You wouldn't think it because it's me but TJ Klunes Tales from Verania series is just like.... my favorite example of raunchy queer s/ e / x/ u / a / l comedy.

It is not high brow material whatsoever but the audiobooks are a great performance and have actually gotten a laugh out of me, if only because of how absurd the books are.

Y'know, TJ Klune is known for his romance and humor, but my man's sure does enjoy his gore. He's also not afraid of a good tragic backstory. I would like to see him try a horror or horror-esque book in the future, I wonder how he'd do

#I've only read a few of his books so far but I've noticed some things #green creek series was really bloody. and had some truly chilling body horror in the third book #and I'm reading Tales from Verania right now and theres some bloody bits. not true gore yet but i wouldn't be surprised if it happens #and ALL of them plus Cerulean Sea have characters with wellbuilt and mostly believable tragic backstories. like some of them seriously hurt #so what im saying is i want him to try a Gone (by Michael Grant)-like book. i think he'd do a good job #tj klune #green creek series #tales from verania #house in the cerulean sea #littiescorp rambles

I had plans to read other things but after In the Lives of Puppets all I want is more TJ Klune. So I'm going to venture in to The Tales of Verania series. It's obvious that series is a lot less deep than the books of his I've loved but hopefully it's a good time.
