So I finally decided to participate in the event! Congratulations on the milestone ❤. Can I have couple headcanons for me and Caesar and Joseph? Or me and Jonathan and Speedwagon? Extra details you might find nice is that I love to take care of my f/os.. I like to feed them, give them everything for a shower, praise them and pet them and kiss them, clean after them, and put them to bed and cuddle them to sleep... Just something I thought I'd mention about my tastes 🙏 || Polynon
Thank you so much <3 Of course! --- Couple Headcanons✨ You x Caesar x Joseph  -Joseph got seriously lucky when it came to you. He’s super lazy and Erina has always scolded him for this ( heck, even Caesar scolds him for this sometimes too) but you don’t mind cleaning up after him or taking care of him at all. Sometimes even Caesar tries to tell you that it’s OK to step back and let Joseph do things on his own sometimes, but you insist you want to take care of him ( and of course Caesar too). Caesar often tries to help you out though, he doesn’t want you to have to do everything all the time!  -Aah, still thinking about the love note you sent for Caesar’s birthday and thinking of the three of you becoming a family. I’m really soft for Caesar and Joseph doting over you. Caesar treating you super delicately as soon as he finds out you’re pregnant ( meanwhile it taking awhile for it to click for Joseph. He still wants to do the usual activities but Caesar cuts in like ‘Wait, let Arty rest. You know you’ve gotta take things easy during a pregnancy!’). You find it adorable the two different styles of caring your partners have, but of course you know they both adore you and care for you in their own ways! :P  You x Jonathan x Speedwagon - I’d really like to reiterate how protective of you Jonathan and Speedwagon are. I’m sure that if anyone tries to bother you they’d both be protective of you in their own way. I know it was mentioned before, but Speedwagon would be much more aggressive when it comes to protecting you. Of course he’s soft with you always, but he’s going to definitely going to give anyone who tries to upset you a hard time! As for Jonathan, his approach is much different as he always tries to talk things out before trying to fight with anyone. Although of course he wouldn’t hesitate to fight someone for you if he had to. -They don’t mind being taken care of by you. Imagine them just sitting on the floor in front of you ( Jonathan probably needing to crouch down a little more even when sitting because he’s so tall) and you just brushing Jonathan and Speedwagon’s hair. So soft so cute. They adore this kind of attention from you! ; v ;
For both of your ships -They all consider themselves to be extremely lucky to be loved by you! Seriously, you take such good care of your partners it’s still hard for them to believe sometimes that you’re theirs!

Linked - Part 10 (E.D.)
Masterlist
The rest of the week leading up to the Hailette ball, Ethan did his best to treat Anna like royalty. He took the week off from going into the office - doing most of his work at home to spend as much time with his wife as possible. Anna was enjoying the company - each meal was spent with Ethan just talking. After he had spilled his feelings on Hailette to her, Anna had been warming up to the idea of telling him how she truly felt - but not quite yet. Ethan had a lot to lose if Anna were to ever expose him, but Anna was risking way more. She would be killed if she were charged with treason - what would happen to Ethan was unknown, but it wouldn’t be pretty.
Ethan could tell Anna was on the edge of her seat about to speak every time he criticized Hailette. The most recent reason he was irritated with the city was the new rules dealing with the ball. They were requesting so much money from Dolan Industries - way more than any other year - and he had no idea why. On top of that, the theme was an all-white ball meaning Jonathan’s options for Anna were few and far between.
It was tradition to keep the wives’ dresses for the ball a secret until the night of. Ethan didn’t really care about the rule, but he did think it’d be pretty fun to see how gorgeous she looked walking down the stairs. For Anna, she was exceptionally excited - wives weren’t allowed to wear makeup, but for this ball, they were allowed to choose any type of dress. There was no requirement for this to be a formal ball gown, so Jonathan went all out.
The first dress was immediately the favorite - body fitting and sparkly with a deep cut neckline. The straps were thin, and a cut ran straight up the leg - the pair of silver heels matched perfectly. Jonathan helped Anna style her hair, the top pulled back with the rest flowing freely.
“If you’re not the hottest wife there, I’ll riot.” Jonathan joked, helping her zip up her dress with a small smile on his face. “Come down the stairs when you’re ready.”
-
“Holy shit.” Ethan breathed as Anna carefully walked down the stairs with her dress hitched up. Her eyes lit up softly as Ethan’s jaw went slack, eyes widening. “You… are stunning.” He shook his head in disbelief again; in awe that he got so lucky.
Anna felt her cheeks heat up as Ethan pulled her in for a kiss, his hands held tightly on her lower back. “Thank you.” As he pulled back to admire her again, she bit her lip. “You look great too.”
-
A short limo ride later with Ethan’s hand gripping Anna’s thigh tightly; he wanted to get her in bed so badly, but there was an entire night ahead of them. Honestly, he wasn’t sure if she’d even let him touch her again, but that didn’t change the fact that he wanted to. Grayson and Kennedy were in the car ahead of them, both couples prepared to be photographed intensely. The Hailette ball was THE event of the year and many Hailette families loved flipping through photographs of all the beautiful families.
The couple stepped out of their car, a few feet behind Grayson and Kennedy on the red carpet. Anna was overwhelmed - she had never seen anything like this in her entire life. The ball was held at the Hailette courthouse - a big beautiful white building with roman beams leading inside. What felt like hundreds of cameras flashing and screaming at Ethan were going off and she was grateful for his tight grip around her waist. Ethan took a moment to look down at his wife who looked a bit taken aback, but beautiful.
“Smile, love.” He whispered in her ear, the action eliciting a howl from one of the photographers.
Anna giggled and nodded, tightening her arm around Ethan’s back and standing up straight, a wide smile on her face as they moved inside.
“So great to see you!” Kennedy gushed as they gathered in the foyer - awaiting their escort to the tables. Usually, Hailette elite no longer came to these events when all the children in their homes were off and married. The Dolan family was one of the few exceptions and Anna was nervous to see her in-laws for the first time since the wedding.
“You too.” She smiled, leaning into the peppy girl’s hug and shooting Grayson a polite smile as he spoke calmly to his brother. She wondered if Ethan had addressed Kennedy’s comment with Grayson, but she most definitely was not going to ask right now.
Soon enough, they were being shown to their table where the eldest Dolan couple was waiting for them. Mrs.Dolan was wearing a beautiful long sleeved gown - Kennedy’s dress was quite modest as well and Anna felt a bit out of place.
“Ah, beautiful girls.” Mrs. Dolan beamed, pulling each of them into a hug separately. “So lovely to see you all.”
-
It wasn’t long before the first course was brought out - a rich soup full of vegetables that Anna wished she had more of. With each course, the men at the table got a new drink - it seemed all of the Dolan men liked bourbon.
The second course was a caesar salad - a small portion, but good nonetheless. Between each course, there was a speaker up on stage nearly preaching about how amazing Hailette was. Ethan couldn’t help but reach a hand under the table to grip Anna’s thigh - letting her know he was internally rolling his eyes.
“Oh, wow.” Anna breathed as the main course was brought out - a full plate of crab legs for each couple to share, each had their own steak paired with a large baked potato and a plate of scallops.
“Someone will be round to crack these open for us; start with your steak.” He muttered to her quietly, avoiding drawing his mother’s attention who would surely stick her nose up if she were to eat in the wrong order.
Anna held in her moan as the tender, buttery steak hit her taste buds - she was sure it was the best thing she’d ever tasted. Until she ate a scallop and her mind exploded all over again. She couldn’t believe she had been lucky enough to marry into a family who got to eat like this often.
After an amazing dessert of creme brulee and chess pie, the pair left the dining hall for the ballroom. Ethan had never attended the ball as a married man and he was a bit on edge as he usually would spend his time in the ballroom flirting with bartenders or cocktail waitresses. Mr. Dolan clapped his sons on the back as he and his wife decided it was time for them to head home - the ballroom was not the place for older couples.
“My love, would you dance with me?” Grayson’s voice rang out over the loud music playing and the shuffle of the other couples dancing on the floor.
Kennedy’s face made it seem like he had asked her to marry him all over again, slipping her hand in his with a loud giggle and an excited nod.
“Sorry I’m not that cheesy, but wanna dance?” Ethan quipped, raising an eyebrow with a smirk on his face. It was no secret that every girl in Hailette was given ball room dancing lessons - so were the boys, but it had been twelve years since Ethan’s last class.
“Of course.” Anna laughed, taking his hand as he pulled her onto the dance floor. As Ethan rested one arm on her lower back, the other holding her hand up gently in the air, it felt like the rest of the room disappeared. The pair looked into each other’s eyes intently - small playful smiles on their faces as the twirled around, careful not to bump into anyone else. The music playing reminded Anna of her childhood and she felt like she was in a dream.
Ethan dropped her hand momentarily to dip her, his face crinkling as he laughed at her surprised face. As he stood her up right and returned to their comfortable stance, he opened his mouth against her ear. “You are the most stunning woman in this city, Anna.” Quickly pressing a kiss to her temple.
“And you are the most handsome man.” She smiled up at him, squeezing his shoulder with her dainty hand.
A few dances later and Anna was exhausted, grateful that the night was nearly coming to an end. All that was left was cocktail hour and they were able to sit down for that. Ethan found a table with his brother and another friend of theirs as Anna went to the ladies’ room. She found unzipping her gown and getting up by herself to be the most challenging task of the evening and she was regretting not asking Kennedy to join her.
“Need some help?” A redhead in a short black dress raised her eyebrow from the other sink - clearly a worker here, but Anna didn’t mind.
“Please?” She smiled at the woman, taking a moment to look her up and down in the mirror as she zipped her up. The dark makeup around her eyes made Anna jealous - how lovely it must be to express yourself with art on your own face.
“You’re Ethan Dolan’s wife aren’t you?” The woman had turned now, propping herself up on the bathroom counter with a playful smirk.
Anna furrowed her brows together, wondering how on earth a lower class worker would know who she was. “Yes…?”
“Thought so.” Nodding and pushing herself off the counter, she headed towards the door but not before turning around to shoot Anna the dirtiest glare she’d ever received. “Tell your sweet husband if he wants your pretty little head to stay on your body, he better come fuck the shit out of me again.”
A small gasp left Anna’s mouth as she tried to piece together what this stranger was saying to her. Was this someone Ethan had slept with before getting married? Why was she threatening violence? Was this woman to be trusted?
“I see you’re having a hard time, so I’ll explain it for you.” The redhead rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest to show her cleavage. “Your husband fucked me - about a month after the two of you got married. I need some...money… so I took up the offer of filming it. Everyone knows why a newly married man comes looking for a lower class tramp to fuck; and everyone will know if that footage gets released.”
“Wha- why are you doing this?” Anna whimpered, still trying to clear the fog from her mind.
“Us lower class scum will do anything for money, sweet little girl.” The redhead rolled her eyes again. “But - that dick was so good, I’ll make sure that video is destroyed if he keeps fucking me.” She winked as she pushed the door open, looking back one last time. “Let him know for me, will ya?”
With that, she was gone - leaving Anna in a mess alone in the ladies’ restroom. Ethan was starting to worry - she’d been gone nearly fifteen minutes now so he stood outside the women’s restroom with his arms folded across his chest. As the door creaked open, he lifted his head expecting to see his beautiful wife, but instead he got an eyeful of a very familiar redhead. He felt his face pale as she glared at him, her lip curling as she slid past him.
“Shit, shit, shit.” Ethan muttered, his palms sweating as Anna finally came out of the bathroom. Her eyes were glossy, cheeks red, but she approached him casually, slipping her body into his arms. With confusion on his face, he held her close as she draped her arms around her neck and leaned up to whisper into his ear.
“Make up a reason for us to go - don’t look upset.” Keeping her voice soft, she grazed her nails over the back of his neck before pulling away and slipping her hand into his.
Ethan was lost as to why she wasn’t screaming at him right now, but he trusted her. The pair found Grayson quickly, Ethan leaning into him to let him know they were going to head home because Anna’s head was hurting. The lie was believable and soon, they were quickly walking out of the building and sliding into their awaiting lemo.
“Are you going to speak to me now?” His voice was quiet as his eyes glanced towards their driver. Anna just shook her head softly, seeing the driver glance back at the pair. The last thing she wanted was for anyone to overhear their conversation.
As furious and confused as she was, showing that around hundreds of important Hailette people could be disastrous.
-
The door slamming preceded Anna whipping around to face her husband who stood with his back against the door, ready to take whatever she was about to give him.
“You cheated on me.” Her voice was loud and angry - such a stark contrast to her usual calm demeanor. She was terrified for her life and Ethan’s, but right now all she wanted was to be mad at her husband.
Ethan let out a shaky sigh and shut his eyes tightly; a year ago, he would have denied the claim, but he knew the seriousness of the situation. “I’m sorry.” He watched as her cheeks tinted red and her brows furrowed together. “Anna, I’m - it was before -” Ethan fumbled over his words as he watched her eyes well up with tears, he truly didn’t know what to say as he knew his actions were inexcusable. “It was the night when I was drunk and yelled at you and got mad… and I made a mistake.”
Anna let the tears fall freely down her cheeks, a bit irritated that she couldn’t keep her fierce demeanor up. Honestly, there wasn’t much she could do here. If a Hailette wife made any notion that she wanted to divorce her husband, she would be sent straight to the lower class portion of Hailette with no money. Inevitably, most women in this position would end up homeless - if they were so lucky. In this case, the couple would most likely be investigated and it would be discovered they had not consummated their marriage and that was why Ethan had cheated.
“Right now, I don’t forgive you.” She breathed, steadying herself by running a hand through her hair. “But there’s more we have to deal with, Ethan.” Extending her hand to him, he took it graciously, eyes following her body as she led him up to their bedroom. “Whoever that girl was claims she has a video of… your night together.”
“What?” He furrowed his brows, jaw clenching as Anna slid her heels off near her closet. “A v-video?”
“Yes, Ethan. Either she or someone who does not like you is offering her a lot of money if she gives them that video.” Making quick work of the zipper on her tight dress she let out a shaky sigh. “Unless you go back there and sleep with her again - presumably often.”
“I’m not doing that.” Ethan shook his head fiercely. “I know I fucked up - I’m not doing that to you again.” His voice was firm and steady. “We don’t even know if she’s telling the truth.”
“What if she is, Ethan?” Anna was standing in her underwear now, fists clenched at her sides. “Do you know what would happen to me? I know you’re important here, but if that video comes out you and I both know there’s no protecting you.”
“Fuck!” He screamed, running a hand through his hair angrily. “I’m calling Gray-”
“No you are not.” Gripping his hand as he reached for his phone, Anna shook her head. “We can’t trust anyone right now.”
As badly as Ethan wanted to tell her she was wrong, he knew she wasn’t. He would never think his brother would put him in a dangerous position, but they were no longer the most important people in each other’s lives. It took him maybe thirty seconds to make the decision that would change their lives forever. “We’re leaving.”
“Wh-what?” She gasped, eyes hurriedly raking over her husband as she watched his plans flash across his face. A million thoughts raced through her mind as she watched Ethan flying around the room throwing things into a suitcase. “What are you doing?”
“Anna, we’re leaving.” He spoke firmly again, sliding his hidden laptop out from under the bed and putting it into his suitcase. Watching Anna stand frozen as he haphazardly threw clothing and important things into his suitcase was making him angry. “Anna - please.”
“Okay, okay.” She nodded, gulping as she found her suitcase from the honeymoon and started filling it up. After putting some nightgowns and the workout clothing Ethan had gotten her in the suitcase, she thumbed through a couple of the books before picking a few favorites to put in. “Ethan - how are we going to leave.”
“Get dressed - put on… the leggings and one of my sweatshirts.” He mumbled, eyes raking over her clothing. “Tie your hair back, put your wedding ring in your suitcase.” He put on a similar all black outfit before glancing at himself in the mirror. Anna watched as Ethan hurriedly went into the bathroom and began buzzing his beautiful dark hair off.
Anna opened her mouth in horror as she watched his black locks fall to the floor. “Ethan - oh my god.”
“I can’t look like myself.” He explained, continuing to shave his thick beard off. “I’m going to pull the car to the back, grab some non-perishable foods and water and put them in a backpack.” Shoving a black backpack into her arms and slipping a pair of tennis shoes on, Ethan was bolting down the stairs with his own bag.
Anna let out a shaky breath as she shoved some canned goods, granola bars, and bottled water into the backpack. Her hands shaking as she stood in the kitchen in her skin tight leggings feeling extremely out of place. She gripped the suitcase and sprinted out of the house, throwing the suitcase in the trunk and sliding into the front seat of Ethan’s black coupe.
“We’re going to have to go to the office to pickup my cash and a less noticeable car.” He explained, racing off down the highway with his hand gripping her thigh tightly.
-
Not even twenty minutes later, Ethan had $30,000 in cash in a duffel bag in the back seat of his twelve year old Jeep. The first car he got when he turned eighteen and it seemed like he may be leaving this god forsaken city in the same one. The pair had headed towards the lower class part of town, Ethan explaining no one would think twice about an old jeep flying down the old, busted streets.
“Aren’t we going to get stopped when we hit the border?” She questioned, voice quiet as Ethan floored it.
“All of Hailette’s military is guarding the ball tonight.” Jaw clenching as he noticed a car behind them getting close. “Anna, there are so many things you don’t know - Hailette is pretty much enemy number one for most other countries. Our annual ball is the only time all of our most powerful people are in one place - it’s the perfect time for an enemy to attack.”
“Oh.” She breathed, her heart rate increasing as she started to realize everything that could possibly happen and everyone she was leaving behind. “Ethan, I’m scared.”
“Me too.” Admitting his nerves to his wife may have been hard for him, but right now it was easy. This was the scariest thing he’d ever done; leaving his twin and his parents was horrifying, but he had no choice.

Joestar Squared
hey hey hey!!! this is my secret santa to @melodicamatsu for @jjba-secret-santa !!
hope you enjoy this, since you said joseph was your fave and you preferred non ships! i also had this idea in the works for a while, so i hope you like it, espeically since it isn't a christmas story, and that you can read it any time of the year!
i'm on phone, so i'm not entirely sure if this will work or not. let's find out
[[MORE]]
Jonathan knew something was wrong as soon as he'd arrived to the hotel room to find it empty, barren of the grandson he was supposed to meet. There was only his bag haphazardly thrown on one of the beds, some of its contents strewn about. How typical of Joseph to leave a mess such as this. Speedwagon wasn't even sight, which was entirely strange in of itself since the man always listened to Jonathan.
He was also aware of trouble when he couldn't find the Hamon user- Caesar Zeppeli- either. Both boys and Speedwagon were just missing, even though they were supposed to wait. The boys being gone made more since. Teenage boys hardly ever listened to the words of their elders now after his time, so this would be no different. But Speedwagon? He'd always trusted Jonathan’s instincts since they'd first met. It just didn't make any sense of why he'd have gone as well.
….Unless Joseph dragged the older man along with him. Jonathan ended up slapping a hand on his face with a frustrated sigh. His grandson was always leaping into action, hardly thinking things through beforehand until he'd get himself into a situation where he had to think of how to get out of it. It was a strange process, but it seemed to always work when it came to Joseph. Like the time he'd had to save Speedwagon from kidnappers that were after his fortune on an airplane. Robert had told him all about the events as Joseph profusely apologized to Erina for the blood stain- which was nowhere near his fault- on the suit he'd gotten her.
At least he was apologetic, though. Sometimes a true gentleman would shine through Joseph’s delinquent facade for those around him to see. Those instances always would warm Jonathan’s heart, reminding him of George.
But that was all beside the point.
All three of the people he was supposed to meet here were currently not waiting for him and that meant there was trouble. What kind of trouble, Jonathan didn't know, but his instincts from his youth were screaming at him to be careful.
He just needed to find them, now.
He did recall something Caesar had written him in a previous letter- “The Germans have been taking me to this strange statue of three men. That may have something to do with this ‘Pillar Man’ your grandson was talking about. I've been going to study them every day at the Colosseum”- so he figured he may as well check there first. He readjusts the Luck Pluck sword on his shoulder and leaves the hotel.
Finding the place with the three statues Caesar has spoken of in his letter proved to be a tad more difficult- he’d figured there'd be guards- but he eventually did in the form of a hole in the wall. He climbs inside and is surprised at what he finds.
The soldiers who should have been guarding the outside in a pile of dried out flesh. Almost like deflated balloons. He presses his lips into a thin line and steps inside, careful to avoid any of their bodies. They may be enemies, but they still deserve respect, even in their deaths.
The one soldier who seemed to be cut in half as opposed to deflated was a good indicator of which why everything that had happened went. Especially when he comes upon a destroyed pillar and drops of blood leading away towards a set of tracks that leads further underground.
That's when he spots Speedwagon, trying to pick his way deeper down.
He rushes forward, laying his hands on both of Speedwagon’s shoulders. The other, greying man gasped in surprise and tenses, before he sees just who was grabbing and attempting to help him navigate further under the ground. “Jonathan!” he exclaimed, relief coating his voice. He hadn’t called Jonathan Jojo in years- the nickname had been basically passed down to Joseph, who was now referred to the nickname more than his actual name. Even Jonathan calls him Jojo now. The name just perfectly fits the lad. “Oh thank the heavens it’s you!”
“Robert,” Jonathan said in return. He let’s Speedwagon lean his weight into his hold, allowing the physically older man to catch his breath. He knows age has been getting to Speedwagon more and more as the years went by. He just doesn’t like to think about it a lot. “What is going on here? Where is Jojo?”
Speedwagon frowns deeply, his face tightening. “I tried to keep him from coming here without you, I really did,” he said quickly, even though he was still out of breath. “But he wouldn’t listen!”
“Where is he, Robert?” Jonatahn repeats, calmly. Even if his heart was beginning to beat a tad quicker, the worry for his grandson mounting. He’d grown rather attached to the boy, especially after the death of his father, and wanted nothing ill to happen to him. He’d promised this to both Elizabeth and Erina, after all. And to himself. “I can help him, wherever he is, but you have to tell me where he is.”
Robert points a shaking hand further underground. “He and.. And those… men, are somewhere down there, along the tracks,” he explained. Jonathan nods, and moves to set him against a nearby wall, but the other man catches his wrist. “Please, be careful, Jonathan.” His voice was pleading. “I fear they may be more powerful than… than even he had been.”
That claim has Jonathan’s blood freezing, and he swallows heavily. He then nods once more, and gives Robert his most reassuring smile. “It’ll be alright, my friend,” he told him, keeping his voice even. “You just get some rest.”
He then draws away, and walks further into the darkness, determined to save Joseph from whatever the boy had gotten himself into now.
It doesn’t take him long to hear the recognizable voice of his grandson, as strained as it currently sounded. He could tell Joseph was reaching his limit, and even though he was talking big, there was a slight tremor in his voice only those close to him would recognize. He picks up his pace, beginning to run.
“It’s such a shame you won’t be able to fight me once I’m at my peak,” Joseph is saying, with that tone he uses when he’s trying to pull one over someone. He was trying to trick the enemy(ies?), and Jonathan didn’t know if it was working or not. “Who knew how strong I would have been in a few months- hell even just one! I’m sure I’d be able to beat you then.”
“This proposition interests me.” came a voice Jonathan didn’t know. It was deep and heavily accented from a language Jonathan hadn’t heard before.”My lords, please, let me entertain this notion.”
“Whatever amuses you, Whammu.” it was another, more smooth voice, coated with the same accent. “Just hurry up and decide if you’re going to kill him or not already.”
Jonathan is approaching an opening that has light flooding in through to the darkness. He spots another man standing on the edge of it, peering around the edge, and this must be Zeppeli’s grandson, Caesar. He could see that the young lad was currently heavily injured, and was trying to decide whether he should help or not. He comes up and places a hand on the Italian’s shoulder, momentarily shocking him.
“Wh- who are you?” Caesar demanded quietly, bubbles of hamon forming around both of his hands. “Are you with the Pillar Men?”
“No, calm down, Caesar,” Jonathan instructed just as quietly. “I am Jonathan Joestar, Joseph’s grandfather.”
Caesar raises an eyebrow despite the situation. “You look more like his father than his grandfather,” he said pointedly. Jonathan winces inwardly at the comment, briefly reminded of George. But he pushes the thought aside for now. He has to stay in the here and now so he can help Joseph. “Anyway, Jojo needs our help. He’s cornered by all three of the Pillar Men right now. Pretty sure he’s almost bled out, too.” The Italian frowns. “Why haven’t you trained him to use his hamon better?”
Jonathan ignores the question, opting to instead take in the situation around the corner. The scene makes him sick to his stomach.
Joseph is currently sprawled on the ground, laying in a pool of his own blood that must have been pouring from the injury on his wrist. Two tall men are standing in front of him, both sparsely dressed yet menacing and intimidating all the same. They are staring down at Joseph like he was some kind of animal they could do with as they pleased. The thought makes Jonathan’s blood boil. He’d already be running out to help his grandson, but he knows he needs to take the situation in first fully. He glances upwards, spots a third man higher off the ground. He seems to be disinterested with the situation.
“And just to make sure you don’t run off from our agreement,” the deep voiced one from before- Whammu- is speaking again, and holding up a small ring. “I will now propose to you… with the Ring of Death.” And in a flash the man’s- or creature’s?- hand is shooting out and into Joseph’s chest, causing the boy to let out a scream of pain. “This one doesn’t go on your finger, though…”
That was it. That was all Jonathan could stand to watch.
He draws the Pluck Luck sword and charges out with a furious call, causing all three of the Pillar Men to look at him at once. But he doesn’t stop, continuing to run until he stabs the sword through the closest man’s side. That happened to be the Pillar Man standing beside Whamuu, and when at first he doesn’t seem impressed, Jonathan sends a blinding burst of hamon through it a moment later, causing the skin and flesh around the blade to begin to melt and crackle.
The Pillar Man lets out a scream now, and the one known as Whamuu yanks his hand from Joseph’s chest to punch at Jonathan. But Jonathan is still quick, despite his older age, thanks to his hmon training. He leaps out of the way, swinging the still hamon fused sword to cut Whamuu’s hand clean from his wrist. Once both Pillar Men have stumbled back from Joseph, Jonathan leaps to stand between him and the Pillar Men. Joseph is still on the ground, his fingers frantically scratching at the spot Whamuu had forced the ring into.
“Gramps?” Joseph exclaimed, his voice shaking more than it had. He knew he was going to be in trouble. “When… when did you get here?”
“Be quiet, Jojo,” Jonathan ordered him, hardly sparing him a glance over his shoulder. “I'll deal with you later.”
“Well, isn't this interesting.” came a third voice. From the man lounging above. He leaps down, landing in front of the other two men struggling to heal from his attack. So hamon affected them like vampires. That was good to know. He holds his sword higher, keeping the tip aligned with the man’s nose. “You must be related to this…” he half glanced at Joseph, who was struggling to stand now. “...distraction.”
Whamuu stands up straight now, holding his stump arm close, since it had yet to heal. He looks Jonathan up and down, as though examining him, and then nods. “He must be. Jojo shares his face,” he said pointedly. He grins then, despite his sliced wrist continuing to sizzle and smoke. “Excellent. Another worthy opponent.”
“There are more of the hamon users remaining than we'd previously believed,” the third continued speaking, his eyes flashing dangerously. Jonathan shifts on his feet, narrowing his eyes in return. This man was reminding him more and of… him, with each second. “What a minor annoyance. We’ll have to be rid of them.”
“With respect, Lord Kars,” Whamuu said, bowing to the other man. The leader of this trio, then. “But I already made a deal with Jojo. Please allow this deal to pass over his grandfather, as well. He seems to be a worthy adversary.”
Kars hums in thought, placing a finger tip to his chin. “I suppose we could let them live, for now,” he said. He smirks, and waves a hand at Whamuu. “I do believe he too will be returning to us, just as his grandson. Go ahead, Whamuu, tell them of the ring.”
Kars then leaps into the night, and the man Jonathan had attacked at the beginning finally straightens up. He looks from Whamuu to the sky before he too leaps away, a look of disappointment on his face.
“As I said before,” Whamuu said, and Jonathan’s eyes dart back to his face. The large man has a hand held to the side dramatically. He then points at Joseph, who had come to stand beside Jonathan. The older of the two Joestars frowns, looking Joseph over through the corner of his eye. He didn’t seem to have any other injuries aside from a few scrapes and bruises, nothing a Joestar couldn’t heal from. The most worrying thing was the large gash on the bottom of his wrist and the fact Whamuu had stuck a ring somewhere inside his chest. “That is the Ring of Death. I placed it around your heart, and in thirty-three days it will dissolve, or it will still dissolve if you make any attempt to remove it.”
Jonathan can just hear Joseph let a breath out through his nose, the first sign that his grandson was growing stressed. He could tell that the younger man didn't like where this was going just as much as he didn't.
“The only cure for it is in this piercing,” Whamuu continued, pointing to the ring in his lip. Jonathan’s grown deepens. “The only way for you to get it is to beat me in battle.”
“Then perhaps I will,” Jonathan exclaimed, and instantly charges forward with the Pluck Luck held over his head. He takes a swing at Whamuu, but he leaps back out of the sword’s reach, and up into the air, landing a tad higher than them. “Running so soon from a battle? I didn't take you to be cowardly.”
“I am waiting for the fight your grandson promised me,” Whamuu replied, gesturing to Joseph, who is staring up with wide, but calculating eyes. Always calculating, always planning ahead. “Until a month has passed, I will be preparing myself for our duel just as much as he is.” He bows his head. “Until then, Jojo.”
He then disappears into the night.
That's when Joseph finally loses his balance, falling to his knees with a heavy gasp. Jonathan turns to him, sheathing Pluck Luck and hurrying towards him.
“You absolute buffoon,” Jonathan said softly as he takes Joseph’s weight, easily holding it. Joseph is breathing heavily, the blood on his face a cruel portrait. “You should have waited for me. Now look at the mess you're in.”
Joseph draws a deep breath through his nose, staring up at Jonathan through one eye, the other screwed shut. “S… sorry, Gramps,” he breathed out, his voice further strained than before. It was lucky Jonathan had shown up when he had, else Joseph would have lost his sure front when dealing with the Pillar Men, and probably would have been dead by now. “Got… got im… impatient.”
“That's all you ever do,” Jonathan said, a tad angry, letting Joseph know of his disapproval of his behavior. George has run into danger, and had done so for the last time all those years ago… He couldn't let that happen to Joseph, too. “Run head first into things without thinking.”
Joseph grimaces, coughs up blood that dribbles down his chin. “I… I had to keep… Uncle Spe… speedwagon safe,” he pauses to draw a breath in, chuckles with difficulty. “And that… stuck up… Zeppeli, too, I guess.”
Jonathan shakes his head, but can't stop the flare of pride from warming his chest. Joseph was always putting others first, trying to keep them safe. Others may not think him to be the best of gentlemen, but he was surely one in Jonathan’s eyes. “Hush now,” he ordered, gently. “Just get rest now. I'll handle things from here.”
Joseph nods, and his other eye closes. “S.. Sounds good, Gramps…” he then loses consciousness, his breathing a rough and heavy. Jonathan couldn't decipher if that was due to any internal injuries, from the ring that had just been wrapped around his heart, or just from exhaustion. Hell, maybe it was all three.
He shook those thoughts away as he hears nearing footsteps. He looks over his shoulder and spots Caesar walking slowly forward. “Is… is he alright?” he asked hesitantly.
Jonathan nods. “He will be,” he said, and then smirks. “Something like this couldn't stop us Joestars.”
Caesar shakes his head in disbelief. “I thought he was running to save his own skin back there,” the Italian admits. “But really he was just trying to get us out of the line of fire.”
“That's Joseph,” Jonathan said, with a knowing smile. There's that flare of pride in his chest again. “Always averting expectations to make things go his way.”
Caesar then offers help with carrying Joseph, but Jonathan politely turns him down. The Italian was already injured and exhausted himself, and he's never had any real trouble carrying his grandson. Probably due to the fact he was so muscular still.
They meet up with Speedwagon and Caesar informs him of what's happened as they continue on their way out.
Jonathan stares ahead, determined to defeat these Pillar Men along with Joseph. If he'd been able to defeat him all those years ago, then it'd be no problem with his grandson.
They were Joestars, after all.

PLEASE tell us more about your creation au i beg of u
Well, I don’t have much backstory fleshed out or really a story for it quite yet. I love Greek mythology with the gods kind of having their own place to exist but wandering the mortal realm for fun/boredom.
I’d say Joseph loves the mortal realm, he loves wandering around on earth when the moons out during the day to see the creatures that are otherwise sleeping at night. He loves the people and often dresses as a human to hear their tales of adventure and woe and visit busy places like markets to observe and interact.
Caesar, on the other hand, is an observer. He takes his job to raise and lower the sun very seriously and rarely leaves his post. He’s given up on lecturing Joseph to do the same and finds the moon God immature and loud for how long they’ve coexisted together and doesn’t understand what he finds so interesting about the lower life forms on earth. However, the way in which Joseph retells their tales and the way his eyes sparkle when he talks about a new discovery has Caesar keeping his commentary to himself.
Kakyoin as life can always be found roaming the earth to admire everyone’s work come together to make something beautiful and equal in balance. He visits the homes of burrows of his creations and restores the life of aching creatures during his visits. He loves the surface in all its forms and those that walk on it and he often wishes in the silence of his own heart that he could be one of them.
He has mixed feelings on the God of Death Jotaro. He’s strong, silent and mysterious. They’ve barely exchanged more than passing pleasantries but Kakyoin feels like there’s more he wants to say behind his eyes. Kakyoin rarely sees him on the mortal realm other than for work, meaning when someone’s time is up. Kakyoin doesn’t stay to watch, having a strange feeling in his gut to see the life he’s given being taken away. Jotaro does what needs to be done efficiently and without remorse, but there’s seems to be a bit of a melancholy expression on his face as the soul is disconnected from it’s body. Kakyoin isn’t sure what to make of him.
Josuke and Okuyasu are a duo not to be reckoned with. Although the stars and the moon or the moon and the sea sometimes make more sense the stars and the sea are surprisingly compatible. Josuke can be loud and brazen as much as a young god can be, but he has a soft level-headedness to him that reels in okuyasu’s impulsiveness. They first met when Okuyasu feeling a bit subpar compared to the jobs of the other gods would often get depressed and sit on the shore of the waters looking down at the dark of the ocean. He was approached one day but the ethereal god of the stars who’d noticed his habit for some time and came to ask why he seemed so distraught. Okuyasu told him he felt lackluster compared to the rest of the God’s; “I mean just look at the rest of you, sparkling and important, you’ve all got such big things to do. And me, I’m nothing but water, dark and murky and cold. And you’re all so gorgeous and I’m just, plain boring.” Upon hearing this Josuke grabbed the god of the ocean and flew him to the stars to overlook earth. “You’re the one who’s beautiful, you make up almost the whole planet, and without your shining reflection, the moon and I wouldn’t look half as beautiful as you say without you. People swim, sail and cross your oceans, they interact with you and they love you in ways the moon and I will never experience because you’re you. Don’t doubt yourself when you can’t see yourself, because I see you. And you’re wonderful.” They've been inseparable ever since.
I have some interactions and stuff planned between them via asks and how they feel about each other to work on more as well as roles to add to Jonathan and Speedwagon and giorno and mista as well. I’m thinking earth and sky, spring and winter. I will be drawing them eventually too! Buuuut yeah, that’s basically what I have so far, thanks for listening to my rant mfbnjk <3333333

An Interesting Turn of Events [5/?]
Pairing: Jotaro Kujo x Noriaki Kakyoin Summary: There were three things Jotaro Joestar was completely certain about: One. 80’s rock was the be-all end-all of music. Two. The movie Jaws wrongly portrayed sharks as evil and blood-thirsty, and he did not stand for it at all. Three. Being an alpha while also part of the Joestar-lineage was an absolute curse. Warnings: Omegaverse with omega!Kakyoin and alpha!Jotaro References to underaged drinking
A/N: It’s party time - part 2!
Read on Ao3 here: LINK
Jotaro was unsure of how long they stayed in that position, with Kakyoin sleeping soundlessly against him. They had been momentarily interrupted by Avdol as he came out to get Polnareff back inside. Jotaro had just shushed him when Avdol’s face lit up as he saw Kakyoin sleeping against him. Avdol had given him a look that clearly stated that they would be discussing this later, before heading back inside with a barely awake Polnareff.
It by now had to be well after midnight, the lighting from the windows being their only source of light apart from the starry night sky. The air had gotten significantly cooler since they had gone outside. Maybe that was a sign that it was about time for them to get back inside. Kakyoin should hopefully have had enough time to sleep off the worst of his previous drunken state.
He gently shook his shoulder, and Kakyoin stirred slightly.
“Huh?” his voice was groggy with sleep as he sat up, eyes still half-lidded as he looked at Jotaro in slight confusion.
“We should get inside. It’s starting to get cold” Jotaro said and stood up, offering a hand down towards him. Kakyoin nodded absently and took a hold of his outstretched hand, and Jotaro pulled him up into a standing position. Jotaro helped him back inside and Kakyoin immediately collapsed on the nearest couch.
“Imma just sleep a little bit more” he mumbled as he curled up and rested his head against the armrest. Jotaro let out a small huff of laughter as he picked up one of the spare blankets Jonathan insisted they keep in every room, and draping it over Kakyoin. Kakyoin let out a low murmur in response, burying his face in the blanket. He was fast asleep before Jotaro even had enough time to acknowledge it, his breathing once again getting heavier as he nuzzled against the blanket.
Jotaro realized that he might need help. And he needed it now.
He decided that the most logical solution was to go and look for Jonathan. He always knew what kind of advice to give, in almost every situation imaginable. Jotaro soon found him nearby, surrounded by a group of chatting people. He was currently deep in a conversation with Speedwagon, who was considered to be the coolest omega around and who was always the life of the party. Jotaro stood awkwardly to the side as he waited for his chance to insert himself into the conversation. But before he had the chance to, Jonathan had already noticed him and waved him over with a smile.
“Jotaro, come listen to what Speedwagon was up to last week!” Jonathan called as he stepped aside, so that Jotaro could slip in closer.
Jotaro was only half listening as Speedwagon told them the story of how he had allegedly gotten into a fight in an alley and almost sliced a man’s hand off with his hat. Another classic Speedwagon story.
Jonathan seemed to notice that his mind was elsewhere, as he gave him a questioning look.
“You alright, Jotaro?” he asked, a slight tint of worry evident in his voice.
“Yeah, I just... Um, Could I talk to you alone for a moment?” Jonathan nodded and excused himself quickly, before gesturing for Jotaro to follow him out into the empty hallway.
“So what’s up?” Jonathan asked, patiently waiting for him to answer. Jotaro fidgeted restlessly for a few moments while he gathered his thoughts.
“How did you know that you wanted to be with Erina. Romantically, I mean”
Jonathan looked surprised for a moment, but he quickly hid it behind a gentle smile.
“I realised almost instantly” Jonathan’s eyes looked distant as if he was re-living the memory. “I felt this immediate connection to her, but at first I thought It was just normal feelings of friendship. But after a few weeks it suddenly hit me that I would be completely heartbroken if she were to end up with anyone else but me. And then I just realized it all seemed so right, that she was what I needed. I guess” Jonathan let out a slight huff of laughter and turned his gaze back towards Jotaro.
“Why, is anything on your mind?” Jotaro could see that Jonathan was intrigued by his question, even though he tried his best to hide it.
“it’s nothing” Jotaro just shrugged the question off as he stared at his own feet. “I was just… curious”
“Alright then” Jonathan let out a slight laugh, before resting a hand on top of Jotaro’s shoulder, squeezing it tightly. “But you know that you can tell me anything, right?” Jotaro just nodded in response. He didn’t have enough time to think of a proper response before the doorbell went of three times consecutively.
Jonathan let out a deep sigh. “It’s probably just someone here to complain about the noise. I’ll get it, you get back to the party” Jotaro nodded and hurried back to the living room.
What Jonathan had told him was such an utterly unrealistic and cheesy love story. Jotaro wasn’t like that. How could someone claim that they just knew when it was right? That didn’t make any sense. Jotaro sighed loudly and worked both of his hands through his hair, messing it up even further.
Asking Jonathan for advice might have been a mistake. Because Jotaro knew that he didn’t harbour any romantic feeling towards anyone in particular. He hadn’t felt that way towards anyone before, so why would he now? He was probably only smitten by Kakyoin since he was one of the first omegas around his own age that he had to spend a lot of time around. Yeah, that would explain everything.
“Hey!”
Jotaro turned around at the sound of the familiar voice, and found himself standing face to face with a grinning Kakyoin, who had the blanket still wrapped tightly around himself.
“Hey, I thought you were sleeping” Jotaro was slightly startled by his sudden appearance, especially since he was just thinking about him.
“It’s pretty hard to sleep when there seems to be the storytelling of the century going on in the same room. Did you know that Speedwagon once fought a vampire?” Kakyoin laughed.
“I don’t think he did very much of the actual fighting, and I don’t think it was an actual vampire” Jotaro said, turning his attention towards Speedwagon, who was indeed telling another of his heavily exaggerated stories to a group of intrigued drunk people. That man could talk for hours on end if nobody stopped him.
“Don’t say that, vampires could be real for all we know!” Kakyoin said with a smile as he also turned towards Speedwagon, staggering slightly at the sudden movement.
“You alright?” Jotaro asked.
Kakyoin nodded. “I’m getting better. Everything just gets a bit spinny if I move too fast” he demonstrated by shaking his head vigorously, and almost falling over in the process. He only let out a slight giggle as he grabbed onto Jotaro’s shoulder to stabilize himself.
“Where are your usual admirers by the way? Nobody has been clinging to you all night. Except for me right now of course” Kakyoin let out a loud snort at his own joke.
“They are all permanently banned from ever coming to any of our parties” Jotaro said, as he tried to ignore the way Kakyoin’s fingers clinged onto his shirt.
“Really? How many people are banned?” Kakyoin asked.
“A couple dozen or so. But there might be one more if you’re not careful” Jotaro said with a slight smirk on his lips. Kakyoin let out an over exaggerated gasp as he clutched at his heart with his free hand.
“I can’t believe that you would do something like that, Jojo , And to your biology partner nonetheless” Kakyoin broke into another set of giggles as he pulled himself even closer to Jotaro, resting most of his weight on him, moving to hug one of Jotaro’s arms tightly against his chest.
“You should probably go sit down again” he said as he felt how unstable Kakyoin still was in his footing. Kakyoin hummed in agreement.
“You have a really soft couch, so I’m not gonna complain. But I’m thirsty though” he smacked his lips loudly as if to make a point. “Get me some more cherry-stuff?” he gave Jotaro his best attempt at puppy eyes. Jotaro had a feeling that they would have been very successful if he hadn’t averted his gaze in time.
“I’ll get you some water, as long as you sit down” Jotaro responded. Kakyoin frowned, but still nodded.
“I really liked the cherry-stuff though” Kakyoin muttered under his breath, but he waved Jotaro off none the less before once again collapsing onto the couch, his wavy hair strand the only thing sticking out from underneath the blanket.
Jotaro quickly made his way over to the kitchen, only to almost trip over Joseph who had apparently decided to take a nap in the middle of the floor.
“What the fuck?” Jotaro swore loudly as Joseph woke up with a groan.
“Sup Joot, how’s it hanging” he mumbled as he attempted to sit up straight.
“You’re drunk. go to bed already” Jotaro said with a deep frown. Joseph stuck his tongue out at him, before collapsing into a lying position again.
“I’ve got him!” Caesar suddenly emerged, rolling his sleeves up to his elbows. “I can’t guarantee you that he won’t accidentally fall down the stairs though”
“That’s fine” Jotaro replied, receiving a wide grin from Caesar.
“That’s so mean, Jotaro” Joseph mumbled as Caesar hoisted him up, looping one of Joseph’s arms around his own shoulders. “What if I end up dying?” He looked close to crying. “Jotaro please come to my funeral, you will do that for me, right?”
Jotaro quickly scooped up his water and hurried away from Joseph’s whining. He did not have the energy to deal with him and his drunken crying right now.
as he stepped back into the living room Jotaro froze mid step. The universe was apparently dead set on the fact that this night was destined to be a bad one, since none other that Dio Brando was currently standing in the room. He was currently chatting with two girls, smiling brightly at them while they practically swooned over him.
Dio seemed to have spotted him as well, as he excused himself from the girls before walking over.
“What are you doing here?” Jotaro asked as soon as Dio was close enough to hear him.
“I could hardly sleep thanks to all the noise” Dio shrugged as he leaned against the doorway, arms crossed over his chest. “So I decided to join in on the fun instead”
“You’re not welcome here”
Dio just scoffed slightly. “Actually, Jonathan let me in as long as I don’t start anything , so technically I am actually welcome here”
“Not for long you won’t be” Jotaro took a step closer to the other Alpha. Dio had a way of always pushing his button.
“Well you’re as much fun to talk to as usual, aren’t you Jotaro” Dio sighed as he turned his attention back towards the two girls, who were still waiting for his return. “If you don’t mind, I’ll be getting back to those beautiful ladies then”
“Or you should just leave” was Jotaro’s only response. He was momentarily relieved that Joseph wasn’t nearby, as the two of them meeting would most likely have ended in catastrophe.
“Oh don’t be like that now, there are plenty of beautiful omega’s for the both of us to enjoy” Dio let out a cold laugh as he patted Jotaro roughly on the shoulder, before leaning in slightly closer.
“Besides, don’t you have someone to get back to yourself?” Dio asked with a smirk as he threw a look towards where Kakyoin was.
Jotaro frowned. He didn’t like the suggestiveness in Dio’s voice or the expression on his face one bit. But before he had the chance to say anything back Dio had walked back to the girls he had previously been flirting with, as if nothing had happened.
Jotaro hurried back to where Kakyoin was sitting, humming along to the ongoing karaoke battle that had apparently began while Jotaro was gone.
Why was he so annoyed at Dio? He always did bothersome stuff like this, but for some reason Jotaro could feel the anger towards the other man boiling inside him. It was more intense that any negative feelings he had harboured towards Dio before. And he also couldn’t shake the feeling of unease that had come over him.
Jotaro was brought back to reality by Kakyoin snapping his fingers in front of his eyes.
“Jo-ta-ro, earth is attempting to contact you” he smiled at Jotaro’s slightly startled expression.
“Sorry” Jotaro mumbled and handed him the glass, which Kakyoin downed in one go.
“Something happen?” Kakyoin asked after a moment of silence. “You seem… off”
“Not really. It’s just our asshole neighbour intruding and being generally creepy” he shot off a glare towards where Dio was standing. Kakyoin leaned closer to him briefly to see where he was looking.
“ Dio is your neighbour?” Kakyoin asked. Jotaro turned back to look at him.
“You know him?” he asked wearily.
Kakyoin shrugged. “We have a class together, he is pretty… intense. To say the least” Kakyoin’s face scrunched up in clear distaste.
Jotaro’s heartbeat sped up. “Did he do anything to you?” he asked a bit too quickly.
“Nothing that I couldn’t handle” Kakyoin said and nodded towards Dio. “It seems like he does that kind of shit a lot”
Jotaro turned to watch as Dio towered over one of the omegas who was giggling loudly while practically molding herself up against his body.
“I don’t see the appeal, to be honest” Kakyoin said with his chin resting in his palms, while he eyed the couple critically. “Can’t she see that his eyes are completely cold and that he just seems dead inside?”
“I don’t think most of them care” Jotaro responded. “As long as you’re tall and broad it doesn’t really matter how much of an asshole you are towards them”
Kakyoin let out a snort. “Well, you of all people should know, shouldn’t you”
Jotaro nodded in agreement. But something from their conversation still didn’t sit right with him.
“So, what does ‘Nothing I couldn’t handle’ mean anyway?” Jotaro asked, focusing his gaze on Kakyoin.
“That, pretty much” Kakyoin said and nodded towards the still looming Dio. “Except I wasn’t as…. into it as she seems to be” He let out a noise of disgust as Dio and the girl now stood liplocked, with her clinging onto him for dear life.
“I hate couples and their excessive amounts of PDA” Kakyoin sighed. Jotaro hummed in agreement. He could almost feel the thick stench of want coming from the other side of the room.
“Oh, and he pretty much followed me home as well, which was insanely creepy” Kakyoin added. Jotaro’s previous feeling of unease immediately returned.
“He did what now?”
“I know! Creep of the year if you ask me. I just told him off and haven’t seen him since” Kakyoin seemed unbothered as he went back to humming along to the people singing off-key karaoke at the top of their lungs.
Jotaro on the other hand could not shake off his uneasiness as easily. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust that Kakyoin could take care of himself. It had more to do with the fact that he did not trust Dio in the slightest. Their families had been in a feud with each other for as long as Jotaro could remember. And he didn’t want Dio anywhere near Kakyoin. The whole ordeal just left a bad taste in his mouth.
His previous conversation with Jonathan sprung back into his mind. More specifically what he had said about not wanting anybody else to get close to Erina. Jonathan’s words seemed to make a bit more sense to him now. But it wasn’t the same. It wasn’t because he liked Kakyoin like that . It was just because Dio was dangerous. He only wanted him to stay as far away as possible so that Kakyoin could be safe. And so that he would could be with Jotaro instead.
oh.
The realization hit Jotaro like a ton of bricks. He had known and accepted that he liked Kakyoin in a friendly way. At the same time he had also been aware of the fact that he was very attractive. But simply acknowledging that someone was attractive didn’t necessarily meant that you were attracted to them. Until everything flipped on its head and that was exactly what it meant.
Jotaro found himself staring at Kakyoin in an almost transfixed state. Had his eyes always been that bright? Had his hair always looked that soft? Had his lips always looked so plump and pink and so goddamn kissable ?
Everything inside of Jotaro screamed at him to just lean towards him, grab his face between his hands and bring their lips together. But his brain knew that doing so would be a terrible move. He did not want to come off as creepy or insensitive. Especially since Kakyoin had just told him what he thought of Dio’s advances. And to make matters worse, he didn’t even know if Kakyoin had even the slightest interest in him to begin with. Jotaro was well aware of the fact that he was not always the best at picking up on social cues.
Speaking of the devil, Dio had now started making his way towards the outer door, the omega following right behind him. But before he turned the corner he turned to gave Jotaro a wide grin, as if he had felt his eyes on him. He gave a mocking wave and mouthed something that Jotaro couldn't decipher before walking out of his line of sight and out the door. Good riddance.
Soon after Caesar plopped down on the couch next to him, moaning about what an absolute pain in the ass Joseph was. Him and Kakyoin immediately fell into conversation, with Jotaro only half listening in on their discussion. He was too busy having a near existential crisis after realizing that he without a doubt had a huge crush on Kakyoin.
The room had gotten significantly sparser as the clock ticked on. It was by now early morning.
“Oh fuck” Kakyoin moaned.
“What?” Caesar asked.
“My parents are gonna kill me for staying out this late” Kakyoin said as he quickly stood up. “I really need to get going”
Jotaro and Caesar both followed him to the door, standing by as he hurriedly got dressed.
“Well, goodbye then” Kakyoin said with a smile, his gaze jumping between the two of them.
“I’ll see you monday” Caesar said as he engulfed Kakyoin in a quick hug, both of them patting each other lightly on the back. Caesar then hurried off upstairs, probably to check up on Joseph.
“I guess I’ll see you soon as well?” Kakyoin said as he gave Jotaro a small smile. Jotaro simply nodded and mumbled a quiet “yeah”. They stood in silence for a moment, Kakyoin fidgeting with the fringes on his scarf. He then took a couple of steps forward and wrapped his arms tightly around Jotaro.
Jotaro stood frozen in place for just a second, before he quickly wrapped his arms around Kakyoin as well, wallowing in the warmth radiating off his body. He noticed a slight shift in Kakyoin’s scent, with it getting slightly sweeter as he returned the hug.
Jotaro didn’t know how long the hug lasted before Kakyoin eventually took a step back. But he did know that it without a doubt had been significantly longer than the one he had shared with Caesar.
“Bye then” the majority of his face was now hidden behind the scarf that he had quickly hiked up as soon as he broke off the hug.
“uh, yeah. Bye”
And with that Kakyoin was out the door. Jotaro stood by for another minute, watching the door intently as if Kakyoin was going to walk back through it and throw himself in his arms at any moment now.
But that never happened. Jotaro instead stepped back as a small group of other partygoers headed for the door as well. It seemed as if the party was pretty much over by now, empty bottles and glasses scattered all throughout the house. He noticed Jonathan busy cleaning up the worst of the mess in the kitchen. He gave Jotaro a slight smile as he noticed him awkwardly hovering in the doorway.
“You go to bed, I’ll take care of this. I think Polnareff and Avdol are already crashing in your room”
“Alright, thanks” Jotaro hadn’t noticed until now how exhausted he really was. “G’night”
“Goodnight”
Polnareff and Avdol had indeed quite literally crashed in his room, the both of them sleeping practically on top of each other on a pile of blankets on the floor. It looked immensely uncomfortable, but Jotaro didn’t have the heart to wake them up from their much needed sleep. Both of them were snoring soundly as Jotaro threw himself down on his bed, falling asleep himself almost as soon as his head hit the pillow beneath him.
*********
Jotaro woke up the next morning because of the sunlight hitting him straight in his face. He groaned loudly. Why did he always forget to put down the blinds before going to bed?
Avdol and Polnareff seemed to have woken up as well. Polnareff was lying face down with a bunch of blankets covering his head, while Avdol had made the effort to actually stand up, his eyes squinted to block out the sunlight.
“Good morning” Jotaro said with a yawn.
“I don’t know about that” Avdol grumbled. “Well, at least we are not as destroyed as our dear friend Polnareff here” he said as he poked Polnareff on the back with his foot. Polnareff let out a sting of muffled curses from underneath the blanket.
“How late didn’t you get to bed?” Avdol asked as he moved to sit down beside Jotaro.
“Dunno, probably around two”
“Hm” Avdol said with a glint in his eyes. “I’m guessing things went well with Kakyoin then?”
Jotaro felt his face heating up as he recalled last night's big revelation. “I don’t know what you mean” he mumbled.
“Suure” it was clear that Avdol didn’t believe him, but to Jotaro’s relief he didn’t press any further.
After the two of them finally managed to get Polnareff up off the floor and in an alright enough state to actually stand on his own, all three of them made their way downstairs. Jonathan was standing in the kitchen, cooking up enough scrambled eggs to feed an entire class of starving children.
“Good morning boys” he greeted them with a warm smile. “You staying for breakfast?”
“If there’s no trouble” Avdol replied politely.
“I think I need an aspirin” Polnareff grumbled, clearly still suffering from his bad hangover.
Soon the three friends were seated around the kitchen table, chatting about what their plans for the day was as Jonathan set the breakfast on the table. They were soon joined by Josuke, who was the only one who seemed to not be even the slightest bit tired.
“It sounded like you had fun last night” he said happily as he applied way too much jelly onto his sandwich.
“I think most of us did” Avdol replied. “Except maybe for Polnareff here, who as usual attempted to drink his entire body weight in wine”
“Did he throw up on the carpet again?”
“He sure did”
“ Gross ”
