Travis nearly screams when he feels a sudden weight on top of him.
He is dozing off on the couch in the lounge, and he was almost asleep before he was rudely awoken by someone nearly crushing him.
Vic.
The younger firefighter leans her head on his shoulder tiredly. “Jesus christ Vic, you gave me a heart attack! I was almost asleep.” He pouts. “Tough shit, Trav. I’m single and lonely and demand cuddles. And you are going to deliver.” Vic replies, snuggling deeper into his shoulder.
Travis rolls his eyes, but doesn’t argue. He just wraps his arms around her tightly, readjusting so they are more comfortable.
It’s been a long shift. Call after call with barely anytime to rest. The calls have also been long and brutal. No wonder Vic is in need of cuddles.
She’s always been physically affectionate, ever since Travis has known her. But it always increases more when it’s been a long or tough day.
“Are you ok, Vic?” Travis asks. His eyes are filled with concern. Vic smiles at him sleepily.
“It’s been a long day. But I’m better now.”
Travis kisses her head.
“Me too.”

As you headed to the kitchen, you questioned your sanity. The clock read ten minutes after four in the morning, yet you were on your way to make another coffee. It had been the fifth since the beginning of your shift that night.
“What the fuck are you doing?” Theo’s voice broke the dead silence, making your blood freeze. It took a moment before you saw him emerging from the shadows, since the only source of light in the room was the moon shining through the window. “What are you doing? You scared the living hell out of me.”
“Sorry,” Theo said, his voice barely above a whisper. “I didn’t mean to startle you.”
“It’s fine,” you replied, “I just can’t seem to fall asleep tonight.”
Theo gave you a soft smile. “Yeah, I know that feeling,” he murmured, “don’t you think your caffeine overdose has something to do with it, though?”
You chuckled, and Theo took a moment to take in your beautiful, yet tired features. Even in the dim light, he could see the exchaustion on your face. “You’ve been wired the last two shifts. What’s going on with you?”
You sighed, feeling a lump forming in your throat. “It’s just been a rough week, I guess,” you said, “we had a few intense calls- it’s been hard to shake them off.”
Despite your emotional state, you tried to force a smile. However, after dating your for a little over six months, Theo could tell the difference between you being composed and appearing composed.
“I get it,” he said softly as he stepped closer to you. “It’s not easy dealing with this kind of stuff. But you know you can always confide in me, right?”
The sincerity in Theo’s voice made your heart melt. You gave him a subtle nod, a tear escaping your eye as you looked up at him. “I know,” you whispered, “I just didn’t want to burden you with my problems.”
“It’s not a burden,” he corrected firmly. “We’re in this together, remember?”
He wrapped his arms around you protectively, and you felt the tension in you body ease some. Your lips softly pressed against his in a comforting kiss. “Thank you,” you whispered, “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“You’ll never have to find out.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. The passion between you grew and you lost yourself in the moment, not realizing that you had wandered into the locker room.
Your hands found their way to Theo’s hair as he pulled you closer to himself. He tugged at the fabric of your shirt, and without thinking twice about it you lifted your hands above your head. Theo removed the piece of clothing slowly, leaving you in only sweatpants and a bralette.
The cool air of the locker room hit your bare skin, and you shivered with anticipation. “God, you’re breathtaking,” Theo whispered while his hands roamed all over your body, sending jolts of electricity through your veins.
His fingers hooked around the edge of your bralette, pulling it down to expose your breasts. He leaned in, took one nipple in his mouth and teased it with his tongue until he felt it harden. The sensation sent waves of pleasure through your body, causing you to pull on Theo’s hair harsly as you tried to supress your moans.
You tugged at the hem of his shirt, urging him to remove it. Theo complied without hesitation. You felt the heat radiating off his body as your hands traced the defined muscles of his abs and chest, until they finally travelled at the waistband of his pants.
You slipped it off with ease, and moments later you were both naked.
Theo pushed you against the lockers. You felt his erection against your thigh, and you knew he was just as aroused as you were. With a sense of urgency, you pushed him down onto one of the benches, straddling him as you continued to kiss him.
His hands met your hips, guiding you as you rocked against him. “How does this feel?” he asked in between shakey beaths, and you could only moan in response.
“Shh, try to stay quiet. We don’t want anyone to hear us.”
The moment those words left his lips, the sound of a door opening caught your attention. You broke apart in an instant, both breathless and disoriented, only to find Vic and Travis standing in front of you.
Theo wrapped his hands tightly around you in an attempt to cover your exposed body. You burried your head in his chest, deeply ashamed and horrified of the fact that your secret relationship with the Fire Captain wasn’t a secret anymore.
“We’re together,” Theo spoke before anyone got the chance to say anything. Travis’s eyes widened in surprise, while Vic’s expression remained neutral. She cleared her throat before speaking up. “And I’m guessing you don’t want anyone to find out?” she asked.
Theo gave her a slight nod. “Can we trust you guys on keeping it between us?”
Travis and Vic exchanged a puzzled glance, but nodded in agreement. “Of course,” Travis replied, “we won’t say anything.”
You and Theo sighed in relief. He smiled gracefully, before thanking the two of them.
As Travis turned around to exit the locker rooms, however, he made a statement that make your heart skip a beat.
“Although, there’s a high chance the others already know. You weren’t so quiet as you thought.”

Jack Gibson - And Baby Makes Three
So I just started watching Station 19 and Jack is my favorite!! I’m on season 2 episode 5 right now. Most of my works are family related so this is no different. I’m also taking requests as well :) My master list is pinned to my page so go check it out if you want. But yeah, i write cute family fics most of the time as that is what I enjoy.

“If baby doesn’t make an appearance by Friday, we can talk about induction.” Dr. Addison Montgomery exclaimed with a smile. You looked at Jack with a nervous smile. You were currently a week over due with baby boy and you were starting to get uncomfortable. Addison then grabbed her things and said her goodbyes before leaving the examination room.
Jack helped you sit up. You sighed, rubbing your hand over your belly. This was your and Jack’s first child and you were more than anxious to give birth.
“You okay?” Jack questioned, looking at you with concern as he rubbed your back.
“We’re about to become parents. An- And I'm about to give birth soon.” You started to fidget with your hands. Jack walked from around the table to in front of you, standing in between your legs as you sat on the edge of the examination table.
He pushed a piece of your hair behind your ear and grabbed your hand.
“You are going to be amazing. And I’ll be right by your side holding your hand and supporting you through it. There is nothing to worry about.” He cupped your face in his hand and pressed his lips to yours, sending all your worries away.

Friday came and went so the induction was set for Monday morning. You were currently in bed binge watching one of your favorite tv shows when you heard Jack walk in. You sat up the best you could with your protruding belly. You may be nervous but you were so ready to be done with pregnancy. It wasn’t delightful as some made it out to be.
You heard Jack’s footsteps stomping up the stairs and a few minutes later he appeared in the door way. He looked exhausted.
“I’m so glad to see you.” Jack sighed, dropping his things at the door before walking over towards the bed.
“Are you okay?” You asked as he began to take off his clothes before crawling into bed with you. He didn’t answer. He just pulled you close, resting his hands on your belly.
“I love you and our son so much.” He whispered, kissing the top of your head.

Monday quickly arrived and the two of you headed to the hospital. You received a lot of text messages from the crew wishing you good luck and a smooth delivery.
A couple hours after getting induced, the contractions were starting to pick up and become stronger. Jack was super supportive and was by your side constantly.
“FUCK THIS HURTS.” You gripped onto the handle bar on the side of the hospital bed. Jack was sitting next to you in a chair, holding onto your hand and rubbing your back. Jack hated to see you in pain and he felt hopeless, knowing he couldn’t do anything to ease your pain.

Sixteen hours after a brutal labor, baby boy Gibson was born weighing in at seven pounds even. After getting him cleaned up, a nurse walked over and passed over the sweet bundle of joy.
Jack was sitting on the side of the bed with you, his arm wrapped around you as both of you looked down at the little baby boy who looked just like Jack.
“He’s perfect.” You whispered, a tear rolling down your face. Jack kissed the top of your head.
“You did amazing. I’m so proud of you.”

A couple of hours later after you and Jack got to spend time with your son, it was time for him to meet the Station 19 family. You passed the baby over to Jack as everyone walked into the room.
“Congratulations!” Andy, Vic and Maya came over and gave you hugs. Travis, Dean and Warren patted Jack on the back.
“Everyone, we would like for you to meet Logan Dean Gibson.” Jack introduced the newest member. Everyone awed after realizing he was named after Miller. Miller teared up just thinking about it.
“Are you serious? I’m honored.” Miller was in complete shock. Jack smiled over at you before asking Miller if he wanted to hold his godson.
You were exhausted but it was so worth it. Seeing Jack with his son and showing him off to everyone made your heart swell.
You couldn’t wait to get home and actually be a family of three.

The Station 19 storyline...
Am I the only one who absolutely hates the Beckett and Ross/Sullivan storyline? It seems way too dragged out by now. Why enable characters like that in a show as popular as station 19? It doesn’t add up with the statements of the writers wanting to stand for inclusivity and equality. It would have made sense it the writers actually tried to make a point with it, or if there in any way had been foreshadowing to future episodes to sort of create a bigger picture of things. Yet now it seems that the storyline is that way simply just for the sake of it, and due to writers not being able to or wanting to come up with better storylines. Plainly, it just seems like its promoting misogyny, sexism, homophobia, and chauvinism.
The same goes for the sidelining of Travis, Vic, Carina, and Maya. Why do they not have more screentime each and in interaction with each other? It seems that Andy, Ross, Beckett, Sullivan, and or other side characters are constantly in the picture as well. Travis and Vic should have a bigger storyline as well, where we actually see them interacting with Maya and Andy outside of the station.
The Jack redemption storyline? I’m just not buying it. It seems extremely hypocritical when compared to the way that Maya has been treated. Both Jack and Maya have been in the wrong with some of their actions, as well as some of the things they have said, but suddenly it’s all “station 19 protect our own, we’re a family” when Jack is suffering and pushing people away. Where is that energy for Maya? Where are her friends? It’s really sad to see the way the show has ruined her friendships with Andy and Vic. They really made Andy and Vic treat Maya terrible and say horrible things about her. I miss seeing Andy, Vic, Travis, and Maya interacting and actually spending time together and supporting each other!
So, it seems that Jack is allowed to suffer and be a person who treats others terrible, but when Maya is suffering because of a demotion caused by her saving a kid its everyone for themselves? Why drag that storyline out so much, but allow Sullivan and Beckett to continue their chaos and shitty treatment of others seemingly for no good reason at all? That just doesn’t speak anything other than hypocritical to me.
And sorry to say it, but it’s literally the most out of character thing ever to have Carina and Maya to suggest that Jack should be the donor and have them continue to actually use him as a donor. Also, yes I see why Carina would be able to forgive Jack, it’s so in her nature, but to practically swoon over him? That would literally never happen, Carina wouldn’t do that - what were the writers thinking? Lastly, that whole storyline with the Marina baby, everything was wrong about it, and it was extremely disrespectful to all queer/non-straight womenx. Please STOP putting men into/between the storylines of queer/non straight women like that, it’s just so unnecessary and weird? Both Jack and Maya could have had great storylines respectively without interactions such as the one carried out in that storyline.
I definitely also think it was the wrong choice to make Travis treat Emmett like that, it seemed to out of character and unnecessary. They were such a great couple, and Emmett was such a great addition to the show. Definitely feels like the show is missing something without Emmett and Travis/Emmett as a couple.
Last but now least, give Carina more screentime and a bigger storyline, she’s a series regular for god sake, act like it. She’s literally one the most popular and one of the best characters on the way, it’s time the station 19 writers and producers recognize that. The same goes for Marina, stop dragging this baby storyline out so much please, that would not have happened if it has been a straight, cisgender couple and that’s just sad. Stefania and Danielle are way to talented to have their characters disrespected like that, and Marina is way too important to be disregarded like the writers have been doing for a while now.
Sorry for the rant, but it just made too much sense in my head to not get out.

This show means a lot to me and other people and it has been cancelled to soon. The show is full of representation of minorities and protests against the current treatment of women in the US. Station 19 is home. It is a family. Us fans are a family, the cast and crew is a family, so please please help us save what if for most of us, the best family we will ever have. It can't go yet. Grey's is about to have season 20 and we might not even get a season 8! Its senseless and I know its not the biggest problem in our world right now, but saving it would touch a lot of lives and make things a little bit better. Please, I'm begging you, if you sympathise with my plea or love 19 too, sign the petition to bring it back.
