Warcraft: The Beginning / Ruth Negga as Queen Taria Wrynn

This beautiful grey velvet dress appears in the epilogue, at the king's funeral. Queen Taria was a new character created for the movie, meaning there was no animated version to draw upon and they could design her look from scratch. It's hard to see in the actual film, but she has the lion of Stormwind worked into the back of the gown!

Ok not something i normally post about but im rewatching one one of my all time favorite childhood movies, Treasure Planet it has to be in my top 3, order going, Toy Story, Treasure Planet, then Hercules, anyways, we all go on about pixar moms and shit but i day Disney has some top teir moms also, case in point one Sarah Hawkins from as i said Treasure planet i mean LOOK AT HER she is stunning, and you cannot change my mind, i will die on this hill.

I was watching Treasure Planet when drawing Sundew so now I have Treasure Planet brainrot. Mostly thanks to these two scrunklies. God I love Captain Amelia. When my cousins and I would play this I was always either Amelia or Captain Silver. Either cool badass lady captian or cool evil but not too evil cyborg captain.

Also Dr. Doppler is life. A clumsy man trying his absolute best. Cute dynamic. Love the incapable dad vibe.

Warcraft: The Beginning / Ben Foster as Medivh

Medivh's wizardly robes and raven-headed staff are pretty cool, but what really pushes this costume to the next level is the feathered cloak. A red-haired cosplayer friend of mine kept muttering a steady stream of "I want that cloak so much" while we were watching.

Frankly, I think this is an instance where they actually improved on the game design (see below) in converting it to live action. I love the look of the iridescent feathers. The rippled silver lining has an almost organic look; it also keeps the interior of the hood from looking too dark and overshadowing the face.

I actually really enjoyed this movie and am sad that it doesn't seem likely to ever get a sequel. It had its issues--most of which could have been fixed by restoring the 25 minutes of footage that were reportedly cut out--but even the final version didn't, in my opinion, deserve the savaging it got from the critics. Alas.

If you never saw Sahara (2005), you need to see it.

-Awesome soundtrack of American Rock and African music

-Awesome cast, including Matthew McConaughey, Steve Zahn, Rainn Wilson, Penelope Cruz, and many others.

-Hilarious dialogue and funny jokes

-Decent enough plot that’s entertaining enough if you’re willing to just suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the movie.

All in all, a great movie to laugh and enjoy.
