i think the thing about jason mcconnell for me is that i don't think he has to be likeable. of course i wish more people liked him, or at least hated him correctly, but jason does not have to be likeable. likeability should not, and does not, change the fact that jason's death was an un/avoidable tragedy. it is aspiring to be as likeable as possible that led to his death, and that lead to the actions and words jason says that make him unlikeable and unrelatable to most people today, and in general is the main problem for many characters. to argue that jason should be more likeable is to miss the point, to me.

Also ik a lot of rtc fans might be new to tumblr seeing as ive noticed a large majority are on the younger side, so here's a reminder: reblogs > likes! Likes are great, but they don't help spread content around. Unlike on places like Twitter, people don't see things you've liked on their dash, only things you've reblogged. So liking something is more of a way of bookmarking, at least for me. Reblogs actually help spread content and get it more attention! This is especially important to artists and writers, who are less likely to be reblogged. Tumblr is first and foremost a blogging website, the rb button is ur bread and butter, pls show artists and writers ur love by reblogging them, it goes a long way ^-^

i feel like if you're a blog dedicated to criticizing fandom racism you shouldn't try to justify and belittle common (and valid) criticisms people have about the source material itself. it's not going to magically become more inclusive or better well-written just because another similarish media.......is also bad? like. i could write a 5+ page essay on how sm alone is propaganda for many more reasons, much less how the whole m/cu is propaganda. it's kind of obvious. and to imply that it's a "fetish for the poor" to care about the insidious erasure of peter being poor when it has always been part of his character... he doesn't "get help from a billionaire sometimes." tony's not helping to pay for his rent or tuition or what the fuck ever. maybe i'm fucking crazy but getting a weapons system is a lot more than getting help from a billionaire sometimes. that's not even why the m/cu is propaganda. there are many other better arguments for why it is. strawman ass post with a rebuttal that betrays you bc it shows you don't have any real argument that what you're "refuting" is right. but sure. there's a bigger and more insidious problem in some other superhero media so this one doesn't matter. fuuuck ooofffff

man playing a dragon age game as an abomination would rock so tremendously tho. you're a possessed person and you have to play as two characters making up one person and balance it out so one half of the equation doesn't swallow the other half. maybe you could choose what kind of spirit at the beginning of the game and it would count as your class basically. In movie Howl's Moving Castle, Markl seems to be Howl's assistant, or his student/ward, and Michael in the book is mostly Howl's advisee, and unfortunate secretary. He gets to use Howl's magic/science equipment, and he gets room and board, and in exchange, he has to be the first person all those angry aunts see after Howl breaks their nieces' heart

bc like while labru is more compelling to me if it's yuri one of the reasons why i'm keeping farcille also yuri is because. well. to me they're gonna lose something if it's yaoi sorry. also i'm more interested in girl laios and falin's relationship if they're sisters than if they're a sister and a little brother in that it will highlight further that laios has no avenue to leave their hometown. i think it would be interesting for girl laios to learn she can do magic and then wonder what could've been if she knew she could. and also because i don't want to fall into the trap of like... they're still originally guy characters. yk? it doesn't magically stop ignoring the female characters who are there if you genderbend/transgendify the guys to focus on them instead.
