The Bad Batch: What's left from the short trailer/TV spot?
Continuing on from my post about The Bad Batch trailer, here's the shots from the short trailer/TV spot that haven't appeared in season 3 of The Bad Batch yet, as of episode 6 and 7.
The Marauder flying towards a rather derelict looking space station, which feels kind of familiar. Did this space station appear in The Clone Wars?
Rip The Marauder. Pretty sure that's Wrecker and Gonky getting flung away from the explosion.
A ship being pursued by TIE fighters. These clouds appear later on in the trailer/tv spot as well.
This shot of Hunter and Crosshair(?), which @probadbatch pointed out in this post looks like a Venator over Pabu.
This shot of Omega where she says the line "I need to know what I am."
The next series of shots seem to be connected and include Hunter piloting a shuttle that detaches from the underside of a ship and flies off into the clouds that appeared in an earlier shot, while pursued by what look like TIE fighters. I can't tell if Hunter is in a black version of his armour or if the lighting is just really dark and desaturated. It's his armour. It's got all the scuff marks and what looks like 3 claw marks on the top right of his chest plate. It's just all really dark and almost all black. Did he repaint it? Also, is someone sitting behind him in the shuttle? The glowing upside down Y in the bottom center of the first frame sort of looks like a visor.
There's not as much left to come from this short trailer/tv spot, but it also didn't introduce a lot of new footage either. I am rather intruiged as to what is going on with Hunter's black armour.
I think there's also an Instagram Reel or TikTok out there that has a few seconds of new footage of Phee and the mysterious clone assassin but I can't find them so if anyone has a link to them please feel free to add it in a reblog.

On The Bad Batch's Final Season
Ok, ok, I am aware this sounds like a massive dose of copium but hear me out.
I've been prepared from the start for The Bad Batch to have a tragic ending. How could it not? We know what comes next. We know the Empire prospers. We know that Rex, Gregor and Wolffe end up alone, having given up the fight.
But just look at that release schedule:
Not a peep of promo since the strike ended and all of sudden we're premiering within a month? With a three episode premier? And two extra multi-episode drops? And the series finale airs on May 1st?
It sure seems like they're determined to get the series concluded by May the 4th, doesn't it?
Now look at the episode titles:
The Cavalry Has Arrived. That's an odd name for a series finale. There isn't exactly a sense of...finality to it. Compare it to the series finales of TCW and Rebels: 'Victory and Death'. 'Family Reunion and Farewell'. 'The Cavalry Has Arrived'.
I'm telling you, they're gearing up for a May the 4th announcement of something, and that something will be directly related to the Bad Batch's fate.
I have no idea what it will be. A new series? A movie? Something else entirely?
Now obviously, even if this is true it doesn't mean we won't get a hefty dose of tragedy. I still expect a number of my favourite characters to die. But a number of my favourite characters survived The Clone Wars, and that ending was bleak. This time, it's starting to feel like they're gearing up for something hopeful. Like maybe (just maybe) this won't be the last time we get to watch the clones fighting the good fight.

TBB S3 Trailer Screencaps to Analyze
Go to town, peeps. ;)
Who's in the top left? Wrecker? And who's he carrying?
There's speculation that this is imperial Tech but it also might just be another "Clone X" specimen? Same as this guy below?
Is Crosshair's armor white or is that just a glare of sorts?
Do you see Omega (middle) and Crosshair (right) in their Tantiss suits?!
Where is this?
What's this, what's she programming?
This scene (where Hunter's getting eaten, no thank you!!) has similar fog coloring to this scene below (damn you writers)
Have fun! ;)

The Bad Batch: What's left from the trailer?
I wondered this earlier and then fell into a haze of going frame by frame through the trailer and screenshotting what I think hasn't appeared in season 3 of The Bad Batch so far, as of episode 6 and 7.
All of the shots to do with this scene of Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair escaping in the big truck thing (juggernaut?) and Phee flying in to save them.
Coruscant! Whose ship is that?
The Empire and the mystery clone assassin invading Pabu, which @gamelpar pointed out in this post.
Someone's hand pushing a handle forwards. Whose gauntlet is this?
More of the Empire and the mystery clone assassin on Pabu. Is this Tech. Or Cody? Either way, more pain 😭
Hunter pushing a handle down.
More of Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair escaping from the same scene at the start of the trailer.
There's a number of shots that I'm pretty sure we've seen, like this one. I think this was in episode one?
A very fast and blurry shot of what looks like a LAAT/i flying down in a tight spiral over a large body of water.
Fennec looking all badass in a bar somewhere.
Cad Bane and his hat.
This shot where Wrecker says the line "Give us a real challenge." The bridge structure in the holo in the bottom left looks similar to the bridge Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair drive over in the big truck thing when they're escaping in the shots from the start of the trailer. My guess is that this is a briefing about that mission.
Hunter being eaten by a space crocodile and Wrecker jumping in after him. What's interesting about this is that Fennec is there. She's on the boat in the bottom left of the second frame. That's a very distinctive helmet and coat.
That's the clone assassin's ship. I think we just saw this during episode 6?
Hunter squaring up to fight someone.
Wrecker also squaring up to fight someone.
This shot of Crosshair (or at least his Firepuncher), Hunter and Wrecker where Hunter says the line "We're not big on following orders."
Hunter leaping onto a LAAT/i and yeeting a stormtrooper out by his ankle.
Ventress! She's being shot at by blue blaster bolts here. Who's shooting those?
This shot that pans across Hunter and Wrecker aiming at someone, though they both lower their blasters slightly.
I find all this stuff rather interesting because there's so much going on in trailers and there are so many decisions being made. Disney has a habit of mainly including footage from the first half of a series in their trailers, which makes me wonder how soon we're going to see all of these shots.
It's also a good idea to take trailers with a large grain of salt as they're often full of misdirects and footage or audio that doesn't even appear in the show. This was really obvious in the Rogue One trailers but TBB trailer has done it already as well. @icantlivewithoutdreaming correctly pointed out in this post that Rex says "not with the Empire imprisoning the kid" at 0:35 in the trailer but the line he actually says in episode 7 is "Not with the Empire being after the kid." There's also shots that are flipped, like the one of Hunter and Wrecker at 0:52 where Hunter's tattoo is on the wrong side of his face, and the hero shot of Rex at 1:22, which was at the end of episode 7 when he's staring down Wolffe.
I've hit the max number of images in a post so I'll put a link my post about the short trailer/TV spot here when it's done. Edit: Here's the link to my post on the shots from the short trailer/TV spot that haven't appeared in TBB yet.
