Worrying is a waste of time.
It just messes with your mind and steals your happiness.
Worrying is a natural part of being human. We all worry about various aspects of our lives, whether it's our health, our relationships, our finances, or the state of the world around us. It's a natural response to uncertainty and potential threats, and in some cases, it can even be helpful in motivating us to take action and solve problems. However, when worrying becomes excessive and consumes our thoughts and emotions, it can be detrimental to our mental health and overall happiness.
The quote, "Worrying is a waste of time. It doesn't change anything. It just messes with your mind and steals your happiness," highlights the futility of worrying. It's a reminder that spending our precious time and energy on worrying is unproductive and ultimately does more harm than good. When we worry, we become consumed by negative thoughts and emotions, which can lead to increased stress, anxiety, and even depression. This not only affects our mental well-being but can also have a negative impact on our physical health.
Worrying is often rooted in fear and a lack of control. We worry about things that are out of our control, such as the actions of others or the future, and this can lead to a constant state of apprehension and unease. We may obsessively dwell on worst-case scenarios and become fixated on potential dangers, creating a perpetual cycle of distress and anxiety. This not only robs us of our present moment but also prevents us from fully enjoying the positive aspects of our lives.
Furthermore, worrying can hinder our ability to make rational decisions and take constructive action. When we are consumed by worry, our judgment becomes clouded, and we may struggle to think clearly and make sound choices. Instead of focusing on finding solutions to our problems, we may become paralyzed by indecision, further exacerbating our feelings of helplessness and anxiety. This can prevent us from moving forward and finding resolutions to the very things that are causing us to worry in the first place.
In addition, worrying can have a detrimental effect on our relationships and interactions with others. When we are preoccupied with our own worries, we may become withdrawn and emotionally distant, making it challenging to engage with those around us. This can lead to feelings of isolation and exacerbate our sense of unease. Moreover, constant worrying can also lead to irritability and mood swings, which can strain our relationships and create tension with those we care about.
The quote also emphasizes the idea that worrying doesn't change anything. While it's natural to want to anticipate and plan for potential challenges, excessive worrying does not alter the outcome of a situation. In fact, it often only serves to magnify our fears and anxieties, without offering any tangible solutions or relief. It's like spinning our wheels in the mud – expending energy without making any progress.
It's important to recognize that worrying is a choice, albeit a subconscious one. We have the power to redirect our thoughts and focus on more positive and productive endeavors. By acknowledging that worrying is unproductive and doesn't change anything, we can begin to take steps to break free from its grip and reclaim our happiness.
One way to combat worrying is through mindfulness and self-awareness. By practicing mindfulness, we can train ourselves to live in the present moment and let go of the anxieties that stem from anticipation of the future. This can help to reduce the intensity of our worries and allow us to approach challenges with greater clarity and calmness. Additionally, developing self-awareness can help us identify the root causes of our worries and work towards addressing and resolving them.
It's also beneficial to develop a support system and seek help when needed. Talking to family, friends, or a mental health professional can provide valuable perspective and support, helping us to gain new insights into our worries and find healthier ways of coping with them. Connecting with others can also help us feel less isolated and overwhelmed, offering a sense of comfort and validation.
Furthermore, engaging in positive and fulfilling activities can help counteract the effects of worrying. Whether it's exercise, creative pursuits, or spending time with loved ones, finding activities that bring joy and fulfillment can help shift our focus away from our worries and cultivate a more balanced and positive outlook on life.
In conclusion, the quote "Worrying is a waste of time. It doesn't change anything. It just messes with your mind and steals your happiness," serves as a powerful reminder of the futility of worrying. By recognizing that worrying is unproductive and detrimental to our mental well-being, we can take steps to break free from its grip and reclaim our happiness. By practicing mindfulness, seeking support, and engaging in positive activities, we can work towards reducing the impact of worrying and embrace a more peaceful and fulfilling way of life.

Don’t take me for granted.
Because unlike others,… I am not afraid to walk away…
"Don't take me for granted. Because unlike others... I am not afraid to walk away."
The phrase "Don't take me for granted" is a powerful declaration of independence and self-assurance. It serves as a warning that the person should not be treated as if they are disposable or unimportant. Instead, they deserve to be valued and appreciated for all that they bring to the table.
The second part of the statement, "Unlike others... I am not afraid to walk away," conveys a sense of empowerment and agency. It communicates that the person is not willing to tolerate being mistreated or taken advantage of. They are willing to stand up for themselves and prioritize their own well-being, even if it means leaving behind something or someone they once held dear.
In essence, these words are a call for respect and recognition. They demand that others acknowledge the value of the person speaking and treat them with the dignity and consideration they deserve. It serves as a reminder that everyone has their limits, and no one should be taken for granted.

Don’t JUDGE yourself by your past.
You don’t live there anymore.
The past is a tricky thing. It has the power to shape us, to haunt us, and to define us. And yet, it is also a place that we should not allow ourselves to dwell in. We are often told not to dwell on the past, to live in the present, and to look forward to the future. But somehow, it can be incredibly difficult to let go of old mistakes, past regrets, and the person we used to be.
It’s natural for us to judge ourselves based on our past. Whether it’s the mistakes we’ve made, the relationships we’ve lost, the opportunities we’ve missed, or the paths we didn’t take, it’s easy to look back and wish we had done things differently. However, constantly judging ourselves based on our past can be damaging and unhealthy. It can prevent us from moving forward, from making positive changes, and from seeing our own growth and potential.
When we look back at our past, it’s important to remember that it does not define us. We are constantly evolving, learning, and growing. Our past experiences may have shaped us, but they do not dictate our present or our future. We have the ability to change, to learn from our mistakes, and to make better choices going forward.
On a personal level, I have struggled with judging myself based on my past. There have been times when I have felt defined by my mistakes, my failures, and the person I used to be. It was difficult for me to see myself as anything other than the sum of my past experiences. I felt stuck, unable to break free from the person I was and the things I had done. It wasn’t until I realized that I didn’t have to live in my past that I was able to start making positive changes in my life.
Letting go of my past wasn’t easy. It required me to shift my perspective and to stop dwelling on the things I could not change. I had to learn to accept my past, to forgive myself, and to focus on the present moment. It was a process, and it took time and effort, but it was worth it. I began to see myself in a new light, as someone who was capable of change, growth, and self-improvement.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that just because something happened in the past doesn’t mean it has to define my future. I have the power to shape my own destiny, to learn from my mistakes, and to create a better future for myself. By letting go of my past, I was able to move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and self-confidence.
It’s also important to remember that external circumstances can change, as well. We may have done things in the past that we are not proud of, but the person we were then might not be the person we are now. Circumstances, people, and opportunities can change, and it’s unfair to judge ourselves based on who we used to be in a different context. We may have made mistakes, but we also have the power to learn, grow, and make amends.
Furthermore, we often judge ourselves more harshly than others do. While we may be quick to criticize ourselves for past mistakes, it’s important to remember that we are not defined by our worst moments. People in our lives see us as the sum of our actions, our words, and our intentions, and it’s crucial to give ourselves the same grace and understanding.
In conclusion, it’s crucial not to judge ourselves based on our past. We don’t live there anymore, and we have the power to create a new future for ourselves. Our past experiences may have shaped us, but they do not define us. By letting go of our past, forgiving ourselves, and focusing on the present moment, we can move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and self-confidence. We have the power to shape our own destinies and create a better future for ourselves. So, don’t judge yourself by your past. You don’t live there anymore.

“Never try to impress anyone.”
To succeed in Ife, you must be able to work alongside people without allowing yourself to be controlled by their moods or opinions. “Never try to Impress anyone."
In today's competitive world, success is often equated with one's ability to work effectively with others. However, it is equally important to maintain one's individuality and not be controlled by the moods or opinions of others. The quote "To succeed in life, you must be able to work alongside people without allowing yourself to be controlled by their moods or opinions. Never try to impress anyone" captures this sentiment perfectly.
To succeed in life, it is important to understand the value of collaboration and teamwork. Working alongside people from diverse backgrounds and with varying opinions can enrich the quality of work and lead to creative and innovative solutions. However, it is equally important to maintain one's own sense of identity and not be swayed by the opinions or moods of others. It is important to be true to oneself and not let the actions or reactions of others dictate one's own behavior.
Similarly, the notion of never trying to impress anyone highlights the importance of being authentic and genuine in one's interactions with others. It is easy to fall into the trap of trying to please others or seeking validation from external sources. However, true success comes from being confident in one's abilities and staying true to one's values and principles. By focusing on one's own growth and development, rather than seeking approval from others, one can achieve greater success and satisfaction in life.
Moreover, by not being controlled by the opinions and moods of others and not trying to impress anyone, one can maintain a sense of autonomy and independence. This independence allows individuals to make decisions based on their own judgment and not be swayed by the opinions of others. It also fosters a sense of self-assurance and self-reliance, which are important qualities for success in both personal and professional realms.
In conclusion, the ability to work alongside people without being controlled by their moods or opinions and not trying to impress anyone are essential for achieving success in life. It is important to value collaboration and teamwork, while also maintaining one's individuality and not be swayed by external influences. By staying true to oneself and focusing on personal growth and development, individuals can attain true success and fulfillment.

Be patient. Some things take time.
One of the most important lessons we can learn in life is that some things take time. This could apply to personal growth, building relationships, or pursuing a dream. It is easy to become discouraged when we don't see immediate results, but it's crucial to remember that meaningful progress often requires patience and perseverance.
In the realm of personal growth, it's important to understand that change doesn't happen overnight. Whether it's breaking a bad habit, learning a new skill, or overcoming a fear, progress takes time and effort. It's natural to want instant gratification, but true transformation comes from consistency and persistence. By being patient with ourselves and taking small steps towards our goals, we can make meaningful changes in our lives over time.
Similarly, building and maintaining strong relationships requires patience. Whether it's with a romantic partner, a friend, or a family member, trust and intimacy are not built overnight. It takes time to get to know someone, to build a foundation of trust, and to navigate the ups and downs that come with any relationship. By being patient and understanding that relationships evolve over time, we can cultivate meaningful connections that bring joy and support into our lives.
When it comes to pursuing a dream or a long-term goal, patience is the key to success. Whether it's a career aspiration, a creative endeavor, or a personal project, it's natural to become frustrated when progress feels slow. However, it's important to remember that most success stories are the result of years of hard work, setbacks, and perseverance. By staying patient and steadfast in our pursuit, we can bring our dreams to fruition and create a meaningful impact in our lives and the lives of others.
In conclusion, being patient is essential for personal growth, building relationships, and achieving long-term goals. While it can be challenging to wait for things to unfold, it's important to remember that some things take time. By embracing patience, we can become more resilient, compassionate, and committed to our aspirations. So, let's remind ourselves to be patient and trust in the process, knowing that our efforts will eventually lead to the fulfillment and success we seek.

Practice does not make perfect.
Perfect practice makes perfect.
The saying "practice makes perfect" is a common phrase that many people live by. However, upon closer examination, it becomes clear that simply practicing something over and over again does not guarantee perfection. Instead, the saying should be revised to "perfect practice makes perfect." This new iteration of the phrase emphasizes the importance of quality over quantity and highlights the necessity of paying attention to detail and maintaining high standards in practice.
One of the main reasons why "practice makes perfect" falls short is that repetition alone does not lead to improvement. Without conscious effort and attention to detail, repeated practice can actually reinforce bad habits and lead to stagnation rather than growth. Only by engaging in perfect practice - that is, practice that is deliberate, focused, and executed with precision - can one truly achieve perfection in their endeavors.
Another reason why "perfect practice makes perfect" is a superior philosophy is that it emphasizes the importance of intentionality and mindfulness in the pursuit of perfection. It's not enough to mindlessly go through the motions of a skill or task; instead, one must be fully present and intentional in their practice in order to truly excel. By approaching practice with a mindset of excellence and a commitment to high standards, individuals are better able to develop their skills and achieve perfection in their respective fields.
Furthermore, the idea of "perfect practice makes perfect" encourages individuals to constantly strive for improvement and to never settle for mediocrity. By holding oneself to the highest standards in practice, individuals are able to push themselves beyond their comfort zones and challenge themselves to reach new heights of excellence. This mindset of continuous improvement and a commitment to perfection is essential for anyone seeking to achieve greatness in their chosen craft.
In conclusion, while the saying "practice makes perfect" may hold some truth, it is ultimately incomplete. The true path to perfection lies in the philosophy of "perfect practice makes perfect." This mindset places emphasis on quality over quantity, intentionality over mindlessness, and continuous improvement over complacency. By adopting this approach to practice, individuals can set themselves up for success and achieve true perfection in their endeavors.

Be willing to walk alone.
Tumblr media
Many who started with you won’t finish with you.
In life, it is important to be willing to walk alone. Many who start the journey with us may not end up finishing it with us. This is a harsh reality that we need to accept and come to terms with. It is often said that the only constant in life is change, and this is especially true when it comes to the people around us.
As we go through life, we will meet countless individuals who will come into our lives and then eventually leave. Some may leave due to circumstances beyond their control, while others may choose to leave because of personal reasons. Regardless of the reason, it is important to recognize that not everyone who starts with us will be there until the end.
Being willing to walk alone means being prepared for the fact that not everyone we meet will be by our side for the entirety of our journey. It means being able to stand on our own two feet and continue moving forward, even when others may choose to go in a different direction. It requires a sense of independence and self-reliance that allows us to thrive even in the absence of others.
It is natural to feel disappointed when someone we care about chooses to leave our lives. We may question their loyalty and commitment, and we may even wonder if there was something we could have done differently to keep them by our side. However, it is important to remember that people come and go for a variety of reasons, and it is not always a reflection of our worth or value as individuals.
In addition, being willing to walk alone also means being open to the idea of forging new connections and building new relationships. Just because some may choose to leave our lives does not mean that we are destined to be alone. There are countless individuals out there who may not have been there from the beginning, but who have the potential to become valuable additions to our journey.
Ultimately, being willing to walk alone is a testament to our resilience and strength as individuals. It requires a level of confidence and self-assurance that allows us to continue moving forward, even in the absence of familiar faces. It is a reminder that our journey is our own, and that we have the ability to chart our own path, with or without the company of others.
In conclusion, it is important to be willing to walk alone. Many who start with us may not finish with us, and that is okay. Life is a journey of constant change and evolution, and it is important to recognize that not everyone who enters our lives will stay until the end. Being willing to walk alone means embracing our independence and resilience, and being open to the idea of forging new connections and building new relationships. It is a reminder that our journey is our own, and that we have the ability to thrive even in the absence of familiar faces.

Burdens!
I didn’t realise how much I was carrying until I put it all down.
Burdens are like heavy weights that we carry on our backs, unaware of the toll they take on our bodies and minds. We often go through life without realizing how much we are carrying, both physically and emotionally. It's only when we stop and take a moment to put it all down that we truly understand the weight we have been carrying. It's like a wake-up call, a sudden realization that we have been carrying unnecessary burdens that have been holding us back. These burdens can come in different forms - from past traumas and regrets to responsibilities and expectations from others. They weigh us down, making it harder for us to move forward and reach our full potential. But it's not until we consciously choose to let go of these burdens that we can truly experience the freedom and lightness that comes with unburdening ourselves.
For a long time, I didn't realize how heavy my burdens were until I reached a breaking point. It was like my body and mind couldn't take it anymore, and I was forced to put everything down. It was a difficult process, and at first, I resisted it because I was so used to carrying these burdens with me everywhere I went. But gradually, as I let go of each burden one by one, I felt a sense of relief and liberation. I could finally breathe again without feeling the weight on my chest. I could stand up straight without feeling the heaviness on my shoulders. It was a transformative experience that taught me the importance of not carrying unnecessary burdens in life.
We often convince ourselves that we need to carry these burdens because they are a part of us, but the truth is, they are not. We have the power to choose what we carry and what we let go of. It's not an easy process, and it takes time and effort, but it's worth it. When we let go of our burdens, we make room for new experiences, new opportunities, and new growth. We become lighter, both physically and emotionally, and we can move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and clarity. So, let us not wait until we reach our breaking point to put our burdens down. Let us be aware of what we are carrying and choose to unburden ourselves, for our own well-being and happiness.

When you really pay attention,…
…everything is your teacher.
Life is a constant learning experience, and the world around us is filled with valuable lessons waiting to be learned. However, many of us go through our daily lives without truly paying attention to the teachings that surround us. We are so consumed by our own thoughts and distractions that we fail to see the messages and insights that are right in front of us. But when we make a conscious effort to pay attention and be present in the moment, we realize that everything can be our teacher.
Nature, for example, is a powerful teacher. From the changing of the seasons to the intricate details of a flower, there is so much to learn from the natural world. We can learn about patience and resilience from a tree that withstands harsh weather conditions, or about impermanence from the fleeting beauty of a blooming flower. By paying attention to nature, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world we live in.
Similarly, people can also be our teachers. Every person we encounter has a unique story and perspective that we can learn from. Whether it's a family member, friend, or even a stranger, everyone has something to teach us. By paying attention to others, we can learn about empathy, compassion, and the importance of human connection.
Even our own experiences and emotions can be our teachers. When we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings, we can gain valuable insights about ourselves. We can learn from our mistakes and failures, and use them as opportunities for growth. By paying attention to our inner world, we can become more self-aware and make positive changes in our lives.
In conclusion, when we open our eyes and truly pay attention, we realize that everything and everyone around us can be our teacher. The world is constantly offering us lessons, and it is up to us to be receptive and open to learning. So let us make a conscious effort to pay attention and embrace the endless teachings that surround us.

“If we could look into each other’s hearts…
…and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.
Empathy is a powerful tool that has the ability to bridge the gap between individuals and bring them closer together. If we could truly see into each other's hearts and understand the challenges that each person faces, we would be able to connect on a deeper level. We would be able to see beyond the surface and understand the struggles, fears, and insecurities that make each person unique. With this understanding, we would treat each other with more love, patience, and tolerance. We would be more compassionate and caring towards one another, knowing that each person is fighting their own battles. Instead of judging or criticizing, we would offer a helping hand and support one another through difficult times. Empathy has the power to break down barriers and create a more understanding and accepting society. It reminds us that we are all human, with our own strengths and weaknesses, and we all deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. Let us strive to look into each other's hearts and treat each other with the gentleness, love, and care that we all deserve.

God cannot fix the mess we create.
What God will do is give us the courage to do whatever needs to be done to rectify our errors.
We often turn to God in times of trouble, seeking divine intervention to fix the messes we have created. However, it is important to understand that God cannot simply wave a magic wand and make all of our problems disappear. As human beings, we have been given free will and the ability to make our own choices. And unfortunately, sometimes those choices lead to mistakes and chaos. But that does not mean that God has abandoned us. In fact, it is during these difficult times that God is with us the most, giving us the courage and strength to face the consequences of our actions and make things right. God will not fix our messes for us, but rather, He will guide us and empower us to take responsibility and rectify our errors. It is through this process that we learn and grow, becoming better versions of ourselves. So while God may not fix our messes, He will always be by our side, encouraging and supporting us as we navigate through the consequences of our choices.

Thank God for moms
Mothers are the unsung heroes of our lives. They are the ones who selflessly give their time, energy, and love to ensure that their children are taken care of. From the moment we are born, our mothers are there to nurture us, guide us, and support us through every stage of our lives. They are our first teachers, teaching us valuable life lessons and instilling in us the values that shape us into the individuals we become. They are our constant cheerleaders, always there to celebrate our successes and comfort us in our failures. Thank God for moms, for without them, our lives would be incomplete.
Mothers are the glue that holds families together. They are the ones who make sure everyone is fed, clothed, and taken care of. They are the ones who sacrifice their own needs and wants for the sake of their children. They are the ones who work tirelessly to create a loving and nurturing home for their families. Thank God for moms, for their unconditional love and dedication to their families.
As we grow older, we begin to realize the countless sacrifices our mothers have made for us. They have put their own dreams and aspirations on hold to raise us and give us the best possible life. They have given up their careers, their personal time, and their own desires to ensure that we have everything we need. Thank God for moms, for their selflessness and unwavering love for their children.
In times of joy and in times of sorrow, our mothers are always there for us. They are our pillars of strength, offering us comfort and guidance when we need it most. They are our best friends, always ready to listen and offer advice. Thank God for moms, for their unwavering support and love.
Motherhood is a journey full of challenges, but it is also a journey filled with immeasurable joy and love. It is a journey that deserves to be celebrated and honored. So, let us take a moment to thank God for moms, for all that they do and all that they are. They are truly a blessing in our lives, and we are forever grateful for their love, guidance, and sacrifices.

Don’t expect anyone to understand your journey, especially if they’ve never walked your path.
Life is a journey that is unique to each individual. We all have our own struggles, triumphs, and experiences that shape us into the person we are today. However, it is important to remember that not everyone will understand the path we have taken. It can be frustrating and disheartening when we expect others to fully comprehend our journey, but they simply cannot because they have not walked in our shoes. It is human nature to try to empatheize and understand others, but it is also important to acknowledge that we all have our own unique perspectives and experiences. It is unfair to expect others to fully understand our journey when they have not been a part of it. Instead, we should focus on being open and honest about our experiences, and surround ourselves with those who may not fully understand, but are willing to support and listen. After all, it is our own journey and we are the only ones who truly know the depth and complexity of it.

SURE!
No matter what they do or say, I am committed.
I am committed to staying true to myself and my beliefs, no matter what others may say or do. In a world where opinions and perceptions are constantly changing, it can be easy to get swayed by the thoughts of others. But for me, being true to who I am and standing by my convictions is something that I hold dear to my heart.
It's not always easy to stay committed, especially when the pressure to conform is strong. There have been times when I've felt tempted to change my ways or beliefs to fit in with a certain group or to please someone else. However, I quickly remind myself that my commitment to being authentic and genuine is far more important than any temporary validation or acceptance.
Being committed also means being resilient in the face of adversity. I know that staying true to myself may not always be met with approval or agreement from others. But that is okay because I am not seeking their approval or validation. My commitment lies in being my most authentic self, and that is something that no external force can take away from me.
Sure, there may be moments of doubt or uncertainty, but I trust in my commitment to guide me through those times. It serves as my anchor, keeping me grounded and focused on what truly matters to me. Whether it's standing up for my beliefs or making choices that align with my values, I know that my commitment will always guide me towards the right path.
In a world where change is constant and opinions are ever-evolving, my commitment to staying true to myself remains constant. It is a constant reminder that my worth and identity are not defined by others, but by my own choices and actions. And for that, I am forever grateful and dedicated to staying committed to being the best version of myself.
