold. It’s blinding here with the sun bouncing off of the gold that seems to be everywhere. And then, she appears.

Clarke Griffin is a mess after the death of her father and estrangement from her mother. She decides to spite her mother by doing her surgical residency across the country in the city she grew up in, Arkadia. Her first night back in town, she has a one night stand with a random guy at a bar, only to find out the next day that he’s a fellow intern — Finn Collins.

Her first day as an intern definitely doesn’t go as planned. Her chief resident Bellamy Blake seems to hate her. The chief of surgery Marcus Kane apparently knows her mother. And Finn Collins is popping up everywhere. Surviving her residency at Arkadia Memorial may be harder than Clarke originally thought.

Ark soulmates do not have destined hearts and complimentary souls. The match percentage simply means that of all the eligible men in her age range on the Ark, Bellamy and she have the best chance at producing a genetically superior child. That’s it, that’s all. But despite this, it is magical in its own way, if it is what helps the Ark survive. Maybe their descendent will return to Earth one day and it will be because of this paper—because she is Bellamy Blake’s soulmate.

It's a shock to both Bellamy and Clarke when they're assigned soulmates, but they have no choice but to try to live with one another.

Unfortunately, if he's going to stop any of it, he'll have to sneak back into the one place in the universe that he can no longer access. The only way to do that is to get close to Clarke Griffin, a human who has no idea that one day, she'll join the ranks of the angels.
