Notes:

Very good capture of Nat as Barbara! some shakiness throughout but not too bad. some washout is seen throughout but nothing enough to take away from the video. Nat is absolutely fantastic as Barbara and she proves to be the absolute best and most underrated cast member. Also has Will Blum as Otho, but only as Otho. Eric Anthony Johnson plays all the ensemble parts Will should be playing for the Otho track. This causes some issues in songs with big ensemble parts such as beautiful sound and the reprise where a clone is missing. Overall a fantastic capture of a 'new' Barbara u/s.

Fantastic capture of Wicked. a head blocks some action in the bottom right at times but I work around it so not much is missed. Washout is inevitable on Elphaba in some scenes like defying gravity, unfortunately. Yando was a great Boq and was very adorable in the role. Talia and Brittney slay the house down together where I get goosebumps throughout.

Lando - well, younger Lando. Yando? - stared at Lando - older Lando, anyway; just Lando. Lando looked back, feeling surprisingly calm. Carlos was away, thank god. He didn’t want to explain any of this to him. More importantly, he didn’t want Yando freaking out at seeing an older, extremely hot Carlos. That might screw with the space-time continuum. Or whatever. Lando’d never watched Doctor Who.

“So…you’re…married?” Yando said, gesturing to Lando’s wedding band.

Lando nodded gravely. “Yeah. It’s been, like, four months. Over that.”

“But you’re…22? That’s literally, like, ten years from now. Oh, my days.”

“Yeah, well,” Lando said with a little shrug, “when it’s the right guy, you don’t really question it.”

“The right guy- am I gay?”

“Dunno. Maybe? You like men. Mostly, you like Carlos.”

“Carlos-”

Oh, bugger. Should Lando have mentioned that? Yando’s eyes were as big as planets; Lando could see his brain process what he had just said.

Well. In for a penny. Or whatever.

“Carlos Sainz,” Lando said, patiently. Yando squeaked. Lando grinned; cute kid, actually.

“C-Carlos. Sainz? The- the- racer?”

Lando nodded again, unable to keep the proud smile from his face. “Yeah. The one you’ve been tweeting at. Sorry he never replied, by the way. It’s fine though. Love at first sight. For him, I mean. We were way cooler about it.”

“He- how?”

“Teammates at McLaren,” Lando said. Then he gestured towards twin photos on the wall, framed proudly: Lando and Carlos together; Carlos holding a trophy in one, Lando in the other, both beaming for themselves, for one another. Yando stared.

“He’s- touching me. You. Us.”

“Does a lot more than just touch,” Lando murmured. Then he gulped as Yando stared at him. Aw, man, he didn’t want to be responsible for his own brain death. “A-anyway, he wanted to propose but I jumped the gun and did it first.”

“You proposed to him?” Yando squawked. “And he said-”

“He cried,” Lando said proudly. Yando stared at him, and Lando laughed. “I’m telling you. He’s absolute fu- head over heels for you the second he actually meets you.”

Yando stared at Lando, then at the pictures of Lando and Carlos on the walls, then at his own hands. Then, he looked at Lando and asked, “Are you still teammates?”

“Nah. I’m still at McLaren. Carlos moved to Ferrari.”

Yando considered that, then nodded sagely. “That makes sense.”

Did it? Lando considered it, then shrugged and nodded. “Yeah. Guess so.”

More silence. Yando seemed to be thinking quite hard. Then, quietly, Yando asked, “…have you won a race yet?”

Ah. Lando thought about how best to answer that question. Then he took a deep breath and said, honestly, “Not yet. P2. But…it’s going to happen. I know it.”

Yando looked crestfallen but only for a second. Then, quite sweetly, he patted Lando’s shoulder and said, “I know it too. Maybe Carlos will be there too, yeah?”

Lando grinned. “I know he will.”
