Every year on Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) I post this poweful song written by a Jewish American rapper named Remedy of the Wu-Tang Clan from 2000.
His grandfather and grandmother are Holocaust survivors, and his great uncle was shot in the back by Nazis. Other members of his family were murdered in the concentration camps, so he wrote this very powerful song.
I created this video with the English lyrics embedded. Best viewed in full screen.
Never Again!
*Remedy (born Ross Filler, a.k.a. Reuven Ben Menachem, November 4, 1972 in Staten Island, New York) is an American rapper and hip-hop producer. He is known for being the first non-black and the first Jewish rapper to be affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan.
