Reccer says: "Thull took our hearts from us, so let's rip hers out" lives in my head rent free and for that line alone, this fic is absolutely amazing. It's also just another brilliant look into what could have happened if the fight with Paragon's Call had gone worse.

Wait a minute…..team Wildemount might not find anything of Ludinus’s prior research in Molaesmyr. It may have already been taken!

‼️Nine Eyes of Lucien Spoilers‼️

In the Nine Eyes book, Vess is having a chat with Lucien about the Tombtakers’ previous jobs and hires. Lucien had previously brought up a past job in Molaesmyr. And that they had been tasked to retrieve something and successfully delivered back to their benefactor. And Lucien does use he/him pronouns in reference to this individual. (And then Lucien doesn’t elaborate cuz Vess was being a snob)

I had originally thought that this could have been Ludinus when I read this but there wasn’t much to go on. Other than Ludinus was known to be from there and Vess was very interested in the job details. Now I’m pretty convinced the Tombtakers were hired by Ludinus to recover things either of his or relics he knew were still there.

So now I’m wondering if team Wildemount is going to find anything. Perhaps only half of the research? Or just the research but relics mentioned in it will be gone. Lucien and the TT did specifically mention Caes Mosor. So perhaps team Wildemount will find things in the Gildhollow Tower but the evidence in Caes Mosor, of what caused it all, is going to be missing!

It’s just very interesting that the book would make several references to this job and then we never learn what they took and who for. So I feel like it was a small clue into what’s going on right now! It’s also possible it’s not and it was just to show how skilled the TT were. But lowkey hoping that this all connects!
