Sequel to this thing; let's see how many lines from the most recent episode of The Amazing Digital Circus I can find from Jax that remind me of Dabi (and or lines from other characters that remind me of associates of Dabi. Hope you like the sound of Fudge For One).

Dabi, seeing the League's new 'War Rig' run someone over as it pulls into a lot: Ooo, violence. I call shotgun! *Get in and honks the horn, producing the most disappointing noise you've ever heard* Oh god is that the horn? That sucks. Spinner you drive. *Pulls Spinner into the dirver's seat as he moves over.*

Dabi: Okay Spinner, when we catch up to them, I'll jump over, crawl inside, and burn them repeatedly until they're unrecognizable.

Spinner: I fell like that violates some kind of convention.

Dabi: You're violating my ears with your clapback, get driving driver.

Twice: So, Skeptic, I'm sure there's someway you could help out here. Maybe when we catch up to them we could-

Dabi: you could be assertive. like this!

Dabi grabs Skeptic and tosses him out the window an the enemy vehicle. Skeptic grabs hold of both vehicles, stretching his lanky body to its limits.

Dabi: Ah, that's perfect, just hold that pose.

Skeptic: Dabi you a**hole!

Dabi: Alright Skeptic, you just stay like that and I'll cross over.

Skeptic: Are you kidding me! *A bump in the rode cause his to lose his grip and the war rig and get flung on top of the enemy truck*

Dabi: Nice going Skeptic, now I have no bridge.

Dabi: Hey Spinner, you should ram into them.

Spinner: What?

Geten: You should not ram into them, Skeptic's still on board- *Gets shoved into the back by Dabi*

Dabi: Do it, it'll be epic!

Geten: Why are there so many knives back here!?

Dabi, quietly: Do it or I'll tell boss about the figurine thing.

Spinner, worried: Guh, hehehehe. *slowly turn the war rig to ramming position.*

Dabi, seeing spikes along the enemy vehicle: Aww, no more ramming? Guess I have to tell Shigaraki about the thing now.

Spinner, poking his head out the window: What?!

Skeptic: Guuuuuys?

Twice: Skeptic, take this! *Throws an anchor on a rope from the war rig directly over the truck Skeptic is on and off a cliff*

Dabi, after a bit of the rope going out: Hey Twice, is that rope attached to anything?

Twice: Uh, I don't know. Let me check. *Finds out it is the hard way.*

Spinner: Oh man, poor Skeptic, I hope he's alright.

Dabi: Poor Skeptic? How about poor us? We're one tanker away from getting Augustus Glooped.

AFO: I used to live in civilization proper, but I was chased out by that rotten All Might after liberating too many interesting quirks from their human hosts. Oh, they were all such fun. Sometimes, I can hear them...calling to me...

Spinner: Oh wow, that just sounds like theft & maybe murder.

AFO: Is it really theft & murder if it's fun and profitable? Answer me that.

Dabi: You make a great point.

Geten: Uh, no, bad point!

Dabi: Why don't you leave this to me before I start thinking your quirk seems cool and powerful.

Geten: Dabi!

Dabi; Well Mr. For One, You seem like an upstanding guy with real noble goals.

AFO; Oh I'm not. If you knew what I did in my free time, oh you'd be sickened.

Dabi: *clears throat* As I was saying...

Dabi: Gotta say, this is a lot more anti-climactic than I was hoping it'd be.

Twice: What were you hoping for?

Dabi: Y'know, like, one big final battle. Bloodshed. Death. Chaos! (The humiliation of my father and brother.) Whatever.

You know, for as much as I really don't like the AFO reveal of this chapter and how it looks to attack Tomura's agency; I do like how almost in the same breath it confirms just how much the things and people Tomura's been fighting for mean to him. And I need some Tomura positivity as a palate cleanser to AFO; so I think I'll join everyone in rightly gushed about his lines of being a hero for villains, because that part made me so happy.

Like, I have heard over and over until now how Tomura doesn't and never did care about the League’s causes or all this systemic stuff he yaps about, he only cares about the trauma of having killed his family with the quirk he was born with. And that's all AFO's fault probably, so once the reveal is done it'd turn out Tenko has no reason to be a villain, since as the cringelord put it, "[Tomura's] never made a single decision of [his] own".

But immediately after learning just how much he cares about being born with Decay, we also learned that his conviction is not so shallow. He truly did and does want to be a hero for the people the system doesn't support & heroes don't save; the unpopular kids, the petty crooks, the complete psychos who no one, not even Deku would give a real chance too. For as much as it messes him up to think about his past; the hatred was just drive, gas in the tank much like Bakugou's attitude or whatever anger Deku reserves for guys like Overhaul or AFO.

And it’s not even just the League either; the entirety of the PLF’s 6-figure membership came around to him, and outside of them we see this chapter a handful of other civilians rooting for him instead of Deku. Heck, even before this chapter we heard mention of people who looked to and supported the League in secret; online and such. Some will call these isolated examples, but who knows how many or how few people there are looking at him as their symbol of hope instead of Deku or Endeavor because they too are desperate for a change the heroes aren't offering.

Redestro once asked what Tomura wants to build. He responded he only wants to destroy. I believe the full truth is that he wants to clear the way to a world for them.

Despite what's claimed by AFO and readers who I feel overstate his impact on Tenko; Tomura really did care about the League, he cared about doing away with the threats to their lives & livelihoods, he wanted to be their hero and save them. Deku can reach his heart but no pretty words about holding hands could ever change that; and this core motivation never had anything to do with AFO.

(I mean, unless it was. Everything else about Tenko was caused by AFO's manipulations in service to him apparently, why not his drive to be a hero for the discarded too? God I hate the direction that reveal is going, have I mentioned that yet? Oh how I hope expectations are subverted there.)

All right, the whole bit with Hawks conspiring to fake Best Jeanist's death to prove his loyalty to the PLF...

For some reason, I have it in my head that he just sprang this on him with no absolutely no context.

Like he just showed up at his apartment as we see in the series, asks how he's been doing since Kamino and all...but then he just throws the duffel bag on the floor, points at it, and says, "All right, get in the duffel bag."

And rather than question why he needs to get in the duffel bag or why he's even being told to get into a duffel bag or how he's supposed to origami himself into said bag, Best Jeanist just stares at it for a long moment, then looks up at Hawks still pointing at it and says, "All right, but you better take care of my plants while I'm gone."

Okay, obviously that's not how it went down, but I have seen the headcanon floating around that Hawks takes up gardening post-War and now I imagine this is how the love of plants got started.
