Okay about Ch.254: It's always great to see Aizawa show emotion and be vulnerable and I get why people are into the trio reuniting, but...like Im not entirely sure what people are thinking is gonna happen.They and Shirakumo knew each other for 2 years, and were only exceptionally close for 1 year. Kurogiris known Shigaraki for *15*, and basically fucking raised him. Yea friendship is magic and everything but, regardless of what happens, its incredibly unlikely Kurogiri would discard whats essentially his adopted son for his highschool bff's. Especially when helping someone like Shigaraki is exactly in line with what Aizawa says about him during the flashback panels. The whole "Kurogiris gonna remember who he is and join the heroes" thing is just so confusing to me...

For clarity, I'm not saying don't hold onto that hope or that its wrong (y'all see me over here with the dabihawks crumbs right?). It's just kind of confusing that there's already some discourse over people saying Kurogiri probably won't join the heroes

I don't understand how people can say Shigaraki cannot change (like learning, as both heroes and villains at the moment struggle to understand, that the world isn't black & white) but are fully willing to accept the incredibly rushed, ooc changes with Endeavour. Tomura's circumstances were incredibly unfortunate. While that's not a justification, it is a sympathetic situation. Enji had a freaking deluxe life, well paid pro hero and a family. He CHOSE to throw that away and abuse them from greed.

MOOD. My biggest pet peeve with this fandom is when they compare Shigaraki’s growth to E slur’s “””change”””. 

Shig has made incredible progress since his characterization from the beginning of the manga. E slur went from Dick Extraordinaire, to Dick who is Somehow Framed as a Good Guy who was just Trying his Best

Takes like this are so funny to me. Getting older does come with several responsibilities, like taxes or paying for groceries, but giving up everything you love isn't one of them. Hobbies and finding joy in things don't have a set time limit, especially not one that's restricted by age. Sometimes you leave things behind, but it's not a requirement of growing up. For instance I grew out of Strawberry Shortcake a long ass time ago, but I could be 50 and still love playing video games.

Mentalities like these are in the same vein as people who think everyone immediately goes through some metamorphosis when they hit 18. Like no, sorry, I was still there in my Persona 5 tshirt, eating Chef Boyardee and watching Pokemon with Breath of the Wild on preorder. Adults don't drop everything they love the second they start "adulting. What exactly do you expect? Me to trade Saturday morning cartoons for the fucking news? So I can be more depressed???

Like I don't get it??? "let bygones be bygones" is valid for an argument that got a little nasty not literal abuse and neglect. Fuyumi and Rei "getting over it" doesn't make Natsuo the bad guy for refusing to forgive someone who tormented them all for over 2 decades. Like Fuyumi, you straight up admitted your brother thinks your dad had a direct part in the death of your sibling and that's not concerning??? As far as you know you're brother died?! Your mom ended up in an institution?! I get she's got this dream about finally having a perfect family, and it's a fair dream to have, but it's completely unreasonable to paint Natsuo as the bad guy in this. He has no reason to get over anything you guys were put through. He's also apparently the only other Todoroki that was seeing through en*eavors bullshit, and now even Shouto seems to be warming up to him. I just--if these chapters don't go anywhere meaningful I'm gonna self-implode...
