Hey Lulu, let me ask you something. If ever the creators of the steamworld series decided to make a movie adaptation for steamworld. What do you think of what kind of animation should the movies use, and what should it be about?

Oh this is actually something I've thought about in the past lol. Re: animation style my first choice is, hands-down, stop-motion. Specifically Laika's flavor of stop-motion. It would SO fit the Steambots and combined with how Laika implements VFX. It would be SO sick. My second choice would probably be Sony Animation's recent style of CGI

As for the story I actually think an adaptation of Dig 2 would be pretty cool. There's a very high emotional stake in the story that a movie can dive very deep into, show what's going on in Dorothy's head and such. And maybe also give a hell of a lot more foreshadowing as to what's really happening with Rusty and what Rosie's doing lol. Otherwise I think it would be best to do an entirely new story for a movie. Maybe like another alternate perspective of Steambots somewhere else on the world building a rocket to escape from the Earth

well, it depends. (Also ThANK YoU for liking my design hhhh)

Usually, most kelpies (in my lore) during the monster form have kelp for or in their hair, patches of rough scales on the ends of their limbs, and basically the gills and fins and all that Y/N has. In a human form, it probs wouldn’t change your physical appearance apart from the kelp and skin.

However, there are some exceptions.

Some stronger kelpies have a “higher” form than this, usually resembling another animal with monstrous forms (for example, a horse or crocodile or snake or something with kelp, obviously)

If you were a kelpie, you would usually get to earn your “higher” form with other kelpies.

This isn’t the case with y/n though

It has been 14 hours since I found out that, according to Kubo, Byakuya calls Renji by his given name "because Rukia does" and I am obsessed with this information.

This is both the best and worst possible answer to this question. I feel like if you asked Byakuya, this is exactly the reason he would give. However, if Rukia were present, she would lose her damn mind. While I do think Rukia's assertion that Byakuya didn't look at her even once in 40 years is hyperbole, over that time I can imagine Renji's name coming up in conversation once, maybe twice tops.

Like, two weeks before she goes on her fateful mission to the Living World, B's been shortlisting Vice-Captain candidates, and over dinner, real casual:

B: Rukia. You know your friend?

Rukia: My who now?

B: That friend of yours who shouts too much. The boorishly tall one. With the red hair. Is he in Squad Eleven now?

Rukia (wracking her brain frantically for people Byakuya would consider 'her friend'): You mean Renji?

B: Yes, him.

Rukia: What about him?

B: Is he in Squad Eleven? The Sixth Seat?

The next day, Byakuya's office, Renji shows up for his job interview.

In your waterpark Au... Do Sun and Moon let high school students volunteer as lifeguards during the summer? I could see Sun and Moon proudly bragging about their students to random people at the park and said kids behind them trying to get them to stop or just plain groaning in embarrassment. Without saying too much (I am currently writing the au shhhhh) I will tell you unfortunately for most the past and the current present there are no human staff and the waterpark is entirely run and maintained by animatronics.

Sun and Moon as well as all the Tiki bots were designed to also fill the role as the park’s lifeguards, many robot eyes are constantly surveying the premise’s. The tiki bots are able to pull people from the water but only sun and moon are designed to perform CPR (I talk a little more about this in a previous ask)

Butttttt If the boys did have human staff they would absolutely be bragging as well as messing with them. The teens would especially be embarrassed by the boys praises and smothering in front of all the parks guests while they’re still on shift. The boys have no shame in expressing their fondness for the staff. All employees would be family no matter how short their time there may have been, Sun and Moon will always remember. They never forget a face after all hehe.

I know you don’t do story reversals (which I agree with!!) but I wonder what you think an au of ‘what’s mine is yours is ours’ would look like if it was master Anakin impregnating young knight Obi-Wan? Would Anakin be quicker to believe the baby was his or nah?

so if I recall correctly obi-wan and anakin had been like mostly a sure thing courting-wise in what’s mine is yours is ours and so obi-wan isn’t just disbelieving that it’s his because he never ever slept with anakin but he’s also super betrayed - it’s only his love for anakin that allows him to compartmentalize the betrayal and embarrassment and hurt enough to go after anakin and then talk with him rationally

but like. I can’t really see master anakin being capable of that. I feel like he’d leave the moment the council says that obi-wan is pregnant (before they can even say that obi-wan is saying it’s his) and then he’d probably be very angry and either lash out at everyone around him and explode OR disappear for a few days and then reappear at obi-wan’s door fully intent on finding out who it was that dared to touch his padawan when they were going to be together they were courting they were going to be mated who did he sleep with how dare he betray anakin like that etc etc

like I can’t see a fic where master anakin handles the momentary betrayal the same way - he’d be a whole lot darker and angrier about the entire thing up until the moment obi-wan was able to offer him physical proof that he hadn’t been betrayed at all (probably via force feeling of the baby signatures or something idk where obi-wan forcefully makes anakin touch his stomach and feel their force signatures)

so would a master anakin believe it faster? nah I think he’d draw it out. fully plan out a few murders of the most likely candidates. whine to the chancellor about the whole thing, toe the line of outright falling to the sith before going back to obi-wan to demand closure and facts first only for obi-wan to be spitting mad now in his own right because it turns out his silver tongue means nothing if his master refuses to be around to hear him explain
