You could hear the chirps of the tiny birds resting on your window sill as you opened your eyes, the morning chill warded off by Seokjin’s warm body wrapped around you, his face nuzzling the crook of your neck. You smiled, relishing the moment before opening your eyes, the hazy early sun greeting your eyes as it bathed your room in a soft glow from the drapes you had left undrawn the night before.

Yawning contentedly, you loosened his grip around you to sit up, only for him to cling onto your legs, humming as he snuggled his face into your hip. Mornings were his favourite. He savoured the quiet times he could lose himself next to you, tethering between consciousness as your scent engulfed him. No matter how many times he had woken up next to you, it never got old for Seokjin.

You reached for your phone on your bedside table, starting your routine of checking your notifications as your fingers aimlessly caressed Seokjin’s bare back, making him smile as he placed a little kiss on your hip. You had never felt more comfortable as you scrolled through social media, liking your friends’ adventures from over the weekend.

Your brows furrowed in confusion at Jungkook’s response, your hand pausing where it was running through Seokjin’s hair as you tried to parse through the bizarre conversation. Next to you, Seokjin groaned, his hand on top of yours as he tried to coax you back into stroking his scalp. You instead opted to smack him, making him whine as he pulled away from you, looking up at you groggily.

“Seokjin, wake up!” you demanded, shoving your phone into his face, so he could familiarize himself with your friends’ musings this morning. He pinched your thigh in rebelion, earning another swat from you before leaning up on one elbow and reading the chat from your phone, squinting at the abnormally bright screen. He wondered how your eyesight was still intact.

“It’s at eleven!” he whined, falling back onto the pillows, rubbing his face with both hands. “We have like two hours!”

“What? Not that!” you exclaimed, hitting him once again on the stomach, the skin on skin contact making a satisfying smack.

“Stop hitting me!” he groaned, finally sitting up, his dark hair sticking up in odd angles around his head, and you had to stop yourself from cooing at his sleepy state.

“Why do they think we’re a couple?” You turned to face him, arms crossed with a scowl on your face and Seokjin rolled his eyes at your antics.

“Because we are… Did you hit your head?” he asked condescendingly, a small smile puffing his cheeks as he patted you on top of your head. You shoved his hand away, glaring at him.

“Since when?”

“Like six months ago? Are you serious?” Seokjin couldn’t believe he was dealing with just a dumb argument right after waking up, his brows furrowed in irk as he crossed his arms. Were you just trying to get some angry sex? He wanted to go back to cuddling. Although, he wouldn’t mind some sex right now. The way his shirt molded to your breasts was enough to get him going.

“Am I serious? Are you serious?” you asked, flabbergasted, pulling his attention away from your chest to your face, just in time for him to see you roll your eyes.

“How do you not know we’ve been dating for six months?! We live together!” Seokjin moved his hands as he spoke, fully exasperated at his girlfriend’s early morning senseless interrogation.

“We do not live together!” you argued, mirroring Seokjin’s aggravation as you fully turned to face him.

“When’s the last time you went back to your apartment?” he asked, an eyebrow raised in challenge.

“That is not the point!” you yelled, lifting your hand to smack him again, only for Seokjin to catch your wrist before you could reach him.

“Careful baby, you don’t want me to punish you now, do you?” he said with fiery eyes as his grip tightened, and his sudden dominant tone made you want to forget about a certain development in your relationship and let him spank you silly. But you were still too hung up on semantics to let your lust take over. Why did everyone think you were dating? You were just friends with benefits who just happened to hang out everyday in between having sex.

“Seokjin,” you whined, prying your wrist from his grip. “When did we start dating?”

“After the cockwarming thing? Did you actually think this was still platonic?” Seokjin asked, finally realizing that you were in fact, very serious about not knowing that the two of you were dating. He thought it was pretty obvious. Friends did not just randomly kiss each other whenever the mood struck, or go on dates, or just cuddled when they slept.

“I mean… I don’t know…”

“Y/N, I took you to the best restaurant in the city for Valentines, I bring you flowers every time I go to the grocery store. We have matching rings for crying out loud!” He exasperated, grabbing your hands with his, the two platinum rings shining side by side in the morning sun. You stared at your intertwined hands in awe. Oh, so you were actually an idiot.

“I thought… I thought they were friendship rings…” You trailed off as Seokjin let go of your hands, falling on the bed with a defeated groan, hiding his face under a pillow. You felt the pieces finally falling into place, the way he always woke you up with a kiss, the way he picked you up from work every day despite it being fifteen minutes out of the way, and the way his eyes glimmered every time he looked at you, shining with adoration. You couldn’t believe you had been so blind.

You called his name, trying to pry the pillow off his face, but he hugged it tighter, refusing to let go. Burrowing into the covers, you laid on top of him, opting for a new strategy and burying your face under the pillow as well. His hands finally let the pillow go, resting on your lower back as he hugged you closer, and you sighed against his neck, making goosebumps erupt. He hated that you had this effect on him, hated that it was seemingly one-sided, even though he was sure it wasn’t. He didn’t think he needed to ask you to be his girlfriend, he didn’t think you wouldn’t be on the same page as him. You were always on the same wavelength; ten years of friendship had that effect.

“I’m sorry,” you mumbled, your lips trailing on his neck as he tried to hide the way a blush seemed to blossom on his ears. He only grunted in response, a hand coming to remove the pillow from over your faces as he looked away in embarrassment, choosing to focus on the little birds nesting on his window than the way you felt, so soft and plush on top of him.

You moved up, resting on your forearms around his head, and you gently brought his face towards you, watching the way he pouted, not looking you in the eye. You chuckled at his grumpiness, kissing him gently, and he wrapped his arms around you tighter in response, deepening the kiss.

“In my defence, you never asked,” you joked, and he scowled in response.

“You could’ve asked,” he said petulantly, pinching your butt.

“I mean, I still thought we were platonic,” you giggled, but instead of the smile you expected, his face fell, looking away once again.

“We can’t be platonically in love, Y/N,” he said quietly, his hands falling away from you, but you were too busy focusing on not going into cardiac arrest. His words were like a chorus in your head, singing ethereally, a lump forming in your throat.

“We’re in… love?” you whispered, and Seokjin felt a weight on top of his chest. He hadn’t meant to just blurt it out. He had planned a romantic picnic with kimbap with extra pickled radish just the way you liked. He wanted to show you that you were it for him, the only one he would ever want, the only one he had ever wanted, but the shock on your face made his blood run cold, his confidence faltering.

“I am… aren’t you?” He turned his head, closing his eyes, wanting to delay the inevitable way you were going to break his heart.

“Yes,” you whispered, and the speed at which he looked at you probably rattled his brain. Perhaps that was the reason his eyes were starting to water, and his heart was trying to escape his chest. You smiled at his reaction, overwhelmed with an urge to coo at your usually guarded friend — well, boyfriend now, you supposed.

But before you could act on your desire to pinch his flushed cheeks, his hand was behind your neck, pulling your face to his and crashing your lips together in a flurry of tongue and teeth. Although the kiss started rough, it quickly melted into a gentle slurry, his tongue roaming yours, savouring your taste as if he hadn’t kissed you before. His hand moved down your spine, softly caressing your skin over your shirt as if stringing the strings on a guitar, your blood thrumming to his melody. When he reached his other hand on your hip, he flipped you over, hovering over you, and finally breaking your kiss.

“I can’t believe you thought we were platonic while literally being in love with me,” he huffed, still annoyed but still kissing your cheek at the sheepish look you gave him in return. You recovered quickly, cupping his face as you gazed into his eyes, finally realizing that the way they softened was indeed him looking at you with love.

“I love you, Seokjin,” you murmured, enjoying the grin that pulled his plush lips apart, puffing his cheeks and scrunching his eyes.

“And I love you, Y/N,” he replied, kissing you once again, never wanting to stop.

Needless to say, you both were late to couples brunch.

So Declan loved me and we talked about science and lab babies and clones and all that. So He told me he loved me because i was the first person to really really listen and understand as opposed to being the one to teach.

And so he had understood what he was taught then developed and built upon it correctly with help from his own brain and God. And del Muerte whom helped me understand as well cause that shit was mind blowing.

So he asked me to have his soul mate. To give birth to her.

And I was pretty much dragged out and Declan ran the show after that.

I agreed but it was more like a thing where i had to focus and talk instead of fainting.

So Matt actually helped to implant because I have an upturned uterious and so things like that are painful because of the rigidity and non flexible as i need materials used while Jeremiah comforted and helped me relax.

So then essentially i was kidnapped.

Declan is part clone and part Neanderthal.

Annabelle is part clone and part Neanderthal.

So some of us from Michael Jackson's boarding school --- although I wasn't i stayed there alot on my own. So i was part of it, unofficially as i am a civilian doing military shit now. --- have clones in a laboratory. But they are miniature human size as they are kept in barbie size containers.

Since Declan was a clone Jesse gave permission to make, they said i should use a clone.

It took 5 eggs until Declan approved the child that would be created in the embryo. Del Muerte communicated to us what God said.

Most males get their soul mates at age 7. Declan was only 2 years old. So God hadnt had enough experience to program or create his perfect soulmate.

So it just so happened it was 2 years of plus 5 embryos which makes the year 7 while added together.

So when Annabelle was born Declan came to get me and her but my now ex-husband got me all fucked up and i had amnesia and all that and i remember the power struggle type issues while signing the birth certificate which is why i get child support as my ex swore bla bla bla and signed papers to those statements but I was all "Dude while he's signing let's run!" Because he pissed me off during that time and i was all no hes wrong and all... But I guess I was scared of him or his aura csused me confusion or Idk. I remember feeling sick.

So craziness. We are 16 years late. And unfortunately yet fortunately a lot of research was done and i have a lot of government apology money coming my way. Which i don't have yet.... But soon.

This is Cambria AvaLynn named after Alexis Dejoria.

Because Matt's parents were into hiding, they named him after a mat. A common object so in case of ESP feom the people they hid from they would think "welcome mat" like welcome to travel with us son named Matt. Welcome to eat at the dining table, Matt. Well, come, Matt.

So came or come because i would always want to see Matt so I would say "You came!!!" When i saw him and hug him and he would say "welcome"

And Bria after me.

Turning the x into a v (for Victory) and Lynn as in the 80s most of my friends on the military base i lived on has Lynn as their middle names. So to remind me she is a friend.

She's my child that was ectopic due to the sponges Jamie & Doug Otis found and reminded us of. But we went to the hospital because i began to hemmoragge and they were able to save her and her twin.

Then my mom killed her and he died naturally as he was in ICU TO experiment on them being raised/healed as premies temporarily as one within an incubator and the other skin to skin contact. As woman need to be comforted more, we picked Ava to bring home.

They were the first experiment with soul mates being born as twins. Both clones of my and Jeremiah and his being Ava and my being the male Andrew.

Andrew after Jesse... "And he drew" cause he was always drawing beautifully.

And the other clones were of Jesse James and Alexis.

Alexis got kidnapped by her dad and so the story goes... I did too Eventually

Jeremiah's dad helped us as the grandparent in house.

This is Declan.

He told Jeremiah "I'm not the one sitting around waiting with a pouted lip waiting for someone to do it for me. Now i found the woman and go get my kid!!"

Dude WTF I'm not having someones kid... I'm only 21!!

"Now im the man around the house and what I say goes!!! And you are going to have my kid!!"

Dude whatever. So i did dream into the lab with them but... I thought we were just playing and so i agreed and so next thing i knew there was a frozen child ready to be implanted. Thus my ability to be kidnapped so easily...

Cause when a kid is all telling you about clones and labs and shit... And you're hearing voices... that shit is insane. Literally.

So i didn't take it seriously enough.

But Declan is only 19 Now. And my kid is 16.

So it's old enough to have a romantic relationship. To avoid issues i had as a child with social services.

The plan was to have them grow up as friends but also believed it may been too dangerous....

Yet I still don't agree that it was.

However for the last 10 year's I have been working daily for my amnesia to be solved and also saving the world (of NHRA especially) at the same time.

And have earned multiple Nobel Peace Prizes which i have yet to receive.

So working on law enforcement and the military and government, about to break into the public school system and tear that up ;) as a civilian has earned me billions of dollars i have yet to receive....

But i have given away as i can and have bought businesses that I want.

As proof that the government does care about all its people's hopes and dreams they have bought them on my behalf and am gsining bank! And i shop st my own businesses too... Ironically! I been shopping at Loves for nearly a year... went into Speedway a few times now i drive an extra 5 miles just to shop there because i like it more!!

Robert, the shift manager finally told me tonight as I bought all the GIANTS for my Giant 6'7" man. And i turned the ones in Valencia County to Speedway in honor of Aaron and Paul (twins) who wanted to show the dangers of meth and the meth community as they honored me with my idea of how to end Breaking Bad with the movie reel of El Camino (the mother road) of the manner of the psychological reality of life gone wrong.

I freak Robert out... He was worried when he saw me there that I was to audit like a monster, fire everyone and work the cash register and store myself.

So tonight he saw I bought milkshakes (not available at Love's) figured it out and gave me a pack of smokes for free and blurted out why.

So i took all the giants as i always do and fucked them all up and made them better.

So i own them till i make my money back on the businesses and then they get given to who I intended it for... As I do double check they will always be worthy... If not i keep them for me because I was being good snd honest and fair the whole time.

So 360° K i own.

So i only compete with Love's whom I always promised the King's Highway to... You know him... As an old time Western Thug bitch ass womanizer player. Motorcycle Guru. Hot Rod extraordinaire. Texas loving son of a gun. Jesse James Smith! Just kidding... Just regular old ole fogie mad scientist Jesse Gregory Smith. Of West Coast Choppers. Which i own and always have as i put up the money for his business intending to always be in his life and helping him. So my apology... The only one i can ever give as i can't predict the future without help is Love. And he loves everyone and won't let Google tell.

I bought every gas station in the country as we will be switching to electric and hydro electric and non fuel and solar and hybrid autos by 2030. So the previous owners have a nice retirement and no stress. As the storage oil facilities that were shot in Saudia Arabia were actually empty. I own them.

Fossil fuels are actually the blood of dinosaurs and other dead bodies that are converted and broken down and dehydrated by plant life...

I found that out by the eternal bushes burning.. I mean growing... here on the mountain. Tumble weeds otherwise known as thyme. And we found via satellite tons of skeletons by Earth xrays under the bushes and some not as they are closer to the Earth surface. I found a wooly mammoth knuckle bone.

We moved here in 2002 and there was a patch of earth that looked like concrete by the mail boxes and we just drove over them assuming that's what it was.

They were mummified wooly mammoths. Now broken up and scattered all over the desert road.

I would not like my blood which could potentially bring me back to life wasted on a car... For someone to get to a job they hate. So no more. Not from the USA anyways.

One night I was at dinner and i said Obama needs to handle thwt South Dakota pipeline. My dad was all what is he supposed to do? All simple solutions were crap and had an argument. I said "then lie! Tell the American people they are scum! Tell them we opened the pipeline up and the pipes broke and destroyed the precious land that needs to be protected." My dad laughed and i felt kinda stupid for being so angry.

But Uncle Donald heard my point and so thats exactly what he did. Fake news? Its real.

Because he saw the change I made in the NHRA with some lies that laid very close to the truth.

You don't need to believe in reincarnation for it to happen. I didn't until about 6 months ago. But my mom's mom and my great aunt my grandma's sister ... Granny Bessie Heltons 2 daughters did. My grandma explained it to me one night when I was 18 as i had asked my Great Aunt Nita i was closer to but she didn't explain she just said "because i do" And the dictionary explaination i already knew. But my grandma traveled with me like y'all know i do And showed me.

We started in Heaven with only having one human life and having the soul figure of a human that we select. Hers was a teenage body, absolutely beautiful. With her old ass mind and experience. I told her what I wanted was to be a child. A dirty raggedy haired barefoot blonde without a care in the world, feeling smarter than I feel now... Because that is when i was happiest. When i saw i could end pain and suffering with death, when i knew life could escape heart ache, even when evil exist.

And so now on her second cat life with me, as her first caused her kidnapping by the same drug induced psycho piece of shit that arrested and molested Jesse James dog, Coco and her untimely death as I did record in Tumblr. "Sister Kitty" was kidnapped by him, hes in a special jail. He just had his pinkie finger nail and big toe nail removed as he did kidnap Mogar and slice his face and slice Kizzys leg. So in order to understand what he did he agreed to similar punishment as he did to our precious cargo...

Me: who do i have to convince?

Jesse: Idk Jeremiah?

Me: Ava who is your dad?

Ava: Idk I guess not Jeremiah?? IDK!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TELL!? you all always told me they are both my dad's. Let me ask God. Oh! Jesse! ..... And Jeremiah

Me: your dad is your dad and dad he will always be no matter shine or high water, love will always be there for you and for me. Alexis, do you know that one?

She nods all teary..

Jesse: well did i get loves?!

Me: uhh yes ass hole! We always love you back. What do you want with a gas station with no gas? That's like having a family with out us, most especially me!

Jesse: well it got gas now!!!

Me: well gas up at your local, bring a truck. I got a lot of stuff.

Declan: you hear her? Most especially me! Me! Well, me too, you better pick me up.

Me: Jesse... You ready for Orlando?? I got a Chase bank account with the Princess Castle on the debit card... Just needs a little cash in the account.

Jesse: You Mean You Will Pay!!!

Me: i see that was not a question so that does not deserve a response. But yes. I am suppose to have a wire transfer per last night's discussions that will pay for it.

Jesse: WHOA SHIT!

Me: Jeremiah you down?

Jeremiah: to pay Miss Giant Owner?

Me: uhh I'm Miss Speedyway now. No.. Carry me through times square after some Disney World Fun!

Jeremiah: FUCK YES!! uhh yes thank you for inviting me. I will go

Matt Hagan: look look at this. Im the best friend i even got her kid named after me

Me: Matt Hagan... Looks like you're invited, The Best Friend. In or out of Disney World for the hotel.

Matt: IN!!

Me: youre definitely going you know how to do it right! Pops... You gonna stay home alone with your woman?

Pops: not if i don't have to

M3: you don't

NXT Takeover: Stand and Deliver Day 1 - Review

It is Wrestlemania Week, and every company wants their shot

but alas, I can only do so much, so we’re gonna be sticking with Mania and Stand & Deliver for now. I do also have some other WWE post-mania stuff planned which I’ll also do for AEW Double or Nothing in May

but in spite of Dynamite still doing a decent ‘not gonna try to top it’ show, the night belongs to NXT so let’s get into it

Spoilers for Stand & Deliver Day 1, you have been warned

Pre Show I had to add this in because Sam Roberts really laid in thick the bravado, NXT is great but chill man. Seeing Io and Raquel enter the building was a good touch though. The Samoa Joe interviews were good too but damn I miss this man in the ring, it kinda threw me how well-spoken WALTER is, he’s kinda giving me the same vibe as Daniel Bruhl’s Zemo currently is in Falcon & The Winter Soldier, also interviewing Io proves that if the company’s hot on you promo game isn’t necessary to be a great champion, also Io has put Rey over more than the main roster has in the last 3 years. The shoehorned Prince Harry comment was not needed that’s not gonna get a pop but mercifully we moved on to other interviews, LA Knight still does a great promo and hearing that Mickie James will be on commentary for the pre-show match was interesting.

Zoey Stark def. Toni Storm (Pinfall via Inside Cradle) Zoey Stark has been making quite some noise since her NXT Debut, similar to Utami Hayashishita’s start in Stardom and Leyla Hirsch in AEW it was mainly revolving around Zoey getting over even in defeat to big names. She started fairly even with Toni Storm with some solid chain wrestling, Toni was able to keep Stark grounded with submissions, which worked well for Zoey to feed off the babyface comeback, landing a big superplex. A flurry of an exploder and running knee hit two but then Toni came back with an electric chair facebuster, Toni tried Storm Zero but failed, so went for the Germans, tried the Storm Zero again but Stark counters it into a cradle for 3. It was a decent pre-show match, Stark gets a rub from winning but I get the feeling the rub should be bigger, Toni Storm is still good but her stock has dropped since her heel turn designed merely to lose to Io, the match finished a bit abruptly too.

Main Card Nita Strauss then guitars the anthem, ‘Merica and stuff on a PPV themed around Pirate and Highwayman motifs, as well as an Adam Ant song. The Skull is awesome though.

Pete Dunne def. KUSHIDA (Pinfall via Bitter End) Technical masterclass would of course be an understatement for this match. A minute in it was quickfire joint manipulation and reversals. Dunne took the early advantage after catching KUSHIDA and landing an X-Plex onto the apron, the injured arm didn’t slow KUSHIDA too much who did the handspring elbow and the Muta pele kick on the ramp. Dunne tried for the Kimura and the Bitter End but KUSHIDA escaped twice over, the latter catching a Back to the Future (small package driver). Dunne resumed control though in handling the arm, it might just be me but the audio was cutting out at this point. Cross Armbreakers traded and escaped as the arm began to slowly come into play, but KUSHIDA started handling Dunne’s arm too, a Top Turnbuckle Hoverboard Lock Spanish Fly also led to an armbreaker escaped by the ropes, another Hoverboard lock almost led to a pin. Dunne manipulates the digits of the other hand, which hurts KUSHIDA’s punch attempt, stomps on both hands twice over and then a Bitter End finishes the night.

That did not feel like 10 minutes, it was a great and well-paced match, wish it went longer. I anticipated that Dunne would win but one has to worry for KUSHIDA, even on his best WWE run he’s not able to win a feud, he didn’t leave NJPW for that.

Bronson Reed wins the Eliminator Gauntlet (Pinfall via Tsunami Splash on Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott) At first I thought Leon Ruff had botched his entrance until Swerve showed up, looking far different to the Killshot of Lucha Underground. Before the bell rang Ruff got hit into the barricade a lot and then an ad!? Dude, come on, the bell rings and they’re outside the ring again... Of course, it’s hard to start a pace for a Gauntlet, Ruff hit a lovely twisting Cutter as commentary ignored how his NA Title win was mainly a segue in the Gargano/Priest feud, a super frankensteiner was the big move before the next man came in: Bronson Reed. Ruff’s dive is caught and thrown back in the ring, Swerve planted with a combo suplex/crossbody before Ruff foolishly tried to attack Reed again, getting sat on a few times before Reed german’d Ruff and Swerve at the same time. Grimes came in next, delaying his entrance to distract Reed and land a moonsault, he bribes Swerve for a partnership which works for a decent while, Ruff got a big ouch suplex on the turnbuckle pads after some very slippery escapes. The arrival of Dexter Lumis involved super creepy eyes inside the Skull model but we missed most of Swerve finishing off Ruff. Lumis cleaned house until Reed recovered from the ramp DDT, Lumis even lifting Reed on the second time of asking before another big ouch ring-out with Grimes. LA Knight was last, his diss promos not as good as his earlier promo as Reed cut him off short and cleaned up house himself. Knight does get a good spur including a quickfire superplex but pauses when Lumis shows up, Grimes’ cheap shot misses and the Silence is locked in, but Knight rolls him for 3. Bit deflating that really, Lumis was the only one with story against Gargano and he kinda got chump pinned because he didn’t wanna release his finisher. Knight fell quickly after though, Grimes and Reed teaming up to end him, Lumis then locking the Silence onto him - probably setting up a feud there.

The final three ended all chance of alliances, Reed comically flattening both men when after a delayed fall from a superkick. Grimes and Swerve both try a handful of tights to pin each other, but Swerve’s one pays off. Swerve also powerslams Reed onto the apron and then hits a 450 for 2, two House Calls don’t drop Reed, a third gets 2, but a slap wakes Reed up. Powerbomb, Beach Break (idk the technical name) and Tsunami Splash for 3.

Liked the match, Reed is a worthy winner but I just wish they dealt with Lumis and Grimes better, Gargano came out the ramp to stare down his opponent and we moved on to the next.

NXT UK Championship: WALTER (c) def. Tomasso Ciampa (Pinfall via Knife Edged Chop) Reminder that the UK title is WWE’s best looking active belt because good god it’s glorious.Ciampa stayed on the turnbuckle to stare down WALTER, completely unafraid of the mountain he faces. They lock up but WALTER uses his muscle, looking for those monster chops, one on the turnbuckle preludes a messy drop for Ciampa, Walter’s hand is injured though by the chop of the announce table gimmick breaking, Ciampa works on it but the champion’s big boot earns a reprieve, his submission attempts are futile with the injured hand though so he applies his power and weight to keep on top. A flurry of lariats finally chops WALTER down for an Air Raid Crash, but it’s only for a 2. WALTER northern lights reversal’s a Fairytale Ending for 2 but could not escape the second, still a 2 count though. WALTER’s submission attempts neutralized by the fingers again as Ciampa continues to lay into WALTER’s hands and head, an Avalanche Air Raid Crash then hits for 2 as well, Ciampa at a loss for what he can do, opting to throw his own blistering chops, WALTER gets nasty with a neck twist and two powerbombs but it’s 2 again, Sleeper Exploder and one massive chop gets the 3.

I had heard great things from this match, and it was very well done narratively and physically, but a chop as the finish? Dunno, Ciampa had already taken chops, 2 powerbombs in succession and yet what ends it is a chop from an injured hand? Feel like it could’ve ended more emphatically.

No Thatcher present either, instead we get a Franky Monet (Taya Valkyrie) promo and a Reed/Gargano backstage argument.

NXT Tag Championship: MSK def. Grizzled Young Veterans & Legando del Fantasma (Pinfall by Wes Lee on Zack Gibson via combo Spinebuster/Spinning Blockbuster) Another ad break during LDF’s entrance was disrespectful, the mask was awesome though. Gibson likely not in the best of moods with Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champion’s League first leg but he still flies the colors. LDF control the match at the start with tag offence, Gibson going for MSK off the bat until LDF get in the way. Drake and Carter get some time in the ring but Lee remains on the apron awaiting the hot tag, after a dive LDF comes back to do a dual dive themselves, double Coast to Coast on Carter is broken by Gibson who gets dumped out by the duo and another commercial break (wtf come on!). LDF were getting some great combo moves and rotating in quick tags as Carter continues to be the feeder, Drake almost catches Wilde with a roll up though and Lee gets another hot tag, first clear the ring, then out the ring to Gibson, then to LDF, somersault Pele Kick, combo move for 2. Gibson and Drake almost catch Carter with a Doomsday Device on the outside but Lee nails Drake with a knee, GYV neutralize Lee by hurting the hand as well, Carter holding Lee’s hand to prevent a tap as LDF come back in. They clear the ring, hit the combo move but it’s 2! GYV and MSK take out LDF leaving the two left to fight, a double cutter by Carter takes Drake out of the ring, leading to MSK finishing Gibson with a twisted blockbuster/spinebuster combo. Very much earned for the new champions, exciting match, LDF got a lot of shine too I hope they win the titles later down the line.

NXT Women’s Championship: Raquel Gonzalez def. Io Shirai (c) (pinfall via One-Arm Powerbomb TITLE CHANGE) If Raquel Gonzalez doesn’t win rookie of the year for 2021 it’ll be a travesty, her current run has been built amazingly. Before we started though we see Steph in the crowd with Sarray (Sendai Girls and SEADLINNG’s Sareee). The tunnel cam of the two competitors and the names on the LEDs sold the huge Main Event feel of this match. Side note though, while NXT does tout the most stacked Women’s Division out of the major wrestling companies they shouldn’t peacock themselves, most of their talent are ready made acquisitions with a few like Ripley, Belair and Gonzalez who gritted to the top, just because your division is stacked doesn’t mean that there aren’t cracks, and let’s not forget that ROH barely has a women’s division and NJPW doesn’t have a division at all, if we’re comparing the actual competition Stardom still gives WWE a run for their money having made their stars in Natsupoi, Guilia, Utami, Konami, AZM, Tam Nakano and others.

The match kicks off with a flurry, picking up where they left off last NXT of Gonzalez just boomeranging Io with her size and strength and Io flying back with vigor and athleticism. The champion takes control with a dive out the ring but Dakota rakes her eyes, leading to Dakota being kicked out of ringside immediately. Io hits the apron moonsault but Gonzalez lawn darts her into the ring post, a lovely Dominator-esque move with extra flip brings the advantage fully in the hands of the challenger. Io uses her flexibility to frustrate Raquel and hits a picture perfect hurricanrana, misses the 619 but arm drags into another 619, Yoshi Tonic for 2, tries for the Moonsault but Raquel sets up the One Arm Powerbomb, Io wriggles it into a crossface which is ended by a rope break, Moonsault on the ramp and then a running meteora leads to Io doing the ‘jump off the NXT arena prop), after slowly rolling Raquel into the ring it’s the Moonsault, but it only gets 2! Raquel flattens Io with the One Arm Powerbomb outside of the ring, rolls Io in with some trash talk, Shotei is responded with a Lariat, One Arm Powerbomb and that’s 3!

That was a solid main event, recurring problem though: it was too short! That match went under 15 minutes and while it was jam packed with high spots and power moves we could’ve had more time with Raquel’s crowning moment. I feel like Io could’ve resisted more offence seeing as her Skull crossbody and Moonsault should even out Raquel’s two One Arm Powerbombs. Also they overdid the smoke on her celebration we could barely see her. That being said, this was definitely a worthy usurper to Shirai, Gonzalez at the top of the division will be an interesting new landscape after a year of Shirai as champion. She’s had a good run, I do wish it didn’t involve the Charlotte skulfuckery at the start but she has done well to keep on top of the division during the COVID era and she’s done a good job in making sure the next champion is over.

Conclusion Good wrestling is all you need, and NXT Stand and Deliver stood and delivered strongly on Night 1, there is of course room to top it but that may be the intention. Do wish that some matches went longer but I’m not mad at all with who won, so once more a job well done as NXT end their Wednesday Night Campaign on a high.

History of the NW (part 2)

Before we start, I would like to add that we won't go in details about EVERY SINGLE New Warriors comic ever made. This is not reviews, this is a retrospective. But I do want to devote part two of the NW History to the very first issue f the very first New Warriors series and see what made the unite into the world’s coolest teenage team.

But before that, can we talk about how gosh darn awesome the cover of issue 1 is?!

A lot of team books has a cover with the team members posing, or running at us. But instead of that, the New Warriors are BURSTING trough first issues from different series. AWESOME!!!

And they are all here; Firestar, Marvel Boy, the new hero Night Thrasher, Speedball, Namorita and... Kid Nova?

Yeah, I don't know why they call him that on the cover, they never called him that in the comic(I think Speedball did once). But besides that, it's actually a pretty damn good cover. It captured my eye when I first saw it, and made me buy the comic, simply because I looked awesome and colorful, and I thought that the costumes were pretty cool.

But let's get to the actual story. Remember what I told you about Nova losing his powers? He actually contacted the Fantastic Four in hope that Mr. Fantastic could somehow restore them. After some studies of Rich's body, he discovered that he didn't lose the Nova Force, it were still inside him. But it was inactive. Night Thrasher, an armored superhero, makes a theory(after hacking the FF’s files) that an adrenaline rush might reactivate the Nova Force in Rich. Like a knee-jerk reflex.

So he throws him down from the top of a building.... WTF!?

Yeah, Thrasher is kind of a dick like that. It’s actually an important aspect of his character as well as a resurrecting theme. He is brilliant, but prefers “act first, think later” methods. Needles to say, Rich was kinda pissed, and had for a long time a grudge against Thrasher. But hey, it worked, so Rich agreed to form a superhero theme with him.

And here we have Marvel Boy, who wants to impress the Avengers, so they would ask him to join the team. He does so by breaking in to their private property, more specifically the mansion. Despite this pretty childish (and very illegal) attempt to impress the Avengers, I would like to add that Marvel Boy is in fact actually pretty smart. He has close to encyclopedia knowledge about pretty much anything superhero related, and can name how many super-humans there is in New York... But he can sometimes be kind of a dumb-ass.

After getting saved by Captain America from the Avengers’ security system, Cap tells him that he has only heard good things about him from the Thing, but that the Avengers prefer more experienced heroes. That, and being over 18 helps. But after leaven the Avengers mansion (slightly embarrassed), Marvel Boy gets stopped by Night Thrasher and Nova who offers him a place at their new team.

Kinda odd when you think about that the same guy who threw a guy down from a building to test a theory is all like: "Hey you! Yeah you! Wanna join our vigilante group?"

We learn the Night Thrasher is in fact an extremely wealthy young man named Dwayne Taylor. His parents were killed by criminals, and he has sworn to fight crime and make all criminals pay for what they do to society.… Yeah, okay, I admit it! He is a Batman rip-off! But if you ask me, he is an improved one. Besides the obvious that he wears a million dollar battle-suit instead of skintight spandex, he also realizes that fighting a one-man war against crime, alone in a world with superpowered humans and A.I.M. tech is suicide. And that is why he is gathering a group.

We also get introduced to his legal guardians: Cord, the love child of Alfred Pennyworth and Mr. T, and Tai, the stereotype Chinese old lady, who can say whatever the heck she wants, and it would still sound like wisdom because she speak fluent fortune cookie.

Meanwhile, the former herald of Galactus, and an old enemy of the Fantastic Four named Terrax starts to run amok in Queens, but Namorita is there to fight the depowered, but still very powerful Terrax.

While this is happening, Thrasher has “asked” Firestar to join the team. And by asked, I mean threatened her with exposing her identity… Our hero, everybody! He blackmail people to get his will and throw them off rooftops because of a hunch!

It's needless to say that Angel doesn't take it very well.

But before the very peeved Firestar can rip Night Thrasher a new one, the group, who are soon going to be known as the New Warriors, notice the earthquakes from Queens, made by Terrax, and they take off to face the menace.

They actually do pretty well against Terrax (again, I will remind you that he is depowered at the moment) and here comes the panel that made me truly understand how awesome a comic-book series I had brought:

Night Thrasher fighting Terrax on a skateboard! HELL FREAKING YEAH!!! My inner 90’s kid is playing air guitar right now!

A lot of people makes fun of Thrash for his skateboard, and say that it makes him ridicules. To them, I have this to say: I don’t care how stupid you think it is. THIS is the Marvel U, were you can use a shield as a weapon, a guy with a bow is somehow more effective than one with a gun, and magic can’t cure bullet wounds. So let Thrasher have in skateboard I say!

After fighting Terrax for some time, and Speedball joins the battle, Night Thrasher deducts that Terrax needs to be in contact with the ground, since this is just a temporary form made by earth. So after Thrash orders Nita and Nova to crab him and fly him above the ground... Terrax explodes... Because that’s apparently how it works. Science, ladies and gentlemen!

After the Avengers FINALLY joins the scene (Dude, what the heck took them so long?) and unintended takes all the glory, Night Thrasher says “screw them!” and suggest that the six of them form their own team and focus on the kind of crime that the Avengers are usually to busy to so anything about. They all agree, even Nova, who are still kinda peeved over getting thrown down from rooftops, and they take the name the news-reporters used to describe them; New Warriors. And thus a legend was born!

… A legend Mark Millar used as cannon fodder in Civil War… yeah, I’m still pissed over that.

That was issue one of the first New Warriors series, and I has to say; It's as great as I remember it. First of all, it has great art by Mark Bagley(long-time Spider-Man artist) and it's very colorful. The fight with Terrax is well executed, and even though we only have seen very little of the characters as individuals, we sense that there is some character building coming yet to come. Thrasher, besides being a dick, is a great straight man with his "strictly business" attitude, which is exactly what this bunch of inexperienced and very mixed group of teen-heroes needs to become a fully functional team, if you ask me. Bravo Fabian Nicieza! I'm Waezi2, and thanks for wasting time with me.

So Friday morning, my fiance' and I were headed to New Jersey to visit his family for Christmas. On the way there, I was driving his truck so he could sleep a little before we switched places. I stopped at a red light, which had another light very close behind it which turned green, my idiot self was looking at that light for some reason while our light was still red...I hit the gas and then slammed on my breaks realizing what I was doing but it was too late and I hit a guy on the side of the door. It wasn't a big wreck. The guy didn't fly across the intersection. He didn't even move, his door was just dented and it will definitely need to be replaced but the man said he was not hurt at all. The truck we were driving in barely had damage, just a little dent in the hood that was very small to the eye and a bent license plate. We were in much better shape; but again, he was not in pain and his door was the only thing that seemed to be damaged. ANYWAYS, I received a traffic ticket for failing to obey a traffic light which I totally accept because this was extremely stupid of me and I am planning on mailing the fine to the court. So since I was driving my fiance's car, which is under his parents insurance, I assume my insurance is not affected. The trooper just told us that the other guy's insurance will contact my fiance's insurance. So I am thinking all I have to do is just pay this awful fine. Well my fiance' called me this morning and said that Statefarm (the other guy's insurance) called him asking for my number.
