“I thought I told you to take it easy; today is your day off, you shouldn’t be working,” Arthur scolded.

      ❛   I hurt my...foot on stage,   ❜       Lorenzo grumbled, cradling his ankle with one hand, which was perched up while he waited for someone to bring him bandages. It was just a sprain, nothing serious. But it had put Lorenzo in quite a shitty mood, so he was quick to be one to make it appear much worse.

     ❛   Since when are you so nosy ?   ❜       he said, obviously irritable when hurt --- moreso than normal, anyways --- and giving Roderich an annoyed look.

“Ah, Roderich, I’ve been meaning to speak with you.” Lai Kit gently tapped the man’s arm to get his attention as he was about to pass by her. She had intended to rest for only a few minutes before continuing her rehearsal session, but seeing as Roderich was here she might as well talk to him now rather than waste time trying to hunt him down later. “I need to choreograph a new program, and for that I need new music as well. When would you be free to discuss writing a new piece?”

The young girl stood there awkwardly. Mr. Kirkland just left her and Mr. Edelstein alone now. She looked a bit messy, her long, curly, dark auburn hair was wild, and despite the dropping temperatures outside she was barefoot. She kicked at the floor, looking down at her feet with a slight frown on her face.

After a few moments she looked up at the gentleman before her, her eyes wide and olive green. “So... what do you want me to do now?” Might as well make herself useful if she wanted to stay here.
