#i had the hardest time picking a the 1975 song #cuz i like all the songs a lot but i also dont feel like ive spent long enough with the songs to make a year end list #but i did listen to Happiness a LOT before the album came out so yeah #Picking a song for AM tho was surprisingly easy like i love all the songs on the car but Mr Schwartz is the stand out for me #also i feel like i need to say yes i did learn about Bag Habits from a tiktok video a friend sent me but i have listened to the full song #ive listened to it many times like as i went to listen to it on youtube i was like uh-oh is this a tiktok song?!#unfortunately its the only song of his i listen to so am i really that much better then his mostly silent concert crowds #my top song was soo easy to pick if youve never listened to Sarah Kinsley i highly recommend checking her stuff out #she only has eps and singles out so far but i cannot wait until she releases a full album hopefully next year maybe #i mean i highly recommend checking out all these songs/artist but her the most #Also not to be a Vampire Weekend stan but Ezzy really mad the Phoenix song for me #like him being a part of it was perfection #i wish i could tell 13 year old fledgling indie fan me about this song #my post #ive had this post in my drafts since like mid December but i just havent gotten around to finishing this #i hope no one minds i tagged them #i tagged friends and then the first few mutuals in my activity!!

a little thingy i started for myself because I LOOOVE doing papercrafts as a way to relax and since i really love the way Project Sekai did theirs i took it as a base to customize it to tenrose.... and then I got carried away

also i am posting templates for them and will make all the left nuwho doctors soon, tag me or put a hashtag(that ill probably come up with in the tags, idk check them) if you want to post them:)

Something that kills me is that there’s no way in hell that Raph’s debilitating separation anxiety isn’t infinitely worse after the movie. The trauma of being Krangified like that, all alone, would probably regress him so hard.

Not to mention his worries of getting “weird” would likely get mixed up with his experience while Krangified - aka, he loses full awareness, and when he’s brought “back” it’s to the understanding that he attacked his own family (of course not to his own fault at all, but how much of that does he believe?)

The fear of being alone would take on another layer and become a fear of himself.

the last time I made a post about a character type I really like it went well, so here's another one: I love a character who is a piece of shit loser.

Let me explain: a very specific kind of piece of shit loser. This is a character who is almost never (at least not at first) a major protagonist or a major villain. They might be a mercenary or thief or black-hat hacker or in some other sort of antisocial "bad guy" line of work. They are some sort of henchman, or at least have strong henchman energy: dangerous and/or talented in specific skills perhaps, but also, importantly, undeniably a loser. Their personality sucks. They're uncharismatic and unpleasant. The heroes interact with them only when they must-- and this character deliberately cranks up the cynicism around especially sunny or optimistic heroes. They know the world is a cold, hard place, and the only thing they trust is cold, hard cash (if they're even getting paid for this shit). Things like "hope" and "friendship" are for suckers.

Until... somehow, some incident or confrontation or compounding sequence of events puts a crack in their armor. It's a crack where the light can get in-- and also, alarmingly (to others and to them), shine out. It turns out this piece of shit loser had a little spark of goodness buried deep inside all along, and no matter how much they dig in their heels and insist they don't care, their conscience is steadily pulling them over to the "good" side, and it's winning. And the heroes know it, too: this character might still be a piece of shit loser, but now they're their piece of shit loser, and there's no going back.

honestly never having watched CQL beyond the part where WN gets randomly possessed (???) at Biling Lake is pretty funny because I hear the most random of things about it later. what do you mean there's a conversation between Lan XICHEN and Wei Wuxian where LXC is all "Wei-gongzi pls come back to Gusu so that my didi can chill" in his previous life and Wei Wuxian wipes off Jiang Cheng's tears in the Guanyin Temple. How did the XiYao meeting end up as a sexually charged gift exchange. What do you mean they had Lan Yi and Baoshan Sanren as tragic lesbians. What is a Yin Iron. Why does half the cast know demonic cultivation. Why is Wen Qing getting dramatically threatened to spy in the Cloud Recesses. WHO MADE LAN WANGJI THE CHIEF CULTIVATOR

Just posting this for the ppl who LOVE to push the FANON narrative that Jason and Percy aren't close friends as CANON. Grover is listed as Percy's main best friend (along with Annabeth ofc but she remains in the girlfriend category) and Jason comes literally SECOND in the Official Riordan wiki fanpage, and he's even labelled as "one of percy's best friends" not just "friend" or "close friend" like the others.

I don't get why people deny this SO bad like- pls let the almost nonexistent rivalry they both had (which is mostly between Jason and Percy fans) stay fanon.

"Jason and Percy are just co workers, barely even friends" Yup. Sure. I was so mislead by this narrative before I picked up HOO and was pleasantly surprised by how genuine percy and jason's friendship was in the books.. I half expected them both to ignore eachother or something throughout the scenes with how much the fandom exaggerated their rivalry/coldness with eachother.

Fanon is awesome. But it's not when you push it as canon. Let them be two seperate things please.
