Max has grown fond of non-race weeks since he started dating you. Your mindset was that "Weekends are for having fun, not working", something that you would pout about early in your relationship whenever he would go train or agree to meetings on non-race weekends. But now, with two weekends off, he's using one to stay at home, currently driving on his sim but the true purpose of his presence was to be at your beck and call. To be there for you to talk endlessly too, to help you with stuff, to be filmed for your YouTube channel, anything. And he was happy to be there to do it.
"Maxie, are we ordering food for lunch or were we planning to go out for it?" You pop your head into the room, doe-like eyes darting between him and the screen facing him.
"We have plenty of food here, my love." He continues the session he was in but pauses it when he doesn't hear your socked feet shuffling away and the faintest whimper come from the open door. "Yeessss…?" He turns his body to get up from his seat and walk over to the door leaning against the frame. You move your body from leaning over to only have your head in view to standing straight up, shyly peering up at him, to which he pushes some locs from in front of your shoulders then tips your head up with a finger. "What is it"
"It's just, there's a cafe that's doing this special latte art to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the creation of Disney, 'cause they have this food printer or something that is able to do it and I was hoping we'd be able to go there today." Your rambling was accompanied by wild hand movements that supplemented your words, a trait you've subconsciously picked up from your boyfriend, and as you neared the end your voice tapered off, unsure of what the response would be from Max.
"Well why didn't you just say so, love?" His voice was a soft, exasperated coo as he reaches to fix your hair again and then uses a hand on either side of your face to make you look at him. All you do is shrug in response, knowing of the short lecture you were about to get. "Baby, first of all, I'm not mad. But didn't we talk about you speaking up more about what you want?"
"I just didn't think it was that important." You tug at the hem of his shirt. Even with his hands angling your face up towards his, you avoided eye contact.
"We talked about this…" He bends down to catch your lips in a quick kiss, then opens his eyes a little wider waiting for you to comment.
"Everything I say has at least some importance…" You receive another kiss and then feel Max's hands move to your waist, gingerly pulling you closer.
"Good. Now, try again." He gives you a little grin to encourage you.
"Hey, I was thinking we could go to this cafe that is doing Disney themed latte art. It looks pretty cool." Your voice fluctuated as you tried to sound more confident in your request, trying to act nonchalant in the process.
“I think that’s a wonderful idea. Let me know when you want to leave.” He gives you one last kiss on the forehead and starts to head back to his game.
“Okay! I’ll let you know. Thank you, baby!” Your mood turns on a dime as you skip off to some other room, a shift which Max just shakes his head at as he restarts the session. About 10 minutes later, Max can hear you mumbling to yourself, sounding like you were straining to grab something, so he stands from his seat again and starts to search for your location, eventually finding you standing on a side table trying to reach your mini tripod that was on the highest shelf of your bookshelf in your office. “Dang it. Get over here. Woah.” You wobble on the table that you forgot was already uneven prompting Max to rush over and steady you.
“Get off the table, please. What do you need? Your tripod?” He stretches up to reach where it is, which was slightly pushed back from the edge of the shelf.
“Yes, please.” You beam up at him as he hands it to you, and once he does your focus goes to the small camera stand, flexing the legs to make it easier to hold, but Max interrupts your focus by lifting your chin to give you a small lingering kiss, forcing you to look into his eyes once he backs up.
“Please never do that again. Just ask if you need help with stuff like that, okay.” His face was softly stern, lifting his eyebrows for emphasis as he spoke. He keeps the same face as he waits for your answer.
“I know, I know. I will, but you know I just start doing something and completely forget about everything else and it makes me forget to ask for help when I need it…" Your words taper off as you go to place the tripod on your desk, but you turn around to Max crossing his arm, eyebrows scrunched in mock concern.
"Yes, I know that. But you need to try and remember to ask for help, I'm always here for you." Max's gaze followed you as you approached him, first taking his crossed arms to turn him toward the door and then moving behind him to start pushing him out. Both you and him knew that if he were really trying you wouldn't be able to move him an inch, but here you were guiding him through the exit of your office.
"Okay, thank you. Now go." You continue to push but feel resistance all of a sudden. You peek your head around to look at Max who was smiling at you. "What?"
"Do I get to be in your vlog?" You roll your eyes at your boyfriend's question, then get back behind him to push again, moving once more.
"You know you're always in my vlogs. Now go. I'll be there in a sec." You finally succeed in getting him across the threshold of your office then turn back around and head back to your desk, starting to fiddle with your small vlogging camera.
“Okay.” Max does as he is told and heads back to his gaming room, sitting down in his seat and putting his headphones, and, after stopping to answer a text or two, starts playing again. After another 20 minutes he hears the patter of your feet, but continues his game waiting to hear your voice.
“Can I come in?” You ask your question while slowly shuffling in. What you don't see fully is how bright and wide Max’s smile is as he feels your presence grow closer.
“Of course you can, baby girl.” He finally ends the session and turns off the game, knowing he probably won’t be able to come back to it for the rest of the day. He removes his feet from the pedals in front of him to place his feet flat on the floor, turning his head to look straight into the small camera you pointed at him.
“Say hi to the people, Max. They love you, you’re their favorite.” You giggle, primarily at the way he waves and then flashes a semi-awkward thumbs up.
“Hello! Now you, what’s up?” He shifts his focus to you, face attentive as he pulls you into his lap by a large hand on your waist.
“So you know how I asked you about going to that cafe today?” You had the camera pointed at you two, viewfinder flipped up so you could make sure you guys were in frame, and once you did you turned to look at Max who only had his attention on you, watching his nod and loving the vibration when he hums his affirmation, pushing a loc out of your face. “Well I was thinking that we could couple the experience with something fun.” You wiggle your eyebrows, first at Max and then briefly at the camera before turning back to him.
“I don’t like that look. What did you have in mind?” Max keeps his eyes trained on you, watching and internally smiling at the charisma you were giving the camera, not like it was much different than your normal personality, if anything a bit toned down.
"Well I thought that maybe you could teach me how to drive? Or at least start teaching me how to drive. And then we could go to the cafe since we were out." You use a free hand to comb back his hair with your fingers, and something the camera is able to see is the slight head tilt upward he does to move closer to your hand and the side profile of the soft look he was giving you.
"Oh yeah, I always forget you don't have your license. I'm so used to just driving you around." He thinks for a moment, still only looking at you, watching as your enlarged brown eyes anticipated his answer. "Fine, I guess we could do that." He smiles back at the radiant smile you gave him and the quick kiss on the cheek you give before you remove yourself from his lap.
"Yay! Thank you baby!" You start to skip toward the door but you didn't realize that Max had snuck his hand around your wrist to pull you back to him.
"How were you going to leave me without a proper kiss?" He had his eyebrows raised in mock surprise, to which you roll your eyes and stalk back over to him, leaning down a bit to kiss him. It was a couple of deeper kisses, making sure your lips slated together rather than just a small peck. What you also noticed was that Max had angled the camera toward you two, making sure footage was captured of the kissing.
"You're so needy, ugh." You fake your complaint as you stop your recording and leave the room, not seeing the soft, loving look he was giving you as you walked out the door.

"Okay, here we are in the car on the most empty floor of the parking garage that we could find. And here's Professor Verstappen, ready to teach me all there is to learn about the rules of the road. Take it away, Max!" You finish your spritely intro to this portion of your vlog by highlighting Max's presence with your hands, waving them towards him and then finally looking toward him for instruction. He was too busy watching you, though, so it took him a beat to realize that it was his time to talk.
"Oh, okay. Uh, hello everyone. First, have you ever been behind the wheel before?" His arm was already resting behind him on top of his seat, so he was already in reach of a loc that you kept of your ponytail, deciding to mess with it while you gave your answer, giving his hands something to do.
"Well, I've never paid attention to all the stuff. Really just messed with the wheel." You twist the wheel, then look back at Max, the camera now just a spectator of the interaction between you two.
"Okay." He grins at you, eyes wandering over your innocent face before continuing. "Uh, let's start with the pedals. Touch them with your feet." He stretches his body to watch as you do. "So the wide one on the left is the brake and the narrow, long one is the gas." You nod, still playing with the pedals. "Mirrors, check them every time you get in." He reaches up and taps the long mirror in front of you guys. "This is the rearview mirror, make sure you can see out the rear windshield when you adjust it, okay?" You start adjusting as he continues explaining. "The side mirrors, uh, you want to make sure that you're able to see your blind spot and beside you. The controls to adjust it side mirrors are in the door. You just make sure you have the correct mirror selected and then use the up, down, left and right buttons to adjust the mirror.” You look at the side mirror but decide not to do anything about them. "Um, the gearshift. You have to press on the brake to be able to be able to press the button on the gear shift to move it." He was going to continue his informational dialogue, but he could hear you press down on the brake pedal. "Don't do it now! Hold on." He subtly motions for you to stop, his hand in your vicinity as he chuckles, his vibe a mixture of nervousness and adoration.
"Hehe, sorry." You had a toothy smile on your face, an indication to Max that you are already starting to get nervous and his words would need to be more gentle with his teaching.
"It's okay." He leans over to kiss your forehead before continuing. "Anyway, the letters on the gearshift-"
"Yes, the PRNDL…." You said the joke with such confidence, but you and Max stifled your laughter, staring at each other, you with that bright toothy smile and Max with a strained grin and facial expression of fake disappointment.
"Really?" The laughter he held was laced in his words. "You're adorable, you know that?" You nod with your bright smile, giving Max slight trouble when he starts leaning in to get a quick kiss, but you quickly get the hint, letting him kiss you as you nodded your head with less vigor.
"Hehe, yeah, I know." Your faces were still close, allowing you two to have a small moment of intimacy before finally getting back to the task at hand.
"Um, anyway. Yes the gearshi- the PRNDL, since I know you'll repeat it until I say it, those letters all stand for something. Do you know what they are?" He cocks his head slightly, making it more obvious that he is just making sure you know.
"Park, reverse, uh-neutral, drive, and I always forget what L stands for." You recite the meanings as you go down the panel, then look back up expectantly at Max waiting for confirmation that you were right.
"Correct. Good job, baby. And we're not going to worry about L until we have to." He pushes that lone loc again and admires your face as he thinks. "Okay, try just going forward. To that column." He points to a concrete column about 50 feet away, and he keeps his attention ahead of you guys as you put the car in drive.
"Okay, check mirrors, foot is on the brake right now, car in drive…" you mumble a checklist to yourself, double check everything you just listed, and then finally lift your foot off the brake and slowly, lightly press on the gas, allowing the car to finally move. Initially all was fine, it wasn't until 3 seconds later when Max felt the car gently swerving that he looked at you, seeing you twist the wheel back and forth as you tried to go forward.
"Woah, woah! Stop!" You immediately follow directions, slamming on the brake making both of your bodies jolt forward. You start to laugh nervously as you slowly turn to look at Max, who was looking at you wide eyed. "What the fuck was that, baby? You're not trying to warm the tires."
"I-that's what people do in the movies…and i- I don't know." An apologetic, nervous smile stays plastered on your face, a face Max knew well because it meant that you were really unsure of the situation and liable to shut down at any minute.
"That's just bad acting. But it's okay, you're okay. Just think of it as keeping the car steady instead of trying to guide it." He uses his hand to imitate a swerving driving path and then turns back to you. "You want to try again?" His gaze was intensely trained on you as he tried to gauge your anxiety before you answered.
"Mhm." The smile was now gone, your face was flat and eyebrows furrowed as you checked your mirrors again and then lifted your foot from the brake to gently press the gas again. This time there was a lot more focus on your part as you gently twisted the steering wheel as necessary to keep it in line until you got to the column.
“Okay, now put it in park.” With your foot firmly on the brake, you hold down the button on the gearshift and push it to put the car in park. Once it was done and you were sure the car was stationary. You lift your foot and jerk your head toward Max to shine a, now more confident, smile his way, that he reciprocates in his own Max way with a grin and wide eyes. “You did it!”
“I did it!” You reach your arms out and wrap them around Max’s neck, and the close proximity brought your cheek in range to receive a peck from him.
“How did you feel?” You still had your arms around his neck, but he was able to lean back enough to get your entire face in view.
“Better, but I know it's not that easy on the road so that's a little scary.” Max starts to open his mouth to calm your worries, but your next words change his planned soothing into reprimand as you continue. “And I know it’s stupid to be scared. Many people drive everyday without being scared, but I tin- '' Your words fade when your cheeks are grasped by Max’s long fingers and squished gently.
“Shh.” Max’s attempted cooing comes off more like a frantic mitigation of your downward spiral, like trying to stop a child from crying right as they’re on the cusp of bursting out in tears. He gives a small kiss to your manually puckered lips then lets go, gently lifting the locs you had back in a ponytail. “You’re not stupid. People get scared about driving, it’s normal. You just need to practice to gain confidence, that’s all. Okay?” Your lips were still pouted, but you looked at him through your eyelashes, eyes asking for a little more reassurance, which he gives by seizing your lips in another kiss.
"Okay." You press your lips together in a mild grin then settle back into your seat, tracing the steering wheel with your fingers.
"Want to try reversing and a little parking? And then I'll drive us to that cafe?" He laces his fingers with yours that had settled on the gearshift, running a thumb over the back of your hand.
"Yeah, let's do it! Really earn that latte." In your usual fashion, your demeanor changed on a dime to hyper enthusiasm, unlacing your hand from Max's and placing both hands firmly on the wheel.
"You earned that before we even got in the car." He stretches his arm across the back of your seat, placing a sentimental gaze on you. You turn toward him in a way that required you to lean your head back slightly, and flash that big beautiful smile he adores. "I love you." His head jerks toward you a little, waiting for your answer.
"I love you, too." You pucker after your words, receiving the kiss Max was craving to give you. It was simple, but it was lingering. He has always loved your lips, so his heart squeezed when they turned up into a grin for him as you got amped to continue driving. "Alright, let's get on with it!"
"Alright." He takes another second to watch you, his cute, bouncy, determined and all around amazing girlfriend, before continuing his instruction.

"The fact that the latte was amazing AND had The Little Mermaid art on top makes my driving struggles worthwhile." You skip out of the cafe door that Max held open for you, thanking the employees as you leave, camera trained on your face.
"It was good?" Max also waved a polite, silent goodbye as you two walked back to the car that was parked in a spot along a surprisingly empty road.
"Yeah! It was a sea salt caramel latte and it didn't have too much coffee flavor but I can still feel a buzz." You grab onto his hand and swing it wildly, turning under his arm like you were tangoing as you waited for the signal to walk across the street. For it to be a Saturday, the roadway that had picturesque little shops along the side was almost clear, sans a few straggling teens and some cars driving by.
"That's the last thing you need. I don't know why you insist on getting drinks with coffee anyway if you don't like the taste of coffee." The signal finally changed and you and Max crossed the street, vlog camera still recording, but just getting a lower angle shot of you two walking.
"You can have so much fun with the flavors of coffee drinks. And you know energy drinks are hit and miss with me." You lift your camera once across, you gauging the short distance to the car before talking, speaking through your teeth in a mock wince. "Sorry, Red Bull." You stop the recording and turn off your camera now just wanting to take in your surroundings hand in hand with your boyfriend.
"Yeah, I know." He feels his phone vibrate in his pocket, which he pulls out to see he received a text from Lando.

"Why does he text like this? All these messages…" Max removes his hand from yours but sticks out his elbow so you're able to wrap your arm around his. You guys stop walking for a moment, since you were basically at the car, while Max goes to answer whatever question is hidden in his myriad texts. "Would you want to go out tonight with Lando?" He looked down to his side for your response, which was almost immediate excitement.
"Yes! Let's go out! I love hanging out with Lando." You sway with Max's arm in tow as he types out his response.

Okay, we'll come.
"Okay, we'll go. Now please, I need this arm." His plea held fake exhaustion, causing you to laugh a laugh that was music to his ears. As you guys finally approached the car, you could hear people down the sidewalk calling to get your guys' attention.
"Oh my God, it is him!" Two young men both looking around 25 approached you two with excitement in their demeanor. "Max, we love you, mate. That Red Bull has been crazy dominant!"
Max could feel you trying to move behind him a bit, but for you this was just because you knew these guys were here to see Max so you didn't want to get in the way. For Max the rudeness due to their lack of acknowledgement to your presence was strike 1. "Thanks, you guys. But listen, we have to get going-"
"Hey do you think we could get a picture with you real quick?" When the phone started to be handed to you, Max was ready to snatch your hand up and leave immediately, but seeing you reach for it, okay and eager to take a picture of the boyfriend she is immensely proud of and his fans, he simmered down, enough to take a decent picture with the two men before they excitedly walked off after thanking you.
"They were kinda nice." Max walks you to the passenger side of the car, opening the door for you, grunting in faux agreement. "I don't think they knew who I was, though." Your words came out as a giggle because you were truly amused with the situation, but Max just closed the door, gently and hiding his stone face as he does.
"If they did they would have acted like fucking saints." Max mumbles to himself, walking around to the driver's side. He pauses, taking a deep breath and actively working to relax his face, knowing the scowl would affect your mood too, and realizing a new annoyance that has emerged for him. There are people out there who think that you are something less than the best thing to have come into his life.

You made sure you had your items, small purse on your arm, large pink chunky-knit sweater over your arm, a pink that matched the mid rise Nike Court Royales that you wore with a black tennis skirt and white blouse, phone locked in both hands as you bent under the rope in the garage separating visitors from the rest of the garage. You knew that it would have been more comfortable and easier watching from the Paddock Club area or the motorhome, but Max insisted you stay in the garage, and you didn't mind because you liked being this close to the action, and it was easier to get to parc ferme and the podium by just by exiting the garage. So you found yourself walking out of the garage, hugging people and cheering along as everyone celebrates another win for Max. No matter what anyone says, for you every win is so exciting because you know the work he has put in to achieve this. The top three cars park and you are able to reach and hug Max, making a face at him to joke about how he stunk from his sweat and then shooing him off for the post-race interview, and as you did you felt a tap on your shoulder, turning around to see a young guy and girl. The girl had her phone in her hand and the guy a small microphone, the ones that can clip onto the shirt.
"Hi, I'm Jackson and this is my girlfriend, Catherine. Do you have time to do a quick interview with us?" The guy, Jackson, asked you close to your ear, to which you nod in agreement. You and Max have been dating just over a year, and you can count the number of people that have approached you to speak to you on one hand, maybe two if you added exceptions.
"I would love to do an interview, Jackson." You were able to answer without having to yell in his ear, since the cheering has died down as third place is interviewed.
"Please, you can call me Jack." He points to Catherine and gives her a thumbs up, which you assumed was to signal for her to start recording, because after counting down to 1, Jackson begins to introduce himself and you, to which you give a spritely wave to the phone that Catherine was smiling behind. "So, Yn, you have been with Max for almost 2 seasons, seen so many of his wins, have you gotten used to them now?" Jack's eyes shifted between you and the phone as he spoke, and once he was done he brought the small microphone closer to you.
"Oh, no. Every race is different. Even if it is the same race during a new season, the conditions are different, and I see the work Max puts in first hand, so I am always very proud of him with every win." You smile toward Jack and then the camera.
"You know, with what can be seen as a severe lack of action due to Red Bull dominance, people have turned their focus to other news in the F1 sphere, one of which being the relationship between you and Max." Though more comment than question, the small mic is gestured toward you for input.
"Oh, well, I'm flattered. I hope it's mostly good things." You could feel a shift in the tone of the interview, which was confirmed by the confused look being given by Catherine from behind the recording phone.
"There has been good stuff, yes, but the most discussion and discourse has been over how different you two seem to be from each other." Again the microphone is thrusted toward you.
"I-well, yeah, we're different from each other, but I think that helps us. We get to learn from each other." Your smile has officially started to fade as Jack continues to speak.
"Not just the differences between you and Max, but the difference between you and his previous girlfriends." Your eyebrows were officially furrowed, confused by the implication.
"I don't think I know what you mean." The further you got into this interview the more the outside world began to be shut out, so of course you didn't feel Max's eyes trained on you, post interview and supposed to be headed to the cool down room, but instead he watched.
"People just don't understand how he could go from dating high class models and daughters of previous racers to you. You're so different from his previous girlfriends, what do you think it is about you that drew him in?" Your head tilted, really trying to figure out the point of the question, face softening into disappointment as you slowly start to realize the micro aggression in the comment.
"Well, I-i don't-um-" You jump at the feeling of an arm wrapping around your waist, giving Max a sad smile when you look in the direction of the arm.
"What's going on here?" Max uses his grip on your waist to pull you behind him, and switches to holding your hand.
"Max! Great race-" Jack goes to clap Max on the shoulder, be Max leans away, anger still consuming him.
"No, don't change the subject. What is going on? Why does it look like my girlfriend is about to cry?" Max relaxed the hand that held yours so you could mess with his hand, but still had a scowl on his face.
"I was just seeing what she had to say about-um-ha. You know what it's-" Jackson was starting to bail, motioning to Catherine to stop recording, which she does but she stays put, face enraged as she watches her boyfriend make a stupid decision.
"No, don't leave. Whatever you were talking to my girlfriend about you can talk to me about cause you were obviously upsetting her." You still held on to Max's hand, but the insinuation made during your conversation was already clicking, and you didn't like what you heard.
"Fine! She just acts so childish and ditzy! No one understands why you're with her!" With that final declaration, everyone within earshot and paying attention to conversation was shocked. You, though wide eyed, were hurt, a small seed of doubt now attempting to worm its way into the mental security you had in your relationship with Max, but feeling him suddenly jerk his right hand away room your grip provided enough of a momentary distraction.
"Fuck you." The two simple words were followed by a punch that dropped the guy. You hear gasps coming from multiple directions, making you guys realize you weren't the only one experiencing this, but this was the last thing on Max's mind. He looks up at Catherine. "Is he your boyfriend?" He was shaking out his hand, stretching his fingers and gingerly touching what will inevitably be bruised knuckles.
"Not anymore. I knew he was an asshole sometimes, but this is a new low." She shakes her head down at Jack, who was now being tended to by a nearby marshall who saw, and luckily heard, everything, and was nodding in agreement.
"Good for you." Max finally looks away from his hand to turn his attention to you. "Come on, let's head back." "You punched someone?" Charles gets up and heads to the exit so the three can head to the podium. Max doesn't answer the question verbally, just looks up from his hand at him and lets a satisfying grin replace the flat expression on his face.

i haven't seen much yelling on the dashboard but i've been playing the horse ranch ep for more than 4 sim weeks (and 3 different saves) and BOY OH BOY do i have some complaining to do
(here's your long post warning let's goooooooo)
so, thing i've encountered so far:
anything completely fenced in counts as a room in ts4 even though it doesn't have floors or a roof so your horsies will complain about being stuck inside for too long even though they are very clearly outside. at first i thought it was just the free spirit trait but other horses started getting uncomfortable soon after... to fix this, delete a part of the fencing, rebuild it elsewhere and then move it back in the empty spot, so the game doesn't register it as a completed room
horses will play with their ball... untill they don't. the ball has been placed with moveobjects off and they have plenty of space but... no ball. buying a new ball or changing the balls colour helps so i dunno... maybe the horse just wants a change of ball every now and then
after placing a tiny home lot and moving in my household, going into buy mode doesn't let me buy anything because it shows 'business funds' instead of the household funds... the household does not own a business. changing the lot type to tiny home before placing from the gallery seems to fix this
doors won't stay locked after loading a save if you click the "lock door for all..." (chicken, goats, horses etc) option. i don't know if it's a bug or a 'realistic' feature but chicken WILL NOT stay contained whatever you do. horses can be kept to their pen by 'lock for individual sim' option because they are sims and not objects, i guess
every time your sims cleans the chicken coop they will throw out all the hatchable eggs you've placed in there - be wary of your sim cleaning up because they might autonomously throw out all your baby eggs too
sim gets stuck brushing a cat for hours and won't stop until i make them stop
sims keep coming over and making de-stressing decoctions on the grill
at some point every time i made my sim mount their horse, both would just glitch next to each other. reloading the save helped. they still sometimes mount & instantly demount their horse though and you have to do a little dance to make your sim stay on the damn horse
minor visual glitches like outlines staying after deleting rooms, rooflines becoming invisible, glitched water appearing when using terrain tools and, of course, countless animations not matching up with sims/objects
as stated above, i tested 3 different saves (including starting a new save twice) and could replicate these even in a 100% vanilla game with an empty mod folder and mods disabled in settings
this may not seem like much in the grander scale of the sims 4 (honestly, that statement alone is yikes) but it did considerably sour my enjoyment of the expansion. i play a lot of video games in general and this is literally the only one that gives me so much headache...

what's your favorite sims death?
ngl i love the jelly bean death from TS3. when i was younger, if i got bored of a sim, i'd just feed them jelly beans over and over until they kicked the bucket and i could get rid of them.
if not the jelly bean death, then mummy's curse! it's way too easy to get sims cured of it, though, so you really have to commit to letting them suffer through it.
alpha cc or maxis match?
i'd say somewhere in between! i much prefer maxis match, but i'll use alpha occasionally. if i do, it's probably for specific clothing items that no one has made in mm style yet.
do you cheat your sims weight?
for story sims, yes. for gameplay sims, no. i really don't care about it in gameplay and i just let my sims look like what they look like. but in my story, i do cheat it because i keep VERY tight control over those characters. i like continuity and making sure everyone sticks to their canon, but also, when things do change, i like to plan for that to happen in the narrative at a logical point in time for the character.
do you move objects?
constantly!
favorite mod?
literally anything that gives me god-like control over my sims. NRaas and MCCC are my loves <3
first expansion pack?
it was world adventures for TS3.
i remember when i bought the base game on PC for the first time. picture it - september 2012. supernatural just released, seasons is on the way. everyone and their mother is watching lifesimmer. i played one household, an opposites attract couple. i got bored, killed the husband, and then never touched the game again.
at least, i didn't touch it until i watched LGR's reviews and bought world adventures! yay, interest revived.

i love the unnaturals, too, but more in TS3 because i can customize them to my heart's desire and give sims their natural root color.
also unpopular opinion but in TS4, the original blue black is wayyyyy better than the new one!

honestly, just the curly hairs. me and giving sims in every game curly hair are an inseparable duo

you know, i don't think i have one favorite, but i can tell you which one i hate. i HATE playing as kids. they can't do anything and they're not interesting and their clothing options are horrible. babies, infants, toddlers, teens - all okay! kids? NOPE BORING
yes, i would rather play with a burrito or bassinet baby than a kid.
the kids are slightly better in TS3 because i feel like it's easier to get them to make friends, plus i can ship them off to boarding school if i really want to, but they're still not interesting...

gameplay and stories all the way, baby. i hate building. will i do it occasionally? sure. does it make me want to eat my monitor so i never have to stare at my poor life decisions ever again? yes!

yes and no. i love doing recolors tbh but most of them end up being only for my private game. i've not shared very much on here publicly. i always want to and then i forget or just don't feel like cleaning up my files to be sharable.

i've had two LMAO. i had one as a kid where i uploaded gameplay clips. i had one video get a decent set of views (okay, like a hundred or something, idk) where i did a world adventures time lapse.
and then i started another one in like 2019? i did speed CAS and decorating videos in TS3. i deleted all the videos, though. i did think about reviving that channel a while back and doing let's plays for sims and RPGs, but then i got paranoid about people hearing my voice. i had the mic and everything ready, left over from a school project.
you know, sometimes i still think about using that channel but i probably won't.
how has your sim style changed throughout your years of playing?
i don't know. i think they've always looked kind of the same. i always lean towards making sims with freckles, big eyes, long noses, curly hair, and who aren't skinny and never wear a color other than black. if you ever see a sim of mine with features that deviate from those, just know that it was a severe struggle and concerted effort to do so.

Have you ever thought “too bad I’m never going to do anything with this sim” about your CAS challenge sims that never see the light of live mode?
How about “I used to love this sim, but I forgot I even had them?”
What about feeling bad for those poor spares from legacy challenges that never got the opportunity to spread their wings and fly? Or even worse, those 100 baby challenge babies that just get kicked out into the world once they reach young adulthood?
Well, I certainly have!
That is why I bring you my newest project: Spare Parts.
Spare Parts is a Build a City Challenge dedicated to the forgotten, the unloved, the spares shoved away in our libraries never to be heard of again.
I don’t know about you, but I have ton of sims just sitting in my library doing nothing. Spares from legacy challenges, sims from CAS challenges on Simblr, sims that I just made for the giggles, sims I made to test new packs, even sims that I intended to do a challenge with but never got around to using. And not to mention the cute townie-descended sims that appear in my saves and I never have the opportunity to do anything with, or the randomly generated townies I’ve saved!
I got the idea to make an entire city from sims that had never been properly given a chance. I rolled a die to determine how many sims I would start with, and ended up with the number six, so I had to choose six sims from my library, but there was a catch: I was only going to allow myself to use those that I haven’t properly played with before. No sim that I move into this save will be a sim I’ve given any kind of limelight to, and no sim that I move in will be freshly made by me or anyone else for the purpose of this save.
If you don’t know what the BACC challenge is, I recommend hopping over here and giving the rules a looksee. They’re not completely up-to-date, but I’m going to be including the new packs best I can (which is fine because the only one that I have that isn’t included is Cottage Living).
My sims are starting off in Henford-On-Bagley, on the largest lot available (64x64). This way, they will be free to spread out as time goes by, because I will be moving any and all new sims onto this lot before allowing them to spread their wings and fly. I will also be playing rotational style, so when sims form their own households, I will be moving them out into the world, and playing with each one for a sim week, from midnight Sunday to 11:59 Saturday.
Now, for the fun part.
If you want to, and only if you want to, you can send me your spare sims. You can scour your library and find spares, unused sims, abandoned legacy founders, abandoned challenge sims, etc, and send them my way so they can get a second chance. For example, one of the sims I will be starting with is @grimheaven’s “I’m a Lover” legacy founder, Montana Grove, because she’s a lovely sim whose save file gave her Watcher no end of grief.
If this sounds like a fun idea to you, just send your sim(s) to me, either here or at @cyazurai, in an ask or just tag me in a post; or you can just submit your sim to the gallery with the hashtag #cyazurai (along with a description if you want to). That way, I can find them. I will be checking that hashtag frequently.
I won’t be captioning these posts the way I normally do, because that’s too much added pressure. I already have 3 legacies and a Let’s Play on YouTube, and narration can be exhausting. Sometimes I might add a caption, just to clarify what’s happening, but they will be few and far between. Mostly, I will just edit the photo with things like moodlets, pop-ups, traits, actions, etc, to give you all an idea of what is going on. This way, I can keep up with my posts. I will also not be posting 10+ times a day, I will be keeping this down to 6 a day (except for the first day).
I apologize for the lengthy read, and I will be providing a TL;DR down below for those that just want to get to the point!

Mood Legacy Challenge
If you’re looking for a fresh new challenge to spice up your gameplay, look no further! This mood based 14 Generation Legacy Challenge (with the last four generations being optional) is designed to have you try new thing and explore different features of The Sims 4 while having fun!
disclaimer: as I was searching around the internet trying to make sure this is an original idea I came across @/simrays mood challenge. they’re not alike at all but I thought I would mention it. that being said I don’t know if there are other mood themed challenges out there but I wrote this one 100% myself.
To get started:
Create your founder, one (1) young adult sim. Can be any gender.
Set lifespan to normal.
Create a home with the starting 20k or download one from the gallery. You can live wherever you want.
It’s up to you how much you spend on the house, whatever is left over you can keep.
Basic Rules:
No cheats. But I can’t tell you what to do so just try to not use them excessively eg. money, skills, needs cheats make the challenge easy.
You can move wherever you want throughout the challenge as long as you have the money to do so.
Toddler traits and child aspirations are listed but are not required, feel free to randomize or choose your own. Only the main traits and aspirations matter.
You may age your baby up whenever you want after they’re born. However, you may only age up a toddler after they have reached level 3 of all toddler skills or when it is their birthday. Similarly you may only age up a child or teen once they get A’s in school or when it is their birthday. Whichever comes first.
You can have however many children you want per generation UNLESS specified otherwise. You can adopt children as well. Any child can be the heir.
Who you marry/the color theme of your spouse doesn’t matter.
Other:
If you’re a fan of color themed challenges you can opt to dress your sims as the color that corresponds to each generation.
If you chose to set lifespan to long there will be additional rules and skills to master for each generation.
If you have discover university you can go to university for any generation but it is only required for one (1) of them.
Whims are not necessary but are encouraged!
Note: This challenge has not been fully testing (currently in progress) so I may edit the rules as I go along i’m case it’s too difficult.
I will also make a base game version of the rules which can be used to substitute traits, aspirations, or careers if you don’t have a specific pack. For now, if you don’t have the corresponding pack just randomize that trait, aspiration or career and if one of the rules for the generation also requires a pack you do not have you may skip that rule.

Generation One: Happy (green)
You had a pleasant childhood and grew up to be a happy sim. Now all you want to do is share your happiness with your family and spread happiness around the world!
Traits: cheerful, good, family-oriented
Aspiration: big happy family
Career: charity organizer
Rules:
Reach the top of your career and complete aspiration
Master charisma and parenting skill
Complete at least three (3) gold-level house parties
Buy ‘Always Welcome’ reward trait
Buy a beebox (or however many you want) and max relationship with them
Have at least three (3) children
Additional Rules for long lifespan:
Choose to master either fishing or bowling skill as well
Go vacationing with your family every summer
Generation Two: Angry (red)
Your parent was so happy all the time it got annoying, which ended up making you super angry. How could someone be that happy? Now you’re set out to ruin everyone’s day.
Toddler Trait: fussy
Child Aspiration: rambunctious scamp
Traits: hot-headed, mean, hates children
Aspiration: public enemy
Career: private attorney
Rules:
Reach the top of your career and complete aspiration
Master mischief skill
Buy five (5) voodoo dolls and bind them all to different sims
Have only one (1) child
Have someone become your ‘partner in crime’ and perform two (2) pranks during work/school hours

Plant bugs on five (5) different sims (cannot be the same five used for the voodoo dolls)
Generation Three: Sad (dark blue)
Your parent didn’t want children and you could tell, that’s why you’re so sad all the time. You tried to make friends but most people can't stand to be around a negative nancy. Robots on the other hand, don’t have feelings, which is why the robots you create are your best friends. In the meantime you like to write stories about your sad life.
Toddler Trait: clingy
Child Aspiration: whiz kid
Traits: gloomy, loner, kleptomaniac
Aspiration: bestselling author
Career: mechanical engineer

Reach the top of your career and complete aspiration
Master robotics and writing skill
Build two (2) robots

Okay I'm going to judge all my ocs over how OBJECTIVELY attractive they are.
Main Ocs:
Luluco: As hot as i am IRL, i don't think Luluco would count as particularly attractive. Mostly because of the amount of body horror they have going on.
Bloody: AS MUCH AS IT PAINS ME TO SAY THIS, i don't think Bloody would be particularly attractive to the average person!! 😭 Like she's a huge milf yeah but she's really skinny and really pale and has a weird fashion sense so :/
Shira: Shira is probably one of the hottest of my ocs. She's tall, curvy, has good fashion sense, pretty long hair... She's just really attractive.
Sheina: Face wise? In universe and probably irl not very attractive, I'm once again remaking her scars but they are simply pretty nasty. Body wise, she has a very attractive body, big booba, low-key ripped, probably big ass too even.
Takochu: The other one of my main ocs who's the most objectively attractive. Takochu has a nice figure, cares about her image, wears very cute clothes, has pretty hair, and even with the eyepatch she can make it look hot. Takochu is the best.
Juan: This motherfucker ugly af. He is basically destroyed, he hasn't slept in a long time, he barley eats anything, and doesn't have enough mental energy to care about be wears. He was average to attractive when younger at least.
Lola: I think Lola is mildly attractive. She's young she has freckles, pretty hair... Nah, she's really attractive.
Raúl: Just like Lola, mildly to highly attractive. He cares about his looks, has nice hair, and is mildly built, so objectively speaking, hot!
Secondary Ocs:
Dasha: I feel like Dasha would be mildly attractive. Her appearance is nice, good hair normal fashion, also big booba and defined arms under her big sweaters.
Shanlier: She's both attractive but not really. She's one of those so called BIMBOS, have you heard of them? Queen has a nice body but would walk out the shower naked without realizing why that's bad, plus hasn't brushed her hair in a long time.
Sonae: God i swear Sonae isn't as ugly as she looks in her icon i need to do her justice bro 😭😭
Nomi: She's average, nothing too attractive about her, but she isn't ugly.
Thomas: I mean even if you found insane twinks hot, he's in a similar page as Juan, probably more scars but less chronic pain, Thomas is too weird to be considered attractive.
Ace: OBJECTIVELY SPEAKING.... Ace is pretty cute, like they care for their appearence and sometimes wear pretty clothes plus look at their face and their hair i just ;_; they murderous baby :/
Shenlly: She is kinda average. I think she's hot but she doesn't have any big things going on about her, she's just a lady.
Cash: Hot, pretty attractive. He's literally a Bad Boy™, have you seen his hair? He probably wears a jean jacket and a white tee. This guy is also definitely buff. Cash is hot.
John: Mildly attractive, he's a pretty boy with clear skin and long hair. Not a big deal but he did have a gf tbf
Zella: Or Zelda it depends on my humor. Hhhhh she's a complicated case. I mean, objectively? Her face is kinda weird man. Like let's be fair here she is from the sims 3. I think she would qualify as attractive.
Rose and Alyssa: Both attractive, you can pick and choose based on aesthetic lol.
Rhys: Rhys is pretty average, there wasn't anything particularly attractive about him, really.
Penumbra: I know some of you guys would say the literal shadow is hot, but this is a objective rating so no, not attractive.
Rob: I need to shave his beard, that aside, he is probably mildly attractive, he's a tall buff (perhaps the most of my Ocs) bald guy with dark sunglasses. He's pretty cool, pretty attractive.
Tracy: Objectively? Not really attractive. Not because she's particularly ugly, i mean, she doesn't have any "ugly" features, other than perhaps a messy style. I will let you guys decide lol.
Elizabeth: LOL RICH KID!! Attractive.
Max: Objectively not attractive and she does not desire to change it. She prefers to keep it that way.
Randoms:
Personbug: They are actually pretty average, perhaps mildly unattractive if you think bad of eyepatchs, but it's not like they focus much on their outfits.
Bo: ...i don't know what to tell you.
Chad: He's attractive. He simply is. "Oh but he's f-" shut up. Leave. Chad is so fucking hot.
Donovan: He's a zombie, he has a free pass to being unattractive.
Dikx: I'm honestly not sure. Perhaps average, they don't have much going on. The body it's just that, a small body.
Matias: Average to attractive, he's just a twink.
Mateo: I'm sorry monsterfuckers but he's objectively NOT attractive.
Stardew Valley:
Mila: Attractive. She has a Russian accent. Do i need to say more? Well, i do, because on top of that she's buff. And she wears pretty bows and has a red lipstick. Hot girl.
Mora: Mildly attractive. She's pretty cute, hair is long and soft, but that's it.
Leon: Attractive, he's a hunk /hj, also cute pastel color fashion, that IS cute.
Genesis: Mildly attractive? His tits are huge, cool hair, dark glasses...
Damon: Complicated, because face wise i believe he is attractive, plus he's tall and has muscle definition. Problem is their fashion sense, but since they do change often, attractive.
Vinyl: Her character is still a sort of a big wip, but i think she's attractive too, she's Damon's twin after all.
Among us:
Usculbaba: Objectively unattractive. I mean, look at him. He's argentinian a mess. Only wears old band tshirts, hasn't washed his teeth in a long while, barely ever sleeps, his beard is a mess.
TransRight: Attractive. She's pretty cute, $100 smile too.

#thesims4 #sims4challenge Through the Packs Challenge – By TheLisaBug
This Challenge combines using just about all the packs and was inspired by the Legacy Challenge, Runaway Teen Challenge, Rags to Riches and the Not So Berry Challenge. In fact, this challenge was made with the Not So Berry Challenge in mind so much that it uses a lot of game play that the Not so Berry Challenge doesn't use and instead of different colored hair, eyes, etc. each generation has different clothing, house styles and walk styles! Therefore, whether or not you have done the Not So Berry Challenge will not matter. However, doing this Challenge after the Not So Berry Challenge would give you an even more full experience of The Sims 4!This challenge was made with YouTubers in mind to showcase the packs and help people learn what they would like to purchase and what they can do without. It would also be interesting to watch, especially during this time of isolation, I think!There are certain requirements for this challenge, however, with no set required amount of skills and no points to count, it is fun and stress-free as challenges go!
* if you don't own certain packs then make up your own stories and substitute the challenges as needed to what you see fit. If you don’t have a certain trait or lot trait for example, just make one that seems to fit with the story or challenges, skip entire generations if you need to do so*
General Rules:
No cheats may be used.
You may use mods to enhance game play as far as story goes but the mods may not help with skills, careers or finance. That being said, MCC mod does help to not run out of townies, so it is recommended but it is not a must, since you can just restock the townies with gallery sims if you need to do so.Set Lifespan to Normal (Suggested). Making lifespan longer will make the challenge easier and more chill so do as you like :)
Start Generation 1 as a YA with 20,000 simoleons and no skills (a fresh sim). You may make this sim or get them from the gallery, but be aware that some gallery sims may have skills, careers and traits that would give them an advantage.
The Heir to the next generation is suggested to be the oldest child but you can change that if you want the heir to be the first female or youngest, etc.
Every Generation is supposed to complete their Aspiration/s and get to level 10 of their career by the time the heir becomes a YA as well as complete all other things listed. The two exceptions to this is for Generation 1, since Generation 2 moves out as a teen and Generation 2 where you must have at least a five star restaurant to complete your job by the time your child is a teen and you die when your heir is a teen.
There are no requirements as far as skill levels, but some of the things your sims will need to do require certain skills.
There are no points that you must count for this challenge, as it is meant to be free of stress and help you play parts of packs you may not have explored, fully, before and end up with your dream house in the end and a net worth of at least 1 Million simoleans (ie. House can be worth 400,000 and savings can be 600,000). See how well you can do!
You may age up your next generation Heir only if you have completed all your assignments. Generation 1 is the only generation that can participate in the lottery
Your spouse completing the tasks that are assigned do count for your challenge (ie. They can complete an aspiration that you need)
I recommend you turn Fame off in your settings, with the exception of Generation 8 where you will want fame to be on.
You must participate in all Holidays that come with the game at least once during the Challenge and you may add other holidays if you wish.
Each generation should take family photos (at least there should be a picture of each heir) and any collectibles or meaningful trinkets and pass them down through the generations (you must not sell anything that is passed down)
Each Generation moves to a different town and builds a specific style home as specified (you may use houses on the Gallery but make sure you can afford them)
Generation 1 – Strangerville
Story: You always wanted to escape from your country and come to a land full of opportunity. After years of waiting, you are given a choice. The place you want to live needs more Military presence and there are not enough people willing to sign up. You have been promised full citizenship if you will join their military and “Defeat the Mother”. You always thirsted for an adventure, so you are willing to take this on full force. However, to combat all the pressure and anxiety you want to live in a small house and arrange flowers.
Traits: Erratic, Ambitious, Active
Career: Military (either branch)
Aspiration: Strangerville Mystery
Clothing Style: Vintage
House Style: Trailer/Tiny home
Walk Style: Tough
Lot Traits: Child's Play, Dog Hangout, Bracing Breezes
You must be a sim who is able to get pregnant
- You have received a 20,000 Simoleon signing bonus
Build a trailer or tiny home that is no more than 100 tiles with the money given
Marry someone who helped you “Defeat the Mother” and have a child with them Have a baby, via an affair, to produce the second child with a Sage that you meet on a day trip to Glimmerbrook, but don't marry them or move them into the household (the purpose of having your heir be the spawn of a witch/warlock is for Generation 4 to have the Ancient Bloodline trait)
Defeat “The Mother” and become the Hero of Strangerville
Use the flower arranging table to make flower arrangements with all 7 different flowers (you can use candle making instead if you have eco lifestyle & make 7 different candles)
Take a stray dog into your family by the time the middle child becomes a toddler
Middle child has Independent trait as a toddler
The middle child must reach at least level 3 in all toddler skills before aging up
Have middle child (once they age into a child) have the Kleptomaniac trait, have them complete the Rambunctious Scamp aspiration and get responsibility characteristic high before becoming a teen
Middle child never finds any people they really consider good friends but they find that they consider the family dog their best friend Have 3 kids (the middle child must be biologically yours with the spellcaster Sage)
Have middle child take pictures of the their whole family and dog to get pictures for their future place (all heirs must do this and pass the photos down the generations)
Middle child runs away as a teenager the day after becoming a teenager and takes the family dog (if it is still alive. If not alive, take the urn or gravestone), the military medals (do this by placing medal case in inventory and then putting medal on the ground and then putting them into your middle child's inventory), some flower arrangements you like and at least one photo of the dog with them (you must use the cheat “FreeRealEstate on” to move into an empty lot as a homeless sim) to start Generation 2
Generation 2 – San Myshuno
Story: As the middle child, you often felt left out. One of your parents was different than your siblings and you never had any good friends, besides the family dog. Also, the house was way too small for everyone! Plus, you think your parent and step parent are crazy with their talk of “Defeating the Mother”, which you think is nonsense, so you run away when you become a teen. Coming from a town where everyone was either government or oddballs (or both), you always dreamed of being around people that were more cultured, so you decided to live in the city with the dog who you grew up with. The problem is that you have no money for an apartment, so you will be homeless until you save up for one. You will do almost anything and I mean ANYTHING to save enough money to rent one – couch surf, steal, ask for money – anything. The only exception to this is to marry for money, since you will never get married in your life. You are used to going it alone.
Traits as a teen: Kleptomaniac, Snob, Foodie
Career: Earn money fast so you can Own a Restaurant or Bakery that you build (or get from the Gallery) in San Myshuno
Aspiration: City Native
Clothing Style: Chic
House Style: Apartment
Walk Style: Feminine
Lot Traits: Sunny Aspect, Home Studio, Natural Light
-Once you have purchased an easel, dog bowl, bed, toilet, shower, trash can, refrigerator, sink and saved up 1500 simoleons in savings then you may move to a starter apartment in the Spice District
- You can skip school or take vacation days but you must end up with an A grade and high responsibility in range for a trait by the time you age up to YA.
-Learn all city food recipes
-Collect all snow globes
- Have one dog that you took from your childhood home and when it dies you are too sad to ever get another dog
Do not have a child until adult and spent YA life living it up in the city and running your restaurant
Your toddler heir must have the fussy trait
Have at least 3 sims that you “try for baby” with on the same day so you don't know which one is the father/mother of the child that you end up having (if male make sure you select that you can get pregnant in CAS and if using mods make sure you are ovulating) Do not check to see if you are pregnant until after you hook up with the 3 sims (if you are still not pregnant then repeat this process until you are)
Never Marry
Have only one pregnancy (if you end up with more than one child then pick one for this challenge)Move into a bigger apartment in the Fashion District or Uptown worth at least 100,000 Simoleans while you are pregnant to make room for your child
Have a 5 star restaurant by the time you die

You can also change the Mean Vibe lot trait to something else at this point. You must change your traits with the retraiting potion (not in CAS) or it will still act as if you have the other traits still.
Write 5 songs on the Napri Parlor Organ and License them
Be sure that your heir meets Father Winter and befriends him

You have always been drawn to witchcraft from the Ancient Bloodline trait you inherited. You want to move to a place that accepts your eccentricities and lifestyle choices. You want to show your parents that you can be more powerful than they are.

So last night or the other night Trev kind of inspired me about M.K here. Because Trev has his own characters but I really got thinking. Still following Trev told me I should make him his own race so perhaps being half and half of this and that that I should possibly do something else.
So just now I just got thinking, Because logic can basically be tossed aside in the sims verse.
M.K really doesn’t have a clue what he truly is, Hes thought he was part demon part vampire with a tiny bit of human. Maybe that’s what people label him as and to an extent maybe it’s true.
But what if M.K is actually really thought to be extinct breed of ancient vampiric alien monsters that found thier way on earth after wiping depleting most of the aliens you see in game (which have since bounced back thanks to a few intelligent ones who took shelter) literally this alien species had a predator and his race was thier predator his ancestors would trap these aliens by kind of creating a shroud of darkness around them, so they couldn’t run anywhere. They’d freeze up in fear as they would literally fuck with their mind bringing forth thier most terrifying fears, (which is something he can also do but doesn’t use those abilities as much as he did in prison plus because its such a powerful ability it really exhausts him and he ends up getting nose bleeds because of it) But it literally can drive someone to commit suicide.
Which the prison system found useful because it would make death look and come back as inconclusive like unfortunate and sudden So they struck a deal with M.K when he was in prison for some time while smuggling He was sentenced to ten years but it was shorted to about 5 years If he “worked” with them because they were afraid of him I mean I don’t know about you but I’d feel a bit uncomfortable around a guy whose 6′3 and half depending on his hair lmao and about 318-325 of solid fit fat muscle lmao You work with him not against him. This was after their little testing thing where they believed vampirism was a virus made him sick with flu like symptoms but did not “cure him” this would happen a few times a month to avoid suspicion they were abusing inmates.
When M.K was born everyone thought normalish alien and that his mothers death was just complications. He was a big ass baby like 10 pounds which is very big lol but it would soon be discovered he was ... unique abilities He was discovered by a strong vampire I would say maybe a Brujah type of vampire found him (This is where he developed his gun skills and other fighting skills He’s also a damn good thief with magician like precision and dress style lol when he was still young.It was his criminal family for a time he also learned to read there and so on and somehow became educated mostly on things he needed to know.So he’s not the most educated but he read books when he got his hands on some But that alien part of him helped him later building a rocket in his basement lol.
He would grow fast with a sharp wit and reflexes demonstrate abilities they themselves didn’t have as well as some they had.
But it was that second dark form that had them so intrigued He would become almost feral a beast almost . So he was feared and respected but was was taken advantage of and was punished if he refused once he started to realize this . He grew tired of “clans” And jumped in and out of many who also wanted to take advantage of how unique he was.
He was hard to work not one to be tied down to “loyalty but they wanted him so badly due to the fact he was so unique ” he was a rebel and often would participate in blood sports which is fighting till someone is beaten to a bloody pulp and dies. He earned the name Big Cat by his finishing move which was a bite and hold to the neck taking a big chunk of them with him as he tore himself away he would usually finish this in his second dark form that they were all intrigued by. Which was a reflection of his ancient ancestors a part of him a much larger twisted version of himself that moved very much like a cat
When Meg says no to him he doesn’t really take that very well However, instead of intimidate her he’s a very very good manipulator but he approaches this with his sweetness of character he’s always had but due to his lifestyle had to kind of hide. People used him, disguising it as caring about him He learned to use that to his advantage however and sometimes would fuck clans over and cause them to clash with one another. He soon became hated and was casted out
. Meg is the only person who genuinely cared about him and for a while it took a tiny bit to realize this as he wasn’t 100% loyal to her at first before they were married So when she didn’t show up at this underground club he constantly frequented where she was a server Which for a human he thought she was daft for as it was a club mostly for super naturals and aliens in disguise (that was onto on one of the largest underground black markets Where he often delivered illegal goods hell even people for trafficking didn’t think much of it.
But there was something about that tiny woman she wasn’t a super model and many tried and pined for his attention sometimes succeeding sometimes not. But his heart was never in it ... She was different like him. She wasn’t afraid to be different and embraced she was different. And that pulled him in like a powerful magnet. They sort of became friends ... it was also the reason why NOBODY gave her any trouble because M.K made quite a name for himself
So a few days after she disappeared he actually started to worry and did some investigating after receiving a tip from another smuggler who transported a bunch of females and one of them was human who mentions Malikor.And asked if they knew him.. which they said they did and passed along the tip.
He finds her location and pretends he’s interested in buying a living doll a toy that once trained and broken would obey its master whether it be to cook clean or perform sexual acts or favors for them. A companion. Hell you could get a male if you wanted. Nobody was safe. Humans were mostly a victim but aliens too were not safe.
Meg was not very obedient rebellious and labeled. For Experienced handlers only. When told how she almost bit off a buyers uh bits ( she was almost forced to give a blow job) to try to deter him he simply smiled and said “ I like my women kinky” Before he knocked out the guy watching over her tent Meg didn’t know it was him at first until he entered her holding area complete with a sizeable bed a vanity for make up and a dresser for clothing (showers were taken else where and female employees took over that part to get them ready for prospective buyers everyday their hair and make up would be done. Given wigs if needed ) Also they took breaks every hour or so to freshen up
She wasn’t given a nice one due to her bad behavior the mentality is kinda like wake up this would be you in rags if you don’t smarten the fuck up and do as your told. When he entered her area he saw that she wasn’t treated very well it looked like shed been whipped or flogged what ever but she had marks all over her body. Her initial reaction was to stand at attention so he could or the buyer could get a look at her like some kind of fine car.
Even test her out. Her face flushed and she became scared and said to him. “Just... just do what you need to do... I won’t resist.” Though I don’t know why you’d want to... She hugged herself tighter. You can request a bag for my head if you’re into that.
Judging by how tall he was it wasn’t going to be fun. For the first time in his life where he’d normally be quick to drop his pants he didn’t.He felt ... sad for her.
Even though she was wearing something way more revealing than what he typically saw her in She tried to hide herself from him just took a good look at her slightly running his hands on her almost teasing her and then bent at the waist to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear that sent a chill down her spine. “I’m buying you out of here.”
Upon getting her out He tells her she’s free to go despite him having the contract or reciept of her purchase which he tore up. Just before he leaves however Meg breaks down and explains why she hadn’t been around she lost everything her apartment everything she had nothing. And had been living at work but found herself down below. M.K seeing her upset tells her she can stay with him till she gets back on her feet ...But not with out doing him a couple of favors.
It was more of a self confidence building favor He’d pick out what she wore and everyday it got more and more revealing until one day he didn’t pick out anything at all.;) hid the other clothes so she couldn't find them it was a slow gradual thing he did as they got closer and more romantic with each other... She never did leave obviously lmao...

Sims 3 DECADES Challenge
As suggested by the title, this Legacy Challenge takes each generation through a different decade (we begin in 1920) for ten generations.
This version of the challenge is based on Western, mostly a generalised UK/USA history.

Technology and innovations will be locked on a Generational basis. What that means is, you wouldn’t have a mobile phone in 1940. Or a computer. Or…well…you get the idea.
Until 1950s, ALL SIMS must have the TECHNOPHOBE trait.
All marriages and relationships must be Male/Female until otherwise stated. Romantic Interests of the same sex are allowed but must be secret.
Generation One: The Roaring 20s (1920s)
Your family is old money, and now that money is yours. Live it up, what could possibly go wrong?
· Founder must be YA. Either gender.
1. You must work as a Painter, or if Male, the Business Career and use Painting to supplement income.
2. You must have the Artistic and Party Animal Traits.
· Begin with 50,000 Simoleons and a nice (decade appropriate) house.
· Throw a Party once a week.
· Meet a spouse and marry.
· You must ‘Try for Baby’ each time you Woohoo.
· Have at least one affair.
At the end of this generation, The Great Depression hits.
Generation Two: The Great Depression (1930s)
Your family has lost everything. After a decade of parties and the collapse of the stock market, you are now responsible for getting your family back on track.
· Reduce your Household Funds to 100 Simoleons.
· Anyone in a career must lose their job.
· You must ‘Try for Baby’ each time you Woohoo.
· Make money by Consigning household items, Fishing or Gardening.
· Everyone must scavenge for food; fruit, fish etc. Sims can only eat HOT FOOD once a day.
· All Sims reaching Adulthood during this generation must gain (at least) ONE of the following traits: Frugal / Mooch / Brooding
Generation Three: World War Two (1940s)
Your family is getting back on track, but the hardest is only beginning.
· All male sims YA or OLDER at the beginning of this generation MUST ‘leave for war’. Move them to a separate lot for two weeks:
o Roll a dice for each sim. EVEN numbers live. ODD numbers die.
o Invite them over once a week to simulate ‘leave’.
o You must ‘Try for Baby’ each time you Woohoo.
· Every house must have a radio, and someone must listen to it for at least an hour every day.
· Every house must now have a garden. The garden should have at least 4 plants in it.
· Female sims must get a job in Music / Journalism / Politics / Law Enforcement. They must leave work upon the birth of their first child.
· Teenage jobs are encouraged.
· All Male Sims who have lived through the war must gain (at least) ONE of the following traits: Brooding / Loner / Neurotic / Insane / Unstable / Coward / Hot-Headed
Note: I am aware of the limitations and problems regarding some of these traits. I have not selected them to be insensitive but as an attempt to show the impact of the war as best I can within the game.
Generation Four: The Fabulous 50s (1950s)
The wounds of the past are healing, and things are looking up.
· The heir must have Family-Oriented trait.
· You must ‘Try for Baby’ each time you Woohoo.
· Married women can now keep their career after having children.
· Have at least three children.
· Sims may now divorce and adopt.
· TV! (‘Old Timey Tele’ / Retrotastic TV): From 6am – 9pm.
· Showers are now available.
· Those who served in the war now receive a pension: Add 250 Simoleons to your household for every living sim who served in the war.
Generation Five: The Swinging 60s (1960s)
Can you dig it? Rebellion and Free Love are in the air. It’s time for a change, man!
· The heir must have the Rebellious trait. ‘Disciplined’ trait is also optional.
· Move out of the family home and into an apartment/campsite with at least two other people.
· Woohoo without ‘Try for Baby’ is now allowed.
· Your sim must protest at least once a week.
· Homosexual relationships are now allowed.
Generation Six: The Groovy 70s (1970s)
Encouraged by your parent’s upheaval of the system, you turn your attention to the planet.
· Any child born must have (at least) ONE of the following traits: Eco-Friendly / Green Thumb / Loves the Outdoors / Vegetarian
· Cheapest computer is now allowed for gaming and writing.
· Microwaves, washing machines and coffee machines are now allowed. Nicer televisions are allowed (no flatscreens).
· The oldest child from this generation must serve in the war (End of the Vietnam war) – Roll a dice; EVENS live, ODDS die.
Generation Seven: The Diamonds Decade (1980s)
Business is big, the hair is bigger. It’s Hip to Be Square and that’s just what you’ll do.
· Adults may now use Mobile Phones.
· (At least) ONE sim in the household must be in the Business Career.
· Anybody born during this decade must have one of the following traits: Born Salesman / Ambitious / Workaholic / Charismatic.
· TV time restrictions 6am – 2am.
· Teenagers may use landline phone twice a week to spend to friends/romantic interests.
Generation Eight: The Grunge 90s (1990s)
What happens next?! We’re not prepared for this, guys!
· No restrictions on phones or TVs.
· Computers may be used for socialising.
· When the oldest teenager is about to become a young adult, the family must prepare for the Y2K Disaster.
o You must build a temporary safe house or shelter using the cheapest furniture. The whole entire family lives in there for 3 days right before the teenager's birthday.
o No children are allowed to go to school during the Y2K Disaster time.
o In the safe house, there cannot be a computer.
Generation Nine: The Present Day (2000s-Present)
Your family is prospering and life is good. But is technology going too far?
· Computers can be used for anything now. Flatscreen TVs are now available. There are no longer any restrictions on the type of electronics you can own.
· Homosexual Marriage is now allowed.
· (At least) ONE sim runs a Blog.
· (At least) ONE sim is in the Video Game Developer Career – this can be the same sim.
Generation Ten: The Future
Your family has been through so much. Have you learnt anything? What can you do to help your future descendants?
· The heir must have the following traits: Computer Whiz / Bot Fan.
· Activate the Dystopian Future.
· Meet a spouse in the future.
· Save the world, if you can.

Are you a mermaid: I am a Life Bouy I float... literally FLOAT like I can dive into the water and just keep my arms and legs straight at my sides and I will end up on my back floating perfectly.
Your playstyle: Mostly just Gameplay but I have been trying challenges recently. I never tried any challenges before I joined Tumblr.
Your self sim picture: I might be a bit thicker but I’m sure I set her to the heaviest setting. I’m lucky in that I retained my figure even when I gained 100 pounds it helps me look less than I really am.
Stories or gameplay builds, lookbooks, edits or cc: I love reading people's stories. I love doing gameplay and just seeing what randomness can happen at times. I’m too lacking in confidence to really do lookbooks or builds but I love looking at other peoples. I adore CC just not talented enough to make it but I certainly APPRECIATE IT!!! I did do my first edit ever the other day for the Lunar Zodiac Challenge!!!
Your favourite age state: I would love the age states a hell of a lot more if there was -more- I could do with them. Infants, Toddlers, Children are so adorable but I feel really limited in their activities and personalities. Teens are great because the game treats them like practical adults so there is little you can’t do with them. I love the growing up and watching them become someone...
Your favourite season: Every time I start a new save I start in spring because I feel that is the order of things. Birth life ageing death and birth anew. It feels off if I choose a different season to start with. I did it with the Santa Baby Challenge but that’s because she’s all about winter so I had to.
Your favourite holiday: Winterfest was my favourite because of the Santa Baby Challenge and the fun I had with it but I’m growing to really like Love Day and the warm fuzzies I get seeing my sims do special things for their loved ones.
How was your day: I didn’t really get much done today but the things I really wanted to get done today I did finish so I feel accomplished.
Your favourite career: If you don’t mind needing to travel around a lot the Conservationist Career when you do the stay at home functions was really fun when I started out with Pearl but as my families grow I lose the time to spend focusing on the stay at home tasks as much so I usually pick a job that suits their personality or aspiration and send them off without me.

How old is your simblr: I should be hitting 1 year old within the month? I’ve had the account for much longer but I’ve only been active for a year.
Have you woohooed: I should say so. I’ve been married, divorced and now live common law with my current darling who I hope to be with forever. It’s been 8 years so I think I will. ^_^
Your favourite skill: Any musical skill, Flower Arranging and Wellness.
The size of your mods folder: 16.6 gigs with about 580+ folders sorting by the creator.
Your 3 favourite mods: Deaderpool for MCCC, LittleMsSam and all her mods, Polar Bear sims and their Personality and vampire mods. I suppose but I really am tied up with several more I would want to list.
Your interests (other than sims): Reading, Crochet and Video Games... Mostly RPG types like World of Warcraft, Starwars and the like.
Your favourite sim (picture if possible): I made her for a bachelor(ette) challenge that never went anywhere so she’s never gotten to be featured in anything but I seriously think this is the most beautiful sim I’ve ever made and will ever make.
which sims games you have played (including mobile games): The Sims 1, 2, 3 and 4. I had the Wii sims uhm... those little box head ones? Both mobile versions as well. Oh and the Castaways one. I still own (in storage somewhere so the disks might not work anymore... all the expansions, game packs and stuff packs of Sims 1, 2, 3, and almost all of 4 I’m just missing tiny living.
Propose a crazy scheme: *raises pointed finger in the air* I believe that what sims 4 needs the most is what sims 3 had! That website connected to the game that lets you purchase little addons for the game! You could by something as simple as a hairstyle or a whole town! you had to use real money and I can’t see why it wouldn’t make them billions of dollars because I swear by the time sims 4 came out I had invested about 1,000 dollars myself alone and I still hadn’t bought all I wanted to buy! Hell! They could even save themselves time and give out like a... I dunno uhm.. royalty payment? to current modders to feature their stuff on the sims official site if they let the company own the CC from then on but the artist either would get a single fair payout or a couple of cents per download kinda payout.... it would motivate the people who make CC for money as well as fun and give EA a massive pool of content to choose from!
The best part of simblr: Seeing all the amazing talent, imaginations and humour of the people around me who have the same joy in playing sims as I do. Seeing comments on my posts even if it’s just a <3 I get all happy seeing it!
The worst part of simblr: Well I haven’t really gotten to see the dark side of Simblr to be honest but I do think that people sometimes can get out of hand with their differing opinions.
What other games you play: World of Warcraft, Starwars Online, Any MMORPG really I’ve tried almost all of them if they are free to try. Lately, my husband and I play Titan Quest together it’s fun it’s like Diablo 2
other websites or accounts (origin, twitter etc..): uuuuuuhm I have a Facebook account for personal use that I hardly use other than to get messages from people I need to hear from since I do not have a phone. I have a twitter I never use that I linked to things so they post on it for me? I have an Instagram I was putting crochet stuff on it but I can’t remember the password for it anymore I never use it really I don’t really Uhm... do the social thing... I’m on Discord?

1. Which one of you is the older sibling?
Phillip and Erlea (in unison): I am.
Phillip: Let me explain. When mom was giving birth some kind of glitch happened. The good Maker only knows--because Sims--but mom was pushing and I ended up in her arms, but Erlea was already on the floor when mom was putting me in my crib.
Erlea: And I was not happy!! Mom and dad didn’t have much money and only had one crib at that point so dad had to run out for a new one...
Phillip (interrupting): But anyway...technically she was probably born first, but mom held me first.
Erlea: Technically we have no idea really. But since mom held him first...
Phillip:..that makes me the first born.
Erlea: And I don’t want to be the heir anyway. I want to concentrate on taking care of my children. The heir will be on horseback a lot to earn money for the family. If I’m pregnant I can’t ride. So that just wouldn’t make sense.
2. What do you like about your sibling?
Phillip: Ladies first.
Erlea: Yeah. That’s what I said!
Both: (laughing)
Erlea: Seriously, I like most everything about him. I mean--we are VERY much alike so to dislike him would be to dislike myself. Right? (looking at Phillip)
Phillip: Right! We’re both smart, though that plaque on the wall says I’m a bit smarter.
Erlea: Only because I couldn’t get in the door that one day and missed a quiz!
Phillip: True.
Erlea: And we are funny! We both love horses!
Phillip: Oh wait! I know what I love best about her--her cooking. She’s a great cook!
Erlea: Awww...(blushing)
Phillip: ...
Erlea: He says the nicest things. And I’m not just saying that because he said that. He knows how to make people feel good about themselves. When he gives a compliment you know he means it and it’s true.
Phillip: (gets up and hugs Erlea)
3. What annoys you about your sibling?
Erlea: Since he’s had to work in the garden before school he’s always out of bed soooooo early. And he’s on the top bunk and there is just no way for him to climb down without shaking the bed and it wakes me up.
Phillip: She’s forever messing with the horses and getting them off schedule. I need them ready to do certain things at certain times, and if she decides to go out and brush or ride them, they aren’t in the best shape when I’m ready to work with them. They are either hungry or tired and it messes things up.
Erlea: Honestly I really think if we were on the same schedule we wouldn’t have anything to annoy each other with. I’m really going to miss him when I get married and move out. (tears up a little)
4. Describe your sibling(s) with three adjectives.
Phillip: I’ll go first while she dries up a bit. (hands her a tissue) Hard-working. Incredibly kind-hearted. Totally stylish!
Elrea: You’re going to make me cry again! (sniffles and dabs eyes) He’s dedicated, chivalrous, and emotionally grounded.
5. What is your sibling’s/siblings’ biggest talent(s)?
Erlea: Making people cry--especially me! Seriously though, he’s a gifted rider and trainer. He really knows how to motivate the horses to do exactly what he wants them to do. It’s amazing to watch.
Phillip: And I think you’re going to be the same way with your chlidren--when you have them. Not that children are animals, mind you, but they do need training/teaching and motivation. She’s always been that way with children. She’s got all of the qualities to be a great wife and mother.
Erlea: If you know how important family is to us you would know just how amazing what he just said is. Very humbling to know you think that of me, Phil.
6. What is your sibling(s) really bad at?
Erlea: ART! Oh my gosh. He’s terrible at painting and drawing.
Phillip: (chuckles) 100% true. That’s why she’s the stylish one. She’s terrible at being mean. Even if she’s really mad she won’t be mean or say anything spiteful.
7. Do you have nicknames for each other?
Phillip: She’s our Honey Bee.
Erlea: Cowboy. Look at him.
8. What’s one thing you can do that your sibling(s) can’t?
Erlea: Birth babies.
Phillip: Ride like the wind.
9. Did you get along when you were younger?
Both: Always!
Erlea: We have always been each other’s first best friend.
Phillip: True.
10. What is your funniest childhood memory of your sibling?
Erlea: Well the funnest--I know bad grammar and not what you asked--was having our entire childhood free from school because of snowdays. We played in the snow, and then inside with our toys and read books. Built forts with our bunk beds. I played queen for a day. It was a blast having all of that freedom, even if it was bitter cold. I think that helped us become even closer because it was just us. No other outside friends or distractions.
Phillip: Her face the first time she saw Manzanita. She didn’t really believe in unicorns. Of course we were teens by then, but yeah. I didn’t know her mouth could open that wide! (Both laugh and repeatedly show off the size of their gaping mouth.)
11. Are you closer now or when you were younger?
Erlea: Probably when we were younger just because of the time thing.
Phillip: True. But I still love her just as much as ever and always will. If anyone ever hurts her he better watch out! (Looks at the Camera) Love you Andy. But just sayin’.
12. Did you compete with each other?
Unison: No.
Phillip: We both know what is expected of us and where our talents lie, so there is nothing to really compete over. Even where we overlap--we’re on the same team.
13. Which one of you is more likely to turn out like your mum or dad?
Phillip: She is going to be just like our mom. And that’s as close as perfect can get. Suri, too. (blushing as he mentions his fiance)
Erlea: He’s going to be just like dad though. Devoted. Hardworking. Totally in love with his wife. Also perfect, though dad wouldn’t agree.
Phillip: He’s always wanted to give us more. But we’ve always had everything we need. The financial pressures have weighed heavily on him. Part of what makes him such a great dad is that we never knew he felt that pressure--until now that we are older and ready to take on our own family’s.
Erlea: (squeezes Phillip’s hand) You’re going to do great just like he did. And is still. I think graduation and our upcoming marriages have us both feeling nostalgic. We’ve had a great life and as exciting as this time is, letting go of each other is hard!
14. Which one is most likely to have a big family?
(In unison)
Erlea: Me
Phillip: She is
Erlea: Their roll is done and Andrew and I don’t have to roll. We both want a LOT of kids!
15. What is one thing about your sibling(s) that has changed as you’ve
gotten older?
Erlea: His hat’s gotten bigger. Boots too.
16. Who’s better at math?
Phillip: She is. You should see her bake. Figuring out how to substitute measurements and triple recipes--lots of math!
17. Who is more pessimistic and who is more optimistic?
Erlea: We’re both optimists.
18. Is there anything you don’t like doing together?
Phillip: Well, once we get married we ARE NOT sharing a room.
Erlea: (Laughs and blushes) I would never end up pregnant if we did! Andrew wouldn’t be ab...nevermind.
19. Which one of you do you think will get married first?
Erlea: (looking at Phillip) Should we tell them?
Phillip: (shurgs) Yeah. Go for it.
Erlea: We’re having a double wedding.

Phillip: We don’t. Not really. Nothing’s more important than family.

Strange Legacy 3.3
This one’s going to be a short one, guys.
When last we left off, Angeline and Betelgeuse had finally died, and Fornax and Danni’s oldest daughters left for college along with their vampiric aunt Diadem. This left plenty of room for Danni to get pregnant with yet another set of twins, one of whom will hopefully be a boy, because Danni’s uterus could use a rest and so could I.
What do you know, it’s a boy and a girl. Welcome to the family, Kornephoros and Lilii Borea. Kornephoros is the heir and the baby factory is officially shut down!
As you probably gathered from the wishing well in the last chapter, the Stranges’ garden has been thriving and we have all the produce necessary to make every kind of juice, officially netting us an additional Seasons point.
Once the produce was mostly harvested, I repurposed the greenhouse to display all of our career rewards. That’s right, Cassie and Danni did it! That’s every single career reward in the game, and another sweet sweet collection point.
And while we’re looking upon my works and despairing, we might as well get this shot of another 25 Elixirs of Life out of the way.
Ahhhh. It’s good to have points.
Anyway, back to the family. It has come to my attention that I’ve given approximately zero screen time to Ilkil and Jishui, Fornax’s middle set of twin daughters, so please enjoy this shot of them as toddlers.
Ilkil is the one on the right sweetly cuddling with an angelic expression to match her personality. Jishui is the one on the left, with eyebrows as sharp as her bangs. The two of them have kind of a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on.
They’re children now, of course. It’s just that I don’t have that many pictures of this time in the Stranges’ lives on account of being bummed that I essentially had to play generation 4′s childhood years twice.
Trust me, though, you’re not missing much. Six kids + functional relationships among the adults = the only thing anyone does around here anymore is talk about toddler skills.
And it goes without saying that the headmaster is over here constantly.
It’s cute that Danni’s trying to impress him by talking about the Stranges’ fabulous wealth, don’t you think? There’s really no need for that as long as the tour ends in the same room as the open bar. I can see why he was such good friends with Angeline and Sharon back in the day; the man’s a complete lush!
“When are you going to change me out of my default Maxis clothes and bowl cut? I’m the heir, right? I thought that meant you were going to focus on me, but here I am halfway through childhood and this is only the second photo you’ve ever taken of me."
You know, he’s got a point about the bowl cut.
There we go. Sorry, kid, it’s just that I was burned out on your generation before you were even born, plus I’ve never found kids all that riveting to play in the first place. We’ll revisit when you hit your teen years, kthxbai.
And that goes double for your sisters! Hurry up and grow up, all of you!

Is it really so much to ask that they take a leaf out of big sis Gomeisa’s book and grow up and move to college as fast as possible? Danni and Fornax are elders now; they should not still be raising four kids under 10 years old!
Although if it was an option, I’m sure they’d be making more as we speak. These two are still just as in love as the day they met, and actually might be even more adorable in their old age.
Awww. Yep, they’re definitely my legacy OTP. Now that every woohoo doesn’t have to result in children, I’ve been sending them on lots and lots of dates in the hopes that Fornax will roll the want for 100 Dream Dates. I’ve never seen it, but damn if I’m not determined to force it for the sake of another impossible want!
Anyway, back to Gomeisa.
Gogo’s been having all kinds of fun at college. Between the coeds, the parties, and the makeover of the house Aunt Diadem was able to fund with her scholarship money, it’s been a blast.
I expected there to be some friction with Christy, what with the house being occupied by three competing Romance Sims, none of whom are particularly nice, but she surprised me by becoming fast friends with both Gomeisa and Hamal. Maybe last generation’s cowplanting actually took!
Back on the home lot, Ilkil bucked Gomeisa and Hamal’s trend and rolled Family. I gave her a correspondingly wholesome makeover.
Jishui, on the other hand...
Boy, I’m glad we have that wishing well. Handling all these Romance teens’ first kisses when all I want to do is get their asses to college would be hell otherwise.
F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. Kornephoros rolled I-don’t-remember-what but I’m pretty sure it was Romance too (these pictures are well over a year old and I’ve since played him through his sophomore reroll, sue me) and Lilii Borea rolled... well, I’ll just let you guess based on her 8am pillow fight date with the creepiest Tricou kid on the front lawn in her pajamas.

Kornephoros was no different than his sisters; as soon as he got home from school, he too went straight for the wishing well and conjured up Swan Tricou for a first kiss.
It was at this point that I realized, hey... I have six Strange kids and six Tricou kids. Wouldn’t it be kind of adorable to send them all to college and marry them off to each other Seven-Brides-for-Seven-Brothers style?
There’s just one problem: Swan doesn’t have enough chemistry with Kornephoros to work with the True Love restriction.
Clearly, I had no choice but to make him fall for her sister.
“Kestrel, we’ve only known each other for a few hours, but you can’t tell me you don’t feel what’s between us. Will you come to college with me?”
“Um... I don’t know if that’s going to work, Kor.”
“We’ll make it work! It’s true love”
“No, I mean literally, I don’t see how that can work. Don’t you already have five sisters, an aunt, and a placeholder going to that lot with you? I don’t think I’d fit.”
Damn it, she’s right! Pardon me while I go do some rearranging.
The choice for who had to go was clear. Christy has always been a Sim who tried my patience at the best of times, and she’s been living (and deceased) on this lot for well over fifty years now. It’s time for this perpetual student to graduate.
Plus she keeps messing with Di’s coffin in the middle of the day, and I just can’t have that. It’s hard enough keeping a vampire alive in college as it is. The lack of a magic school bus has been really killing me over here, especially since Di chose the physics major and her classes are all in the middle of the day.
So byeeeeeee, Christy! Don’t let the door hit you where the good lord split you!
Next time: How much trouble can 8 college Sims get up to when 4 of them are Romance and 2 are Pleasure? Is marrying two groups of six siblings off to each other primarily because the symmetry appeals to you a good idea? And just how long does it take to get back on the horse after your neighborhood explodes into a BFBVFS?

Hi! :) I was wondering if you could do a mod resources list?
Ohhhhh, man… I don’t know that I can. I have more than 1000 mods, and I don’t know where many of them came from since I’ve had some of them for literally a decade. But, since I needed a hair break, I put together this long-but-partial list, with links.
Note: I’m not going to list that things that everyone ought to have to reduce the chance of game/neighborhood corruption. Go here for that. One thing that everyone ought to have, though, is a mod to suppress the expression of the debug Super Hug code. I use Boiling Oil’s No Sim Loaded for this, but there are others you can use. People freak out about this “bug” (which isn’t really a bug at all), but there’s no need to. Put in a suppressing mod and fuhgeddaboutit.
Now, on to the more fun stuff!
Modded Objects That Are Critical/Useful to the Various Ways I Play:
Sim BlenderUseful for fiddling with all sorts of things in-game instead of having to do it in, say, SimPE. Some people prefer the Sim Manipulator, which does a few things the Blender doesn’t, but nothing that I would personally use, so I stick with the Blender.
InsimenatorMost of the functions of this are redundant if you use the Sim Blender and/or they are functions available in debug mode. BUT it can do two things that are important to how I play and that I’ve found nowhere else:
Adjusting a Sim’s age, up or down, by single days (instead of 3-day intervals like the Blender/Manipulator)
Adjusting household funds by single-simoleon amounts – instead of 100-simoleon increments like with, say, Monique’s computer – which is useful when you can’t use familyfunds for a particular household.
So, I use both the Blender and the “object” version of the Insimenator to fiddle around with things.
Sim TransformerI use this for two things:
Turning randomly-selected townies into various kinds of supernaturals, when I want townie supernaturals.
In my game supernaturalness is heritable with a decreasing chance of expression as the generations pass (I keep track of each Sim’s “genes” manually as part of my tracking spreadsheet), so I use this to “turn” any applicable Sims when they reach the appropriate age.
Sim Transporter I use this to easily move Sims, permanently or temporarily, between households. It’s useful for stuff like running schools – without school mods – and day cares and when playing playable orphanages, to move adopted kids into their new households.Hacked telescopeIt allows Sims to autonomously choose to be alien-abducted at any time. I like aliens and I can’t lie. In most of my neighborhoods, all Knowledge Sims get a free one of these babies. I use this in conjunction with Boiling Oil’s Alien Experiments (linked below) to add supernaturals to my neighborhoods as well.
Job Stopinator For controlling to what level in their career a Sim can rise, which is governed by various rules in the neighborhoods that I play.
Monique’s computer Mostly for its banking functions and money-transfer functions. I usually use the more-autonomous version that I made, though. It makes the functions that are autonomous on “normal” computers also autonomous on Monique’s. Otherwise, Monique’s is completely non-autonomous.
Visitor Controller Mostly for making community lots with very specific purposes meant for only a certain type of Sim. Like, say, a “queer people only” bar. Or a teens-only hangout. Or a meeting place for a witch coven. Things like that.
My Must-Have Mods:(Meaning “I Won’t Play Without These”)
Autonomous Casual Romance Because I want my Sims, not me, to decide how many babies they’ll have. Also, it’s customizable down the Sim level with its multitude of settings so that I can, for instance, make unapologetically slutty Sims or completely asexual ones who won’t even flirt autonomously. Or I can make philanderers or completely-faithful monogamous Sims. Or I can make ultra-jealous, possessive Sims or ones who are into open/polyamorous relationships. Its “friend zone” thing is also very useful, particularly for teenage step-siblings who might otherwise be attracted to each other or to their step-parent. People seem to think that ACR just makes Sims always-horny – and that’s kind of true with default settings – but you can do SO MUCH with the settings. Hence, why it’s a must-have for me.
The InteenimaterI really couldn’t care much less about teens being able to get pregnant. I have this for:
Automatic “independent teens” in order to shorten the teen lifestage without really shortening it because doing that tends to screw up age-syncing between siblings who do and don’t go to college.
YA pregnancies/families.
Miscarriage.
Yeah, you can now do all those things separately with different mods and such, but I prefer to just have Inteen in there because it does it all and then some.
Community Time If I didn’t have this, I’d never use community lots or have Sim-owned community-lot businesses because the “they arrive home at the same time they left” thing is a total dealbreaker for me. I just wish it worked on Uni campuses. *sigh*
Community-Lot Buy Enabler With this, Sims can access their inventory on community lots. So they can, for instance, bring their personal musical instrument to community lots and busk, which is one of the ways that Sims who don’t have a “regular” job can earn money in my neighborhoods. (The mod says it’s updated to Pets, but it works fine in my all-EPs/SPs game.)
Things I Usually Use but Don’t HAVE to Have:(Basically, things I like and use in some neighborhoods but not in others.)
Nudist mod I grew up in a “clothing optional” household and we always vacationed in family-friendly “clothing optional” places – in Europe, not the US, obviously *eye roll* – so casual nekkidness is normal and completely non-sexual to me. Also, in the game, it just amuses me when Sims are inappropriately naked, like when they go off to take finals at Uni. Call me weird or perverted, if you wish.
Real Sickness Because I’m a cruel goddess. Also, it’s population control, which is sometimes necessary with the way I play, and it often makes things less-boring, like if you’re suddenly left with a single parent of 6 kids because one of the parents croaked after catching a cold.
Hat’s Aging Mod/My Tweak of It and the Adjusted ACR Controller that @kidsimblr Made For It. For when I want more relaxed playing with plenty of time for the pixels to do things besides obsessively skilling and making sure they have enough babies to continue the population. :p There are a bunch of “associated” mods I use with this, too – things that make jobs harder, skilling slower, etc., so that you don’t have Sims who’ve maxed all their skills by the time they’re done with childhood. They’re mostly those that Hat lists in her massively-long mod description, so I won’t do a repeat here.
Alien Experiments Aside from too-liberal use of pesticides and playable vampires turning people, this is the only way supernatural states are inflicted upon my long-suffering pixels. And it’s customizable, which is a big plus. This is useful if you want a neighborhood with lots of alien-abduction – via mods or hacked telescopes or whatever – and don’t want every abduction to result in pregnancy but you want abduction to do something.
Community-Lot Skilling So that Sims can skill on community lots. In some of my neighborhoods, they must do this because they’re not allowed to have skilling objects on home lots.
Prisoner TokenIt’s part of Inge’s playable prison system, but it can be used separately. I give one to any Sims – playable or otherwise – that I don’t want to appear on community lots or as walkbys for whatever reason. It’s surprising how often I need to trap Sims in their homes for various reasons…
School Changer and Custom School TypesHomework “Placemat”I use these for homeschooled kids – of which I have a lot because in most of my neighborhoods the game’s regular school isn’t available until the neighborhood reaches a certain population level. I also use the prep school instead of the game’s private school (because I don’t want to bother with the “impress the headmaster” thing) and the boarding school for wealthy families in age-modded neighborhoods where the child+teen lifestage is 56 days long.
Things that make baby/toddler-wrangling more sane, particularly important for the stupidly-large families I like to play:
Toddlers/Babies sleep through the night Cribs have stupidly-high energizing properties. It’s unrealistic. Sure, babies/toddlers always sleeping through the night is also kinda unrealistic…but at least it’s less annoying than toddlers who only sleep for three hours at a stretch!
The one that fixes the Maxis code for toddlers playing in toilets. It’s supposed to be something they only do when in a bad mood, but Maxis FUBARed the code. I also use the Self-Exploding Bottles and the Potty Fixes on the same page.
Less autonomy baby care Because no, pixels, YOU WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH YOUR GODDESS-GIVEN BABY CARE SCHEDULE! DO NOT FEED THAT BABY UNLESS I TELL YOU TO, DAMMIT! The mod I use is Inge’s, on the same page as the “toddlers sleep through the night” one. Also, for various reasons, I prefer Inge’s mod to Pescado’s version, which Inge mentions. Inge’s works just fine in my game.
No Social WorkerBecause it’s ridiculous that kids can be taken away from getting too hot from jumping on beds or too cold from having fun playing in the snow. So, I nuke the social worker entirely. There are several different mods out there, but I use Inge’s, on the same Simlogical page as the others linked to in this section.
Supernatural-related things:
Deadly vampire biting Because I like vampires who can kill people. It’s consistent with the lore and it’s population control. With this mod, bites aren’t automatically fatal, though; it’s an option you choose. This is useful if you want your playable vampire to either kill OR turn people.
Biting fills hunger for vampires Because, seriously, if vampires don’t survive by sucking the life essence from other people and can, instead, metabolize toaster pastries, THEN THEY AREN’T VAMPIRES, FOR GOD’S SAKE! With this mod and the deadly bite one in your game, you can have vampires kill people, turn people, OR just drink from them without either turning or killing them. Options are good!
Werewolves don’t transform every damn night. Geez, the lore is they only do it when the moon is full.
Zombies eat brainz and turn other Sims into zombies.TBH, I don’t often use zombies in my game, so this mod isn’t often in my game, but when I do decide to allow zombies in a neighborhood…Yeah.
No Plantsim hairBecause I tend to have so many Plantsims – they’re my favorite supernatural, and I have Alien Experiments set to give me more Plantsims than other supernaturals – that it’s hard to tell them apart if they’re all running around naked – the better to photosynthesize, my dears – and all have the same stupid leaf-hair. With this, at least they all always have a different hairstyle.
No Stupid Reagents Because who has time for that????
Keyed Doors This is a global mod that adds up to four keys to all (non-apartment and non-hotel-room) doors and gates so that you can (but don’t have to) assign usage of any door to only certain, individual Sims. It’s useful for allowing only certain Sims in certain rooms of lots, like individual rooms of a military barracks or a college dorm when you’re not using the Myne doors for some reason. Or for keeping visiting Sims out of certain rooms of a house. It’s also useful for playing townhouses or boarding houses and such if you don’t want to make them into apartments or don’t have AL (Hi, Mac users! :) ) so you can’t do so.
Miscellaneous Things What I Like:
Pets sleep on beds with childrenIt’s just entirely too cute, dammit! I just wish it worked with teens/adults, too.Toddlers/Puppies/Kittens can use stairsBecause otherwise it’s a pain in the ass to have to carry them everywhere and/or build all one-story houses with no foundation. :P
No Plumbbobs Removes the plumbbobs in neighborhood view and the ones that hang over Sims’ heads. Call me sacrilegious, but I haaaaaate those things. The link is to a reupload I did because I couldn’t find Ja’s original upload for the life of me.)
Homework SometimesBecause I don’t want kids/teens saddled with homework every damn day. Hell, I disagree with the entire concept of homework for school-age kids in real life – It’s one of the reasons I homeschooled my kids – so why on Earth would I want so much of it in my game? :P
No Apartment NoiseYeah, it’s probably unrealistic not to be woken up by your neighbors when you live in a cheap apartment with paper-thin walls…but I got tired of it in my game.
No 20K Handouts(Because who gets $20K just for moving out of your parents’ basement?)No Bathroom Dishes (Because who washes dishes in bathroom sinks when there’s one much better suited to the task in the kitchen?)

Townie Body Diversity So that townies/dormies/NPCs spawn as fat or fit or “normal,” not just “normal.”
Perfect Plants So that you don’t have to water flower squares or trim shrubbery. Sure, it’s unrealistic, but who has time to do that? It’s also unrealistic for everyone to be able to hire a gardener. I don’t use the one that makes produce gardens perfect, though, because I like my Sims to have to maintain those.
Tweaks I Like for My Own Playstyle:
Most of these are very specific to me, so I’m not going to give a bunch of links, but if anyone wants more specifics/links, feel free to yell at me.
I am mostly a wants-based/free-will type of player because I’d rather my Sims decide to do things for themselves, when they don’t have any wants I can actively fill, than tell them what to do. So, I have lots of mods that alter autonomy in-game, either to make things autonomous that aren’t or to modify existing autonomy levels or to make non-autonomous some behaviors that I want to disallow (like autonomously and obsessively smelling every flower square on the lot) in favor of pixels doing other, more interesting/productive things. Some of them I made, others I downloaded.
Lots of Cyjon’s mods. They’re mostly annoyance tweaks or fixes for things that Maxis screwed up and that I want fixed. IMO, everyone ought to go “mod-shopping” at his site. There’re lots of mods there that are very useful for tweaking your game “just so.”
A number of mods that change what skill or hobby enthusiasm an item affects. For instance, this one changes karaoke from a Creativity activity to a Charisma one. (There are tons of things Sims can do to increase creativity, precious few they can do to increase charisma…and most of those things are utterly boring to watch and/or for the Sim to do. Karaoke is fun for the Sim and for me. :) )
