idea for the “with Markiplier” universe: Stranded with Markiplier

no one asked for this but here it is, inspired by watching recent Raft videos.

it starts in an airport where you get to choose one of multiple flights/intended destinations. then depending on your choice, when the plane invariably crashes you are stranded in one of multiple environments. such as:

• deserted island in the middle of the ocean

• arctic desert

• rainforest

• hot desert

• deciduous forest

you, mark and whoever crashes with you must work together to survive, and not drive each other insane.

I've probably made like 4 actual posts about it by now, but every time I think about my joke CYOA "The People V. Markiplier", I come to more conclusions that it could actually work as a cohesive series. These ideas are just stream of consciousness, I'm very tired and I apologize if I fail to make sense anywhere lol

One option I could see happening is Y/N serving as Mark's defense attorney -- which would work as they were a DA and they're also his bestie. The way to play the series would be to make a good case for Mark -- which, as expected for a With Markiplier series, wouldn't always be made through making logical decisions. Maybe it's different Marks as you go through the routes, and his relationship to you changes how he treats you (and how you decide to treat him)

Another could be that Y/N is a juror, and since time means nothing and they could probably just find their way out of the decision room whenever they feel like it they could just go looking for evidence that proves how they'd want the verdict to go

A third could be Y/N playing the judge themself, and a new layer of complexity is added because they get to deal with the room full of idiots with some authority

Looooooots of references. Bob playing the initial prosecution attorney, since he went to law school. Using stupid jokes like blowing up Detroit for some cake as evidence. Character witnesses from videos you haven't thought of in years. Just dumb and funny and no more angst please Mark I am on my hands and knees ple

Take a special route for an Easter Egg where Dark takes Lawyer Bob's place as the prosecutor, and it plays out with some actual stakes. I wanted to say "plays out authentically", but I have a feeling that you can't have a lawyer with a personal bias against the opposite client (which, btw, don't worry about something as stupid as courtroom etiquette get in the way of a story like this), and I have to make the joke that Dark stole Y/N's job in addition to their body somewhere in the series

But idk, I'm just some schlub who's never watched a full episode of "Law and Order" and got discharged from jury duty. I know very little about courtroom bullshit, but do y'all think it would work? Also feel free to add onto this, I always welcome a bit of brainstorming tennis. ✨️Imagine with me, friends✨️
