I think what I really like about Bruce's sacrifice is that it was two-fold; he wasn't just going without food and loudly declaring how he's rationing for the children's sake -- he rations for them to save their physical wellbeing, and then he hides the rationing to preserve their mental and emotional wellbeing too.

Because they can't do anything about the situation, even if they do know about it. So Bruce spares them that, and suffers mentally and physically alone (except for Clark).

I feel like the batkids would have a deep sense of guilt after bruce is taken to the medical Wong for being malnourished way more than the others but Clark would feel even worse since he just didn't need to eat but couldn't do anything to help bruce

I maintain that Bruce had zero idea Clark was coming until he got into the kitchen (Slade fucked the paranoia about checking the sensors out of him) but then when he saw Tim’s face, he knew what was happening pretty quickly. And he wasn’t gonna complain!

Tim is an evil genius. He got a successful contract with Slade AND he finally got Bruce and Clark together.

Omg, just read the new fic and it is so good!

I can just imagine Tim downstairs hearing Bruce yelling as he is getting his back (lovingly) blown out and grinning triumphantly. This plan has gone way better than he ever could have hoped! Not only did Bruce get a full 8 hours last night, but now he has someone to rail him into a halfway healthy sleep schedule! (and he didn't even have to pay extra for it!!) Only downside is now that they are together, they are going to be going at it like rabbits at all times of the day. Whelp, time to invest in those high tech noise canceling headphones he has been eyeing for a while...

I just wanted to let u know that I tried drinking wine while writing and it has elevated my experience to a level I didn’t know was possible.

It's truly an experience, I'll give it that. I have the best ideas after 1-2 glasses of wine, I think because you're less willing to judge yourself or be self-conscious. Especially for horny stuff.

That being said, I have terrible concentration after drinking. I'm better off doing a rough outline and coming back the next day.
