All the Arlecchino crumbs recently brought to mind an old idea of mine!

Just imagine papanella telling you that his coworkers are off limits, for your own safety of course.

But...who can help it when The 4th Harbinger, The Knave, comes along and practically sweeps you off your feet? Some sneaking around that cannot last long, because of papanella's info network, so you have to settle for fleeting moments that Arlecchino steals by sneaking into your room in papanella's estate.

Arlecchino cannot help but lure you into a wing of the palace on her rare stints back in Snezhnaya and crowding you against the wall to look down at you with her dark eyes...

She just can't help how her lips lower to yours in a moment of passion while a few fatui agents pass by, but they would never dare look twice...let alone say anything to a soul.

Papanella would eventually find out and...oh his fury and worry would cause quite the stir amongst the other Harbingers. So much so that, during one of their banquets, Childe brings up how he saw you writing a letter and how you seemed rather dazed while sliding it away into a drawer.

Childe doesn't exactly like Arlecchino, so he worries for your safety with one of the most unstable Harbingers.

That starts an argument with Capitano observing, he had been the one you confided in after all...

I am rambling but this idea is genuinely stuck in my brain!

Oh. OH. OH OH OH- I'M DISINTEGRATING. Papanella knows very well how... eccentric his co-workers can be and some of the malicious activities they're a part of, so he always resolves to keep you far away from them! He can't risk you getting caught in between one of them, who knows what these kinds of characters will have you doing? Too bad his words are falling on deaf ears the moment you caught eyes with Arlecchino :) The two of you sneaking off for some alone time 🤭 You two may only have a few moments before someone realizes both of you are gone but that only makes it feel all the more better. It's not that long but the way Arlecchino kisses you with such passion and possessiveness makes you feel like she's been here the whole time. You definitely make excuses to Papanella as to why you need to go to the orphanage every week...

Oh but i can't imagine the scolding you'd get from Papanella 😓 Childe ily but don't snitch on reader like that, Arlecchino treats you very well 😤 Arlecchino herself probably just straight up ignores his accusations and doesn't care though. Capitano, while a bit wary of her, just wants you to be happy. It'll take a while but Papanella come around and accept the Knave as your partner (eventually)

aaa.. i really love your fics. i havent read them all yet but im in love with your The Last Song, especially In Another Life. TLS broke my heart into pieces (the last chapter), i wont lie that i didnt read it in full (i cry easily at puppy videos, im not sure i can handle Eren dying. especially that version of him). nonetheless i will apply what Eren said in IAL, the series has been a great experience for me. not only because Eren was literally written ineffably, but because i really learned a lot and i was able to relate so much.

im still having a hard time accepting the whole death talk in general, because (i feel like such a loser hahaha, but im happy because—-) i love him so much, but i should try and learn (note:try). and apply.

i just want to say.. thank you. and i dont know how to make that sound like i mean it (i tried formatting after much thought, hopefully its not cringey). its so hard for me to express it in words how grateful i am sometimes, but i really do mean it. maybe its because its probably just one thank yous that you get out of probably hundreds a day—- i think youre an amazing writer.

Let's see... I think my two favorite standalone fics to date (that are completed and posted at least) are Treading Water and Fugacious. Both happen to be pieces I wrote for fan events, so maybe those bring something special out of me?

I've talked many times about Treading Water. It's near and dear to my heart because of how many things about it felt experimental — the imagery/water metaphor, my own take on Aryll, using NPCs more, the getting to know someone through traces and impressions (which was the prompt!). It was fun to just follow Revali along from scene to scene as his pride thawed little by little, and everything fell into place so neatly it was almost scary 😅 I remember liveblogging as the word count increased because I simply couldn't believe it! It's still my longest work to date, and while to many 14k is nothing, to me it still is a huge accomplishment. That Aryll lives in my head rent-free with a story of her own, I love her so much.

Now Fugacious... I'll admit, when I saw that my giftee for the Revalink Secret Santa was @ghirahimbo I was a little scared. Steph is a phenomenal fanfic writer, one of the best I've encountered across fandoms, and she single-handedly got me into the ship (and into writing again!), so I wanted to write something to thank her for that. I'd been dying to explore Satori Mountain and its Lord so I figured going with something I truly wanted to write was my best bet! But I didn't really have a plan so I picked the route for the roadtrip and traveled it in-game, taking notes on landmarks and fun tidbits I could use. The problem was I found too many interesting things, so I had to axe a good chunk of them 😭 (RIP to the scene I had planned in Rutile Lake with Link swimming and splashing Revali to tease him). All in all it was a very fun fic to write.

Now, since the ask specifies edits as well and I'm a proud video editor, I'm gonna talk about my favorite MMV! I think we can all agree my best is Mirrors (with Rising Tide as a valiant second best), but today I wanna talk about Crossed Threads.

This fucking video is a testament to my perseverance and love for my wife. It took me four years to complete. Four years. I almost dropped the project it was too much work — I was getting frustrated, my editing skills had morphed and I didn't have the energy to redo old parts, Sony Vegas gave me the middle finger constantly, and there was so much masking. But I pushed through. I told myself over and over it doesn't have to be perfect, just get it done. And I did and I'm fucking proud of it 💪

I was also glad to give some food to the kyomami crew, since this ship is so criminally underrated. 5. go on a six hour road trip with (no car radio, you choose who drives), sit next to on a six hour plane flight, sit across from on a six hour train journey

go on a six hour road trip with Kai, he has this 'you chauffeur, peasant' vibe so I would drive which is perfect because my whole agenda is to get us into potentially dangerous situations to get that adrenaline high and make him fall in love with me lol. But for real, going on a road trip together without distractions would surely be a good opportunity to talk a lot and form or deepen the bond, he could also finally relax a bit because he can’t run off to work on anything, maybe he ends up enjoying it a lot more than he thought he would. The only problem would be the gas station toilets…he doesn’t enjoy that part.

sit next to on a six hour plane flight with Dabi, oh this one…I was going to pick Kai for this because 1. I only trust him to not get us kicked out before the plane takes off and 2.not crash the plane once we are up in the air but……trusting Dabi wouldn’t do anything drastic a plane flight is a perfect setting for me to get into his face the second the wheels are not touching the ground and ask everything I ever wanted to know. I don’t understand him but I really want to. "So…what’s your deal 🧍🏻‍♀️" Dabi groans. He can’t escape me there. By the end of it we are either had a blood pact,a tearful hug,and promised to be the god mother and father to each others unborn children or we are getting into a fistfight in the airport parking lot, no in between.

sit across from on a six hour train journey with Jin, train rides may be a little too quiet for him to enjoy but this whole experience largely depends on where are we going, what kind of train are we on? But even for a fancy non smoking train we would surely go smoke in an empty corridor with one window open. We are cool and bad after all whoa. We can’t talk like that because the train is too loud but it is still nice. There is that small intimate moment when he lights my cigarette which I am perfectly normal about. I can see spending the time with him telling each other stories about our lives, showing each other music or videos, making dumb pictures with filters on,sharing some heavy stuff with each other then platonically kicking each other’s feet under the table like two unattended 1st graders. At one point I would fall asleep with my mouth open and he would take a picture of me, once I wake up I will make him regret it. 6 hrs is a long ride and we eventually run out of cigarettes,there’s only one left but no one wants to take it for themselves so we share. That’s an indirect kiss Jin uh oh what you gonna do, it’s finally your time to get flustered. I’m living my best life with this goofy mf.
