Re: non-gory horror movies, I feel like Alien is actually a pretty good contender. The gore is mostly implied or offscreen, except for the one notorious scene with the chestburster. I’m also very squeamish about gore but Alien is one of my favorite movies (it probably helps that it’s ALSO one of my husband’s favorites, so he filled me in on all the extra lore and behind-the-scenes details).

...I fully spaced on those as well, I love Alien and Aliens both. I like when Sigourney Weaver. There's a cat sometimes. Lance Henriksen is there. Xenomorphs are sexy. I also liked Prometheus! It did suck but I enjoyed it.

And I forgot the 2010 Wolfman, the one with Anthony Hopkins. And Bram Stoker's Dracula! And Van Helsing! Granted, that one's barely a horror movie, but also it's perfect and I love it.

Then there's, like, classic Western horror flicks, Hammers and William Castle and so on, but I feel like that's genuinely a different post.

Today. I had therapy session, so you know. It was a few tears and a cracked voice but still. Harder I cried a few days ago but I don't remember exactly.

I don't have one. At the moment I'm working with my therapist and coach to not to worry about it. The "dream job" is giving too much pressure to my already pressured life. Just today my therapist told me that she sees how unrealistic high expectations I have to myself

Thanks to @toku-fangirl-2015 who informed me:  This is one of the monsters from Kamen Rider X..the evil organization was called G.O.D. and you can see the logo on his belt (looks like GOD but also a face, it’s a v clever logo)

Thank you for the ask! :D From my documents, here's a rough idea I wrote down for a ficlet where Ankh and Sieg interact:

Ankh finds Sieg lounging on his bed/couch and is livid. Who the hell is this guy? Where did he come from? And where are these feathers coming from??

“I found this little spot, and thought it would be a fine place to have a nap.”

“I heard mutters of you also being a bird… but where is your plumage?” Ankh is very close to committing Murder.

I think about these two interacting and what it would look like very often, I hope I can get to this one idea sometime!

Everyone asks about main Riders and their partner(s) so I will ask: who are some of your favorite side characters, and what headcanons do you have for them?

Hmm, that's an excellent question, actually.

I find a lot of the female protagonists quite compelling. Akiko from W, Sawa from Build, Kiriko from Drive, Akari from Ghost, Tomoko from Fourze, Mei from Saber... It's honestly a shame that canon doesn't really have much to offer for them, simply because they're not Riders and therefore the plot doesn't really revolve around developing them.

That said, I don't really have headcanons for them per se, not now at least. I may have some stuff I wrote before, both here and on my main blog, but I don't recall right now lol. In any case, I'll tag them below and you can click on them to peruse whatever I do have here for them :))

It's Keiichiro's day off, the weather is beautiful, and he's so absorbed in reading that he doesn't realize anything's amiss until he hears a burst of giggling from a group of young women at the next table.

He looks up to see Kairi, in full top hat and tails, perched on the railing of the plaza fence, and nearly drops his book. "Ka--Lupin Red! What are you doing here? Actually, what are you doing out? It's the middle of the day."

Kairi taps the side of his mask and says, "Afternoon, Officer, you're looking handsome as always," to another round of scandalized giggles and several curious glances in Keiichiro's direction.

Keiichiro feels his face go hot. "As much as, as I appreciate that, Lupin Red, it's not an answer to my question."

"I know, but it's rude to just jump right into things, y'know? Anyway, got a hot tip for you and the other Patrangers. Little outside my whole phantom thief thing."

A long sigh. "You know I'll have to arrest you eventually, right?"

"Sure, but you'll have to catch me first." As if they weren't going to be going back to the same apartment at the end of the day--but then, it would hardly be a good idea to let the general public know that. "Although maybe I'll go quietly if you promise to handcuff me yourself."

More giggling. Keiichiro pinches the bridge of his nose. "Please get to the point."

"Sure, but you gotta come over here." Kairi beckons with one gloved hand, gesturing to a spot on the fence next to him. "I mean, I guess you don't have to sit on the fence, but I don't exactly want to shout this stuff."

Keiichiro sighs, puts a bookmark in his Sherlock Holmes collection, and stands up. "This had better be good."

At the fence, Kairi sweeps off his top hat with a flourish, which Keiichiro is willing to put down to his constant need for drama until he says, "Excuse me, ladies," to the table of gigglers, and uses the hat brim to shield them from view. At a much lower volume, he says, "I really don't want anyone to hear us, I have legit news."

Keiichiro frowns. "Kairi, what's going on? You're scaring me."

"First you gotta promise not to be mad."

"About...what?"

"So. Ok. I'm out like this during the day because a little bird let Tooma know that something that sounded like a Collection piece was gonna be changing hands over in the warehouse district this morning."

"What...kind of little bird?"

"What kinda question--I'm not telling you who, he's a source. Anyway, we dressed up for it because the family buying the Collection piece isn't, like, super nice, so we didn't just want our faces out there right off."

Keiichiro practically feels his eyes start to bug out of his head. "Kairi. You were out this morning robbing a Ya--" he glances to the side nervously, "one of the larger local groups?"

Kairi's mouth twists below his mask. "That was the plan, but it wasn't a Collection piece--"

"How could you tell tha--"

"--it was a kaijin smuggling operation."

Keiichiro starts to respond to that, freezes, thinks about it for a moment, and then says, very slowly, "A smuggling operation run by a kaijin, or smugglers transporting kaijin?"

"The second one. They're, uh, they're some kinda mad scientists or something, they're not Ganglars, it's kind of not what we do. I came straight here."

"...shit."

"Yeah, that's what I said. I would've just texted you but I didn't want you to think I'd gotten hurt or something."

Underneath his growing sense of urgency and alarm Keiichiro feels a little tickle of warmth. "Thank you, I appreciate that."

Kairi grins at him. "So I'll go, uh, write shit down for you, I guess? Details? But you might wanna let the others know."

"Sounds good." Keiichiro sighs heavily. "This was supposed to be my day off."

"Yeah, I know, I'm sorry." Finally, Kairi stops shielding their faces and puts his hat back on. "Anyway," louder again, "hope you get something out of that."

"We'll...we'll do our best." Keiichiro rubs at his temple. "And I guess I'll arrest you later."

"Sounds good." Kairi waves to the young womrn still clustered around their table, offering them a cheery, "Have a nice day, ladies," amid a chorus of giggles, and then pauses. "Oh, Officer, one last thing?"

Keiichiro, who was turning to go get his things from his table, turns back. "What is it now, Lupin Re--"

The hand grabbing the front of his shirt is a surprise, but not quite as much as the mouth pressed against his. Kairi's murmur of, "See you at home," is very nearly lost under the startled noises from the women at the next table and the ripples of surprise from other passersby. And then, of course, Kairi is gone, sailing off on his zip line in a flash of red.

"Dammit, Kairi," Keiichiro mutters under his breath as he goes to collect his things. After a moment's consideration he pulls out his phone. [if you surprise me like that again I am going to *spank* you]
