I agree with you 100%! I run a yandere blog and I've been in plenty of abusive relationships. I like to use this blog to roleplay honestly, I've never done any of the typical yandere things when I was in a relationship. I treated them good, never stalked them or get super jealous but they was abusive to me. People treat us like we can't separate fiction/roleplay from reality when a good majority of us can.

Yeah exactly like. A lot of us relate to yandere characters and stuff bc the the jealousy but we also KNOW murder isn't okay like obviously that's just?????? A basic fact of life?????? Even when I used to make a lot of Yan posts I'd tag anything like "yeah murder" as #character post for that reason

When shit like the Yu/ka Takaoka situation was going on I met very very few yanderes (cough yanvent cough) who defended her in that situation because she's genuinely a terrible person and the only ppl endorsing that were fetishists

Which is like another thing ppl seem to think fetishists' (which are another problem we face but clearly we're the abusive ones) idea of yanderes is the truth when it rlly doesn't work that way we're just a bunch of ppl with either trauma or mental illness or whatever trying to cope and ppl can't handle mentally ill ppl acting in a way they don't like.
