There's nothing going on that I'm aware of.

Yes, absolutely I'm concerned, and I find those things repugnant. But the council let him into Redwood, and we've all agreed to cooperate with their decisions.

And call me naive, but I don't think a person has a shot in hell at bettering themselves when the entire community acts like they're the devil in blue jeans. I don't know that I'll ever understand him breaking others like he was broke. I don't know if he'll try to redeem himself, or if he'd even want to. But I can bet this is all he'll ever be if nobody gives him a chance to be more.
