Diablo 4 Followers Confined to Rpg Game’s Campaign, for Now
Tumblr media
While some may reel at the idea of Diablo 4 followers, like them or loathe them, the (un)helpful companions have become a staple part of the action RPG game‘s combat. I asked Blizzard what its plans are for aides in Diablo 4, and while they didn’t say too much, it looks like followers may join the roster at some point. Speaking to lead class designer Adam Z. Jackson in the wake of the Diablo 4 gameplay preview, I asked whether or not the follower system would be more akin to that of Diablo 2 or Diablo 3 – if there was one at all. For those unaware, in Diablo 2 you would hire followers to descend on the gates of hell with you, but when they were killed you had to rehire them with cold hard cash. A new follower appeared in each zone, meaning some were absolutely better than others – the Lut Gholein polearm warrior remains at the bottom of the list, don’t worry. This evolved in Diablo 3, where instead of hiring mercenaries you acquired three different companions during the story campaign. You had the Scoundrel, Sorceress, and Templar, who represented ranged DPS, tank, and magic user respectively. In my Diablo 4 adventure I only encountered helpful NPCs who stuck around for a dungeon or two then rode of into the sunset. When I asked Jackson how the game’s follower function will work, they stated “for the launch version of the game we do have some places in the story in particular where you will have certain named NPCs following you and helping you out as you figure out what Lilith is doing in the world. “We don’t have anything to announce about the Diablo 2-type follower that you hire – we’re sticking it to the campaign for now.” Emphasis on the for now. With a wry smile they continue “stay tuned, we may have something in the future to announce but no promises.” This immediately prompted a response from dungeon producer Ash Sweetring, who channelled her inner Mr. Burns with an ‘interesting’ hand motion in the background. Now that’s what I call sus. If any iteration of the follower system makes it into Diablo 4, I would rather it was the Diablo 2-style hired gun instead of omnipresent companions. I liked the vast array of different abilities followers brought to the table in Diablo 2 (except Lut Gholein polearm man) and would love to see this innovated upon. It opens up yet more space for different builds, as well as awesome demon-slaying ability chains. For now, though, you may want to read up on the Diablo 4 classes, as it’s them we’ll be playing as primarily. In a separate interview with game director Joe Shely, however, it was implied that this roster may expand – after all, nothing is eternal in Sanctuary. Read the full article

hey bae! i just started following you and i was wondering what haikyu characters you DONT write and haikyu characters you love writing for the most?
hey love!! thank u sm for this ask (and the follow ily)<333 to answer your question:
Tumblr media
characters i love writing for/would love to:
kenma- bc im self-indulgent like that😌 there’s not enough yandere kenma content for me so i have loads of ideas i wanna write for him (plus he’s my no. 1 fave in hq so-)
sakusa- so much potential for this character! i already have drafts of him sitting in my google docs, begging to be finished. he’s easy enoug to write as a yandere plus the thought of him obsessed and possessive of you and only you makes me swoon.
suna- ive been wanting to write a chill, stalky type of yandere and he’s the ideal man for it. nothing too intense, but something that gives him the uncharacteristic thrill of watching you with you knowing.
matsukawa- i already have drafts for him too. HE HAS TO BE SWEETR. thats my rule for myself. hes one of my top faves and i want more twisted content for him too<3
tendou- unsettling, creepy, and a sad background for poor friendships perfect for unhealthy obseessive relationships, plus he’s handsome in my eyes anyways so there’s definitely gonna be more writings for him in the future.
characters i dont/would not write for:
the whole karasuno team except for tsukki- just no. i dont know why. they just dont do it for me, just tsukki for some reason. i literally cant see them that way. i might consider yams for the fun of it but i dont think i will soon.
lev haiba or the rest of nekoma team except for kenma and kuroo-  i will not get him involved with my twisted fuckery thank you very much. (as much as i love him i cant see him that way)
the managers- im not into girls, so i wont be writing for them.
that’s all i can think of right now.

the heat of your mouth like honey where it curls around the choked prayer, given up half-vain, half-madly to a god who, like the serpents, does not have ears and instead knows the world with the eyes, with the tongue — after, the heat of this same mouth on my thighs climbing higher, higher like a fern unfurling its’ splendours until between us only the moon’s horns find lodging light cleaving fevers like a clasping of hands over dinner, over bedsheets that have been stained sweetred with a dark wine pressed from passions unnameable o; my Death, my earth, my home let me lose myself in you for a time, let me haven in same breaths, same pulses, our hearts as wild birds in their gardens the vines now knotting, confounding until the forest of you and the holt of myself have been kissed to one soil-body, rendered inseparable

Back in 2019 when I was in Bombay trying to find Suzette around Nariman point I stumbled across Swati Snacks. I only then realised the grandeur and pedigree it had as a restaurant with all stories running in my head of rich textile magnates frequenting Bombay in need of Swati Snacks. I went to the one in Ahmedabad running with some work I decided to go there with my father. The newer place just off of SG highway was close and we decided to drop by. As we took a turn the change in real estate was apparent and… rich. It was located in this really modern block type architecture looking complex which reminded me of the building modernist is in. The sign board, more like a placard is difficult to see if you are driving by, it looks very modern, like the one Osteria Francescana has. Do not let the per capita Porsches that are lined up outside scare you, the moment you walk in Swati Snacks you are just pulled into two different direction which is modern minimalist, but it somehow still carried that essence and feel of a canteen from 1980s. Those old school canteens or coffee houses, The architecture of it, lots of clean glass panes and comfortable metal seatings. Still carrying the Gujarati hospitality where I was asked if Garlic and onion is okay because Shravan had started. Regardless to say the food was amazing, super simple and delicious all around. Clean taste. The baked khichdi was a saat dana ni khichdi with dahi and topped with a ridiculously generous amount of sweet crispy fried onion was my favourite. The ragda patties, were serendipitous little things which I savoured with onions and tangy sweet date chutney. The panki had this sweetr fermenty flavour cooked between banana leaf felt like eating a silk saree, it was great and I fell in love with the chillies doused with corriander powder and black salt that they gave with it. In all, the food there was good of course. Like an upscale classic Gujarati snackery. The flavours do not overwhelm your pallete. Live-in Relationships in Urban India: "Not a Social Stigma Anymore", SweetRing Survey
NEW DELHI, Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- It's been two years since the Supreme Court of India ruled that a live-in relationship in India is "an acceptable norm" and live-in partners can be given equal rights as those to a legally married couple. Since then, live-in relationships have become more acceptable and prevalent. SweetRing, a popular dating app carried out a survey asking its users about their views on live-in relationships. It was observed from the survey that 68% of people surveyed wouldn't mind having a live-in relationship with their partners before getting married. Moreover, 64% think that a couple should move in together within the first 6 months of dating. This change can be attributed to youngsters in India moving out of their houses and living alone in new cities for better work opportunities and lifestyle.
The in-app survey was conducted over 3,500 respondents across 5 major cities in India (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Gujarat, and Chandigarh). Results show that there isn't much difference between the outlook of male and female users, 70% of male and 65% of female respondents agree that it is important to move-in together before getting married. 75% the users believe moving in together would allow them to understand each other's lifestyle and habits better. The aspect on which men and women had a different outlook was regarding the living expenses. While 64% men think that they should spend more, a whopping 71% of women believe in sharing the expenses equally.
Survey results also hint that people in live-in relationships still face apprehensions, related to the fear of how the society would judge their relationship. When users were asked how would they react if their friend is in a live-in relationship; 58% responded that they would be neutral as it's a personal matter. This shows that even though respondents have a fear of being judged, they still respect the personal space of others.
Above results clearly indicate that while more and more people want to have a live-in relationship in order to understand their partners better and strengthen their relationship; the concern of the societal pressure makes them question their decision. It can be inferred that if people, especially families and elders of the house express an acceptance towards live-in relationships; more couples would choose to be in one before getting married.

SweetRing: With a strong desire for happiness, Malaysian women take the initiative in texting two men per day on average
Women who own Android phones are more willing to do so than their iPhone counterparts
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- What do single women think of dating apps? According to SweetRing's survey conducted among Malaysian females who are users of their dating app, those who take the initiative in texting their male peers or asking them questions fall within the 23-28 age range, and they tend to send such messages to two men a day on average, fewer than the average of three in Taiwan or four in Hong Kong. Eighty percent of the Android phone users said they are among those who proactively reach out to men, and they are more willing to do so than iPhone users. In addition, women with higher annual salaries were found more willing to take the initiative in looking for love.
When comparing the profiles of the women who replied to the survey, SweetRing found that the higher their monthly income, the more they are willing to take the initiative in finding the right person. Women with monthly salaries above 7,000 ringgits take the initiative in chatting with at least five men a day on average while those pulling down between 5,000 and 7,000 ringgits keep the average to three. Those with the salary range from 3,000 to 5,000 ringgits bring it even lower, limiting their outreach to one or two men per day. By contrast, those who generally never take the initiative earn only 2,000 ringgits each month. The conclusion is that women who can change their mindset and adopt a more positive and optimistic attitude towards life will be more likely to succeed not only in the arena of love but also in the workplace.
