As expected, Feli's kidneys are starting to fail. There's not a whole lot to be done, but she got a light infusion and some medication against the nausea. Sis is preparing some raw food for her, as she might like that better than the wet foods. We'll have to monitor her and book appointments as needed.

Bats got a different ointment for his toe, and eye drops for a light conjunctivitis, all to be given for a week. Vet also shaved his toe, which looks pretty funny. If the toe isn't getting better after that week they want to x-ray it (with the smaller dentist tools vs. the large machine because his toes are such teeny tiny things), because it's not clear if he nibbles at it because it's itching or because it's hurting. The poor thing was so excited at first when I put his walking harness on him 🥲 and when he realized we're going to the vet instead of a nice walk with mom herself the disappointment was real. I felt so bad for him 😅 At least he got to go on a small adventure with me, and he was happy enough about the treats involved hehe.

This evening I also gave Sammy a normal sized meal all at once for the first time since his surgery, and while there was some noticeable gurgling and farting his last poop of the day was nice and firm. So the splitting and spacing of the meals may actually have contributed to the soft poop? I'm curious to see if that's actually true or if it's something else, after all. Tomorrow will hopefully know more. That said, I also got his new muzzle (or so I thought), buuuut they sent the wrong size, so I still have to wait longer. Vet kinda agreed to my apprehension of letting him go on walks as long as he bitches about the muzzle. So far he's only in the yard, but even here it's on leash and tight supervision only. Muzzle first, then he gets his freedom back. 😓 (if only he would understand the reasons... )

playing.. . ❍ stay stay stay by taylor swift

pathetic, oh he was.

walking across the hallway while adjusting his tie, jaehyuk abruptly stops and takes a small step back to stare at your empty room, as you habitually left your door open earlier this morning when you left for work. now, normally you and jaehyuk would leave together but due to the big conflict both of you had last night plus the unbearable silent treatment, you decided to go early in the morning without him.

the cause of the problem was not the biggest and the most serious, but since you were both really stressed and worked up yesterday, both of you ended up throwing unnecessary things to the argument, making it intolerable.

the moment you woke up earlier this morning, you had regretted everything you've said. you felt bad knowing that you've told jaehyuk things you never meant and that he most probably took them in to his heart. but you were still wishing that you'll be able to make up sooner, as you didn't like seeing him blue, especially if the reason behind it, was you. meanwhile jaehyuk felt the same way too. though he was mainly blaming himself for the fuss. he started it and it was for the best if he was to apologize first.

sighing, he closes your door and proceeds to go back to the living room to pick up his bag before closing the lights and leaving your place.

as your apartment was just a walking distance to his workplace, jaehyuk decides to not take any transport and well, walk there. and as he was strolling pass by all different buildings a certain bouquet of flower catches his eye from outside of a flower shop.

and a possibly great idea pops up in his mind.

“hey, y/n isn't that jaehyuk? your boyfriend?” one of your co-worker friends points at the exit door and you whip your head to the side to see that it was indeed, jaehyuk behind the glass door.

you sort of panic inside about his sudden appearance at your workplace. and to add more intensity to that, you notice that jaehyuk was holding a bouquet of lilies. you purse your lips together, swallowing your water aggressively, and putting your mask on again.

you were not about to let this be a big deal.

“uhM, you know guys I need to go I have to babysit my cousin, I guess Ill see you tomorrow!” you cringe realizing how bad that was for a lie and they most probably wont even fall for it because it was just that awful. also even that wouldn't be enough to convince a child.

but as you brush those criticizing thoughts off, you continue to walk. saying goodbye to security guard to show respect, you finally reach your destination, yoon jaehyuk, who you could see the smile of even if he was wearing his mask. “suprise!?” he says with an unsure tone, which by the way you could barely even hear him. you giggle finding this kinda awkward situation hilarious.

though he was trying his best, so there was really no reason to get angry. “lilies? really jaehyuk? you couldn't be more obvious?” you tease as you take the bouquet from his arms and he chuckles softly, feeling a tiny bit flustered.

how precious.

“too bad I can't smell them right now.” you say as you continue to stare at the flowers so fondly. “maybe that's better, since- I don't want to spoil anything but there's more suprises later back at home”

“your kidding, right?”

“nope, not at all. its the things I do for love.”

“damn, now I really do have to forgive you.”

“that's right- wait what?!”

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘: this has been sitting on my lovely drafts for a couple of days now and I finally finished it ㅠㅠ. ngl I struggled a bit since halfway I decided to make a doyoung fanfic- but lets not talk about my poor decision making skills hahahaa 😌😓 MOVING ON, I hope everybody liked it.
