“Oh my love don’t forget me, when i let the water take me...” - Florence and the Machine, What the Water Gave Me My finished piece for “Dreadfully Yours”, the incredible Victorian Gothic, Penny Dreadful-inspired Yuri!! On Ice zine! My piece was inspired by the German folktale “Undine”. This is easily one of my favorite pieces that I’ve done for a zine, and I’m still really proud of it! <3 Sorry it’s taken me so long to share this!

Hello, everyone! :D I'm so happy to finally share with you the illustration I did for Yuri on Ice Dreadful Zine by @yoidreadfulzine For my piece I choose Vampires + Victorian era concept. This drawing was a first in many aspects for me, many lessons learned while working on it. This is the second zine that I participate and it was an honor to work alongside so many talented people! Writers, artists, cosplayers and a super mod team!

Dreadfully Yours YOI zine_update

Hello, an announcement about our sister YOI zine Dreadfully Yours’ account:

The DY zine tumblr profile was deleted by accident by tumblr when one of the mods’ personal accounts tied to it was removed, and some of the other zine blogs linked to it met a similar fate.

The Dreadful zine Twitter account was not affected and will keep functioning normally as social media official channel in the meantime:

The @yoidreadfulzine has gorgeous merchandise. I love all the work that they put into the tarot set.

But also the bookmarks are super gorgeous.

Together with these I got prints, charms, stickers, a button, a pin, a notebook and two zines.

Everything is creepy and has a goth theme. Ghosts, witches and everything

One of the many tarot cards I made for @yoidreadfulzine :D.

Dedicated to Leo De La Iglesia here giving off faint Orpheus vibes in his Page Of Wands role.

The Wands tarot suite is associated among other things to creativity and fire and nature, seemed like a good fit for this warm sunshine music-attuned baby. Even his skating costume palette works well with the symbolism, and it made for a rather serene vibes fusion between the zine theme, his character in the show and the RWS deck tradition.

His namesake lion buddy chilling in the background is a nod to @zen-draws ' Strength Major Arcana tarot :3.
