Abigail-

She’s already there.

deadass I’d be surprised if she didn’t already help you everyday, even if you barely knew each other her ass would be over there having a great time. If you asked for help she’d do ANYTHING she could to help, she loves working on the farm with you (though she’d much rather be in the mines).

Leah-

“Yeah I gotchu”

Much like Abigail, she will NOT hesitate to help. I don’t think she’d be over there all the time without you asking her to, she has her own things to do, but she also sincerely enjoys helping you on the farm, and she’s REALLY good at it.

Haily-

“wtf did you just say to me?”

“can u help on the farm?”

“oh. No.”

Thats about it. Maybe if you’re dating you’ll get her out there, (for about 15 minutes), but she complains the whole time. Eventually she makes her way back inside and feels kinda bad, so she’ll wind up helping around inside your house while you’re working in the field. Maybe she’ll clean up, make you a nice meal, just something to make up for her inability to work in a field.

Maru-

I 100% headcanon she also SUCKS at farming. She’s an absolute genius, and is good at farming in theory, but actually doing farmwork? She tries so hard but just can’t get it. Poor baby tell her she did a good job before going back to redo her work lmfao.

Emily-

Confession: I fucking hate Emily so take this with a grain of salt lmfao

I think she’d be pretty decent in the farm, out of everyone she’d actually be the most normal and average. She’s no farmer, but she doesn’t complain and she gets shit done. If you’re not overly attached to any of the other bachelorettes you’d be a FOOL to go to anyone other than Emily, simply because she doesn’t invite herself but still does a good job.

Penny-

Poor girl does NOT know what she’s doing, but she is good at following instructions. She is not able to figure any of this farming stuff out on her own, but tell her how to do it and she’ll do EXACTLY what you said. I headcanon that she doesn’t really understand sarcasm, so you gotta be specific with her.

Comeback - How would the sdv bachelors react if you disappeared for a few months?

Yeah yeah I know, my blogs been dead for literally a year i’m SORRY i never said i was stable lmfao. Anyways, here’s my apology return post, the premise is pretty much just the farmer had a little breakdown and ran away for a bit to god knows where, leaving behind the people who cared for them, and then the reactions when they came back

Alex

- : o

- mans flabbergasted

- You left an athlete. No matter your size, this man straight up pulls you off the ground and into the air, squeezing the life out of you.

- Once the initial shock wore off, he was in tears. After some consoling he admitted he felt like he did when his parents left all over again. He thought he’d never see you again.

- He admits he spent a lot of time in the fields around you farm, they proved to be good space to work out in. An added benefit to spending time in a place that reminded him of you

Elliot

- You skipped the shocked stage with him, he launched STRAIGHT to the waterworks.

- He’s a blubbering mess, trying his hardest to show you all the poetry he wrote about you in your absence, though it was hard to read considering it was still wet with his tears.

- He was by far the most dramatic, especially at first, but once he calmed down he refused to leave your side. He was clinging to your arm like a child.

Harvey

- I like to imagine you walked into his clinic in the middle of working, and he thought you were his patient for the day.

- “Oh, sorry, I wasn’t expecting you till-... Farmer?”

- He’s trying so hard to keep it together.

- He acts casual, like you leaving didn’t hurt him that much.

- “Welcome back. Should I even bother asking where you went?” Dad mode is ON and he is SALTY.

- Sort of a mix between Alex and Elliot. He is instantly upset, but eventually says it reminded him of the times his dad is deported.

- He had asked EVERYONE if they knew where you went, and finding out no one knew crushed him to his core. He missed you, and he wasn’t afraid to admit it.

- But then, like Harvey, he gets a little salty. How could you do that to him? He gets over it much quicker though.

Sebastian

- This man is FUCKED UP

- You had been convincing him to leave his house more, be more open, maybe socialize a bit.

- You were his rock, his support through all the scary life things.

- Then he was alone.

- He sees you and immediately looks away. He can’t even look at you after what you did. But, oh god, he misses you so much. But he won’t cave, so he continues to miss you even from so close.

- It takes him days, maybe even weeks, before he’ll even talk to you. No matter how often you show up to his basement, he won’t open the door.

- He finally lets you in a little again, but it takes even longer to get him to open up again.

Shane

- Like Sebastian, but instead of having a basement to retreat to he has a beer can to empty.

- He doesn’t even want to feel the sadness, so he doesn’t, masking his feelings with a cold one.

- Again, like Sebastian, he doesn’t want anything to do with you at first when you come back.

- However, unlike Sebastian, he warms back up quicker.

- When you go to explain to him that you simply couldn’t handle life anymore for a bit he gets it. He’s easier on you than anyone else. He gets it so much it hurts.

- He asks you if you ever feel like that again you come to him inside of running away. He missed you so much, but he understands.

Towns reaction to initial cheating (Highlights)

Sam was disappointed in his friend. He thought you were cool! And you were so good to him. He couldn't have picked a better s/o for his friend. He stops talking to Seb as much, wouldn't talk to him at all if it weren't for the band. Doesn't consider him a friend anymore.

Abigail is also disappointed, but she gets it. She's lighter on Seb than Sam is.

He refuses to tell his family, so they don't even know, but they're so curious, especially Robin.

Rasmodious is PISSED. He noticed your behavior was off when you were bringing him some mushrooms he had requested, and had pulled the story out of you. He mumbled something about needing to protect those young girls in town from someone like him before sending you off. You noticed from here on he requested more random things from you, and when you'd deliver them he'd ask you how you are and would give you advice.

It was rough getting back into how things were before. You didn't enjoy farm life as much without Sebastian there. It just wasn't the same around town without him.

You had isolated yourself after he left. Sebastian wasn't close with many people in town, but Robin was. She was the local carpenter, and he was her son. Instead of hanging around town, you stayed at the farm, fearing judgement from the townsfolk.

Sebastian was living both at home and with his new partner. He could never get over the guilt of what he did to you, but damn could this new girl make him feel things he never thought he could, at least, she could in bed. Day to day life was different with her. She never woke him up with breakfast, coffee, or even a good morning.

As time went on, he found himself missing those moments more than he enjoyed great sex. He realized that's all she could do for him. He realized he had fucked up. She would never give him the little moments to cherish.

While things took a turn for the worse for Sebastian after the breakup, you had finally started to recover. It wasn't long after the breakup that you and Sam started to get closer. He reminded you of Sebastian in some ways, but he was so different in so many others.

You two got close, and you had the idea that he wanted to take it further than just friends, but you couldn't see yourself with someone so soon, and he seemed to respect that even without you needing to say it.

Sebastian eventually stopped spending so much time in the city. He broke things off with his new partner, learning from his previous mistakes, and started dwelling in the basement at Robins even more so than he used to.

The next major catastrophe happened when the band went to perform in front of Gus's. You had been avoiding their little gigs, not wanting to see Sebastian, but Sam had begged you to come. He performed little mini gigs at the farm for you by himself, but he couldn't be a one-man-band, they were still a band no matter the tension between members.

So you watched them perform. It was nice, Sebastian wouldn't even make eye contact with you but you didn't know if you could hold it if he did. No, the thing that made this a disaster was Robin. She has to know why you two broke up, no one would tell her anything!

The performance reaches it's end, and the band members start packing up their equipment to go. Despite this, Robin still stands in front of you, trying to decipher everything by any means possible.

She doesn't take the news well. She's so upset, and that's when Sebastian and Sam appear. Robin turns to scold her son for his actions, you don't do that to a person! He still can't make eye contact with you, but he can with Sam, especially after Sam pipes up, agreeing with Robin that his actions were nasty.

The two boys bicker until Abigail shows up to yell at them both. You notice the wizard also seems to be watching, though he's a bit further away. He had also helped you through your funk when Sebastian cheated, though in a different way from Sam. He offered you advice, and you took it. It sometimes felt like your grandfather was still around when the wizard was there, giving you the fatherly advice you need.

Abigail manages to shut them both up, and you can finally talk it out. You all agree to be civil from here on out, and Sebastian admits to realizing his mistakes, and that he missed you. Unsure if you can forgive him, you accept his apology.

Sam still seems peeved that you'd even talk to him, and tries to claim he's been here for you this whole time and Abigail shuts him up real fast.

So, farmer, it's up to you. Who would you choose?

I don't see him as the type to cheat. He's happy with you, but then again, he's not even really happy in pelican town, is he? He catches a glimpse of them one day. He had rode into town on his motorcycle, checking out the place that he hopes to one day call home. There they were, and they were perfect. He thought he was happy with you.

He thought he was happy with you, that it couldn't get better than this.

You two have totally different dreams for your future though, and he thought he could get past it.

It nagged at him nightly though.

When he saw this new person he simply couldn't get enough.

He didn't know how to break things off with you, so he grew distant and hoped you'd be the one to leave him.

He felt so much shame, what would his friends think? What would his family think? They all like you so much, but he just can't make it work with you.

He tries so hard to stay with you. Maybe if just hooks up with this new person one time he'll get over it, the newness will wear off and he'll see you were still his best option.

It doesn't work.

He still likes you, just not like that. He's not sure he ever even liked you like that.

But he doesn't want to lose you.

Eventually, after what turned out to be not just a hookup, you caught the two of them.

He had been going into town way more, and eventually you were fed up.

You paid Pam a little extra to take you to the city instead of the desert.

You spotted him standing outside of some apartment building, talking to the most attractive person you'd ever seen. Jealousy blooms in you, yet you can't seem to will your feet to move you towards them in hopes of an answer. Despite your failing feet, you get the answer you couldn't tell if you really wanted or not.

He leaned in, cupping their face with the hand that was meant to hold yours, and kissing their lips with the mouth you thought was saved for you. Your heart shatters, and he never even knew you were there.

The breakup messed a lot up. Seb goes to the city to live with them, fearing backlash from you or the people in pelican town. You avoided his friends and family, and really anyone that reminded you of him. You were a lot more closed off, but maybe it was better this way.
