it's so weird to me that horses aren't utilised more in acotar or carriages or ships??? like mortals seem to use them and eris rode into battle on a horse, but how are regular fae getting around if they can't fly or winnow or do they just exist and not go anywhere else
can they visit other courts? are there relationships strictly limited to the court they reside in?

Hello! I'm curious about your opinion when it comes to Feyre's personality when being human vs. High Fae. I feel that when she was a human she was more genuine and down to earth, but when she became High Fae she became more pretentious and put herself on a pedestal? Idk if it's because due to Rhysand's manipulation because she once said that she still remained human by heart but I don't really see it anymore.
Hi anon! Welcome!
I LOVE book 1 Feyre, but then this happens subsequently, and... this happens to be one of my biggest issues with Feyre post-ACOTAR. In my tags and posts about her personality shift, I've referred to it as "white woman syndrome," in that Feyre's behavior truly exemplifies how white women act with regards to oppression obviously not all white women but enough of them and the mindset of white feminists in particular. In short, Feyre feels, as do white women, that only her oppression and struggle in the matter, and only the people who are currently thwarting her are bad, and nobody else's problems or oppression are worth addressing or correcting. Feyre doesn't want real systemic change for a better world where humans and lesser fae and female High fae are truly treated as equals, she just wants better treatment for herself. Mrs. Feyre Archeron doesn't fight for a redistribution of power so that Lesser fae aren't, uh, lesser, or change in the magic system so that females can be chosen as High Lady. The different types of oppression in fae society are never challenged. Feyre is just given the authority fae males have (not really OBVIOUSLY as Rhysand still makes all the ultimate decisions in the Night Court even about Feyre's own body but this is what Sarah tried to write so we'll go along with this understanding for a minute).
That's it. Like you said, Feyre put herself on a pedestal, believing she deserves the authority the High Lords have rather than attempting to change society as a whole. It's because Sarah is a white feminist and cannot help writing Feyre through that lens, that oppression is bad only in that it hinders the white protagonist from being all powerful. The oppression in Prythian sucks not because oppression is BAD but because Feyre thinks that she, and she alone, deserves authority and power and her oppression stops her from getting it. Oppression is not bad because it's oppression, it's bad because it keeps Feyre from being High Lady. It's white feminism 101--only the oppression that affects white women (misogyny) is bad, because it keeps them from having the power white men have, therefore no other issues like racism or homophobia are worth fixing. In the eyes of white feminists, misogyny is bad because it keeps white women from being in the position of white men--the top oppressor. And just like white women irl, Feyre wants to move into the position of oppressor, not truly correct the issues with society as a whole.
And this explains her change in behavior in the books. Feyre gradually grows more selfish as the books go on, because Feyre is the embodiment of white feminism and ultimately wants to move into the role of oppressor, not truly correct systemic oppression. So we're told Feyre is kind, and she really is in book 1 and in the beginning of book 2, but after gaining power she relishes being cruel, enjoys using and abusing her power. She goes to brutalize people in the Court of Nightmares alongside Rhysand, mindrapes Tamin's innocent sentries, uses her daemati abilities to make Ianthe bash her hand, tricks people into worshipping her all while patting herself on the back for how amazing she is at doing so.
Again, this shift happens because Feyre, over the course of ACOMAF, gradually decides that oppression is not bad in and of itself, but that its bad because oppression keeps HER from having power. So why the shift? She didn't change immediately when she was changed into a High Fae, so that's not it. She develops white woman syndrome because of Rhysand. Because he grooms her to be like that, grooms her into desiring the role of oppressor instead of wanting to get rid of oppressive constructs in the first place. Feyre admits as much throughout ACOMAF--over and over again we hear how her "perfect mate" helped "put her back together" and "healed her" and "saved her from the darkness." So yes, it's because of Rhysand's manipulation that Feyre becomes very self-centered towards the end of this series. He grooms her into becoming this way, and while we can discuss the racism and white feminism all day (and we SHOULD) it's also so, so, painfully TRAGIC that he succeeded in grooming her so well.

TarGwyn - My MOST Left Field Theory
Okay so, Tarquin and Gwyn have not interacted at all, have not even been mentioned in the same chapter, like... I am very aware that this is a huge stretch and is most likely me just reading into some pretty writing lol but I can’t quite let go of it! I have like, three very small tiers to this theory. The theory being that Tarquin and Gwyn may be mates, or at least destined for each other.
Please don’t come for me, it’s just been stuck in my head, I’m not trying to put down Gwynriel! I just kinda like the idea of it, because I love both characters very much.
Tier One - A Good Male and The Rock Against Which the Surf Crashes
My biggest point, when I think about it, is that both Gwyn and Tarquin are truly charming and wonderful. Tarquin and Gwyn are both warm and compassionate and honest, optimistic and earnest, but with mighty resolve and courage. Tarquin wants to see a more irreverent, accepting world - and Gwyn has embodied those values time and again in ACOSF. Not to mention the fact that Gwyn is part-nymph, and I do believe that a high lord with ideals being mated to someone who is not full-high fae would help to create the world that Tarquin wants to build.
TARQUIN CHARACTER EVIDENCE:
“I would like to one day see a Prythian in which they [lesser Faeries] have a voice, both in my home and in the world beyond it.” (Tarquin to Feyre ACOMAF Chapter 33)
…that might destroy this place— and a High Lord who might very well overturn the order of things. (Feyre ACOMAF Chapter 34)
Tarquin studied me. “I’d say I’m looking at the most valuable thing in here.”
I didn’t fake the blush. “You’re very kind.” His smile was soft. As if his position had not yet broken the compassion in him. I hoped it never did. (Feyre ACOMAF Chapter 34)
I supposed it was the least of my worries. Tarquin frowned at the map one last time and declared, “We’ll find a way to face this.” (Feyre ACOWAR Chapter 62) [an example of Tarquin’s strong and positive will]
GWYN CHARACTER EVIDENCE:
“Tell yourself, I am the rock against which the surf crashes. Your thoughts are the surf. Let them crash over you.” (Gwyn doing the mind-stilling with Nesta ACOSF Chapter 39) [this is obviously in general a Valkyrie mantra, but when reading the book it definitely feels like it belongs to Gwyn the most]
She’d expected to have to coax her friend, but once Gwyn overcame her initial trepidation, she was a willing participant, and a merry companion. The priestess laughed at her own mistakes, and did not bristle at corrections from Cassian. (Nesta ACOSF Chapter 25)
“Because I don’t ever want to feel powerless again,” Gwyn said softly, and all those easy smiles and bright laughs were gone. Only stark, pained honesty shone in her remarkable eyes. (Nesta ACOSF Chapter 25)
Gwyn smiled again, her eyes bright. “Our stories are worth telling.” (ACOSF Chapter 56)
I could go on and on about Gwyn, but....
Tier Two - Summer and Sea descriptive language
We associate sun and light more with the Day Court and the Dawn Court, and so the only things I’ve ever really noticed as signature Summer Court are the Sea and Heat. SJM, surprisingly, doesn’t actually use a lot of ocean/sea language to describe anyone’s physical appearance in this series, I’ve really only noticed it prominently with Tarquin and Gwyn.
“Tarquin’s eyes—so like the sea beyond us—slid to me. “How do they compare to the ones you have seen?” Such a carefully crafted question.” (ACOMAF Chapter 32)
Gwyn’s eyes shone, like the sunlight on a warm sea. (ACOSF Chapter 51)
And when Gwyn reached the finish line, bloody and panting and grinning so wildly her teal eyes glowed like a sunlit sea, she only extended her battered hand to Azriel. (ACOSF Chapter 60)
“My grandmother was a river-nymph who seduced a High Fae male from the Autumn Court. So I’m a quarter nymph, but it’s enough for this.” Gwyn gestured to her large eyes—blue so clear it could have been the shallow sea—and her lithe body. “My bones are slightly more pliant than ordinary High Fae’s, but who cares about that?” (Gwyn/Nesta ACOSF Chapter 29)
Gwyn, however, stilled, those large teal eyes looking even more unearthly as they widened. No fear tinged her scent, but rather something like surprise—awe. (ACOSF Chapter 28) [Here, my only point is that Unearthly can be interpreted as Sea-ly - what is not earth is sea!]
Also, there’s a quote where Gwyn is compared to a summer storm in ACOSF (in the whole series, the only other non-Tarquin person who has been described with the word summer is Elain, and that was in reference to her similarity to a warm sunset), and a quote from ACOMAF where Feyre talks about the sea singing to her:
Quiet settled around her, as if Gwyn had been a summer storm that blew in and evaporated within a moment. (ACOSF Chapter 9)
The salt and the sea and the breeze tugged on me, sang to me. (ACOMAF Chapter 33)
Tier Three - The Significance of Colors
I think that we can all agree SJM wields color in a specific way a lot of the time - for example with Azriel and Cassian’s siphons or Mor and Amren’s signature colors. I noticed a ton of similarities in the colors associated with Tarquin and the Summer Court and those associated with Gwyn.
Tarquin and Summer
High Lord of Summer had rich brown skin, white hair, and eyes of crushing, turquoise blue. (Feyre ACOMAF Chapter 32)
She looked over Tarquin, tall and muscled, his clothes of sea-green and blue and gold, (Feyre ACOMAF Chapter 32)
Tarquin’s pewter tunic was accented with the same shade of seafoam green as my clothes. We might as well have been a matching set. I supposed with my brown-gold hair and pale skin, I was his mirror opposite. (Feyre ACOMAF Chapter 34) [Gwyn and Feyre have virtually the same coloring for the purposes of this contrast]
silver-and-blue armor of Tarquin’s court (Feyre ACOWAR Chapter 36)
Gwyn
Her large teal eyes were as clear and depthless as the stone usually atop a priestess’s hood (Nesta ACOSF Chapter 9)
Gwyn reached into the pocket of her pale robe and pulled out the blue stone of the priestesses. It fluttered with light, like the sun on a shallow sea. (Nesta ACOSF Chapter 15)
In the sunlight, the color of her hair was extraordinary, strands of gold glinting, and her teal eyes were a near-perfect match to the stones the other priestesses wore. (Nesta ACOSF Chapter 25)
Nesta refrained from snickering and selected colors for Gwyn: blue, white, and teal. (Nesta ACOSF Chapter 59)
She angled her head, hair shining like molten metal. (Azriel ACOSF Bonus Chapter)
Also, Varian is literally always at the Night Court, so Summer Court is also low-key always in play :P

One thing I really wish ACOTAR would do is put some slight emphasis on immortality and mortality because we see some fae trying to live alongside humans and fae going about things like there is always a short deadline on things and their running out of time and it makes it seem like immortality and mortality hold no stakes. For example, the band of exiles, Luciens and immortal and two people he cares about are mortal and there doesn’t seem to be any thought of if he’s going to lose more people he cares about because it’s inevitable.
Or after Feyre was Made and her sisters were still human I don’t remember her thinking about how her sisters would die in what would be a blink of the eye for her. It never seemed to occur to her that her family, while not close to them, would be long gone before she would get to maybe 2 centuries which is nothing to fae.
I feel like there was something in acomaf where Feyre thought about her sisters growing old without her... but I could be wrong. Hybern says something about Feyre initially being human to Rhys in acomaf (I looked it up) and I think it's in acowar when Ianthe tells Lucien he should be glad that Elain turned?
The thing that I would find interesting is if the older, immortal fae actually acted like they were older and immortal. They all act like people we would just see on the street. They don't even act like old humans. The only High Fae who acts ancient is Amren. I wish more of them acted like her, in the sense that she is jaded but still cares about her people, you know? She has lived lifetimes and sees the world in a completely different way from everyone else. I like that about her. The only other characters we get like that are lesser fae, so they have little to nothing in common with humans.
And yeah also the impact of fae and humans living so close together but having such different lives... A lot of the fae look down on humans but not all of them. There must be stories about them trying to defy fate or something.

acowar predictions
As it’s only a little over a week, I want to just post some fast personal predictions I have for SJM’s third book of her A Court of Thorns and Roses series, A COURT OF WINGS AND RUIN.
Got the questions from @abookandacoffee (so thank you) but I wanted to answer all the questions here too!
Please avoid if you don’t want to get spoiled in any way (although I will probably get all of this or most wrong! :P
acowar prediction asks
1) Do you want any other POVs besides Rhys or Feyre? Which? Personally I don’t want any other POV besides Rhys and Feyre. I want Nessian POVs in their spin off books (which I’m hoping will be about them) Too much POV ruins a book for me tbh.
2) If you could only pick one ship, elucien, nessian, or moriel, to officially become canon (IE declaration of love or, ahem, physical consummation), which would it be? NESSIAN. All the way.
3) Do you have any theories about what will happen with the war? Other than the fact that they will win it, I have no idea! They’ll get allies from other courts plus probably new enemies from the other half of the courts too.
4) Cassian’s wings. Go. I kinda hope they don’t heal as I think it will be a very interesting character development for him. But on the other hand, I want him to be whole again and not in pain. CRIES.
5) Do you think we will see Miryam and Drakon? Do you want to? Yes! All the signs from the previous book ACOMAF points that we will see them! And I am so excited. Maybe they are the special new winged characters we’ll meet in this book!
6) Which character (outside of Rhys and Feyre) do you want to see getting the most development? I want Lucien to get back to what he was like in ACOTAR, where he was so sassy and nice and actually had a backbone instead of being scared of Tamlin the tool. Also, I AM so excited for Nesta’s character development. She is the one most like me from the series.
7) Tamlin: redemption or death? DEATH. I DON’T CARE ABOUT HIM. I hope he dies a brutal death. Although I think SJM will give him a redemption arc. Ugh.
8) Do you think anyone will die in ACOWAR (that we care about, that is)? Who? I have always said I think Azriel or Mor will die. I don’t want them too but I think they will. Lucien and Elain are also in trouble I think. Maybe Amren too?
9) What role do you think the other courts will play in the war? I defo think they will get half of them on their side and the other half on Hybern/Tamlin’s side. I hope to see Tarquin and the Summer court on the inner circle’s side!
10) Are there any minor characters (e.g. the Bone Carver, the Weaver) that you’d like to see again? Hmm maybe the Suriel? He’s the gossip girl of the series lmao. Also Alis!
11) How effective of a spy do you think Feyre will be, really? I think she will ve very powerful and sneaky but will probably get caught in the end.,
12) Which court do you most want to see in ACOWAR? I can’t wait to meet the winter court (as that’s my favourite time of the year. Oh also the Dawn!
13) Lesser fae - do you want to see more of them? I forgot what exactly are the lesser fae? Illyrians? If so, yes.
14) How do you think Elain will react to the mating bond with Lucien? Hmm she’ll probably be so confused and quite awkward about it considering she was just engaged to someone else.
15) Would you rather Nesta train as a warrior, or more of a strategist? Do you think she’ll actually be willing to help out the Night Court? More of a strategist to be honest! Women don’t always have to be warriors or be a fighter to be seen as strong. I think she’s a headstrong and confident woman who will do better being the boss lol. And I think it’ll take some time to turn her around (helping out the night court)
16) Mor’s power - what would you like it to be? I hope to see more of it, don’t know much about her powers or strength.
17) What do you think the dynamic between Lucien and Feyre will be like in the Spring Court? I think Lucien will know immediately that Feyre is acting weird/as a spy and I can’t wait to see their dynamic! Lucien won’t be falling for her tricks as much as Tamlin I’m sure.
18) How do you think the Cauldron might come into play in the war? No idea!
19) The mortal queens: do you think they all survived taking a Cauldron bath? What would you like to see happen with them? Oh god. I hated them!
20) Amren: what is she, really? Would you be ok if she got to go home? I think she may be a dragon or something really cool like that? A mythical creature? And I would be soo sad when she leaves but I also think she might.
21) Jurian or the King of Hybern or Ianthe: who needs to die more? IANTHE. BITCHANTHE.
22) What smut scenes would you like to see in the book? ALL THE SMUT SCENES.ALL. FEYSAND.
23) Babies - yea or nay? If you had to pick one couple to have a mini, who would it be? No babies please. If I have to pick a couple, it’ll be Feysand but I’m really hoping not!
24) How do you think Nesta and Elain will react to being thrust into the Night Court after going for a swim in the Cauldron? I think it’ll take some time for them to get used to their new surroundings and powers.
25) How quickly are you going to read this book, exactly? Do you want spoilers? Or are you going to avoid tumblr like the plague? AS QUICKLY AS I CAN. Will probably read it in one sitting or in 2 days. Hopefully I’m not too busy at uni that I can just leave it for a few days.
26) What are three things you do NOT want from ACOWAR? Tamlin/Feyre sleeping together, any of the inner circle die, hopefully no babies!
27) What are your top three wishes for ACOWAR that you would metaphorically (or literally) kill for? FEYSAND smut, Nessian confirmation (they don’t have to be mates, just couples or getting there) and Tamlin’s death.
I AM DYING FOR THIS BOOK.

ACOWAR Predictions
Rights to the lovely @abookandacoffee for all of these awesome questions.
I’m just going to answer all of these bc I need to get it out of my system and I’m about to EXPLODE WITH ALL OF THE FEELINGS I HAVE ABOUT THIS. Also this is going to be fucking long and foul language will occur. And spoilers (duh)
1) Do you want any other POVs besides Rhys or Feyre? Which?
Can I have all of them??? Ummm... I really want all of the Inner Court, Feyre’s sisters, Lucien, and Tamlin (only bc I want to see what the fuck he’s up to). SOOOOOOO basically all of them.
2) If you could only pick one ship, elucien, nessian, or moriel, to officially become canon (IE declaration of love or, ahem, physical consummation), which would it be?
The thing about Elucien is that it came out of FUCKING NOWHERE, but I know that Queen Maas does everything for a reason and Elucien will come into the light and be important in the plot and be THE MOST adorable couple in ACOWAR.
Nessian is just all of the angst and hate/love tension and I love it. I love it so much and I don’t know why, but I love it.
Moriel seems like the most likely one to happen, just based on the fact that they’ve known each other for A CENTURY or some crazy amount of time like that. But they’ve also known each other FOR A CENTURY AND HAVEN’T DONE ANYTHING WITH THEIR FEELINGS. THEY TREAD THE LINE BETWEEN FRIENDSHIP AND LOVERS BUT DON’T CROSS IT AND IT PLAYS WITH MY FEELINGS.
I’m torn between Nessian and Moriel, but Moriel feels the most tangible for some reason, so I’ll go with them.
3) Do you have any theories about what will happen with the war?
SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE SARAH SAID IT HERSELF AND I THINK IT’S GOING TO BE MOR AND FUUUUCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. My baby Az will not be okay and Cassian’s gonna loose his shit and Rhys will be heartbroken bc they’re close and Feyre will be heartbroken bc Mor was her first girlfriend. AND IM GOING TO BE HEARTBROKEN BECAUSE MORRIGAN WAS GOING TO BE THE QUEEN OF THE COURT OF NIGHTMARES AND SHE WAS GOING TO BE THE GREATEST QUEEN EVER. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
4) Cassian’s wings. Go.
OKAY. I have to be optimistic bc I have no other option. I am going to assume that the frame of his wings will be okay and hopefully there’s some kind of version of that spider-silk shit from TOG (that saved Abraxos’s wings) and that shit will save his wings. MY BBY WILL HAVE HIS WINGS AND HE WILL LIVE HAPPILY WITH NESTA AND EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY. OKAY? OKAY
5) Do you think we will see Miryam and Drakon? Do you want to?
I do think that Rhysand is going to get as many allies as he can against Hybern (while Feyre is kicking ass and taking names in the Spring Court!!!) and that will include Miryam and Drakon. I wasn’t really interested in them until I read this fanfiction about Miryam being Rowan’s daughter (credit to the author, I’m so sorry i don’t remember your name) and that got me interested in them, so I do want to see them.
6) Which character (outside of Rhys and Feyre) do you want to see getting the most developement?
Nesta. She needs to redeem herself and apologize to all the people she has given shit to.
And Azriel. He needs to figure out that HE IS WORTHY OF LOVE AND HAPPINESS. ESPECIALLY WITH MORRIGAN.
7) Tamlin: redemption or death?
Can’t he have both? I want him to redeem himself by switching sides at the last minute and apologizing for everything. And then he dies during battle, but no one is with him when he dies and no one notices until later when Lucien’s like “where’s Tam?” They find his cold body on the battlefield and Lucien broken-hearted and Elain’s comforting him and everyone else is either sad or angry.
8) Do you think anyone will die in ACOWAR (that we care about, that is)? Who?
LIKE I SAID EARLIER I HAVE A FEELING THAT MOR I GOING TO DIE AND I HATE IT BUT IT’S THERE.
9) What role do you think the other courts will play in the war?
I want all of the other courts to join the Night Court. I think if that does happen, then the Summer and Spring Court will be the most resistant. OR MAYBE one of the courts will be a DOUBLE SPY!!!! Who knows?
10) Are there any minor characters (e.g. the Bone Carver, the Weaver) that you’d like to see again?
SURI!!! And I want to see Lucien’s brothers and the Court of NIghtmares so justice will be served accordingly.
11) How effective of a spy do you think Feyre will be, really?
Hopefully, her eavesdropping techniques will have improved from when she did it in ACOTAR...
12) Which court do you most want to see in ACOWAR?
DAWN COURT. OH MY GISH I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT IT.
13) Lesser fae - do you want to see more of them?
YES!!! I want to learn whether or not there are different types of species of fae or of it’s like humans, where they just have different characteristics but they’re the same species.
14) How do you think Elain will react to the mating bond with Lucien?
I think at first she’ll be like, “The frick frack diddly dack does that mean?” and someone will have to explain mates to her, but they explain it wrong bc then she’s like, “Oh. It’s like a lifetime best friend. I’ve always wanted one of those.” And then her and Fox Boy will become besties, but she’s still with her hubby who hates fae, so Lucien is like a little secret. ANd he lets her stay with the fae-hater bc he wants her to be happy (and he’s not a fucktard like Tam) And then one day she’s talking to someone (probs Nesta) about Lucien and Nesta’s like, “sounds like your in love...” ANd Elain’s like “Whaaaaaaaaa??.....” But then she thinks about it and she’s like, “oh crapdoodle, I am in love with him.” So she confronts Lucien about this revelation and he’s like, “I’ve always loved you, my daisy.” (he gives her flower related nicknames and it’s the cutest thing ever). And they live happily ever after bc Tam’s dead (see #7) and they rule the Spring Court.
15) Would you rather Nesta train as a warrior, or more of a strategist? Do you think she’ll actually be willing to help out the Night Court?
Both, but she’s a better strategist than warrior. I think that eventually she’ll trust the entirety of the Inner Circle, prob after one of them saves her life from a training thing or whatever.
16) Mor’s power - what would you like it to be?
I HAVE NO IDEA BUT SHE’S GOTTA BE POWERFUL AS SHIT BC SHES THIRD IN COMMAND, MORE POWERFUL THAN CASS AND AZ. And we know she has healing powers (from the end of ACOMAF) but isn’t that common?...
WAIT WHAT IF IT’S LIKE MANON AND ASTERIN AND SORREL WHERE THEY BALANCE EACH OTHER OUT
Rhys = darkness  Amren = badass monster thing  Mor = light???
Light power (like alina!!!) makes sense bc she’s upbeat and cheery most of the time. idk
17) What do you think the dynamic between Lucien and Feyre will be like in the Spring Court?
I feel like Feyre will use Elain against Lucien to get info or to keep him from telling Tam about her spying (that’s terrible, but...)
Or maybe Lucien will stop being so gray and he’ll side with Feyre bc they’re besties and so he can be with Elain and then he’ll be a spy alongside Feyre and he can get info that Feyre can’t.
18) How do you think the Cauldron might come into play in the war?
One of the sides is going to use it to win the war with the immense power it has. I saw something in a post by someone who caught this thing they saw in a book: apparently Cerridwen (one of the twins in the NIght Court) means “keeper of the cauldron” or something like that. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So hopefully that’s prevalent.
19) The mortal queens: do you think they all survived taking a Cauldron bath? What would you like to see happen with them?
Nope. I would like to see them die (except for the lion one) NEXT
20) Amren: what is she, really? Would you be ok if she got to go home?
SHE IS A BADASS MOTHERFUCKER AND IM SO EXCITED TO FIND OUT HER OTHER SELF. If she’s happy going home, then I’m happy; but she will be missed *insert sad face*
21) Jurian or the King of Hybern or Ianthe: who needs to die more?
Jurian is a jealous bitch and the King of Hybern is your typical dramatic evil dude but IANTHE NEEDS TO DIE THAT MOTHERFUCKER NEEDS TO DIE A TERRIBLE DEATH BY THE HANDS OF FEYRE. Just... WHAT A BITCH!!!!
22) What smut scenes would you like to see in the book?
ALL OF THEM???? Mostly Moriel (around the middle of the book, after Azriel comes to his senses) and Nessian (not until the very end, before the war, when she has apologized for all of her horribleness)
23) Babies - yea or nay? If you had to pick one couple to have a mini, who would it be?
None of the Inner Court bc none of them are stable enough to have a child. Also Feysand themselves said that they wanted to wait A WHILE before they did (ACOMAF, end of Chap 55). Not Elucien bc they’ve only met once and that would be messy.
I think it would be hilarious if Tamlin and Ianthe had a one-night-stand baby. OOOHHHHH and then Elucien would adopt the bby (bc those other bitches are dead) and he grows up all good and pure and he’s a part of the whole big family.
24) How do you think Nesta and Elain will react to being thrust into the Night Court after going for a swim in the Cauldron?
Sidenote: I love how this question is worded.
Nesta will, of course, resist it with every fiber in her being and then, with convincing, slowly accept it.
Elain will be uncomfortable with it, but she’s an optimist, so she’ll come round a lot faster than Nesta will.
25) How quickly are you going to read this book, exactly? Do you want spoilers? Or are you going to avoid tumblr like the plague?
Okay. My friend, who is also an avid fan of ACOTAR, and I have agreed that we will wait until the summer to read ACOWAR, so one of us doesn’t finish before the other and psych the other out, which is what happened with ACOMAF. So from May 2nd until after we finish Lord of Shadows, my friend and I will be avoiding social media like the plague. My friend doesn’t do social media, so she’ll be fine be fine with this. I, however, have a sort of relationship with Tumblr darling. so this adjustment will be.....interesting.
26) What are three things you do NOT want from ACOWAR?
In no particular order: babies, death of the Good Peeps, and Feylin sex scene (won’t Calamai happen while Feyre is in the Spring Court?)
27) What are your top three wishes for ACOWAR that you would metaphorically (or literally) kill for?
Also in no particular order, CASSIAN’S WINGS TO BE SAVED, MOR’S POWER (WTF IS IT), THE INNER CIRCLE BEING BADASS MOTHERFUCKERS KICKING HYBERN ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note
Just saw your post about Feyre being a white girl boss feminist (totally agree!!) so I was wondering your opinion on how Feyre’s personality as a whole changed throughout the series?
For example, I once tried to say on my own blog that Sarah kind of murdered Feyre’s personality after ACOTAR and got a bunch of backlash about “you hate to see women healed” “people only like female protagonists when they’re depressed/feral” which.. is not what I meant HAHA
So I was just curious how you felt about her personality shift? Like do you think she’s “healed” or do you think Sarah ripped out her backbone
Thank you so much! Yeah, this fandom is CRAZY and, depending on where you are in stan spaces (hanging out more with the Feyre stans or the Nesta stans or the Sarah critical peeps etc) you would’ve been DOGPILED on for this take so I feel for you 😭😭😭
But I recommend reading this post first if you haven’t already because it really sums up my thoughts on her character shift. As I mentioned there, it’s definitely white feminism, and it’s not healing in as much as it's Feyre becoming a member of the oppressor class too. Feyre's arc is going from victim to, not an empowered survivor, but to an oppressor as well. Her grievance with Prythian's system of power isn’t that humans and lesser fae and High Fae women I refuse to say females are permanently an underclass, but that SHE is part of that underclass. And once she perceives herself to be above that by becoming High Lady (in name only but anyway—) she no longer cares about, say, trying to make things better for women as a whole, such as by helping women escape the Court of Nightmares. Don’t get me wrong—Sarah tries to sell Feyre as a kind, good High Lady who cares about them, but there is a marked difference between that and Feyre in her debut. Book 1 Feyre definitely cares about the underclass, getting angry over Tamlin's DISHES being too opulent for Pete’s sake. She felt that the rulers living in opulence was playing in the face of the poor and disenfranchised. Compare that to Feyre later on accepting a fifth palace from Rhysand as a present while Velaris is STILL rebuilding, while ACOSF confirms Velaris has slums. The Feyre who felt that rulers living in luxury while people suffered under their rule—book 1 Feyre—would’ve despised the very thought. So again—Feyre's personality shift isn’t her healing, it’s her finding her place in and formally joining the oppressor class and upholding the status quote.
And again, as I said in that linked essay, this is not the fault of the character herself, but rather Rhysand's grooming her to become complacent with the unjust systems of power in Prythian and grooming her to join him in ruling his court. A court that 2/3 of which is so notoriously bad that Amarantha modeled her court UTM off of it. Again, I doubt book 1 Feyre would tolerate THAT. Even early ACOMAF Feyre chafed under Tamlin's “that’s just how things are” method of ruling his court as impoverished people suffered (see: the tithe). Feyre becomes this way because of Rhysand's grooming her throughout ACOMAF to join his court's oppressor class, and because, outside of the text, the author wants us to believe that joining said oppressor class is healing, actually, and that the resulting “romance” where Rhysand grooms Feyre into accepting and upholding his court's status quo—the personality change you and I both loathe—is worthy of celebration.
