♡: welcome to my own the sims 4 generations challenge. everything here was randomized either by using random number generator, random color generator or picker wheels. this challenge requires most of the packs, so if you dont own any of the packs that are added to the rules, you can pick your own rule (for example, if you dont own journey to batuu and you have to go on vacation to batuu, you can choose a different vacation world). you also have to build a graveyard, it can be in the lot your sims live on or a different lot, but in the same city, you currently are on. ♡: KEY BEFORE WE START — HAVE TO: rules you have to follow — CAN: are the rules you can do, but you can also skip if you don't want to do certain things — CAN'T: are the things that you cannot do. if you accidentally do one of the forbidden things, you fail the whole challenge — COLOR THEME: these are the colors you have to use as primary colors in your sims' outfits and houses

GENERATION: 1 — your color theme is: green, pink and blue — you have to start the game in the fall season — your aspiration must be from the ‘food’ category — you have to enroll in university — must live in: copperdale for: 4 generations — you cant go on vacation in this generation — you have to have 3 children — you cant own a cat — you cant own a dog — you cant own a horse — your sim cant be an occult — you cant marry an occult — you have to have a wedding at a wedding venue

GENERATION: 2 — your color theme is: purple, mint & teal — your sim chosen dosent have to max any skills as a toddler — as a child, you have to fulfill the rambuctious scamp aspiration — your aspiration must be from the ‘popularity’ category — you have to enroll in university — you cant go on vacation — you have to have 4 children — you cant adopt — you cant marry an occult — you cant own a cat — you cant own a dog — you have to own a horse — you have to have a wedding at a wedding venue

GENERATION : 3 — your color theme is: teal, pink & purple/gray — as a child, you have to fulfill the whiz kid aspiration — your aspiration must be from the ‘wellness’ category (if you dont have spa day - 'location') — you have to max out a skill, which will be: herbalism — you cant go on vacation — you have to have 5 children — you can adopt — you can marry an occult — you have to own a cat — you cant own a dog — you cant own a horse (which means that the horse from the previous generation has to be moved to a separate household with your chosen sims siblings) — you have to enroll in university — you have to have a quiet wedding

GENERATION : 4 — this is the last generation where you will be living in copperdale — your color theme is: purple (again), green and mint — you have to max out at least 1 toddler skill — as a child, you have to fulfill the social butterfly aspiration — you have to fulfill an aspiration from the ‘location’ category — you have to go on vacation to: batuu — you have to enroll in university (as usual atp) — you have to have 3 children — you cant adopt — you cant marry an occult — you have to own a cat (can be from the previous generation) — you cant own a dog — you cant own a horse — you have to create a vet clinic/retail shop/restaurant (which will be open till the end, you cant sell it) — you have to have a wedding at a wedding venue

GENERATION : 5 — you have to live in: henford-on-bagley for next 4 generations (up till 8th generation) — your color theme is: purple (…) and blue — you have to work as an paranormal investigator (if you dont have the kit, you can choose a different freelance career) — you have to max out 2 skills: writing & handiness — as a child, you have to fulfill the social butterfly aspiration — you have to fulfill an aspiration from the ‘wellness’ category (if you don’t have spa day you have to do fortune) — you cant enroll in university — you cant go on vacation — you cant do gardening — you have to have 3 children — you cant adopt — you have to marry an occult — you cant own a cat — you have to own a dog — you have to own a horse — you have to complete a collection — you have to have a quiet wedding

GENERATION : 6 — your color theme is: green, pink and red — you have to max out 2 skills as a toddler — as a child you have to fulfill the wiz kid aspiration — you have to fulfill an aspiration from the ‘nature’ category — you can enroll in university (if you dont want to, you dont have to) — you can go on vacation to mt komorebi — you cant do: wellness and programming — you have to max out mixology — you have to have 5 kids — you can adopt — you have to become a werewolf — you have to marry an occult — you can own a cat — you can own a dog — you can own a horse — you can complete a new collection — you have to get to sixam — you have to befriend 4 magicians — you have to have a quiet wedding — you have to have a divorce

GENERATION : 7 — your color theme is: grey, red and mint — you have to max out 3 skills as a toddler — as a child you have to fulfill the artistic aspiration — you have to become a scout as a child — you have to fulfill an aspiration from the ‘animal’ category — you cant enroll in university — you cant go on vacation — you have to become an engineer - computer engineer branch — you have to max out painting — you cant do: riding — you have to have 1 kid — you can adopt — you can’t marry an occult — you can’t own a cat — you can own a dog — you can’t own a horse — you have to take part in the farming competition in henford-on-bagley — you have to get a money tree — you have to have a wedding at your house

GENERATION : 8 — your color theme is: peach, teal & light blue — you have to max out all skills as a toddler — as a child, you have to fulfill the social butterfly aspiration — you have to fulfill an aspiration from the ‘family’ category — you have to enroll in foxburg university — you cant go on vacation — you have to become a paranormal investigator, then quit the job and become a gardener - floral designer branch — you have to max out logic and handiness — you can’t do: any instrument related skills — you have to have 2 kids — you can adopt — you can’t become an occult — you can’t marry an occult — you have to visit the secret cave in oasis springs — you can own a cat — you have to own a dog — you have to own a horse — you have to prepare 20 perfect bottles of nectar — you have to have a wedding at a wedding venue in copperdale

GENERATION : 9 — you have to live in moonwood mill till the end — your color theme is: mint, yellow and blue — you can’t max out any skills as a toddler — as a child, you have to fulfill the artistic aspiration — you have to fulfill an aspiration from the ‘knowledge’ category — you can enroll in university — you can go on vacation to selvadorada — you have to become a law worker - private attorney branch — you can’t do: handiness — you have to become an at least 4 star celebrity — you have to have 3 kids — you can adopt — you can’t marry an occult — you have to own a cat — you cant own a dog — you cant own a horse — you have to plant a cowplant — you have to have a hedgehog (my first pet stuff) — you can’t have a wedding — you have to go on a date with 4 sims

GENERATION : 10 — your color theme is: grey, teal and blue — you have to max out 2 skills as a toddler — as a child, you have to fulfill the artistic aspiration — you have to fulfill an aspiration from the ‘nature’ category — you have to enroll in foxburg university — you have to go on vacation to granite falls — you have to max out rock climbing — you cant do: fitness — you have to be an educator - professor branch — you can’t interact with occult sims — you have to get married 3 times — you have to have 3 kids — you can’t marry an occult sim — you cant own a cat — you cant own a dog — you have to own a horse — you have to create a club — your first wedding has to be a quiet one — your second wedding has to be at a wedding venue in evergreen harbor — your last wedding has to be a home one

Fairytales Inspired Generations Challenge

This challenge purpuse is to make you think of the game differently and maybe explore all the functions and game play option without being stuck in the same circle of actions. This challenge is completely made up by myself, taking inspiration both by Generation Challenge and Legacy Challenge. Also, there are a lot of Disney themed challenge around and I don't want simply create a copy-paste version of Disney characters, so the whole thing is my own interpretation of Disney classics and traditional fairytales too. The goal is to make it through 10 generations with completely different personalities for each generation and a new challenge to complete with each set of children.

Every generation has a set of mini-challenges Ispired by a Disney character that you have to complete before you finish the generation. You have to complete at least 4 of the 5 before the original parent of the generation dies AND the heir grows into a young adult. If your heir is the first born you have less time to complete the challenges ahead.

Each generation is different from the previous one and to the entire personality of the children in it. The challenges may grow harder, or may grow easier. You DO NOT have to do the challenges in order. I will name every required expansion pack or game pack that you need to pass through the theme of the challenge.

Gameplay Setup

Your journey begins in Create a Sim (CAS). Here you begin making your sim. Do whatever you want, the only restrictions is that the founder should be a young adult female and the only sim in the household. Feel free to pick any traits you want, but remember genetics aren't the only thing passed down from generation from generation. You can set your sim's life expectation to LONG, so you have more time to do each task, if you want.

You can’t use FREEREAL ESTATE to obtain a better house for your sim. You should use the money you have to buy a cheap house or an empty lot. You can't use the story mod to create your sim: the founder must start with 0 ability and develop them from the beginning.

Gender/Blood Rules for the HEIR

First Born — The first born child is the heir.

Female Only — Females can only be heirs, unless there are no living female children.

Blood Relation — Direct descendant of the parents, unless there are no living blood relation children.

Basic Rules

No restarting after a bad event. If your HEIR deceased, you will pass to the next one in line following the above criteria to fix the unexpected events.

No cheats/mods that make give you an unfair advantage: don't fix your sim's mood with cheats and absolutely DON'T USE THE MOTHERLODE CHEAT AT ALL!

No bringing the dead back, you CAN plead the with the reaper though and have ghosts, but nothing else.

Anti-aging potion can only be used once per generation.

You can only have one played household in the world. You can add households in the world for friends, but not spouses.

The next generation starts when the first female child is born. You can do whatever you would like with the other children of the household (kids who aren't heirs).

You MAY NOT influence gender.

Any Sim that is abducted by aliens and becomes pregnant has a choice of keeping the child, but whatever your heir rules are may or may not become an heir.

1. Cinderella - Jillie Cinder

The founder generation has started with this sim named Jillie Cinder: she is a good-heated girl who is just escaped from a bad family situation and dreams for a fresh start.

Rules:

- Your CINDERELLA loves small animals, so she should have at least one animal related trait: Animal Enthusiast, Cat or Dog Lover. Traits comes from The Sims 4: Cottage Living and The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs.

- Your CINDERELLA must have the Good trait.

Task:

- Your CINDERELLA must reach Level 10 Painting: it's the easiest way to get money to support your family, because your sim can't have a job. ✅

- Your CINDERELLA must maximize her positive reputation: the highest level is Good. ✅ This comes with The Sims 4 Get Famous

Alternative: Friend to the World Life Goal

- Your CINDERELLA must take care of an animal from puppy to elder: this could be a cat, a dog or a chicken from The Sims 4: Cottage Living. If your animal dies before reaching the elder state, you must restart with another one.

- Your CINDERELLA must have at least two daughters. One of them should be Father Winter's daughter. Father Winter (Clement Frost) comes from The Sims 4: Seasons. ✅

- Your CINDERELLA daughters DON'T have the same father.

- Your CINDERELLA must maximize the Entrepreneur skill. This comes from The Sims 4: High School Years. Knitting Cross-stitch are useful to make easy money by selling creation in shop or online.

- Your CINDERELLA must marry a Sim who has a Political Career. This comes with The Sims 4: City Living.

2. Frozen - Elsa Frost

Rules:

- Your ELSA must have ”Father Winter’s Baby” listed in her traits panel: she is born from your CINDERELLA and Father Winter. ✅

- You ELSA must be the eldest daughter. She has a sister ANNA (who owns a Llama farm with her husband), who doesn't have the same father of ELSA. ANNA doesn't have the ”Father Winter’s Baby” listed in her traits panel. (You need The Sims 4: Seasons)

Traits:

- Your ELSA must have the Gloomy trait, while her sister ANNA must have the Cheerful trait.

- Ambitious or Overachiever (comes from The Sims 4: High School Years) are good choice for her traits.

Task:

- Your ELSA must become a Witch in her teen years and learn all the spells (this would be modified later). Yuo need The Sims 4: Realm of Magic.

- Your ELSA must had a troubled childhood and a bad reputation she must overcome.

- ELSA is a self-made woman, she can help in her mother's shop, but she must have a part-time job since her teen years. She must have a Overachiever trait (comes with The Sims 4: High School Years).

- ELSA must graduate in (at least) one of the following: History (Distinguished Degrees in Britechester) or Economics (Distinguished Degree in Foxbury). Elsa must maximize her Research and Debate skill, if she is admitted in Britechester she must join the The Debate Guild. This is available with The Sims 4: Discover University.

- ELSA career options are Civil Designer or politician. The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle and The Sims 4: City Living.

- Close Knit Lifestyle and/or Workaholic Lifestyle. This comes from The Sims 4: Snowy Escape.

3. Snow White - Blanca

Trait:

- She must have the Music Lover trait and be a Vegetarian.

Rules:

- Daughter of ANNA and her husband. She grow up in a Llama farm with her family. Has a troubled relationship with her parents, but deeply loves her aunt ELSA.

- She starts as human, but would be vampirized in her teens. Good Vampire Aspiration. The description of Snow-White as a “little daughter who was as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as ebony wood” made me think of vampire, so Snow-White will be a vampire. You need The Sims 4: Vampire.

Task:

- She dreams to be a singer and escape from the small farm she grown up in: maximize a musical ability (piano, guitar, violin, ecc.) and Singing. (The Sims 4: City Living)

- She must start her career singing and playing guitar for money in San Myshumo, so move her away when she became a young adult. (The Sims 4: City Living)

- At a some point she ended up in a bad relationship, but has a daughter, RAPUNZEL.

- She married an ambitious/evil vampire lady: the vampire lady is not RAPUNZEL mother, she is a step-mother.

- Dies before becoming an elder. Her daughter should be in her childhood/teen years.

4. Rapunzel - Ranya

Trait:

- Socially Awkward (comes with The Sims 4: High School Years) or Clumsy.

Rules:

- Raised by her vampire step-mother, that uses her as a source of blood.

- Unhappy childhood, dreams of the world outside, but she too scared to run away.

Task:

- She must be a programmer and maximize the programming skill.

- Indoorsy Lifestyle. This comes from The Sims 4: Snowy Escape.

- married to a werewolf

- Booklover trait

- Maximize writing skill

6. Red Riding Hood - Rosette

- daughter of a werewolf (you need The Sims 4: Werewolves)

Finally took a picture with (almost) all the current Miele-Bower family members. Here you can see three generations! In he centre we have the grandparents (GEN 7), Brie and Michael, surrounded by their daughters (GEN 8) and nephews. Carol, the eldest, has married Daniel and has three children (GEN 9): Roland, who is now a teen, and the twins Rupert and Reginald. They live in Newcrest, but they’ll probably come back to Henford-on-Bagley once Roland leaves home. Becky, the middle child, is still married to Evie Delgato and they live a happy life in Sulani. Stormy is the youngest daughter, she is a spellcaster and is studying magic in Glimmerbrook. Will she have any child of her own? Time will tell!

PS: Cody and his older stepsister Mariko are missing. They are cousins of Carol, Becky and Stormy, but they barely see them.
