Holding Zevlor (and perhaps catching him, emotionally)

I was thinking about whether he’d prefer to be big spoon or small spoon and then my thoughts spiraled, so this is less about spooning and more about keeping him save, allowing him to relax and restoring parts of his faith in a way or another.

I think he would honestly just enjoy the warmth and having you close.

He wouldn’t care much whether he’s the small of big spoon, he loves holding you and loves being held by you. If you want him to hold him he will gladly do it but every time you end up holding him he spills over like a full glass that keeps on getting filled more and more even though it obviously surpassed the limit long ago.

Small drops of emotions spilling over his surface until more and more waves flow through the cracks in the strong façade he keeps up daily as a competent and caring leader. He genuinely loves being held by you, feeling comfortable and safe.

He yearns for that feeling safety you give to him, being able to relax, be a little at peace.

As a former Hellrider soldier he had always been the one doing the protecting, and when he led the refugees into safety he did not retire from that duty. You had already helped him lessen the burden on his shoulders tremendously, stopping the druids from their ritual, exposing Kagha’s intentions, bringing back Halsin, getting rid of the goblins, saving him from that mind flayer pod—it was never your duty to save and aid him and yet you had always done so.

He had always been your choice. You always chose to protect him. And you succeeded each time.

There were so many moments in these past months in which he thought that his time was over, that all hope was lost for him and his people. And every time he was about to give up, you appeared like a godsent light to be his saviour.

He was no man of strong faith—not anymore, but you made him believe that perhaps fate sent an angel his way,

Perhaps not all faith was lost on him.

Splatoon: for dummies (directed towards a very special dummy)

I just started playing like a week ago but I've been speed running shit so feel free to correct me

Content/Trigger warnings: mentions shooting

Basically there's three Splatoons

Splatoon 1 (which just got shut down for good)

Splatoon 2 (the one I play)

And Splatoon 3

You are an inkling. You can customize your looks aswell. The clothes you choose have certain powerups that offer you advantages in battle.

Splatoon is a third person shooting game, but there are many things you can do. I'll explain them here.

You can buy different weapons but they all secrete coloured ink

One, Turf wars: This is where you can play with other people. In Splatoon 2, it's two teams of four (eight people in total), who are split by ink color. Your objective is to ink the most area of the map, along with being able to kill off the other team (and they can do the same in return), however you respawn after a few moments. These rounds are usually 3 minutes long.

Salmon runs: basically child labor where an old man forces you and 0-3 other players to go out and risk your life to kill salmonoids (an enemy) so he can profit in getting some golden eggs. He also cuts your pay when you die because he's a dick. His name is Grizz. If you die, a teammate has to shoot you with ink to revive you. There's like seven bosses and they're all fucking dicks I hate them so much

Story: basically, one of the squid sisters (popular idols), named Marie sends you out to risk your life in order to save the zapfish (creatures that power Inkopolis--which is the place in which Splatoon takes place) which have been stolen by enemies known as octarians. I don't like octarians either.

You go through different levels to save the Zapfish, there are smaller enemies that are basically tentacles (Chiyo-i know you'll see this. Remind me what they're called please)

However, the enemy/boss I was reffering to is in the story and it’s called a octoseeker. It can seek out your location by you moving, shooting ink, or killing a smaller enemy. I hate them so much.

There is also an expansion in Splatoon 2 which is kinda like the story I assume, it's called Octo Expansion Pack. (I'm saving up for it)

This is Pearl. She's an inkling I believe. She's Marina's girlfriend (it ain't exactly cannon but it is, Nintendo just won't say it)

Running on 2-3 hrs of sleep a night will literally make you feel like you’re going fucking crazy. Today I worked a morning shift, ran important errands, went to target, got Wendy’s, and I’m about to clean my room and hopefully HOPEFULLY write more.

I’m also trying to force myself not to take a nap in the afternoon so my body can be really tired at night and sleep at a normal time. Send a prayer cause Nic feels like she’s delirious.
