hold on i need to get a thought and emotions out. so with Welcome Home, there seems to be a before and an after. obviously, we're in the after. the website is the after. and if it turns out that the story we see, the one where shit hits the fan and the show is practically erased, then... that already happened. whatever horrors we see, we'll know that there is no saving them. there is no happy ending - it happened, and it's tragic. the show is doomed to end and be scrubbed away. if any of the characters are revealed to be dead/gone by the website, then when/if we see them at an earlier point, we'll Know

and there's a special kind of dread and horror in that for us, the audience.

Sometimes I’m hit by the devastating fact that my childhood is leaving. It’s slipping away but I’ve still got half a foot in it. I’ll never be twelve again. I can barely remember a moment of fourth grade, but I know what it felt like. We once spent a month making a trip poster on the hallway floor. I haven’t talked to you in four years. I tutor people in Calculus. I just learned long division. I buy plushies with money I earned at work. I still sleep with the same stuffed animal my grandma got me. Maybe when I wake up, my mom will be waiting to braid my hair, because I don’t know how to yet. My dog will be small enough to fit under the fence. We’ll play tag at recess. They’ll bring the laptop cart for English. I’ll be twelve again.

I think the most important thing that I forgot to preface when I made this account (I should prolly make a pinned post to include this in), I pretty much never stick to one thing and jump between interests all the time!

I suppose making blogs dedicated to different things is the most normal thing to do but I don't really feel like doing that honestly (I might however make a blog just for reblogs though).

It's been a longass time, but I had to bring it back to be the lovable scamp with your friendly reminder 🥰 (or not-so-friendly reveal 😈) that Reade and Tash, with what is surely zero musical foreshadowing AT ALL, start out the season by Doing The Do to the same music that Jane killed Oscar to - a track from the season 1 OST aptly titled "See You on the Other Side". (Weller and Jane reunite to a snippet of the same song in this episode too, tbf).

I'll undoubtedly be tagrambling or keysmashing for this and a few other remaining episodes about Gifsets I Can Hear. The fact this season's soundtrack was never released annoys me more than any other apart from 3x01 and 3x22, because Sherri Chung gave us a bunch of funky little bops and grooves all over season 5. Helpfully, a fellow fan stripped a few highlights (incl. times square and reade's funeral) from this episode and did a better job editing around the unstrippable sfx than i could do! :D thank you op, wherever you are 💕

So I got gifted Tomb Raider I-III Remastered this Valentine's Day.

I just booted up the game, accepted the dodgy mid 90s graphics EULA...

And now I'm sitting in the main menu and it looks just like the DOS version I played when I was like... 7 years old, only better, and the music sounds exactly the same and it's been an exhausting two weeks and... I'm just about to cry.

These games were my childhood. Now I get them again, in better graphics... with NG+... AND achievements... AND all the DLCs???

Yeah, I think I'll just start crying.
