Can you IMAGINE being 601billionlazer and getting this rip for Secret SiIva 5?? You hear the silly blue balls and go oh, haha what fun, what a great little bit Madinstance, you always outdo yourself so its fun to see you've taken a funny step back here - only for the truth to be revealed and all hell to break loose? You hear the backing change and think, I swear I recognize that, there's no way he actually did it - the banjo comes in with a gleefully sinister pluck and reaffirms your suspicions. Madinstance fucking did it. The first proper rip uploaded as part of Season 7 introduced the year with a fucking bomb. I will Never be a Redneck.

And look, I've covered some One-Winged Angel rips on here already, One Winged PSYcho - V.S. Sepsyrop and Hen'yoku no Piraman - the latter even being made by Madinstance as well - but I feel like it needs to be stressed how thoroughly deranged this rip in particular is. We ALL know Cotton-Eye Joe, if not the original American country song then ABSOLUTELY the world-famous 1994 Eurodance version - one that, funny enough, was recorded by a Swedish band. Indeeds, its oddly befitting: A culture clash between my homeland, and the nation where a majority of SiIvaGunner's own audience and contributors live - the result is that ALL of us knew well what Cotton-Eye Joe was, a piece of our childhoods for some, or at least for me. Yet its prevalence on SiIvaGunner had been comparatively tame in comparison to that popularity, only appearing in some modest mashups and melodyswaps in Season 1 - seven whole years before Madinstance deployed the nuclear option. Realizing that this overplayed icon of a song even had the ability to be remixed in such a fashion positively blew my mind - I won't sugarcoat it, I will Never be a Redneck completely floored me.

And like, in some ways its to be expected, right? Madinstance is incredible, he continues to show up on here with rips like Initial Deluxe (I've Just Raced on this Course Before) and Fell From a High Place (Reprise) for a reason - his prowess for these large-scale projects feels like it shouldn't even be humanly possible. I remarked back in Hen'yoku no Piraman just how much the recent trend of One Winged Angel rips impresses me, how each one feels as if the ripper is truly showcasing their worth whilst dedicating it all to the glory of a single meme. That still stands, yes, but to apply it to a song that otherwise had near-no prevalence on SiIvaGunner, no standard set for how remixing it ought to go: To have my FIRST ever time hearing Cotton-Eye Joe pitch shifted be in this absolute behemoth feels downright criminal. And its even crazier how it WORKS the whole way through.

The amount of touches present to make this feel as cohesive as it does is staggering. The chorus' titular line of "Cotton-Eye Joe" replaces the use of "Sephiroth!" in the base track perfectly, the original song's violin instrumental breaks between the chorus and verses are pitch shifted into the ominous tone of One Winged Angel's equivalent instrumental breaks, the banjo going off the shits in the longer break from the main melody midway through the track...really, its incredible how much of the original track's excitement and danceable fun suddenly sound so ominous, with changes so deliberate, substantial yet conservative enough to not lose the Cotton-Eye Joe feel - this ALWAYS sounds like the right amount of both tracks in balance. I love how the song's chanting "Hey-hey-hey-heyys" suddenly sound akin to One Winged Angel's latin choir song, how the vocals of the chorus repeat in a somewhat staggered, haunting way near the rip's end - like Beautiful Dreamer or My Dr. Eggman Can't Be This Evil!, its remarkable just how drastic the change of tone becomes through rips like this.

Most of all though, it is that gradual realization of what you're listening to that has made I will Never be a Redneck such a classic for me - NOBODY could've anticipated it based on the channel's past history, and nobody would've expected THIS would be the way that Season 7 would officially "start". Yet its the kind of rip you can send to anyone - both songs are immediately recognizable, and the effort put in to making the two work in tandem is unmistakably impressive. uwustepanne, who wrote in to request this be covered, included a short anecdote with her write-in, about how this rip showing up in her YouTube feed was what made her realize the channel hadn't ended with Season 6's finale, that I will Never be a Redneck in a way represents everything she loves about the channel, the impact its had on her. And yeah - isn't it crazy how a rip as cracked as this one, still wound up facing incredibly stiff competition for rip of the Season?? 2023 was one of SiIvaGunner's greatest-ever years, and seeing a rip like I will Never be a Redneck uploaded at its very start felt almost like they'd set the bar far too high for the rest of the team. Yet somehow, someway, everyone else was up to the challenge and continued making absolutely incredible rips throughout the entire year. Madinstance continues to raise the bar of quality on the channel at almost every turn, and having him do it at the Season's very start - with a rip as out-of-this-world as I will Never be a Redneck to boot - remains as an absolute power move.

SET THREE - ROUND TWO - MATCH FOUR

“Cat in Obsolete Bath” (? - Theodor Seuss Geisel) / “Salvator Mundi (Savior of the World)” (c.1499-1510/2006-07 - Leonardo da Vinci)

CAT IN OBSOLETE BATH: This painting (and a lot of Seuss's darker artwork) give me the feeling that I can only describe as "a child learning that adults/their heroes are human beings". We are so accustomed to seeing him as an icon of children's books/art, that when we see these darker reflections of his mind (often using similar characters and creatures as his children's work) that makes me realize that this man is a human being that has gone through periods of despair. In this painting in particular, the background elicits emotions of emerging darkness. The titular cat having its top half hidden with its legs and tail looking so pathetic on the bottom, the water drops possibly being tears. What is he doing hidden away? Just bathing? Or crying. The wonkyness of the shower drain contributes as well. (princeoftheroses)

SALVATOR MUNDI: When I look at the scuffed up and damaged wooden panel, while I see the image of Christ gazing at me through five hundered years, I also see the Object and all the ways in which it seems to drive people to a sort of rational delirium. 500+ years ago, some guy attempted to convey the idea of Jesus as sacrifice and world saviour - the core of Christian theology - by use of paint and brushes, into a single picture for a single customer. It survived wars and revolutions and reformations and while I know the image and the story of the object intimately, I have never actually seen it and I probably never will, it is paint on a wooden panel and it is quite likely to outlive me by centuries. There was a very drunk Yoongi sitting on the stool of his own kitchen. All of the lights were turned off, his face was only illuminated by the bright screen of his phone.

He rested his chin on the mouth of the bottle of beer he was drinking, scrolling through his phone on instagram, hoping to find another welding video made by a fifty year old that could distract him for the rest of the night.

Yoongi had never been too into social media, he was close to being thirty and was barely interested in that stuff. The only reason he had an instagram account was because his manager told him so, he said that it was a great way to promote his music, (which Yoongi thought it was logical) interact with his fans (which Yoongi agreed) and to stay relevant (which Yoongi thought it was bullshit).

His instagram feed consisted mostly of pictures of his studio, selfies of himself that you helped him choose and maybe a few pictures of Holly, but nothing else. He barely used it, he was not interested until three weeks ago when you left his apartment. Now he watched all of your friend’s stories, hoping to see you in one of them. You know, modern age love.

That night Jungkook’s icon shined bright on his screen, indicating that he had posted a story. He waited a few seconds to open it in case he just posted it, he remembered you told him that it was weird to watch someone’s story if they posted it seconds ago, Yoongi didn’t understand why. People posted for people to see, right? Why would it be weird? Apparently, no one agreed with him, so he just waited.

He headed to his room with his phone in his hands, keeping Jungkook’s story in sight in case he suddenly deleted it. When he couldn’t wait any longer, he laid on his bed and tapped on the icon, waiting for the story to appear.

They were two, the first one was a picture of Jungkook with Bora, his girlfriend. She was kissing him on the cheek while he smiled with his eyes closed. Jungkook posted those kinds of pictures a lot lately, it made Yoongi feel incredibly sick and jealous. He could never see himself posting photos like that with you, but he could totally see you doing it.

Before watching the next story, he closed the app and opened his gallery, curious about how your pictures together looked like in contrast to the ones that Jungkook posted.

Most of the pictures were taken by you, there was one where both of you were eating ice cream on the street and another one on his bed one morning, he was hugging your neck with his arm and you were making a duck face. He was smiling in each one of them, but he seemed… distracted?

When he scrolled down enough, he came across a private folder that he had, it was the reason he didn’t let anyone touch his phone except for you. He scoffed, thinking how strange it was that he did not have a single photo kissing you yet a whole folder with pictures of you naked.

Some of them you sent to him and some of them he took himself, there was a time where he looked at them and couldn’t decide which ones he liked more. Yes, he liked snapping pictures at you when you were in bed with him, but there was something about picturing you taking your clothes off to pose in front of the mirror wearing just black lace panties.

There was a particular video that caught him off guard, the one you both decided to record when Yoongi was about to fly to Japan and stay there for work for a whole week. Yoongi hugged his pillow and allowed himself to watch the beginning of it. He was sitting on the edge of the bed in front of the big mirror of his room, you were sitting naked on his lap, your back was pressed against his bare chest, spreading your legs for him. In the silence of his room he could hear your low moans and shaky breaths as he thrusted in and out of you, running one of his hands all over your torso to keep you in place, recording the reflection on the mirror with the other one.

In the video you threw your head back to his shoulder as he kissed your neck and played with your breast with his long fingers, he could clearly see how you were coming apart with each one of his movements. It was just the first time that you decided to do something like that, but Yoongi was quick to notice that no matter how shy you were, you liked being watched like that.

After coming back from Japan he had asked if he could keep the video, you told him that he didn’t need to ask that.

His heart clenched, he closed the video before it finished. He couldn’t remember how many times he watched it when he was away, but now it just felt bad. He found himself feeling jealous of the Yoongi on the screen, he had you all for himself but the Yoongi of the present decided to screw everything up. It was hard to see you so close to him when you were so far away.

He sighed, suddenly remembering why he was watching those pictures in the first place, Jungkook’s story. He opened the app and searched Jungkook’s profile, tapping once again on his icon.

At first, Yoongi was too drunk to see that after three weeks of stalking Jungkook, he had finally posted a picture of you, but his eyes were betraying him by making him believe that you were sitting next to a guy. Yoongi tried to focus his gaze, but he couldn’t be sure of how close he was to you.

He rubbed his eyes and when he regained consciousness enough, he could see that you were indeed next to a guy, he was tagged on the picture too. Wasting no time, he tapped on his name and started stalking his profile, it was someone he never met. Yoongi didn’t remember you ever mentioning someone called Jaehyung…or did it say Taehyung?

It was at that moment that he decided he didn’t like that guy, whoever he was. After five minutes of going through each one of his posts, he didn’t understand why you were in that picture with him. Were you hanging out with him? A devilish voice in Yoongi’s head told him that it was probably a double date, it made sense in his intoxicated mind. Jungkook was with Bora and you were with Baekhyung (Taehyung).

No, you wouldn’t accept going on a date now, you were with him (no, you were not). It cannot be possible, but the proof was right in front of him.

Then, he got out of bed, determined to do something about it. But first, he opened another beer.

HOW TO USE SMART OBJECTS ! (photopea version). . . okay so I was talking to a friend one day walking them through photoediting without opening my laptop and I found my next tutorial to be SMART OBJECTS and how to use them! This tutorial will cover what is a smart object, how to edit one, and how to make one. Credit to fleursource for the icon border template used in this tutorial AND on my icons in the indie at this time.

Let’s start with what a smart object is and by doing so, going to google the definition: A smart object is the ultimate non-destructive layer in Photoshop. So that means that you can use them in a way that won’t mess with your whole image / can easily be taken out and redo. Like how on filters you can click the little eye and it is as if that sharpening didn’t happen.

So I open up my ICON PSD (not sure if this originally had a smart object or if I did a conversion myself). Changed the labeling on the psd a bit to show you what I am looking at ( THIS IS A SMART OBJECT ) is the important layer. Under it has smart filters such as sharpening used which as long as I make my icons with the same smart object? There will be no need to sharpen every single icon layer as I go.

So above the words smart filters is an image layer with a box around it. Click that little mini box.

So this tab pops up for me. This is an UNEDITED version of my icons table. We are going to drag / drop / position a new screencap (made by me) onto this template.

Okay so this is what this looks like now. This is simple and easy can be done but say I want to increase the brightness of my image or color correct JUST this screencap but don’t want to mess with a bunch of layer masks that clip to my layer below or anything. Great, you can do that. Just edit your image as needed.

So then it looks like this edited up. I didn’t do much of anything this time around but still the picture / idea is now made. Now if you were to exit from this without saving the progress will be gone. So go to FILE > SAVE ( SMART OBJECT ).

This gif shows you what I just did. Now, I had a layer mask color adjustment layer that I had to delete on this cap hence why my image is suddenly really BRIGHT. But my coloring is there in place now and everything like that.

This is what my layer section looks like. So now that we covered how to use said doc let me show you how to quickly turn any shape into a smart object that can be edited.

So I lay down the shape that I want. Rasterize that layer by clicking right and then going to RASTERIZE. Then click left and go to CONVERT TO SMART OBJECT.

And when converted this is JUST the smart object layer that I can go ahead and edit away to fit my needs or fit into a template.

So, I mentioned I was working on a followers/anniversary/you guys are awesome etc etc. gift before I went on vacay in April and it’s finally ready! This is hopefully the start of an on going project you guys will hopefully find useful too.

I feel like the easiest way to describe what this is is unfortunately by telling a pretty long and uninteresting story so tl:dr version: i defaulted every single wedding dress deedee has released* using DressFormalTrumpet.

Explanation of how (and probably more importantly why... lol) is under the cut

So i lovelovelove dee dee’s wedding dresses and wanted to default some for my future brides. I think I’ve mentioned I hate (hate) sets bigger than 10 so thought I’d pick out my favourite 10 (very hard but I did it...) and default them using DressFormalTrumpet. I then thought maybe you guys have a different 10 fave dresses to me and soooo I grouped all of the dresses into similar styles so you guys can mix and match and have a unique selection of dresses to your taste!

This will probably make more sense when I release the downloads (which will go up tomorrow) but essentially I’ve assigned each colour of the formal trumpet swatch to a different dress style, the result being you get ten different enough dresses to suit a range of blushing brides in your game. I’ll be releasing them in batches according to style, pick one from each batch and you’ll have your unique bridal collection of sorts.

Technical bits - these are for young adult/adult, disabled for random (so you don’t get bunch of wedding guests dressed as brides...) and I gave them the celebration pack icons because it felt fitting. Each download only has the white recolour of that style, not the whole set. I’ve tested all of the dresses in body shop but not in-game (because that would have taken forever...) so please let me know if anything borky happens and of course, I will fix.

Like I said this will be an ongoing project and plan to keep doing these as Dee Dee releases dresses (she released two while I was doing this lol). I’ll also be doing other CC creators wedding dresses as well. I am happy to take suggestions, not requests on wedding dresses from other creators because I’m sure I’m prone to miss some. I probably won’t do super old dresses though like if you for some reason have a link to pro-nup sims from back in the day, I probably won’t do those dresses lol. I will also only do the white recolour just for uniformity/ ease though I will make an exception for dresses from other cultures where wearing white isn’t traditional.

I’d also like to do a similar for wedding ‘suits’ sort of thing? For female sims who don’t do dresses? I’d really appreciate some links to anything that fit in that theme too!

One laaast thing - I have done all of Dee Dee’s dresses apart from Double Rose Gown which I did here already and Ruffle Ballerina Dress which I did here.

Based on your request of character + any other themes you want, I will try making a bracelet based on it. You can include colours, if you want any special beads, if charms are okay, if you want words, ect. These do take me a bit of time since I prefer physically making them myself, and then will post photographs of them with how many beads are used alongside a pattern png.

Note that as of right now, I cannot ship out the physical versions of these and will likely cut them to re-use the beads in other kandi. If, one day, this changes- I will make it known that if you like the kandi design and do not want to make it yourself, you can buy it from me.

While a lot of the beads I have are from random packages bought from a local art store, my primary bulk source as of right now is The Beadery. I've been looking into etsy stores, but the one I liked the most didn't ship to my country :'D I only really have stars and candy right now for special beads, but I'm looking into buying more soon.

Exclusions for Pokemon Unite!

So, while I’m taking a break, I figured I’d make a quick post about something.

Since there are over 900 pokemon, with more coming out with Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet about to be released soon, the unfortunate reality is that not every pokemon can be added to the game. What I mean is that the Pokemon games will outlast Pokemon Unite, the game will end long before the series does. This may be a wake-up call for some of you, but no spin-off ever outlasts a main game (unless they become their own series like Donkey Kong Country or Yoshi’s Island).

Even if Pokemon Unite walked alongside the main games, there are more pokemon than they can put into Unite. Most people know this deep down, which is why you see social media comments on the official accounts flooded with requests for certain pokemon. Calls for Mewtwo, Luxray, Gallade, that sort of thing. They ask because the games can’t fit all of them, even though they most certainly will try. Same thing happened with Pokken Tournament. The DX version even gave us new fighters, and people really wanted DLC, but even the developers of that game knew they couldn’t fit every single pokemon in the roster, even with the pokemon Assists outnumbering the pokemon fighters.

That’s what I’m going to cover in this post. I can’t say that the pokemon I’ll discuss aren’t in consideration with the Unite devs, but rather these are pokemon I won’t be making a moveset for. If you disagree with me on any matter, please feel free to respond. I’d love to hear your critique.

Mewtwo

Easy with the pitchforks, guys. At least until you hear me out.

I have no doubt that Mewtwo would be a great addition to Pokemon Unite. A massive Speed stat, skyhigh Sp. Atk, and it’s iconic status as the first overpowered pokemon, It would be so great to play as Mewtwo.

However, I feel like that would be missing the point of Mewtwo in general. Mewtwo is supposed to be the ultimate pokemon, it’s not meant to be controlled. Even though it was in Pokken Tournament, it was still the final boss when it was in shadow form. And even afterwards, when you defeated Shadow Mewtwo, you could then play as regular Mewtwo, emphasizing the fact that it was the ultimate reward for conquering this powerful pokemon. The same characteristic just wouldn’t apply in Pokemon Unite.

Mewtwo in Pokemon Unite would work better as a Raid Boss, not unlike the Boss Rush mode that was added not too long ago. However, rather than showing up at the end, it would be the sole opponent at the start, throwing out light hits, not taking you seriously until you start gaining EXP and becoming stronger, proving yourself a threat to it. It would have to be defeated in 3 rounds, the first would be Mewtwo taking you lightly, throwing warning shots here and there, until you take it down to half HP. Afterwards, it would teleport away, sending in wild pokemon to cover its retreat. You would have to fight your way through them and then seek it out, having hidden itself somewhere on the map. Once you find it, you have to hold out until your team arrives, because if you get KOd, it’ll teleport away again. But once the team comes together, the fight starts over. On the last round, Mewtwo stops holding back, dealing insane damage frequently with hard to avoid attacks.

Now granted, in keeping with the spirit of accomplishing victory by overcoming Mewtwo, it could be a great reward to gain its Unite License afterward, or by collecting points from successful raids. Either way, I’d be more excited with Mewtwo as an ideal raid boss over an actual character, but that’s just me.

Gastrodon (East Side/West Side)

Talk about a tonal shift.

Now, Gastrodon would make a great Pokemon in Unite, as either a Supporter, Defender, or All-Rounder. I have a fondness for Gastrodon, personally, having started my competitive pokemon career in Gen 4. It could be a janitor type of pokemon, where it cleans up the passive moves left behind by the enemy, such as Venusaur’s Sludge Bomb or Crustle’s Stealth Rock.

But before any moves can be decided, the most important question has to be answered first, which form? The pink and brown Gastrodon is notably known as the Western variant, while the green and blue one is the Eastern variant. Some trainers like one form over the other, so perhaps they would have the ability to choose? Well, that’s gonna be a bit tricky. See, lorewise, Gastrodon are split between west and east because they evolved in the same region divided by a big mountain, Mt. Coronet. As such, it is part of their identity that the two forms are split depending on the position of the map, and that leads us into a difficult problem.

Teams are split into western and eastern sides of the battle map, just like this one.

You may not have noticed it, but you have had games where you are on the eastern side, not west. As such, it wouldn’t make much sense to be an eastern Gastrodon spawning on the western side of the map, huh?

Not only that, though the two pokemon are identical in every way aside from appearance, that makes a difference in Pokemon Unite. They would have to make two models for the same character, two sets of holowear for the same pokemon, the prices would be inflated, and they wouldn’t be able to justify the price since it’s functionally the same pokemon. And there’s no way you can have Gastrodon and exclude one form, that defeats the purpose of the character.

Unfortunately, this means that Gastrodon just wouldn’t be able to get into Pokemon Unite, at least, not as a playable character. Gastrodon would work as a wild pokemon, denoting the cardinal side it spawns in, but other than that, no license for you. Shucks.

Hisuian Pokemon

Now granted, this is definitely going to change when trade between Pokemon Legends: Arceus becomes possible. However, as for right now, I have to say that I cannot make a moveset for any of these pokemon.

I’m sure we’d all love to see Hisuian Zoroark or Hisuian Arcanine come to Pokemon Unite, and I would love that too. There’s just a couple of problems here and there that make that flat out impossible.

Firstly, Pokemon in Legends: Arceus do not have abilities. Except for Regigigas. Because screw ‘m. Every playable pokemon in Pokemon Unite has an ability, or a passive, if you will. That’s already the first problem. Now, you might say, but of course they do! They will have abilities later on, we even know what they’re going to be! And to that I say, Did you know abilities can be switched out between generations? Believe it or not, it happened. Zapdos once had a hidden ability in Lightning Rod, but it was unreleased. When it was finally accessible in a different generation, it became Static instead. this also happened to Chandelure. It’s hidden ability was Shadow Tag, you know, the ability that made Wobbuffet and Mega Gengar Uber? It was also unreleased, and then changed to Infiltrator in the following generation, so the world would never know of the terror it could’ve unleashed.

My point is, the same thing can happen here as well, which is actually a good thing, because many of these regional forms have the same ability as their counterparts. A change in their abilities would be welcomed, but that means we can’t speculate the pokemon for Pokemon Unite with what we have for now.

Speaking of which, a lot of the moves in Legends: Arceus are...functionally different from the main games. Status effects and boosts wear off over time, hazards are replaced with passive damage effects, stats have been fused together in battle calculations, it’s all weird and off putting. We don’t even know how these moves would work in the main games, let alone Pokemon Unite.

Take Hisuian Lilligant for example.

It gained a signature move called Victory Dance, which boosts its Attack, Defense, and the power of its moves for a short time. Now, that’s great and all...but what would it do as a move in the main games? Does it give one stage boosts? 2? How much PP? Is it like Focus Energy? We can’t exactly translate that to Pokemon Unite if we don’t know how it will work in the main games. Not to mention, as I’ve stated before, the abilities can be changed between generations, and it’s possible these moves will be changed when they are transferred.

And yes, moves have changed between generations. Knock Off used to be a weak move that was only meant to disarm the opponent of their item, now it’s an overpowered Dark type move that punishes you for playing optimally (I really don’t like that move).

With all that said, I’ve opted to wait until the pokemon database is updated with the Hisuian Pokemon and their abilities and moves. As for who would be my first pick? Probably Sneasler. A safe pick that allows Weavile to come in later.

Mega Pokemon

I know you miss Mega Evolutions. We all do. If Mega Evolutions hadn’t been dropped in Sword and Shield, we would definitely see them in Pokemon Unite.

However, that does bring up an important dilemma. Would Mega Evolutions be fair in Pokemon Unite? In the game at the moment, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Lucario, Gardevoir, Slowbro, Absol, Gengar, Garchomp, and the soon to be released Scizor are all capable of Mega Evolution, or, at least they were. That’s 10 out of the 42 playable pokemon in the game (counting Mew and Dodrio that have yet to be released).

My point here is, would it be fair for these pokemon to be stronger when the other 32 pokemon can’t Mega Evolve? See, in Pokken Tournament DX, the pokemon that could Mega Evolve will do so when entering Burst Mode. But for the other pokemon, they gain a similar power boost that puts them on par with these evolutions. Here, the other pokemon have no such recourse, so if one of these pokemon went Mega, they would be overpowered. No matter how you balance it, these pokemon would be unable to break through the power level Mega Evolution grants them.

Speaking of balance, if Mega Evolution made the pokemon stronger, then it’s just a simple matter of making the base form weaker to compensate, right? Well, no, that won’t work. In Pokken Tournament and the main games, Mega Evolution operates under the rules that every pokemon is on an even playing field, whether they’re all Level 100, or their stats are shifted around to fit an archetype. That doesn’t happen in Pokemon Unite. If you gain enough EXP early on, you will gain access to your Unite Move. What if that pokemon could Mega Evolve instead? It would widen the EXP gap even further, making comebacks nearly impossible. Any attempt at balancing Mega Evolution would either do too much or too little, so it’s probably for the best that Mega Evolution be omitted altogether.

Most Legendaries

Saved for last, it seems like a given that certain legendary pokemon are...

...way too big. This is nothing like the whole Ridley for Smash debacle, whereas the only compromise they could come up with was to shrink Ridley a bit, and even then, have him crouch constantly to keep him in size.

In Pokemon Unite, there are two ways to put Legendary Pokemon in. If they’re small enough, we can make a spot for them. If they are too big, then they become wild pokemon that act as bosses meant to be overcome. Even some of the small time legendaries get relegated to boss positions, such as Zapdos and Articuno.

That said, there are some exceptions, apparently.

In the new Theia Sky Ruins map, the 5 elemental golems are going to appear as wild pokemon that can be defeated to gain boosts or experience. Now, certainly, each one would make for a fun Pokemon Unite character to play as, but I suppose it makes sense to have these guys pose as guardians of the ruins.

Split evolutions

More specifically, pokemon that can have two possible evolutions in one playable character, not at all how Eevee and its evolutions are being impemented in the games. If the pokemon can become a different species entirely, that’ll just complicate things like, who is the Unite License for?

Like, I thought about making a Bellossom/Vileplume set, but when I tried this with Wormadam in a previous post, I nearly crashed and burned trying to finish that post. I’m proud of what I’ve put out, but I can’t do it again. It especially won’t work for a pokemon whose evolution you can’t control.

However, Scizor is coming out soon, and it’s possible to not evolve and remain a Scyther for the whole battle. That’s a different case.

Unown

There is an Unown rune for each letter of the alphabet including the ? mark and ! mark. They only know one move and, believe it or not, it got removed in Sword and Shield, effectively removing Unown’s status as a pokemon entirely. F in the chat for this little guy.

Bonus points if you use Unown F.

#1 - mun . reynard, he / they, transmasc , 25. i am from france so english is not my first language and i may not share the same timezone. activity will depend on a day to day basis. discord is available for mutuals on request !

#2 - content . primary verse is based off rottmnt for the most part, with influence from other iterations as well as headcanons. there will be aus / verses such as the last ronin.

content warning applies for any verse. there will be themes such as body horror, violence, blood, angst, mental illness and disorders, difficult childhood. not everything will be tagged but if you need anything specific to be, do come to me so i can tag it ! i use the following format: " cwname // ".

as for posting style, i use small icons, a small font, bold, italics and colors. trying to keep it to a middle-ground, however i can change it up for our interactions if you have troubles with any.

regarding other's posts, i don't care whether you use icons or not, nor about fancy formatting. just keep it readable, aka cut your texts, and don't use overly whacky fonts. i'm not big on purple prose, either.

#3 - following & interacting . crossovers with dc / marvel, other iterations of the turtles as well as any modern verse muse will be welcome ! duplicates are a-okay with me, i just don't follow these first. ocs are fine too, provided you have at least a basic bio. i am mildly selective in my following, keeping to blogs i wanna see on my dash and / or interact with.

i will interact with mutuals only ! as long as we follow each others, feel free to send in memes, unprompted asks or starters or anything, really.

personal blogs can follow, but will be blocked if interacting with any posts. it just messes things up.

#4 - shipping . i am open to shipping. and that includes all sorts of dynamics ! love to explore a bunch of these. i am fine with pre-established stuff too, provided we discuss it beforehand. though, it must fit into the other present rules.

romantic ships are not off the table. however i'll only romantically ship mikey with muses into his age range ( and again, that don't go against other rules ) and will stay selective about it.

any ships require chemistry foremost. including betweens muns, as i would much rather be able to discuss things out !

#5 - no-nos . anything in this section is not up to debate. nor will i feel the need to justify myself.

no suggestive content or lemon. michelangelo is a teen so don't get weird ! absolutely no incest / tcest.

no tolerance for drama, and i'd rather stay away from callout posts unless they serve more than petty purposes.

no bigotry, queerphobia, racism, or any sort of hate or what have you. general etiquette and common sense applies: don't be a douche.

#6 - mains & exclusives . well, i don't actually deal in exclusives. i am down to interact with multiple version of a single muse, though they'll be independent from each others. on the other hand, i may consider affiliates later down the road.

mains are a thing. it needs to be discussed first ! once we are mains, you basically allow me to break into your inbox anytime, tag you, post unprompted interactions, yell about our muses in dms. and vice versa.
