☆ .* note ─ this is a prolouge for the story I'm working rn, it's a tgaa story a yandere barok and yandere herlock x reader story!! I've been reading the og Sherlock book so I can put some refrences!! Hope you like this prolouge and you can give me your thoughts about this story!! My mutual actually proofread this and shes actually helping me so props to her @lovetals ! :3 ♡

A small clanking sound, heard only outside the garden where the owner of the house was walking around her small garden holding a small basket, only halfway filled with white and yellow chrysanthemum flowers, each one of them looks fresh after yesterday's rain droplet hits the pedals making them glaze like a refine glass. 

The woman still walking around her small garden suddenly stood still at an Indigoletta rose before her. She planted this rose ten years prior and still to this day she still always manages to take such delicate care of the rose. But no matter how gorgeous the rose she only brushed her fingertips to the glistening petals and her eyes full of longing when she touched it. Feeling that her staring will do nothing, her fingertips went back to her batch of flowers then back to what she was doing.

The woman looked at the baskets and noticed that it seemed odd. Like something was missing, she couldn't understand it, she has been doing this many times and why does she only feel this kind of strangeness, like she forgot something but not knowing what it is she can’t figure it out herself. Before the woman could succumb to her thoughts she heard a knock at her door. 

With a quick movement and a slight sigh, she put away the chrysanthemums and walked into her living room to see who could be at the door.

 Opening the door she found the tan skin, looped hair and pink wearing jōgakusei girl-her unofficial apprentice - Mikotoba Susato. The girl smiled brightly at the sight of her tutor and gave a small but respectful bow as a greeting.

 “Good afternoon, Professor.” said the young woman with a gentle smile on her face. The tall woman nodded. “Good afternoon, Mikotoba. What brings you here today? I'm pretty sure that our next turtoring shall be next week and I'm also sure that you're going to be the last person who gets dates wrong, so what is it?"

  With a soft giggle the young girl shook her head. “No, no, I am not here for another toturing. And I am definitely did not forget the date, but I came here because…” She paused and took some papers from her school bag, handing them over to her tutor. “Father wants me to give you this papers, it's legal papers for me to be recognised as a judicial assistant in the eyes of British law." She said while her toture receive the papers while looking with a mild dejected face. "They're still hanging to it huh?" said the woman who just sighed while she adjusted the papers to the nearby table.

"And also," the woman now perked "Kazuma-sama wanted your presence in our state after dinner, to be precise 7:40 pm sharp, he'll be waiting in his room he said, by the look at his face I feel like it's very serious so I guarantee that you may come and seek him." the girl said while the other woman listened intently. 

The woman can only look at the girl and nod to her "Certainly, I wouldn't mind. If it's that important then I'll surely come over and talk to him." The young girl noticing the banjo clock behind the woman hitting an exact 8:50 am said, "Now then I think it's my que to leave, you do need time to read and sign all the papers," the girl said seemingly "So I'll be off and don't worry I'll be telling Kazuma-sama. Thank you!'' The young Mikotoba can give her a sweet smile and a small bow. 

The woman nodded as a reply and waved goodbye to her before closing the door. She sighed again and put the papers on the table before heading to the bathroom to freshen up a bit. As the door closed behind her the young upcoming judicial assistant glanced at the door with the name of her female proffesor and looked at it with some sort of determination.

'I know that you'll find the courage to step foot on that place again,'

► (Y/N)s' House is half English half Japanese architecture and the outside is a small traditional Japanese garden with a lot of European flowers blooming. She gives them to kids and neighbours whenever she sees them or anyone gazing upon them.

► Despite the sakura theme jōgakusei that Susato is always wearing, her favourite flowers are actually Magnolias and Gladiolus. Because those are flowers that remind her of you during your youth based on the stories you've told.

Hi! Can I get some headcanons for yandere Van Zieks and Kazuma dealing with a darling who's ignoring them or being as apathetic towards them as possible

Sure thing anon!! I'll tell you I was a little stumped with this one for a while, its definitely hard to write about such an uncooperative S/O, but I really enjoyed the challenge and while I definitely didn't lose my wick as much as Van Zieks and Kazuma would have, I was getting there 😂😂

Also I didn't know if you wanted me to write for DGS 1 Kazuma or DGS 2 Kazuma because I feel like he has a lot of character development, so I'll write for DGS 1 Kazuma

🍷The idea of S/O ignoring him is a sure-fire way to test his patience and if S/O thinks that complete apathy would somehow make him change his mind and let them go, they are sorely mistaken.

🍷He understands that there has to be some kind of “settling in” period, but no matter how hard he tries, he cannot understand why S/O has resorted to such immature behaviour.

🍷At first, he might just think that S/O is just a little quiet. He’s sympathetic to the fact that it’ll take a little time for them to get situated.

🍷He would try to converse with them, to make them feel more comfortable around him. He’d discuss the estate, his childhood, his feelings, and of course he would be quick to bounce questions in relation to S/O too.

🍷But when S/O blatantly ignores his attempts at conversation, that’s when he starts to feel a little frustrated.

🍷It seems that no matter how hard he tries to play nice, S/O isn’t going along with it so he eventually resorts to scare tactics in order to create any kind of response.

🍷Barok truly loses all dignity during these attempts. He’d burst into S/O’s room in the foulest of moods, ranting and raving directly at them as he searches for any kind of reaction, in these moments of desperation he would rather invoke fear within S/O, just so he can get any sort of ledge in.

🍷Much to his disappointment, S/O would just continue to give him the same blank stare and neutral expression and it would only feed his fury further.

🍷He’d give up eventually, trying to scrape together any remainder of his dignity and self-respect, only to then (in his eyes), completely emasculate himself before S/O.

🍷He begs S/O to talk to him, to give him any sign that they are even listening to what he’s saying.

“My lamb…Please, I beg you. Could you not give me any kind of recognition? I am truly trying my hardest to maintain your favour.”

⚔Kazuma Asogi⚔

⚔While Kazuma isn’t too happy with this outcome, he definitely handles it a little better than Van Zieks would. 

⚔He feels a strong sense of duty to protect S/O, whether or not S/O wants to talk to him or acknowledge his existence won’t change this fact.

⚔Of course, he would far prefer to have S/O’s favour, especially if they are also a member of the Imperial Yumei University. 

⚔He would ask S/O why they ignore him, if he has done something to offend them then he would do his utmost best to earn their forgiveness. However, when S/O’s response to his line of questioning is to pick up the pace and leave him in the dust, he’s going to panic.

⚔Chances are, S/O is trying to ignore him because of the rumours they’ve heard about the fights that he has with other people to defend their dignity.

⚔If things don’t get any better, Kazuma might enlist the help of his dear friend, Ryunosuke to find out why they aren’t too keen on him. 

⚔After learning about S/O’s reasoning, he would be far more careful and calculated in his attempts of “protection”. 

⚔The rumours of his fighting would be quickly overshadowed by his accomplishments, he is still an exemplary student afterall.

⚔Only time will tell as to when S/O will eventually forget about the rumours they’ve heard and begin to speak to him once more, and if all else fails he would definitely not be above pulling some strings to have S/O be invited to travel to London with him.

For the first time in months, you thank your luck, as you wander through the halls of Van Zieks manor unsupervised. No eyes followed you as you strode through the  manor with confidence. You’re sure that the house staff is far more occupied with the fire that is roaring in your bedroom currently than you making your way to the front door. 

It was easily unlockable, and with no sound at all you slip through the door, into the world. 

The first breath of fresh air hurts your lungs, the second aches, and the third makes you cry a little bit. But there were no time for tears, now, you needed to get away from this accursed house.  

Several blocks traveled by you in a blur before you realized, you have no plan whatsoever now. Who could you go to? Who would believe you, that the famous prosecutor pressured you into a one sided relationship for months then secluded you to his manor in the city? Who would dare help you in face of the Reaper’s wrath? 

All who opposed Barok, hated him enough to help you out of spite were all criminals locked away; even his enemy in the courtroom has far too much respect and familiarity; he has a brutally loyal apprentice for christ’s sake. And it’s not like Barok would welcome you back with open arms now, you set his house on fire. 

Before the dread settled in in its entirety, you duck into the nearest alley way; determined to come up with a plan to officially be free of your captor.

“... Treasure, what in hallowed name are you doing here?”

You curse your luck once more.

Headcanons (Surrogate Obsession)

You were taken aback by how angry Barok was on your behalf when he discovered that your previous partner had left you. In fact, you were still reeling from the relationship having come to an end...

After all, you'd thought they were the one for you –– and that's why you were carrying their child. For it to then fall apart around you was the last thing you wanted (or needed).

"That wretch," Barok hissed as he seethed over the fact that they had stolen you from him and then had the gall to toss you aside. Still, he resolved that he would be the one to pick up the pieces and love you like you ought to have been.

"It's alright, Barok, really," you said weakly, not sure for whose benefit you were saying that; because if it was for your own, then you were doubtful. Was it alright? How could it be when it hurt like this? You weren't sure you'd ever get over the pain.

To see you so forlorn was like a dagger to Barok's heart. He's always told himself that if you'd met him first then the two of you would have been together, because in his mind you were soulmates. While he was irked that you'd been discarded, it was something of a boon for him.

Now it meant he could make you his without an irksome partner in the way or the complications of having to make such a person disappear...

As the weeks leafed by you felt as though Barok was more present than he'd ever been, not to say that he was inattentive or particularly absent but now you found yourself coming across him far more regularly. You joked that perhaps he was stalking you, to which he simply chuckled.

Part of you wondered just how low you must have sunk for Barok van Zieks to be taking pity on you... yet it seemed more genuine than that (not to mention he rarely spared people's feelings at the best of times). It almost felt like he was trying to become a part of your life. Yet that would be inappropriate; you were his judicial assistant, after all. It would be unprofessional, and that wasn't like Barok at all. Plus after all you'd been through, you weren't sure that you were ready for another relationship. For now the most important thing was to focus on yourself and the little life that was growing inside you.

Barok grew increasingly frustrated by your lack of response to his advances. They were subtle, yes, but far from non-existent. How it gnawed at him to know you were out there each evening, without him.

Such feelings of yearning and frustration continued to fester inside him –– until the day he decided action needed to be taken...

You'd had a bad feeling all day, and not just from morning sickness. It might have sounded ridiculous to an observer, but it felt like something was in the air. A heaviness and the strangest feeling that you were being watched. Of course you told yourself that was nonsense, but it persisted until you were finally back in the sanctuary of your home.

As you rested your head on the smooth door and locked it, a feeling of relief filled you; nothing bad had happened. Whatever that feeling had been, it was irrational–– or that's what you told yourself, until you turned around and came face-to-face with Barok.

"L-Lord van Zieks," his name come out of you as a squeak, heart thundering in your chest, "W-What ... what are you doing here? More to the point.. how did you get in here?" the unsettled feeling instantly came back like a punch that winded you; your mind a whirl with questions and the sinking feeling that something was terribly wrong.

He held up a key, "I had a copy taken, after all, I need to be able to come home to check on you don't I?

"Check on me...? You... had a copy taken of my key?! What on earth is the meaning of this?" there was something in his eyes that spoke of intense feelings that made you shudder; of longing and want that was beyond anything you'd seen in another's eyes – a kind of yearning that terrified you.

"Well... we are meant to be together, obviously," Barok said as if it were the most ordinary notion, "Sadly you seem to have been oblivious to my advances but it's all okay now, my beloved, I'm going to be here with you every step of the way. I shall love you the way you were meant to be and you'll understand that I was always the one you were meant to be with."

His words left you dumbfounded and at a loss as to what to do –– should you run? But where to? You had nowhere else in this city to go, and Barok probably knew that; it was probably the precise reason why he'd gone to the lengths of copying your key.

"Barok..." you whispered, heart thundering in your chest as he walked slowly toward you; causing you to back up, until the door was pressing against you. He closed the gap completely, "Please... stop and think about this... you're not well... this isn't healthy..." only fragments spilled from your lips, a coherent thought was beyond you in that moment.

"Hush," he whispered, cupping your cheek and thumbing before pressing his lips to yours and swallowing you sobs. You were his now. He'd make sure of it...

I'm writing shorts drabbles as of rn bc I literally forgot how to write/ the persona of characters, so these kinda drabble are like a work out, so I'm really sorry if this is bad/off characters and sorry of a lot of these were super rushed I just couldn't think of an ending(〃＞＿＜;〃) also I'm trying a lot of aesthetic as of right now

[♡]ー ꒱・！the uptight young lawyer - RYUNOSUKE NARUHODO.

A stuttering, blushing mess was the boy; Ryunosuke Naruhodo when you accepted his love confession. He was not intense unlike a certain best friend of his when showing his affections towards you, he's sweet and charming in his own ways making sure that he's doing everything in his power to be the best lover to his beloved.

He's quite suffocating with his affections but you can live with that you think. He was in your opinion the best lover you ever had until you started noticing that a lot of your friends were drifting away from you ever since you started dating Ryunosuke, you tried your best not to think deeply about it but then you noticed the guy who used to flirt with you at campus started avoiding you like a plague, and then like a courtroom evidence started stacking off. Remember that one friend who warned you about Ryunosuke? Yea, they were now in prison for a crime. You really wanted to talk about it to Ryunosuke but all he's giving you was murky answers. Before you wanted to ask for more questions, he opposed a question,

"Do you not love me? If you do, then why are you doubting me (Y/n)?"

Ryunosuke isn't powerful or courageous but he does know his ways on words.

[♡]ー ꒱・！the sharp tongue samurai - KAZUMA ASOUGI.

My, it seems like you caught the eye of the composed, yet hot-blooded Kazuma Asougi. Him being determined to claim your heart by courting you, you felt super flattered. It's not like everyday you'll see anyone declare their intention of courting someone in front of a whole crowd and better yet someone as handsome and diligent as Kazuma. 

Everyday he'll pick you up at your estate, maybe even trying to woo your parents into thinking he's a perfect partner for their child. While your relationship with Iris was wholesome, she'd make some of the most delicious sweets you have ever tasted, and whenever both of you have remaining time you help her bake or cook dinner It truly a heartwarming bonding with her. Or maybe there are days when you and Iris are playing with each other she might be a genius but she is still a little girl. Barok knew what he was feeling wasn't normal and he was guilty for it. But he just couldn't resist you. The last straw was when he got injured when protecting you from a gunshot, probably the person was tied to the case and didn't want anyone finding out, besides the point. He woke up with you beside him with eyes with care and concern only for him. He hates you for him making feel greedy. He hates how much he yearns for you. He also hates himself that his heart is so weak for a person that everyone and anyone could love. You're so nice, kind, caring, understanding, selfless and so strong, that he can barely stand seeing you with another man when you've just started going out with even if it's just your legal companion.

Hello, may I request Barok with s/o after he's had them kidnapped?

You didn’t specify a scenario or headcanons so I’m just going to go with headcanons!

I’m answering these out of order but I just wanna dip my toes in the water first but I’ll try and get back into chronological order based on when the request was made ASAP.

🍷Kidnapping Headcanons: Barok van Zieks🍷

🍷I’ve mentioned this in my original yandere headcanons, but Barok wouldn’t kidnap S/O himself. He would use some shadier contacts and hire two thugs to break into their home and kidnap them. 

🍷He would emphasise that no harm was to come to S/O, in fact he would far prefer for S/O to be taken without a fight. He places a lot of trust in the people he hires to do this job, but if S/O was delivered to him with a single hair out of place then he would make sure that they didn’t escape without consequence.

🍷Barok would stay in the room that he places S/O into until they wake up. He’d keep a solemn watch over them while they slept, he would have already ordered his staff to keep away from the room.

🍷Only he gets to indulge in this moment, after all.

🍷When S/O wakes up, he takes a patient and logical approach to his explanation for the circumstances that they are in. It would be more than obvious to S/O that Barok had been behind the countless letters that they had been receiving.

🍷Naturally, S/O would find themselves in a blind panic, especially once they realise that they have been tied to the bed they’re in with some rather sturdy leather belts. While Barok promised that they would be free to roam around the room once they calmed down, it would not ease S/O’s furious response to his actions.

🍷While he would most certainly be frustrated by S/O’s initial panic once they realised that they weren’t able to leave, he wouldn’t be surprised. As much as he despises the fact that S/O isn’t grateful for the fact that he saved them from the immorality and cruelty of society, he knows that they must be in shock from it all.

🍷Obviously, this all depends on how you imagine S/O, but there would definitely be a big communication issue right from the start. S/O wouldn’t want anything to do with Barok, while Barok would want to spend all the free time he has away from his work with S/O.

🍷Barok wouldn’t really try to fully understand or empathise with S/O’s feelings, he sees them as immature and hysterical. Instead, he would stick his heels in and persist with his own fantasy as S/O’s provider.

🍷It would take a long time of persistent pushing on S/O’s part for Barok to externalise his frustrations, as a member of the nobility he knows how to save face and keep his true feelings pushed deep down, but if S/O struck him where it hurts then he would really lose his temper and S/O could expect to find themself having to dodge a bottle of wine that he’d throw towards the wall behind them.
