I typed out a giant thread on Twitter about why I think it's baffling that being a Twiyor can get you funny looks in the Spy x Family fandom, that Nightfall could ever be a likeable character, topped off with how much I hate her. I would bring that over here as well, but honestly, I don't want to. If you wanna read the thread, it's on Twitter.

As for this post, I'd rather talk about something that makes me happy, like Twiyor twins!

Yes, I'm finally talking about them like I said I would. I mean, I feel like I don't have much to say about them, but let's see what spills out of my brain lmao.

First, their names. I'm probably being unoriginal, but I headcanon the Twiyor twins' names being Rose and James. Other fans have had this idea for their kids too, so that just proves how perfect they are. Rose is obvious because of Yor being Thorn Princess. As for James, it goes back to what I said in a previous post about all the James Bond references in Spy x Family, including it possibly being Twilight's real name. Well, I think James would be a better name for their son than Twilight himself (though I do like the idea of James being Twilight's middle name, meaning his full name according to yours truly would be Lukas James Rosenfeld; see my post about Twilight's name for my reasons behind Lukas and Rosenfeld if you haven't already).

Oh, and if you didn't pick up on it yet, I also headcanon Rose being the first born twin. Most fans that headcanon Twiyor having twins usually have the son born before the daughter. But here's me simply going "But what if the daughter was born first instead?" It may also tie in to a relatively popular headcanon among Twiyors that Twilight is very much a daughter's father, or something along those lines.

And maybe as they grow up, they can go by nicknames Rosie and Jimmy 🤔

As for their genetics, I'm kinda torn. I've seen fan artists draw Twiyor twins as blonde and red-eyed for the daughter, and black-haired and blue-eyed for the son. That's a neat idea, but what if it was the reverse? That's just an idea, though. I'm not exactly sure on how I picture them looking just yet 💀

Regarding Big Sister Anya: personally, she would just love having younger siblings no matter what. I've seen some fans interpret Anya wanting a sister, others interpret her wanting a brother, so here's me in the middle once again being like "She would love both!" She would just be happy that their family is growing, and she would make it her mission to be the best big sister in the world.

Finally, I've seen a few fans write Twiyor baby fics where they would have lots of children, both bio and adopted, because they would be great parents and would happily foster more children if it meant less lonely, parentless children in the world. That's a really sweet idea, but personally, I feel like Anya and the twins would be enough for them. Even if they eventually moved into a bigger house for them all to live comfortably in, they would be content with having three children and a dog 🥰

(Oh, and speaking of them moving into a house, I did try playing a Sims 4 household with the Forgers, and I just had them live in a Sim made version of the house from Mr. & Mrs. Smith because that movie walked so Spy x Family could run 😂 Plus, it's a perfect size for them, especially if they did have twins)

also looking close at the sheet music glimpse, i noted when i went "kiss me what?" and looked up the lyrics and it gave me that of those of a doris day rendition, that version apparently goes "down in lover's lane my dearie" instead of "lover's lane with you" despite that the latter creates a rhyme, and we do see the [my] rather than the [with] in the lyrics

the doris day version is a whole different arrangement certainly, and more downtempo

another thing that might suggest its arrangement, besides just its lyrics, being that that's three beats per measure in the sheet music, the doris day version sure is a waltz, and idk what time signature the kay starr version has but it's not 3/4....played out orville's line on a virtual keyboard too, definite harmonizing going on. now imagining it could go from this downtempo waltz and swing up into the kay starr version like whoa we gotta ease orv into this and he's never heard a song above 50 bpm in his life

So I watched the Owl House finale Watching and Dreaming and it was perfect

It was the beautiful ending that this show deserved and a satisfying send off for all these amazing characters. Perfectly wrapped up the themes of the show, of loving yourself, of wanting to be understood, and finding people who accept you for who you are. Dana and the Owl crew managed to create a special show that really pushed a lot of boundaries and told a story that a lot of people were able to really connect with, including myself. I have a lot to say about this finale but I have to find the words. All I'll say for now is that they really stuck the landing and I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

Thank you the Owl House and thank you Dana Terrace. This really ended up being something special.

i’m so fucking done y’all i HATE loving books whilst being audhd cause here’s what the majority of my reading sessions go like: - hyperfocus. i finish a book the width of my arm in a single night and end up collapsing in class the next day because i got no sleep

- chill reading, until The Sound comes in. The Sound could be a person, a youtube video someone else is watching, an outside noise, an ad in the middle of my music and so on. after The Sound appears all focus is lost and the reading session is ruined - desperately trying to read but nothing is right. there is a bright or cool toned light, a sound or a lack of sound, my clothes are weird, there is no sitting position that is right, there is a weird taste in my mouth and my eyes are slowly dying. my brain is racing and making too much internal noise and i simply cannot focus for the life of me. at all. not even for a sentence. often, this happens suddenly in the middle of a previously good reading session and my brain turns off at this point - brain is too slow to read and would rather disassociate. sometimes you even get bonus trauma flashbacks or embarrassment flashbacks as a treat !! - brain is too fast and excited meaning my eyes skip entire paragraphs and i miss very important pieces of information, making me slow my roll and go back and read the boring monologue of text before the Exciting Part

AND THE DIFFICULTY OF READING VARIES WITH THE TYPE OF BOOK TOO. for example, if it’s a modern book/written recently (meaning from 1970s - present day) it is more common to enter a hyperfocus reading session than the other types. if it’s a classic or older book with slightly different writing styles, it is impossible to have a hyperfocus session because now my brain must analyse the words and stop to look up new words.

the worst thing about this ? i LOVE classics. i love all the fancy words and the different sentence structures and the vivid descriptions that the authors poured their heart and souls into. i love the characters and the unique influences on their personalities that come from being written in a different time. i adore analysing meanings and picking apart phrases and words and characters and plots. but i cannot ever focus on it for more than maybe half an hour or an hour, reading painstakingly slowly for my standards and taking all the immersion out of the reading experience because i have to stop to process the information, meaning i am me in the real world. i am not in their world, with the characters. and it makes me want to SCREAM.

the worst worst worst part ??? on the extremely rare occasion i do have a good reading session with a classic, i am always, without fail, interrupted by someone talking to me, making me pause my music and immersion for whatever remark they feel they have to make over and over again until i feel like ripping their face off because SCREW YOU I JUST GOT TO ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF LITERATURE WITH ALL THE PRETTY WORDS AND YOU RUIN IT WITH TELLING ME THE BUS ROUTES TO SCHOOL ?? THE SAME BUS ROUTES I TAKE BY MYSELF ALREADY AND HAVE BEEN TAKING FOR AT LEAST FOUR WEEKS BEFOREHAND ???????? SCREW YOU >:(
