Umbriel will be attending a underwater royal gala and so I needed to draw them an outfit that was as extra and dramatic as they are.

Here's a little pic of my voidsoul genasi Vacio being impresssed by Mokho's prestidigitation, which we can all agree is a pretty cool spell.
I sooo can't wait to use them in a session one day. The aberrant soul sorcerer and graviturgist wizard totally tick all my flavor boxes and I've got plans for both of them, like Mokho wanting to travel the Far Realm as an example.
Art is by @peppercandie
Boyos are mine.

another old OC, Ezra. I was thinking about him as a voidsoul genasi, or something.

so I love D&D and I’m kind of astounded by how much depth there is in the game, especially when it comes to player options, but I am also the kind of person who is never satisfied and constantly seeks more content, so to address what I felt like were some gaps in 5e lore, I did a thing
below the cut I put together some homebrew player stat blocks for satyrs and fauns, as well as storm, ice, ooze and void genasi. I know I only have like 5 followers who play D&D but feedback is appreciated!
SATYR: Medium fey
Originally from the Feywild, on occasion groups of satyrs can be found on the Material Plane roaming forested areas in caravans, working as traveling performers or merchants. These caravans are treated with a reserved optimism by many mortal races; satyrs are typically good-aligned and can provide great boons and festivities, but like all fey they can be fickle and strange.
 DEX +2, CHA +1
Speed: 30ft.
Sure-footed: ignore non-magical difficult terrain
Fey Ancestry: you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep
Skill Proficiencies: you gain proficiency in Performance
Ram: your horns count as natural weapons, you can ram a target for 1d4+1 bludgeoning damage
Languages: you speak common, elvish and sylvan
FAUN: Medium fey
Fauns are somewhat humanoid but have the legs of a deer and antlers that they shed just before spring, and grow back with velvet in late summer. Occasionally they will manifest other deerlike features, such as a wet black nose, a smattering of white spots, or the ears of a deer. Similar to satyrs, fauns also originally hail from the feywild but are more solitary and less chaotic. Fauns have vague social circles amongst each other and keep loose relationships with elves, gnomes, halflings and humans who live near the forested areas they inhabit.
 WIS +2, DEX +1
Fleet of Foot: your speed is 40ft. and you ignore non-magical difficult terrain
Fey Ancestry: you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Skill Proficiencies: pick two from Nature, Animal Handling, Perception and Medicine
Languages: you speak common, sylvan and a common language of your choice
STORMSOUL GENASI: Medium humanoid (planetouched)
Exceedingly rare, Stormsoul genasi have been imbued by planar forces from the borders of the Plane of Elemental Air or the Plane of Lightning itself. Tending towards chaos or neutrality, they are rarely, if ever, lawful. The few that wander the Material Plane are treated as strange curiosities, and sometimes even captured and revered as gods by primitive societies. Stormsoul genasi tend to be blue, purple or dark grey in color and often have lightning-like marks traced along their bodies or sometimes crystals growing from their heads that emit a slight glow. In an extreme emotional state they can even give off sparks of static electricity.
 STR +2, CHA +1
Speed: 30ft.
Elemental Resistance: when dealt lightning damage, cut the damage taken in half
Electric Grip: you know the shocking grasp cantrip, once you reach third level you can cast shatter as a 2nd level spell, at fifth level you can give one creature you can touch resistance to lightning damage as if by the protection from energy spell
Static Pool: you have an innate reserve of electricity that can be used in combat. As a bonus action you can charge a metal weapon, adding 1d8 lightning damage to its next strike, or as a reaction you can deal 1d8 lightning damage to an opponent when struck with a melee metal or natural weapon. This ability recharges after
Forecast: you can accurately predict weather in the area for the next 24 hours, with the exception of magical effects
Languages: you speak common and Primordial
FROSTSOUL GENASI: Medium humanoid (planetouched)
Frostsoul genasi have been imbued with the power of the elemental plane of ice, either through a supernatural force, or arcane meddling. Many lead solitary lives in arctic climes but others are compelled to adventure, often seeking answers about their heritage. Chill to the touch, Frostsoul Genasi often have pale, wintry complexions and sometimes icy crystalline protrusions coming from their scalp in place of hair. A thin layer of frost often forms on their skin if they remain still for too long
 CON +2, INT +1
Speed: 30ft.
Elemental Resistance: when dealt cold or fire damage, cut the damage taken in half
Frozen Shell: as an action you can cloak yourself in icy spikes, dealing 1d8 piercing damage to foes that make contact upon which the spikes are destroyed, once you reach third level you can cast armor of Agathys as a 2nd level spell, at fifth level you can give one creature you can touch resistance to fire damage as if by the protection from energy spell
Snowshoes: ignore difficult terrain resulting from ice, snow or other non-magical frozen effects
Languages: you speak common and Primordial
OOZESOUL GENASI: Medium humanoid (planetouched)
Oozesoul genasi have been affected in one way or another by the para-elemental plane of Ooze, leaving its mark on them for life. Often victims of prejudice by those who mistakenly believe them to be somehow tied to the demon lord, Juiblex, Oozesoul Genasi often live solitary lives on the fringes of society, in the wild as caretakers of swamps or marshes and in urban settings often maintaining sewer and drainage systems. They are often stocky or well-built, and colored with earthy and greenish tones. Some have skin or hair that appear to be constantly slick with goo.
 WIS +2, CON +1
Speed: 30ft.
Poison Resistance: when dealt poison or acid damage, cut the damage taken in half
Amphibious: you can breathe both air and water and have a swimming speed of 30ft.
Greasy: you have advantage on saving throws against being restrained by non-magical effects
Noxious Nature: you know the acid splash and poison spray cantrips
Proficiencies: you gain proficiency in either medicine or survival
Languages: you speak common and Primordial
VOIDSOUL GENASI: Medium humanoid (planetouched)
Potentially the rarest of all planetouched humanoids, Voidsoul Genasi often look like waifish versions of their earthly counterparts, devoid of color and with solid black eyes that appear completely hollow. Rumors of Voidsoul Genasi are often dismissed even by planar academics as myth, while more sinister arcanists may be compelled to capture and study these genasi for their own nefarious purposes. They are known for their ability to consume massive quantities of food and drink despite their worryingly thin appearance as well as their soft voices that seem to echo in any environment.
 DEX +2, INT +1
Speed: 30ft.
Superior Darkvision: you can see in black and white through both magical and non-magical darkness to a range of 60ft.
Hunger of the Void: you can magically store items in a personal pocket dimension. The pocket dimension has the same qualities as a bag of holding except that is requires no presence on the Material Plane. Upon death, the contents of this dimension are scattered in random locations within 50ft. of you.
Proficiencies: you have proficiency in stealth
Hollow Resistance: when dealt thunder damage, cut the damage taken in half
Cantrips: you know the thaumaturgy and eldritch blast cantrips
Languages: you speak common and Primordial

Help me name this nerd! I am considering Remy, Robin, Wren, Artemis, Aurora, and I am open to more ideas! They’re my Arcane Trickster, and they play their own games. <3 They’re a dust and voidsoul genasi--but we don’t follow traditional naming conventions in our games so that isn’t really like a problem.

My newest D&D kid is an arcane trickster--a dustsoul genasi who developed a voidsoul in adolescence. They’re very quick and punchy, but also will poof into shadow and dust if you scare them/surprise them.
