Valeria’s and Laswell’s Wife Gets Hurt Because of their Job

Valeria: Whoever hurt you will wind up tortured and eventually, once she thinks they’ve had enough of their miserable life, will wind up dead. Naturally, the first thing she does is check up on you, see if you’re alright and well, that’s her priority. You’re the love of her life, there’s no one else in this world she wants to see do well. You’ll be admitted to the best hospital nearby and will only get the finest treatment. Once you’re stabilized, that’s when the hunt begins. Whoever hurt you won’t get too far since that bastard’s life will be on the line. Regardless of where they might be hiding, Valeria will find them and show them that death is actually a kind of mercy. She has pretty much everything at her disposal, everything money can buy, this sucker won’t know what hit them. If it’s revenge they want, then revenge they’ll get. Valeria promises you that their head will be on a silver plate. She’s not very good with words when it comes to comforting someone, but she will have that person killed in the most cruel ways she can imagine. In fact, she’ll take the pleasure of torturing them upon herself. Once she’s done, she’ll take some days off, which is surprising since she usually can’t afford that at all. You’ll be under her direct care for those days. Anything you want you’ll get. Afterwards there will be a slight shift in her demeanor, Valeria becomes more protective over you. Sometimes she might even assign some trusted people of hers to watch over you since she can’t afford something like that happening again. While she can’t always take some days off, she’ll try to be closer to you anyway. Always texting you, finding excuses to come home for a day maybe. She just really needs to make sure you’re okay, she wouldn’t know what to do with herself if you died.

Laswell: Laswell will try to be a bit more diplomatic about it at first, trying to coax whoever hurt you out of hiding. This person will be held accountable for their crimes against her world. Naturally, she rescues you first, gets you to the nearest hospital and won’t leave your side until you’re stable again. If it takes you a while to wake up again, she’ll leave to find the fucker and make sure they swim with the fishes. She has a pretty large, efficient network and will find out who it was fairly easily. Once she knows who they are, she won’t hesitate to find out all their past crimes as well, if they hurt you then they must have done some other awful things as well. Once that phase is over, she’ll go to their home herself and have them arrested, put in the worst prison imaginable where the inmates are treated especially badly. She won’t kill them, but she wouldn’t be surprised if they wind up dead anyway. Laswell usually isn’t an evil person, but she does hope that person dies during their time. Their sentence will be as long as possible so there’s no chance of them ever seeing the sunlight again either. Once all of this is over, she, too, would take some days off to spend with you. You’re a priority above all else, so Laswell will want to be there for you, no matter the cost. While she usually isn’t, depending on how severely you got hurt she might become a bit overbearing, a bit overprotective. That overprotectiveness will last for a few months, afterwards she’ll try to give you some space again. However, she’ll always be keeping a closer eye on you, always texting or calling you every once in a while to make sure you’re okay. If she needs to, she’ll put you under her protection officially, but the situation needs to be dire for that to happen. Either way, she’ll be keeping you safe.

Would love to explore some more shu/ake dynamics bc theyre both so interesting to me. Interesting as in they would not be in a traditional relationship; theyd be so incredibly dysfunctional it would genuinely get either of them killed if they were to attempt something prior to the end of base game. Goro is angry and volatile and full of self righteousness, but he is incredibly depressed and miserable and full of self loathing. Hes someone who has been alone for most of his life, and has an incredibly complex relationship with his public facing persona and his goals; he is not ready for someone who will make him challenge his worldview at every chance they can. He refuses to be patronized but he needs someone who will be gentle and understanding. And hell never get that in a normal way bc he views someone being gentle with him as patronizing 😭

So he needs someone who will actively call him out on his bullshit, on his self loathing, and his attitude. But he also needs someone who will be patient with him and remind him that he IS worth something, that hes NOT a failure (hello??? ‘Im…special?’’youre more than special dude’ it was so easy for the thieves to get to him by just validating the work he did, and the trouble hes caused them lol). Akira CAN do this, but i think, w the way ive characterized him, he is just as angry and volatile as Goro, and he wouldnt know how to diffuse their arguments in a productive way. It would be catastrophic as Akira tries to show that he fucking CARES, and goes blind w rage as Goro consistently taunts and defies him and ignores his logic. And Goro would spiral trying to rationalize Akiras behavior as anything other than Good; the assumption that he must be lying and trying to manipulate him would eat at him until hes forced to storm out.

Anyway. All of this to say that shu/ake TO ME is “akira and ryuji are dating, and sometimes goro is there in the background looking like this 👇🏾”

NikPrice and NikPrice x Reader

NikPrice:

Although the two of them may be a bit older than some of their peers, they can still be considered idiots, especially when they’re with one another. Sometimes they get weirdly competitive with each other, which can result in either of them getting hurt. Nikolai leads Chimera and Price leads the TF141, both of them sometimes need to show off just how good they are at some things. Nikolai is usually a pretty calm guy, but he does get a bit cocky with Price, so he’ll instigate some competitions. Who can carry the most groceries. Who can find the most dogs and take pictures with them. Who will be favored the most for the week among their boys. It’s just dumb things, and Nikolai does try to cheat his way through most of them, but Price knows him well enough by now to know how he will try to weasel his way into victory. Price usually plays fair and forces Nikolai to do the same. The winner gets bragging rights and that’s about it. Sometimes they poker on who pays for dinner, but they don’t really mess around too much when it comes to more serious stuff. However, they both also compete with each other to show off just how good of a partner they are, even if there’s no need to do that anymore. They can both be proud as peacocks and always need to outdo one another.

Although it may sound stupid, the two of them do spar with each other from time to time. Since they’re about equal in strength it’s actually quite interesting to watch the two of them fight, both have a pretty good technique as well. However, Nikolai has more experience under his belt since he’s quite a bit older than Price. Again, he’s also not above cheating by trying to entice Price with just about anything he can think of. They’re adults, they’re leaders, but they are still morons with each other. Sometimes they fight over the TV remote when Price wants to watch his football game and Nikolai wants to tease him. Price gets mad every time he misses the football game just because he lost to his stupid lover. Nikolai gets a good laugh out of it every time. Although he may love Price more than anyone else, he can be a playful and cocky bastard at times. He makes up for it by taking Price to a real football game in a stadium, though. Can’t enrage the boyfriend too much all the time. Price is usually overjoyed when he does since he gets really into it. There’s nothing better than enjoying some football with Nikolai. Unless Nikolai teases Price about his team losing. In that case the two of them won’t be talking more than necessary for an hour. However, Price goes back to normal after the initial anger of his team losing has worn off.

Nikolai is actually a chef of the master class. He can cook just about anything and make it well at that too. Since he’s been pretty much everywhere at this point he’s learned quite a few recipes from all around the world. He also knows how to use his spices well. Though, his favorite recipes to make are still Russian ones. The two of them cook together often, it relaxes them. Besides, Price gets the privilege of eating Nikolai’s pirozhki before anyone else does. It’s an honor to him since he’s never had anything better in his life. Loves being Nikolai’s taste tester as well. Price isn’t as good a cook as Nikolai, but he does like showing his appreciation for all the good food by cooking something in return. However, his food is kind of bland. It could be worse, but it could also use a lot more spices. Nikolai used to tease Price about that before, but he’s stopped since as Price really does put a lot of effort into cooking for Nikolai. The latter really isn’t so mean to genuinely hurt his boyfriend like that. He does give Price some constructive criticism, though. Offers to help with cooking next time, but both of them know that Nikolai will just take the lead. But in the end, they both really do enjoy cooking with each other, regardless of who makes the main dish. They also get really chatty during it.

NikPrice x Reader

Considering how long they’ve been with each other, they've gotten used to it, but you genuinely cannot cuddle them during summer. You’ll become a sweaty mess and won’t be able to sleep at all since they’re both very warm. Nikolai more so than Price. However, the two of them can cuddle each other just fine since they’re used to warmer nights because of all the missions they’ve gone on. However, it’s pretty nice in winter. They’re two big, burly and warm men who love to make you feel toasty. Price is actually a pretty cuddly guy and Nikolai can be too with the right people. If you’re not on the cuddly side then they’ll settle for giving you a pat on the back every once in a while or just holding your hand. But Price loves touching you and Nikolai. He doesn’t need to do it every single waking moment, but it’s nice to hold your loved ones. Nikolai can go either way, but he’s pretty cuddly with Price. Sometimes the two of them fight over who gets to be the big spoon, other times they’ll just plop into each other’s arms. If you’re shorter than them then you’ll likely get sandwiched between them. If you’re as tall or taller than them then they might ask you to take on the role of big spoon. Sure, they won’t mind it when you’re shorter than them, but they’ll chuckle since you’re just a little backpack.

Both of them will try to teach you how to fight and defend yourself. Even if you’re capable of that already, they’ll teach you something anyway. They’re both military men, they know what they’re talking about. Besides, it’s not as unlikely as one might think that you might get hurt because of them. You need to be able to defend yourself. They’ll take turns teaching you, improving your form and all. They’ll sometimes even deliberately spar in front of you so you could learn something from them fighting with each other. They won’t be as rough with you as they are with each other, especially not if you’re not part of the military, but they’ll be diligent in teaching you either way. If you’re part of the military then they’ll be rougher with you, but not as rough as with each other. Nikolai and Price have known each other for so long, they know where each other’s limits are. You’re the newest addition, so there’s still things they need to get to know. But I can assure you they will take good care of you. They’ll also reward you if you’re doing especially well during your little training lessons. Nikolai tries to bribe you into doing well by offering to cook your favorite meal if you do so.

The two of them actually spoil you rotten, especially if you don’t earn as much money as they do. Nikolai earns even more money than Price, so he has quite a lot to spend. Loves buying you and him all kinds of things. These can range from something useful to just something he saw and thought you might like. Price doesn’t like being indebted to people, so he always tries to buy Nikolai something back, even insisting that he shouldn’t buy him as many things. Nikolai never listens to him in that regard. And since Price buys Nikolai things he has to buy something for you as well. Sometimes it’s just your favorite kind of cake, sometimes it’s some nice and expensive jewelry. It’s always a mystery with Price. You don’t have to feel obligated to buy them something either. You’re more than welcome to if you have the finances to do so, but if you usually barely get by then you really shouldn’t have to. In fact, if you don’t have a lot of money then the two of them will pay for just about anything you need. Clothes, food, other necessities. It doesn’t matter. Together they have more money than they know what to do with anyway. It’s nice to spend it on someone you love and make them happy anyway. Don’t pay them back, they’ll find your bank account and return the money. They love you, let them pamper you like the little royalty you are.

Still no sign of Silver in Sonic Prime, why can't he be in any of the cartoons??

I don't follow Prime, but in its defense, I think the apparent lack of any characters other than Sonic, Eggman, Shadow, Big, Knuckles, Rouge, Tails, and Amy (it really feels like I'm missing people but I don't think I am? That group feels somewhat small when you look at how many characters the Sonic franchise has) can simply be explained by the premise. With five-or-so Shatterspaces it gives five characters who need to be redesigned for each world, including that Egg Council, so 25 models total. In that regard, I can see why they don't want to make even more models and characters, be it to be part of the Shatterspace or stay outside of it like Sonic and Shadow.

....But that does mean that a not-that-small chunk of Sonic cast regulars is simply not touched upon: think of Silver, Blaze, the Chaotix, Cream, Omega, or Metal Sonic (I heard some stuff about Metal but I really have no idea if he is in it or not). I myself really would have preferred a setting wherein more of the cast would be shown than just different versions of the same characters; that definitely would have enticed me more to watch it. At the same time, that probably would also be taxing with voice acting and stuff, and maybe with making the models if they can't 'reuse' parts of one model for another. As it stands, I would love for Silver to ever show up in a cartoon, but my hopes are not too high :/ I guess we'll just have to wait and see if he ever shows up!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

starting next month, my commission prices will be raising

i'm making an early announcement so that anyone who wants to snag a piece at my current prices has the chance to, but starting novemeber, my prices will be changing.

commission slots will be open until the end of the month, but once november rolls around i'll be closed until i'm through my queue.

reopened prices will be higher, as currently, the amount of time it takes and strain it puts on my wrists isn't worth what i'm charging, and as much as i really want to keep my commissions as accessible as possible, i'll also be starting a job part time due to lack of funds.

honestly something that is more annoying than "that character would not fucking say that" or "i'm assigning you to actually look at the source material again" type headcanons are when you come across a headcanon where there is nothing technically wrong with it and you can't sit there and say "well you just don't get this like i do" because there is no actual solid evidence that whatever they're saying can't be the case, but it still feels like mischaracterization because of your own way too intense headcanons. and you're aware of that so you just have to sit there silently telling yourself "that is just as valid a read of the character as my interpretation :)" and trying not to go ham because you know you have genuinely no justification for feeling like canon is being ignored

#sorry for me this is whenever someone is like 'birdie is a widower and had a healthy relationship with his boys' mom' #technically until the 18th this is as canon as any other interpretations as to why birdie is a single dad #like nobody is reading anything WRONG here it just feels so fundamentally wrong to ME #(in all honesty though my main reasoning is that his whole character is mourning people he's lost. if he lost a partner he loved deeply #who was the mother of his children who he CANONICALLY loves and misses... he would be a wreck about it. as it is he never mentions the boys #mom and neither does his bio. his entire bio is an explanation of his worst losses and why he feels the need to drink. a loving partner #would probably get a mention. the fact that he was a /widower/ and not just a 'single dad' would get a mention #also considering the fact that there is a HEAVY implication that he's the only one paying for his kids' medical bills it doesn't #seem like a coparenting situation where maybe he just calls himself a single dad because majority custody or w/e. idk not to keep giving #this poor man a bunch of L's but 'birdie with a loving relationship to the boys' mom' just feels incomprehensible. she's clearly not in #their lives so the answers are she's dead or a deadbeat. he doesn't mourn her which takes dead off the table. sooooooooooo) #(okay so i suppose i do have some reasonings but i am aware i'm insane about them) #(.... any thoughts i have about kryptos gravity falls definitely falls under this tho)

So some speculative projects:

Doing some digging for SEO purposes, I found out that there's general interest in even bigger d20s than what I already make.

The blue is the standard size (mine are 22mm), the glittery one is 30mm, which is a relatively normal large d20, but the white one (made of paper) is 50mm!

(I kept seeing 55mm mentioned, but I had this one on hand back from when I was choosing fonts for the then new masters.)

Like heck! It is big! It still easily fits in my hand, but it's so much bigger!

I'm.. so tempted. It's such a satisfyingly large d20. Getting it printed will be its own adventure.

Speaking of adventures, do y'all need somewhere to keep track of yours? I may have something for that!

Some dicey notebooks (as in the pattern, not the quality)

The top one is the first prototype I got but it wasn't the best quality so I shopped around for a bit and found the nicer, larger one with lined, perforated pages! It has a nice matte hardcover with nice, thick black textured paper as the cover pages

And like I'm not going to show my chaotic notes I took from the commissions I did leading up to Christmas, because those are mostly just the lessons I learned along the way and it's just a chaotic mess..

But I honestly really like how they turned out.

I have these pretty much ready to put up in 10 different colors.

They would be print-on-demand but mine arrived within a week so it's not too bad.

I may also do some other patterns or artwork on the covers if there's interest!

#some speculative shop things #i honesty really love the quality of the larger notebook that i chose #theyre also less expensive to produce which is wild #because the smaller ones dont stay open very well and the text block was very roughly cut #meanwhile the larger ones sit flatter and have a nicer cover and have cleaner cuts on the text block #i actually tried to soft launch the notebooks a while ago on the shop but i dont think the listings were that great #that yellow one is my favorite of the ones i made and the brown is my second favorite #and i am using the yellow one we made stencils so i can use it as a weekly planner #also I'm intrigued by the idea of doing the bigger d20 #i just need a few people to enable me on this one tbh and I'd gladly do it #i even have a plan for how to get hopefully decent prints of it in parts so we can use the fdm printer G has #it would only work at this larger scale because thr way I'm thinking is face-by-face which would take some assembly but I'm fine with that #if it means theyre less likely to end up warped or have a ton of support to deal with #he has an ender 3 pro and i bought filament for him to use for prototypes like this #it's definitely been helpful to have at least some ability to have things 3d printed #I'm lucky i ended up with an engineering nerd who loves to do stuff like this
