i feel like the project sekai community has a very warped perception of relationships (not just romantic). i don’t think a lot of people understand how they grow and change over time, or the nuances in every human interaction. or maybe they do in real life, and just have a hard time applying that to fiction. either way, it’s how you get people saying that akito and an hate each other or that saki x toya shippers are endorsing incest.

technically, 2 variations 😉

if you're on the Witch route and have flirted with both Li and Bas at least once (and haven't flirted with Az at all), then it'll be Sebastian's coat thrown over you, and Li will be the one to wake you up

conversely, if you're on the Detective route and have flirted with both of them, then it'll be Li's coat and Bas will wake you up

there's also a poly variation for the arrival scene if you didn't nap in the car, and has the same requirements! though it doesn't vary based on route

adding things like that was one of my favorite parts of the rewrite. the coding is complex enough that I simply didn't have the skill to add as much variation the first time through as I did the second time
