#yugioh arc v #yugioh arc-v #arc-v #shun #yuto #comic #duel links #sorry for the long format but OOH it looks so clean when its all in one line!!! #this almost didn't make it out of my wip jail cells because i spent 30 mins on one of the panels #using references and everything but it just looked super duper odd and it was a waste of time overall #and don't even get me started on the toning (clenches fist) nothing was looking right at one point #but enough about the process i want to talk about the comic itself #part of the motivation for drawing this was seeing all the fluffy shunyoot celebration pics during his roaming event #they ARE cute but also i really really wanted so badly to see shun's visceral reaction that didn't reduce him to mere comedic fodder #(something i'm also guilty of) #so anyway like we always say in ygos we make our own food #wow im rambling anyways the last line of dialogue i had most trouble with but also the most proud of #no shade to the writers of the show (ok maybe like a LITTLE shade) but with this comic i really wanted to reflect the feelings of both #fans of the show as well as fans that left after the ending because that was something i saw floating on jp twitter during the roaming even #and it really made me Think #also can we talk about how in the event yuya was just like hey shun i have a surprise for you!!! haha :] #he was THERE when shun said never appear in front of me ever again did he think shun would just be omg yuto :) #this is why youre my favourite (yuya) #anyways last but not least #the final yuto panel is a healthy mix of guilt + existential dread and doubt about his own existence i hope that was obvious enough

mmmmm, I tend to forget that tumblr could be a place where I actually, you know, write blog posts and whatnot. like i used to back on dreamwidth. about fannish and nonfannish things. or even hiccup out more of my short-form whimsy like I used to on twitter. I mean I'm still generally blogging about nonfannish things at my dreamwidth and talking occasionally about my vid projects there since that's where I've always chattered about those wips. I don't bother really talking about my witcher wips over there. but tumblr has taken up this space in my head as space where I glom onto all the pretty posts like beloved scrapbooking material and stuff my queue for a whole year. and just rolling around in the ask games and wip posts from everyone else. not writing more posts of my own. me writing posts here...a thing I want to do and yet I don't. I have a giant list of half-written recs posts and other fannish and nonfannish things waiting for me to finish. but my brain keeps stalling out because of a lot of reasons (stress life stuff fucking with my focus). but this has been on my mind.

i got used to mar.cille's english voice but then heard her japanese voice & now it's all over once again

#dunmeshiposting #idc that the voice actress did a good job as na.mi in opla her voice is very much all over the place for ma.rcille 😭 #i don't know how to explain but it constantly sounds unstable & wobbly & that's just not how i imagine mar.cille #it's like she's always yelling or upset but her voice is also always on the verge of breaking or falling through a cloud. very odd #i think i prefer sungwon as sen.shi over his japanese voice though. he sounds older than he is in japanese #la.ios sounds fine in both though i had trouble getting used to his voice in english bc smth about the tone didn't feel right #fa.lin having a very high pitched sweet voice is not what i envisioned at all but it's consistent between versions so far #which is gonna get really fun soon enough. #chil sounds perfect in english no notes wonderful work there. same w na.mari though she sounds perfect in both languages #japanese chil is. too standard voice. english voice stands out imo. ca.sey mong.illo is doing an awesome job #don't rlly have opinions on ka.bru's party i haven't heard them in japanese yet bc i only checked out the last ep #they sound fine in english though? idk i don't remember going 'oh noooo NOOOOO' about it lmao #there you go. my unwanted dunmeshi voice opinions 👍

#Muse band #so I decided to do this the old fashioned way and 'record' through the radio mixing desk #I don't have a CD slot so a simple drag and drop wouldn't work unfortunately #so I played it from the radio station CD player stacks into the control room mixing board #and just recorded the audio off of that treating at as I would a normal pre-record #but the source's volume fader was too high when Coma kicked in first and so I hurriedly had to fade it down — that recording wasn't great #so in the end I just did it again. When you're recording that way you can't just click play and have it done instantaneously: #it's a record not a plain data transfer... so you play the whole thing and hope there are no disturbances when you're doing so #and if your CD skips? So help you; it's back to the beginning (which happened on Muscle Museum) #muse #but we got it so it's all good! #(Actually the last recording is fucking troubling me; tumblr just doesn't like it. Weird question time, because I know my allergies are weird but I have no frame of reference for how weird or which parts are, uh, alarming to doctors lol For those of you with allergies, especially food allergies, do your allergies ever affect your blood pressure? High or low, either way Also, after a moderate-to-severe allergic reaction, do you ever have trouble with low blood sugar for a few days (or a few weeks)? Oh, side note, because idk how commonly known this is: Vinegar is acetic acid plus water. So if (like me) you are allergic to vinegar, look out for acetic acid in ingredient lists. am I seriously considering learning how to drive after years of not wanting to? guess I am,,

#sofi.txt #about me #text #listen i never did bc neither of my parents has a licence and we've never had or needed (or could afford) a car #and i always thought it was too difficult and too much trouble #too many steps to get there and too much stuff to pay attention to #it's the neurodivergence #czech public transport is excellent so i got by just fine #but irish buses suck and i have to be driven to and from work every day #and depend on various people and their schedules #i don't like it #i often have to hurry in the evening to make it on time like #plus there are so many places i want to visit that i can't get to without a car #and seriously the buses are awful there's either too much time between them or not enough #and the last bus back to my town is at 5:45 pm which is. not ideal #i've often thought that everything would be a lot easier if i just had a car and now it's especially true #work. grocery shopping. travelling. everything #ughhh #like. i'm used to carrying 12 kg of groceries on my back yknow. and planning around the bus that runs twice a day #but it would be nice Not To Have To #i already started studying for the theory test just for funsies :) and it is kind of fun actually #i love absorbing New Knowledge #esp when i'm not forced to #and i hate not knowing or being unable to do things #so that's that #i COULD actually afford it too #but theory is one thing. practice is another;; #hhhhhh we'll see

#the last time i went to the doctor to treat my ears #he said that if i keep getting infections the antibiotics will become obsolete #since i've had multiple ear infections this year alone #and he might have to recommend me somewhere to get surgery on my ears and hearing aids :-( #that's so scary i've never had surgery before i don't WANT hearing aids!!! #that just sounds like such a huge financial burden #idk why my ears are so bad. they've always caused me a lot of trouble even as a child #but they've gotten worse as i've gotten older. they're always so painful #i hate having ears what the fuck lol
