💛 - Familial relationships.

//OOF...Roxenne's familial relationships...it's a MASSIVE can of worms with very dark lore...I will try to keep it tame and implied for comfort but her entire back story is wild AF AHEM

HER MOTHER--

Elenore/Lenore was once a crack whore who was used and abused by a drug pin who also pimped her out-- as such Roxenne (at this time, Rosalynn) was conceived by this man in a not so flattering way...

As a result, she is very resentful towards Roxenne/Rosalynn Getting rid of the child went against her faith but she never treated Rosa well either. She forced the girl to wear nothing but black her entire life and dolled her up with makeup at a very young age to push the image to the public that her daughter was a Harlot because her father was a harlot which made Rosa one by default. She eventually "fell in love" and ran off with another man who happens to be the Drug Pin's brother who "Saved her" (so he claims but he had a God Complex himself. He had God Syndrome and believed himswelf to be so pure and holy that laying with him would in turn save and purify Lenore's soul-- Lenore being in High faith believed this and so was pretty much manipulated into another relationship that seemed less abusive as he never hurt her physically in any way and was very kind to her (in her eyes) --but in reality it was not a better situation at all, but a whole other form of abuse better played out-- HER FATHER-- Phillipe was a King Pin/Drug pin as well as a pimp. He's got a record of fair share in use-and-abuse, with Rosa's mother being one of them-- While he treated her poorly, part of him did love her which in turn drew them in and over time led into some very dark and twisted things in their relationship that turned into abuse-- When it comes to Rosa being conceived-- albeit the child was unplanned-- he says that at first it actually WAS concentual-- until she had an episode during and told him to stop at which he didn't listen, nor "could stop in time" (according to him). He was later then Angry about her being pregnant-- but did "Take care of her" for her "Faith" s he once held religeous belief as well and maintained SOME morals his mother taught him-- however he planned to get rid of the child {Humanely} once it was born--

His heart however faltered and changed after making the first mistake of naming her "Rosalynn" after his mother, "Rosalita"...the second one being holding her for the first time in his hands. In this moment while he won't openly say so, he grew a fondness for his daughter and cared, only to lose her and any rights to her when Lenore ran off with his brother Julio, taking Rosalynn with them and refusing Phillipe any access to her at all--

he did however on occasion still arrange to see her himself in secret as she grew up, granting her secret visits and bringing her gifts for hollidays and birthdays such as paintings he did or toys and dolls (that he usually stole) and on days when she wasn't fed properly he would leave her food as well.

All "acts of love and kindness" that he will never otherwise own up to openly.

HER UNCLE

Julio is younger brother to Phillipe who was by far treated better by their mother. He was always sickly and had something wrong mentally, to which their mother, being too poor to pay for any sort of treatments or hospitalization, so turning all her faith into prayer-- which eventually got to his head and led him into this state of believing himself to be Holy.

He was always kinder at his core and wanted nothing more than to save people (despite not always going about it in any proper way) Julio finding out about Lenore and her situation with Phillipe and their daughter, took it upon himself to "Save" her and take Rosa as well by getting them away from Phillipe-- or as Phillipe would state it, "Stealing them from him."

He and Lenore wind up married and have a daughter together named Olibya aka "Libby" who they treated like a princes with pure love and kindness. While Lenore was never good to Rosa, Julio actually WAS good and kind to her for a while as a child, It wasn't until she grew up into her older teen young adult years that his care and views of her begen to change and become something far more twisted, especially as he began to form and take on the role of a cult leader...he left it upon himself to punish sinners while sharing the belief of "Use every part" so often times he would cook them and serve them to his followers as well as charity and soup kitchen events he volunterred for in the form of sandwiches or stews By the time she was 18, a young adult, Julio started snaking into her room and crawling into her bed at night under the guise that he just wanted to "Save" and lying with him would allow this--

However while it never went into doing the actual deed-- as even Julio believed you have to WANT to be saved in order for it to work-- he did in fact do other things to her--

Things that she did try to tell her mother but it only angered her mother and she didn't believe her and pressed on that Rosa was and always would be a Harlot that could and would never be saved.

HER SISTER

Rosa has a younger sister named Olibya (Aka "Libby") who was born to Lenore and Julio and who--unlike Rosa-- was treated well with love and kindness from both parents.

Libby was too naive to notice what was actyually going on with Rosa and their mom or her dad-- and didn't notice anything wrong, growing up confused on why Rosa was treated different. She was kind and naive and Rosa didn't want to ruin the image of the loving parents that L:ibby got to have... so for the sake of Libby, she kept quiet. And while Rosa still held a small bit of resentment towards her sister, being that she was treated better, and boys who ended up dating Rosa, later then would turn and pursue her instead, or use Rosa to do so. She was still kind to Libby-- and cared for her, wanting to protect her innocence for as long as she could. The girls would play together--Though Rosa often got in trouble by their mother for doing so, while encouraged by Julio that it was okay and that he would handle her mother-- Libby grew up complacent but had good intentions though finding out the truth about her parents being the real reason as to why Rosa ran off with a mafia guy who later took out her father, Julio-- really did not sit well with her...

Of Rosa's immediate family, Libby was probably the most positive-influecned relationship she had...

It becomes a cartoonish war between Alastor and the children, one with little malice but many dangerous antics on both ends

With you in the middle

You even start to play along, picking different sides at random and turning things into a game

It's totally not an excuse to watch your husband play with children and it definitely doesn't make your heart ache

Once Alastor stops to realize how you're looking at him and sees how much warmth your gaze holds then he starts to understand something

Something that makes his heart throb a little but he tucks it away for when you two are alone

Alastor starts to join you in hanging out with the children after that, enjoying the maternal side of you more than he would care to admit

And seeing him act even remotely fatherly is obviously doing things for you so that's a bonus for him too

You two are constantly followed by a gaggle of children now, the two of you looking like duck parents

If you run into any of the overlords then Alastor will pit the kids against them, telling them to get their Aunty/Uncle

Bonus points if its Vox and they take off a piece of him and bring it back to Alastor

As a sequel to the monsterhood ask,

Cranboo has this problem where he is looking for answers as to who he is but they are also running from who they are? If their monsterhood was fully realized I think they would change every time they slept. It is unavoidable. ranboo will sleep, or he will black out and wake up with blood in his teeth. They are tall and thin(to varying degrees). The right side of his body is white with a red eye, the left is black with a green one when looking in the mirror. They are wearing formal clothing, most often business suits. There is a blank book and sharpened pencil somewhere on their body.

These are the only things that stay the same.

Tubbo’s wounds never fully heal. Papercuts will scar over in shades of pink and his firework scars are stained red like the dye has seeped into his skin. He makes the sky grey wherever he goes but he hasn’t left his home in over a year. Tommy writes him but he is too afraid to open them, just sends over little toys and trinkets that work without being wound up or filled with redstone. They don’t function for anyone who isn’t him or tommy

YES ABSOLUTELY i think if we are taking that full monstrous route to it like, the transformations would definitely happen unconsciously where it's very out of his control. he would be led down a path where the best action may be trying to just adapt, but instead he initially takes the approach of trying to control what can't be controlled, and then try to understand what can't be understood. fear of what could happen keeps him gagged; i think it would definitely be different to canotical enderwalk state, where it's not even a state of memories, it's just a state where all of this tempest like energy inside him gets unleashed.

i'm especially attached to the bit you said there of him making the sky grey wherever he goes, but also staying in his home. i think if we took that point you explained really well about his stagnancy, we can see it here: even when he stays still, the world doesn't go to shit, but the world slowly loses color. he's trying to work with the cards he's been dealt in this monstrous existence of resignation.

i wonder how they come to terms with this existence. certainly it's not agony forever, but for them would their peace be letting the beast get more massive, or letting the beast die out? or is it just coexistence? it's hard to compare monsterhood to anything aside from these abstract concepts: certainly, if you have an injury, you learn to live with it until it heals, if it ever heals at all, then otherwise you learn to live and coexist with it. what is it like when monsterhood is this possessive manifestation of everything in your life entirely?

Today's Ramble comes to you in the form of hundreds of hypothetical question trains that have been going through my head since Fit's lore stream.

There's no real structure to this shit since it's just been compiled in a draft over the past few days so it's a real ramble of nonsense!

This ramble is a longer one just because it's been compiled together but it's all qFit characterisation lore relevant so yeah! Don't worry if you get lost reading it or give up on reading it all. I did that and it's my own ramble!

I am a big fan of the character lore implications of Madagio's first words to qFit;

so all of these question trains lead back to this line here! I love it so much!

(God bless the bald man's storytelling ability. This single line and his cinematic scenes have had me bouncing off the walls for days so without further ado, enjoy the needlessly long ramble.)

When Madagio knocked him into the Cavern of Corpses it took over half his health and with no food to eat he has no way to quickly regen his hearts, to heal.

In the wasteland, in early days, he ate rotten flesh to survive, would he do it again?

Would he be willing to return to the necessary savagery in order to stay alive?

Would he crawl over to the nearest corpse when the hunger got to be too much to deal with without satiation?

Would he give into his survivalist instincts just to avoid death by starvation when it got too close? Would he eat only what he had to in order to survive?

Would eat just enough for the saturation to regen, to heal his injuries from the fall?

OR would he go further, eating until he was full?

Did he miss the taste?

OR would he stop himself entirely and not touch them, remembering his boyfriend's own trauma?

Would he wonder if Pac would be reminded of Cell if Fit did what he felt he had to do?

Would he drive himself to starvation, not touching the corpses, just to prevent his boyfriend from seeing him with that same fear?

Would his newfound emotional attachments overpower his survivalist instincts?

Is he no longer able to commit such an act without thinking of the moral implications?

Did he consider the moral implications back in the early days of the wasteland when it was the only food he had to stay alive?

Is he no longer willing to go to any lengths in order to survive?

Has he truly changed that much over the past year?

Has he lost his edge?

A fall from such a height, that took so many of his hearts, could've easily broken bones.

Did he land on feet first, shattering one or both of his ankles?

Is that why he was holding his legs as he's sat in the Cavern?

Is he unable to move from the spot he landed in?

Can he only crawl across the floor towards the nearest corpse in order to regen and heal the breaks?

OR did he hit his leg on the way down, breaking his lower leg clean in half?

Did he have to set the break himself, biting down on his neckerchief to stop himself from screaming out?

Did he use his only torch as a splint?

Did he rip off strips of his cape in order to hold it in place as it slowly healed while he sat immobilised in the Cavern of Corpses?

OR did he land on his side, breaking his arm?

Was it his good arm or his prosthetic?

Did he break his good arm and have to rely only on his non-dominant (off)hand?

Would he let his arm hang limp at his side while he sat in the Cavern of Corpses?

Or would he fashion his cape into a sling, tearing off strips and using them to stabilize the break?

Did it remind him of back in the wasteland, when he carried his left arm in a similar way before he had to amputate it?

OR did his prosthetic break?

Did it occasionally shock him with its broken wiring since he had no tools to fix it?

Would he remove it entirely to stop the intermittent pain?

Or would that leave him too vulnerable?

Did he fight without his limb in the past?

Did he even use a prosthetic in the wasteland?

Is he too used to wearing it now after his time on the island?

Is he no longer able to adapt as easily to life without the ability to use one of his limbs?

Has he lost his edge?

Fit removed his hearing aids before falling asleep in the radio tower. (those were not noise cancelling headphones. Sorry streamer man your cubito is hard of hearing, I don't make the rules)

Did they get left behind in the radio tower like the rest of his belongings?

Was that why there were static sounds in the background with minimal game sounds, because his own hearing was limited without them?

Could he even hear the logs he came across or did he have to read the transcripts as they played?

Was that why Madagio was able to get the drop on him so easily?

Was he too overwhelmed with his new surroundings and all the information to listen out for the faint sound of cat paws?

He only turned around at the meow, was that all that he was able to hear clearly?

Did he sit in the Cavern where Madagio threw him, cursing himself for becoming too reliant on his mobility aids?

Did he even use hearing aids before Quesadilla Island?

Did he just adapt while in the wasteland, surviving with one of his senses dulled by years of close quarter explosions and head traumas?

Did he even know his hearing was affected?

Or was it so gradual over his years in the wasteland that he had no idea anything was wrong?

Did he have no idea that he was hard of hearing before the age of 30?

Was the world completely deafening when he was first introduced to hearing aids?

Did he adapt to the noise, relearning how to fight, to survive in his day to day when he could hear so much more?

Can he adapt to his disability now that he's without his mobility aids again on Vaccus or is he too out of practice?

He's been wearing them for a whole year on the island, is the world too silent now?

Is he unable to adjust to the sudden lack of detailed audio?

Has he lost his edge?

Fit is gonna be stuck in that Cavern of Corpses for TWO WHOLE WEEKS.

What would he do for 2 weeks alone in a cave with nothing but corpses to keep him company?

Would he just sit there, staring dissociated into the Cavern of Corpses with his arms wrapped around his knees?

Would he notice how low his health and food bars got?

Would he even notice that two weeks passed?

OR would he explore further into the Cavern, his historians curiosity getting the better of him as he analyzes the structures and corpses?

Would he spend his days cataloguing every detail, taking screenshots and storing them in his arm to document them later?

OR would he sit there, lucid and in pain, unable to move with how low his health is?

Would he consider dropping down further into the Cavern, taking fall damage in order to force himself to respawn?

Would he lie on the Cavern floor waiting for the respawn counter to count down as no one came to Res him?

But where would he respawn?

Would it be worse than where he fell?

Does he really want to know?

Would Madagio know where he went if he did respawn?

What if Madagio came back for him and Fit wasn't there?

What if he couldn't go back home to his baby boy and his Brazilian boyfriend?

OR would the solitary start to get to him?

He's been constantly around people for a year now, so much so that when he doesn't see anyone for a single day he suffers from separation anxiety. How would 2 weeks affect him?

Would he start to crack, his separation anxiety manifesting as he can't reach anyone?

Would he try to reach people on his communicator?

Would he send out message after message every single day, desperately praying to anyone that could hear him that at least one reached Quesadilla Island?
