hi I have thoughts to implement to my au maybe sorta I just thought the idea was cool. The Zonai were a Minish Tribe that were established in the Faron region when descending down from the skies

The Zonai were architecturally advanced as their structures and monuments were massive compared to their small size. It was at a point lead to believe that Hylians from a long ago past created those structures that are in the Faron region. Zonai don’t have a third eye in this, only highly respected Zonai would create these headpieces in form of a third eye. It is only a wild coincidence that the Sheikah and Zonai use eye symbols. However the Zonai in my au use more hand symbolism as they connect it more to into their architectural history and skills.

The Zonai established their own society in Faron, being the first to create a monarchy way before Hyrule was established to have a kingdom. That is the Zonai tribe of the south region, as a handful of the Zonai started to embark to the upper north side of Hyrule. There were two siblings in hopes to create their own society just like their cousins, Rauru and Mineru. They first settled in the upper north of the Woodland Region now known as the Thyphlo Ruins, until the discovery of the Great Lord Deku Tree in the Deku Woods (this is before the Koroks appeared). Rauru and Mineru decided to focus on the magic of the forest with the help of the Lord Deku Tree. Making Rauru hone the power of light and Mineru the power of spirit.

With these powers they have and their wisdom through experimentation and with Lord Deku Tree's blessing, was the creation of the Moth Fairy. Healing Fairies that transformed into Moth Fairies in their pupa stage. Who absorb the wisdom and story of the Zonai. As the Zonai wanted to keep their traditions alive the moth fairies were there as to archive their stories.

This magic came in handy when a threat of evil emerged in Hyrule as the Master Sword only being a few centuries old. And the incarnate of Light in a need of help to stop this force of evil from consuming Hyrule into darkness. The Zonai with their powers of magic that were obtained through the forest, gifted the Master Sword an enchantment to strengthen the sword and vanish the evil from Hyrule.

As centuries and many millennia passed by and the threat of evil being handled by child of light and courageous hero. Zonai tradition slowly diminished as also the Minish started to expand across Hyrule. The Zonai culture and tradition slowly faded as new cultures and traditions formed reestablishing as the Woodland tribe. People from Hyrule slowly forgetting about the Minish tribe. Leaving only the Moth Fairies to be the only remnants to know the origin of the Minish. The Zonai from the Faron region never really vanished however just like their Woodland cousins they became the Faron tribe as many things changed. However they had it slightly unlucky as not a lot of Moth Fairies know much for their history aside from the origin. Leaving many things behind and to be left a mystery.

The Master Sword's enchantment slowly diminished mostly as the threat of evil came back in long periods of time. In the current stage the Master Sword is weak due to the absence of maintenance and the enchantment is completely gone. The Master Sword has slowly become a rusted sword from a legend that is 10 thousand years old

So, I thought I’d probably be best to just make a pinned post with some info so I’m not just a void who throws art a a wall. (I’m probably gonna edit as things change) But here we go:

I’m 22 years old

I use they/them pronouns, I’m fine with he/him too. I’d call myself nonbinary or even agender, leaning towards the masc side. It’s a struggle

Additionally to that, I am ace and my romantic attraction is 🤷🏼. I like androgyny and femininity if that says anything lmao

I have a hypermobilty condition, thus, my physical health is very inconsistent. Sometimes I feel fine for weeks, sometimes I can barely move my arms. Luckily, I don’t dislocate easily, I mostly get joint pain, pinched nerves, random bruises and badly healing wounds. Additionally, I seem to have a mild variant of long covid, which is making my lungs weak, so sometimes physical activities winds me badly even though it’s not hard work.

I am autistic and only found out around 2 years ago, thus, school burned me out! I was bullied by my teachers and they ignored all the signs of a struggling student, so I developed bad social anxiety (added by other events with former friends and general genetics probably). I took a year off of art to focus on getting a better mindset, and I guess I’ve been back since this year.

I am a clumsy and unlucky person, that’s why I say I am like Xie Lian a lot (send me a Hua Cheng)

I like k-pop. Currently, I like BTS, TXT, SKZ, LE SSERAFIM, New Jeans, Red Velvet and SHINee.

I write my own stories and am working on an AU that includes many fantastical being, though I am not entirely sure if that’s ever gonna see the light of day bc I don’t see anyone caring about my writing lol (it already has 137.000 words I’m not even joking it’s not funny, why am I writing this)

I’m sure I’ll post more of my OC’s when I find the time. My favorite is Harumi, he’s the main character in the fantastic beings AU, as a werewolf

I am so sorry my humor is super trauma based, bare with me it’s okay to laugh at my pain, it’s how I process, I swear

My favorite food is anything indian (especially aloo mutter, I bathe in that), pizza (only the one I make), and (red) thai curry.

That’s the only thing that sets me apart from Xie Lian, I eventually did learn how to cook and apparently people like my food!! (I add cinnamon and chili to everything, maybe that’s the key?)

I love building lego and organizing things by category (why I didn’t get diagnosed with asd is beyond me, I’ve always been like that)

I mostly draw on an Ipad with procreate, but I wanna get into watercolor and copics too, I just feel like I’m wasting the suff when things don’t turn out how I wanted them to be

I am horrible at texting and get anxious over it

I had another account here I was running for years, but I was in a pretty icky fandom and didn’t want to associate with the reputation that came with it, thus, I left. I am not the stupid, hurt and depressed teenager I was anymore, and that’s great!

I am german, though, I speak English so much I might as well be a native speaker

Settlements in the Legend of Zelda game series

This is based off human (hylian, gerudo, sheikah, and other human ethnicities) and [total - all sentient lifeforms including goron, zora, picori, etc] - towns and villages. Because of the nature of the games I am defining settlements primarily as communities and/or societies. This is to include places such as Zora's domain, or the Kikwi, which don't have a traditional house-village structure.

This is based on the canonical, mainline games.

Things I am not counting: lone houses - such as the witch hut, or a stable (sorry lon lon ranch)

Settlements in places outside of hyrule (dark world, lorule, holdurum, etc etc)

Hyrule castle itself unless it is surrounded by a town, in which case I will count the town

temples

settlements that have been abandoned, or are discussed but are not part of the game/hyrule proper (such as wayaway from wind waker)

now if we take note, the vast majority of games include a hyrule where there's only 1-3 human settlements. it is ironically the games set later on in the timeline, botw and tloz1&2 that have the most human or total settlements.

it fluctuates a lot though, and i don't think we can dismiss sentient, non-human settlements because i feel like the existence of other sentient beings, and the presence of the goddesses creates a culture in tloz universe where hylians (and humans in general) aren't the natural "owners" of the land. they have no more dominion over the land than necessarily any other species, and as such land that isn't being exploited or used for hylian benefit isn't considered unused land that's up for grabs. there's so many hyrule fields and desserts and wild or natural spaces even in the pre-apoc hyrules. there's very few cities or wide, urban spaces because tloz society doesn't function in that manner, and urban or capitalist development isn't a real measurement for progress.

given that, the hero of hyrule doesn't live in an hellish, desolate wasteland. he has the most human settlements in the whole series and the second most overall settlements. like with botw his hyrule has many towns spread out over a wide expanse of wild land. there's ruins and monsters but thay's typical of a zelda game. and that's not only a perfectly valid lifestle, it's an ideal way of settlement, especially within the loz universe. so like maybe chill out about dunking on him, he can't help it that his games are hard

With Dinnral, the gorons and rito view her very highly.

The Gorons refer to her as Mother Earth, as their legends spoke of her creating the land of Hyrule. Before she finished her job, she shed tears on the ground of Death Mountain, and the first Gorons emerged from the ground.

With the Rito, she is the spirit of wind who granted the Rito the ability to fly. The legend goes that a courageous young Rito must climb her and extract a scale off her body, granting Rito the ability to fly.

Farosh is viewed very differently by Gerudo, Southern Hylians, and Minish

The Gerudo see her as a symbol of strength; in many of their illustrations, her appearance takes the form of lightning. This is because Farosh is a speedy dragon, and none of the Gerudo have ever seen her up close. The legends go that Farosh blesses future leaders with her ability to cast lightning like Farosh. Her horn is also a symbol of power.

South Hylians perceive Farosh as a terrifying creature, far more terrifying than any monster. In their legends, it is said that Farosh stalks the jungle in the dead of night, causing fright for anyone who dares to dwell deep into the jungle. Only her piercing red eyes are seen. South Hylians don’t like swimming in deep water lakes as Farosh could be taking a swim, making the water unsafe. These stories are told to children to stay away from Faron's dense jungle and rivers.

Finally, the Minish has a strong connection to Farosh; the legends speak of her as she once took the form of a Minish before transforming into a dragon. It is said she is the root of all forest magic of Hyrule, along with the creation of the Monsters that live across Hyrule. The Minish see her as the source of life and magic.

Now Nayrda is viewed only by Zoras (maybe Hylians also).

Naydra is a symbol of elegance and royalty to the Zora. Legend says that Zoras viewed her as a monarch and followed her wherever she went (Like on rivers or the ocean). Eventually, the Zoras created their monarchy and viewed Naydra as a divine being. Even encountering her, the Zora considers it a fortune coming your way.

Hylians, aside from the Hylians in the south, don't really view these dragons as nothing but mythical beings. However, they listen to the legends the other races have of the dragons and go and explore to see them for themselves. Many omit the Hylians to do so, especially when the dragons inhabit places that are either hard to reach or an increase of monsters in that area.

Anywayz Tarú’s love language (Pre and Post)

(Pre) Since Tarú and Ganondorf have a (VERY) long-distance relationship. They only saw each other once every month or two, so they would send each other letters. Ganondorf would write pages upon pages of his daily activities and say how much he misses Tarú. Tarú keeps his letters in a box, also Tarú isn’t much about writing words (just like their dad). So Tarú mails Ganondorf back stone slabs of illustration drawings. They are usually scenery drawings but mostly drawings of Ganondorf. Ganondorf loves Tarú’s illustrations and frames his favorite ones on his room.

(Post) Tarú is still the same even if he’s more serious than before. Tarú does mostly landscape illustrations, it actually eases their mind off any terrible thought he’s got going on. Yunobo likes his father’s pieces and likes to look through his archive when Tarú is not around. Ganondorf is mostly taken by surprise that Tarú still draws him even after all these years Ganondorf has been gone presumed dead.

Hi…so dragons in my au

Im still thinking what kind of roll I would give to the dragon girlies I’ll have to think abt it carefully. I think more than a year ago I redesigned the dragons for my au, but now that I have a solid design of the Golden Goddesses I decided to go back to my old au designs and revamp them.

So in my LF au but also my GG au the Golden Goddesses in a last ditch effort they become dragons and leave behind the triforce. Their names have been altered and changed by the course of time so that is why their dragon counterparts have different names from their original form.

So Nayru -> Naydra, Farore -> Farosh, Din -> Dinnral

Now to their designs (tee hee <3) if u already have seen my designs of the Golden Girlies u already know I’ll implement their race heavily on to their dragon designs. Along w some other stuff

Let start w Farosh

She’s a Minish! Tbh she would probably be the “closest” one to the canon designs. But I do have a few ref ideas I would like to implement to her dragon design. Red Ruffed Lemurs for head shape and also the eyes ❤️(and maybe fur also) and having a slim reptilian body. She’s the simplest out of the two but that is mostly cause I have a clear idea of her.

Ok now to Dinnral

Me kicking my feet thinking abt drawing a goron dragon tee hee ❤️ Back when I was drawing Din I used pics of tigers and boars for her general design. For her dragon form i decided to go the traditional eastern dragon route. So I’ll stick to that now adding eastern dragons into the mix :]

OK FINALLY NAYDRA

She’s going to be the unique one out of the bunch as the other two would fly constantly. Naydra will mostly stick to the water regions of Hyrule and occasionally go on the cold snowy mountains of Lanayru. I’ll go w a salamander/axolotl approach to her design, and just to be freaky w it I’ll give her human-like teeth like those types of fishes in replacement of dragon teeth

hmm considering adding Nejirons to my au

Nejirons are the boogey man of Gorons, they look like a goron from the back, and have a foul smell of burning iron (changing the smell of gunpower they actually have to that), their arms and legs are very slim.

They live in pretty deep cave systems that not even Gorons dare to go dwell further. In their logic it is mostly to not torment dormant Dodongos or a pack of Lizalfos to hunt you down in an underground maze.

Ancient Gorons used to live along with these "monsters" a long time ago, Nejirons would be most active during the night and stalk Gorons, specifically Goron children. A Goron child being left alone in the night would be a recipe of disaster, Nejirons mimicking appearing of a Goron would trick a child to get close to it . Elders would warn the children of the Nejirons and to stay close to their families.

After Gorons moved to the surface and established present Goron City, the Nejirons stayed behind never to be seen again by a Goron or Non-Goron ever. But the elders did not let the legend of the Nejiron die even if they did not exist in the surface, it was to keep children safe and persuade them to stay close to their kin

Skall throughout her time living in the Hebra mountains and food being scarce. She adapted herself eating raw meat, raw fish is her favorite type of meat to eat in the Hebra mountains. Its been a long time since she’s eaten something that is cooked and tasty.

However the Hebra mountains were harsh towards her and she ultimately had to eat Lynel and other monster meat in order to survive.

Even if she was isolated for 10 years in that region, when returning back to the group she was more than happy to socialize. She missed that even though in her younger days she was kept to herself and was pretty quiet.

I guess I’ll also explain the reason why she banished to the Hebra mountains was due to her broken pride (and beak) on failing to get back control of Vah Medoh. It gave her an irrational fear, that if she were to return to Rito Village, she might be pushed to fight Vah Medoh again.

(Pre-calamity) Skall in her younger days had a hard time with the elders as being a Rito Warrior was exclusively a male Rito thing. But when Skall started to transition as a girl she was held back by the Rito Elder, however Revali helped her push through. Skall feels a little adamant as she feels Revali didn’t help her enough to be next Rito Warrior and Champion in line. Revali did push her back a bit, but mostly because Skall was hard headed that her teenage-self was better than the old man Revali. (Wow I wonder where she learned that from <3) Revali just wanted her to grow out of that phase.

(Ok back to Post-Calamity) Skall likes to pester Tarú. At best just make a few snarky comments and in return Tarú just grunts at her.

Skall does her best to protect Nabooru and especially Riju. Skall feels pretty guilty not being there for Nabooru when she gave birth to Riju as Skall promised to her to take care of her. But due to her incident with Vah Medoh she never left the mountains. 10 years later seeing how much Riju has grown she has sword to Nabooru to take care of both of them.

Skall loves that she’s now the mentor and is teaching the kids how to use the bow. Especially with Teba.
