The Most Character Ever Tournament!

In this tournament, we will be searching to find the most character. What is the most character? Honestly, no clue.

That will be decided by you.

In this tournament, I challenge you to decide on an adjective and stick with it throughout. For example, say you choose the most skrunkly. With every poll, you will choose which character is the most skrunkly of the options. But someone else might have decided to vote for the most evil characters. And someone else may have chosen the most queer-coded! You don’t have to, of course. I can’t force you. But I’d think it’d be really cool if you all voted for characters for different reasons lol

I will be seeding. I will close submissions at 128 characters. I will accept every character submitted (as long as I’m fine with it and it doesn’t break the rules) before it hits the limit. Each poll will take a week.

Will this end up being a big mess?

Will this take a bit because of how many characters I’m accepting?

This battle is here to determine who the best character named James is! Rules are listed below the link.

Couple rules:

Characters can be shapeshifters through natural born abilities, magical abilities, or other circumstances- as long as they’re regarded as shapeshifters for their ability to change their form you can submit them in!

Okay, since half my dashboard is just various tournaments at this point, I thought I might as well start my own. So now I'm trying to find Tumblr's favourite colour.

This was a very spontaneous decision, so I've not thought this through very well, but if you have a favourite colour, please send me the hex code in an ask (the addition of a colour name is optional).

If no one submits anything, let's just pretend I never made this post. I'll probably sneak some personal favourites in and/or ask my friends for suggestions, but that depends on how interested people are.

Hellooooo Tumblr this is a tournament for girls in love!!! Girls who are madly in love! Girls who have a huge crush!!

If you’re wondering what the guidelines are for a character to be considered a girl in love, they are relatively simple

A girl in love must first and foremost be madly in love with another character (usually a man but not always). Now we’re not just talking a simple crush, no, this girl has to be head over heels falling down stairs rib breaking in love. Essentially, it has to be a major part of her character.

So without further ado here’s our submission rules!

Character must canonically have a crush, sorry but I’m not taking anything implied as that isn’t true “girl in love” nature. It has to be stated in canon and also be very obvious

Furthermore, it has to be a large part of their character. A character mentioning they have a crush and being shy and secretive about it doesn’t count. They need to be confessing their love with hearts in their eyes

Girls obsessed with the idea of love or are hopeless romantics also count! It just has to be a large part of their character.

This should be a given but they also have to be girls. Sorry boys this is a girls only competition.

And that should be all! Submissions will be open for 5 days!

THEE Official* TTRPG NPC Bracket!

Every TTRPG party has That One NPC that they’ve latched onto.  It might be an NPC who’s become a member of the party.  It might be a god.  Maybe it’s your wizard’s familiar.  It’s probably that one shopkeeper from that one town with the craziest voice you’ve ever heard come out of the DM’s (or if you’re the DM, your own) mouth.

This bracket is designed to celebrate those NPCs!  Tell the world about why they’re so special to you and your party.  You’ll learn about all the wildest, most wholesome, most villainous, silliest, and everything in-between NPCs out there, and be able to cheer yours along in a Tumblr-typical bracket-style tournament.

All the guidelines for your propaganda can be found on the submission form here!  I have it set so your personal information will not be recorded.  Please only submit NPCs through the submission form so that I can ensure that I have them all and Tumblr didn’t eat any of them.  

EDIT: Submissions will be open through midnight, EST, on 7/5/23 (previously 7/2/23)!  Please spread the word so we can celebrate as many beloved NPCs as possible!

An example of submitted propaganda may read something like:

What makes them the best: She’s incredible at her job and on top of all her shit, but she’s also deeply a gossip and here for a good time.  She’s not gonna reveal state secrets but she will give you some dirt if she likes you.  Caffeinated to all hell.  She’s less than a foot tall because she’s a pixie but she has the personality and voice to fill a room.  The vibes and energy of a New Jersey mother of four who’s lived in town for thirty years and is not about to let Big PTA get one over on the new kindergarten parents.  Would probably smoke with you if you asked, but not during work hours.  Has at least two exactly identical desks.

Quote: “Listen hon, come back in an hour.  There’s a great coffee place, you go two blocks straight out the door and hang a left.  Have some coffee ‘cause it’s to die for, I don’t know what they do to their dark roast but it’s incredible, then come on back and I’ll get you in there with her.”

The inspiration for this bracket came from @wizardbracket which was very fun!

Edit: there was another blog that was originally an inspiration for this bracket the mystery character bracket op is a wild transphobe so I’m not touching that with a ten foot pole lol. That shit will not be tolerated here and you don’t have to come tell me about it because lord knows they’ve been rather direct about it in their recent posts.
