As of 07/14/2023
Hello Readers! Just wanted to pop on and say a quick thank you to all of you that have been so patient with my snail paced writing. I’m starting to get back in the swing of things and it’s my intention to post more frequently.
I just wanted to share a quick glimpse at my WIP list and hopefully pique curiosity. Most of these are working titles and subject to change.

Midnight Pleasures - Vampire AU fic where Hob makes a deal with a vampire named Dream. In exchange, Hob needs to help Dream hunt down a rogue creation of his.
[Still Untitled] - Hobrintheus PWP oneshot where Dream fucks Hob and the Corinthian in the Sea of Nighmares. Eldritch horror sexytimes ensues.
[Still Untitled] - Dreamling Regency Era + Omegaverse AU. All your usual trappings of courting and marriage + sexytimes
[Still Untitled] - Dreamling human AU where Dream is a romance novel audiobook narrator, and Hob may be obsessed with his voice.
[Still Untitled] Dreamling twoshot where Desire's realm is invaded by Hell, and Dream is injured in an unique way trying to drive off Lucifer. Pretty basic fuck or die premise.
There's more but these are the ones I've opened up in the last two weeks to work on! Plus that lovely sacrificial maiden AU I wrote yesterday, but that one's completed, just making small edits to it now. I think almost all of these have some sort of preview on my Writing Masterpost, which is also pinned to the top of my blog.

A Knight’s Tale (wip 1)
Long ago, humans crash landed on the planet of Wostria. Thousands of years later, the last free human kingdom in the land of the elves is under attack. The princess is rescued and travels far away with the expectation that they’ll come back someday to reclaim their homeland. Once away from everything familiar to them, they realized they’d rather be a prince than a princess. Currently at the academy for knights, Nettle has their first experience on the field and is horrified by what they saw. Will they stay true to themself or accomplish what is expected of them?

The opening ball of the season was swarmed with undead. Four people are sent to investigate how and why they were able to get so close to the city on that night, some prepared and some completely not. What they found tumbled them into a quest beyond their reckoning. Is any of what they were taught by the church true? Each of them must balance this new mystery with the social obligations of the season and the expectations that their family has placed upon them.

Will he ever be able to make it back home?

Thank you @nooneshome12 for the tag. I haven’t published anything yet so they’re all WIPs! But maybe this will hold me accountable to actually publish something soon. These are all BOTW based because it’s what I know best.
Untitled Dream Fic: Link works through who he was versus who he is now
Zombie!Link AU: Maybe the Shrine of Resurrection didn’t work like we all thought it would
Regency Era AU: I’m a sucker for Regency era romances and I’ll be darned if zelink doesn’t slot into that nicely. Lady Zelda needs to save her family’s estate and marriage is the only answer. But she wants to marry for love, and won’t settle the dastardly Lord Ganon despite her father’s wishes. It can be hard to find a good match, however, when you’re often covered in mud because you’re chasing frogs for science and always talk about Sheikah relics. But one day a mysterious Duke arrives in town, and Zelda can’t get his blue eyes out of her mind. Cue fancy balls, misunderstandings, kidnappings, duels and more!
Master Thief AU: Det. Zelda Bosphoramus is determined to ferret out the identities of the two thieves plaguing Hyrule, codenamed the Princess and the Hero. It’s her first big case since joining Major Crimes at Castletown PD and it doesn’t help that her father, Capt. Rhoam, is breathing down her neck for results. What do these two thieves want with the Sheikah artifacts they steal? And just who are they?
I have a few more ideas but they’re not fleshed out enough for me to feel confident in sharing them yet! And I don’t really have anyone to tag so I guess I’m mostly posting this for myself.

WIP Folder Game
Rules: post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Send me an ask with the title that most intrigues you and interests you and I’ll post a little snippet of it or tell you something about it! ← part of my trick or treat now :D
Thank you so much for the tag, @eowima! You know, I think we should officially update you to the role of clairvoyant or something, lmao, because you won’t believe how well this fits into my ~master plan.~ (I’ll explain in a second, lol.)
But before I start, um... letmeapologiseinadvancefortheshitshowthatisabouttofollow. My WIPs folder is, er, simply put, a mess. Chaos. A nightmare.
I have an explanation!! I’ve always loved fanfiction and fandoms, and I’ve spent many happy years reading other people’s things - but I’ve never actually been inspired to create something myself. I don’t know, I always had tremendous respect for the creators who were already out there, but I never felt the inclination to join them, you know?
Then I started watching AoS this lockdown, and... well, let’s just say that everything changed. For the first time ever, I woke up in the middle of the night and I had a fic idea, one that was demanding to be written down if I ever wanted to sleep a wink again.
And the more I got into the fandom, the more the fic ideas kept coming, until there was a point where I couldn’t read or watch anything without thinking, “ooh, AoS AU!!” So... into the WIPs folder it went. And as you can well imagine, there’s a lot there now. Like, a lot.
Fitzsimmons was the ship that gave me my first fic idea, so of course there’s stuff for them. Then Huntingbird is the ship that actually pulled me completely and wholeheartedly into the fic verse. And then, of course, Staticquake, the ship that actually got me past my but I’m not good enough fears and, er, got me completely obsessed. I am still not over that.
And last but definitely not least - and, actually, you’re to thank for this, Océane, because it’s your fic that got me hooked on these two awkwardorable idiots - my brain decided that, you know what, if I’m going to write now anyway, I want to do Spideychelle.

Untitled Regency Romance: An Introduction
I suppose it goes without saying, but I'm writing a book. It will, with any luck, be a nice book and one I hope to have properly published some day (even if it's a long away off). This is just my place to put rambles and snippets as I navigate my way through the writing process. Who knows, I may even have a title by the end of all of this.
I hope you find it entertaining and know that my ask box is open if you're curious about any what, whens, hows, or whys. I wouldn't have made this blog otherwise.
Now onto the book itself.
Summary:
Juliana Hamilton's problems are about to be over. In less than a month she will be Lady Ellington. After mistakes in her youth involving, but not limited to, running away, cross dressing, and a passionate affair with a young writer, she is ready to settle into her comfortable, if boring future. The trouble is the past just won't let go.
Extortion and blackmail are dangerous enough things to have hanging over one’s marriage vows, but add in an all too familiar playwright and things are only going to get worse.
If only the past eight years had been as unkind to Mr. Michael Finnegan Smith as they had been to her. Maybe then she would have a better time knowing if the burning in her heart was hatred or love.

I’ve chosen to share a bit more than a line from a miniseries that is kinda of abandoned right now, but I certainly hope to find the will to finish it, because I was having a lot of fun writing it. That piece of dialogue I particularly like because it is funny and shows a bit of the dynamics between Elizabeth and Hamid in this AU.
“But I’m considering a different approach. Think of Regency or Victorian romances perhaps.”
“Longing stares from across the room might not work well presently... So are we talking duel or elopement?”
“Duel,” she whispers, "Most definitely. Much more exciting. It’d definitely be a hit.”

Secret–OC Kiss Week 2020
This is my newest WIP, which is a Magical Realism Romance set in the Regency period. This was written for Day 5 of @ockissweek.
Margaret sat down heavily on the fallen log, wincing as the movement jostled her injuries.
Charles rustled through his pack, pulling out bandages and his canteen along with a clean shirt.
She waved him off tiredly as he began to fuss over her. “I am fine, I can do it,” she said, wincing again when he wet a corner of the shirt and pressed it to the wound on her arm.
He shot her a disbelieving look. “What kind of husband would I be if I did not care for my wife?” he asked, gingerly cleaning the wound.
Margaret let out a pained laugh. “A normal kind, I should think.”
“Well, that is certainly not the kind of husband I want to be,” he said quietly.
“No, you are not,” she said, her voice low as she watched him bind her arm in bandages.
“I’m sorry you were hurt because of me,” Charles said softly after a moment of silence. “Maybe I should not have come.”
She shook her head. “If you had not come I would not be here either.”
“We could have figured out a way,” he said, exhaustion seeping into his tone. “I am just causing you problems.”
“Please do not think that,” she said, ignoring the pain in her arm as she brought her hand up to cup his cheek. “I have loved having you as my traveling companion.”
The other title she could have used, husband, hung heavy between them. She let her hand fall gently to her side.
He moved to the wound on her leg, visible through a wide tear in her trousers, his eyes focused on his task. “Even when you end up injured protecting me?”
“Even then,” she said. “I will always protect you.”
“That’s what worries me,” he said, looking up to meet her eyes.
“What kind of wife would I be if I let you get hurt?”
“You are extraordinary, wife or otherwise,” he breathed out, reaching for her uninjured arm and pressing a fervent kiss to her palm.
Margaret’s eyes fell closed at the contact, which felt like a benediction. What was it about Charles that brought out such feelings in her? Such confusing desperate feelings? When he had been the target of that monster, all it had taken was a second’s thought before she had stood between him and the beast, despite feeling like her heart was in her throat. Not at the prospect of fighting, but at the idea of him being hurt. Or worse.
He pulled his mouth back from her palm, but kept her hand in his.
She opened her eyes. “Charles–”
A roar sounded in the distance, both of them looking in concern in that direction.
Margaret shook her head. There would be time for feelings later. “We should be going.”

He's always kept a joyful air about him, though. Until now. Now he's stuck loving Lady Merchant, a person he has no right to love. Not only is she the daughter of an Earl and he himself is an untitled man, but she is also already promised to someone else. His happy life has been dashed, so he can only hope to make sure she keeps smiling…
Lady Elizabeth Merchant suffered through the death of her true love, Thomas Ellis, when her father found out about her plans to elope with the valet. Now, two years later, she keeps herself busy by breaking hearts and every rule of precedence put before her. She is saved from her despair when her beloved Thomas suddenly reappears, bearing a terrifying tale. She always knew she would be happy with him, but even as she comes to be reacquainted with Thomas, she can't help but wonder why he doesn't make her heart beat as fast as the untitled teacher down the street…

↳ Edmund Howe: A kindly and optimistic young man, who prefers a simple and uneventful life. He likes to read, teach, and learn. Unfortunately, he has a meddlesome boss who drags him to a ball where he meets Lady Merchant and falls for her almost immediately. He tries to distance himself from her to be proper, but the Lady seems determined to become friends.
↳ Elizabeth Merchant: Although selfish and blunt, Elizabeth isn’t truly a cruel person. She’s very unaware of the people around her and their feelings, but she generally strives to be fair to most everyone. Her worst traits have been exemplified in the past couple years since the death of her true love, Thomas. However, when he returns, it’s not him who seems to be encouraging her to be a better person, but Edmund. Because of this, she becomes determined to find out everything about him that she can.
SIDE CHARACTERS:
↳ Thomas Ellis: Elizabeth’s presumed dead true love. They only reunite by accident at a ball. He’s very calm and polite, and now has a title as a Viscount.
↳ Francis Merchant: Elizabeth’s father. An overbearing and unbelievably strict man.
↳ Jane Merchant: Elizabeth’s mother. In contrast to her husband, she’s fairly meek. Her only true love in life seems to be her daughter, whom she struggles to make happy as best she can.
↳ Louise: Elizabeth’s lady-in-waiting and one of the only people she could perhaps call a “friend”.
↳ Lord Seton: Edmund’s boss and headmaster of the school he works at. He is determined to get Edmund to marry a well-off young lady despite Edmund’s insistence that he doesn’t want to wed.
