Nope, you aren’t insane, the themes are extremely similar.

In fact, I probably am the insane one for spending an hour on this music without even knowing how to use Audacity and half an hour doing the logo...

Couldn’t do the whole song cause the Wipeout Theme is a bit irregular in tempo the further it goes, neither did I try to match the tones better (tho the tone in Wipeout changed a bit cause I accelerated it to match the Tempo in the Warriors of Hope Battle Theme).

Chapter Twenty-nine: “Welcome to my organisation Destitute and Impoverished Centre for safe Escape – DICE! And that’s the truth.”

I tilted my head to one side. Kaede said it best – “I am a liar but not everything I say is a lie, you know?”

Shuichi wrapped his arms around me, laid his head on my chest and, although his words were muffled by my plaid scarf and white coat, said, “I know, Kokichi. I… know that now.” We were quiet for a moment and then he went on, “The truth is that I found out about and then dismissed that information long before I ever got to know you – the real you not the you hidden behind all those lies.” He raised his head only to rest it against mine, breathing the same air as me. I instinctually slipped my arms around his waist in a loose hold. “I’m sorry for doubting you.”

My eyes burned with tears but I pretended they didn’t. “It’s whatever, Shumai,” I lied, “the internet lies so I guess I’ll let you off just this once. Be glad! For I, Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Leader of Evil, have spared your life! See how truly generous I am! Nee-heehee!”

“Thank you.”

His forehead was warm against mine, his breath dusted my cheeks with red, and his eyes filled my vision as he looked directly into my eyes. Looking into their shifting hues of grey, green and yellow felt like falling into a volcano, running a marathon and coming home all at once. I felt hot and cold, full of oxygen and breathless, shaken apart and frozen. I felt everything and nothing.

He was so close. My stomach swooped and my heart beat out of my chest. I wanted to kiss him. All it would take was for me to lean my chin forward and –

I coughed and cleared my throat once, twice, thrice. He smirked as if he knew what he was doing to me.
