Ive been committing myself being more mindful! Today I actually took the time to show up for work as opposed to my usual “wash my face, brush my teeth, don’t even look in the mirror and go!” I have been letting my creative outfits cover the fact that I haven’t cared and haven’t been motivated to put any effort towards my facial appearance! This chapter of my life involves a lot of fun hair ties as I start the project of figuring out what to do with this hair I was born with that slightly stressed me out that did NOT come with a manual! 2 WEEKS + YouTube + My Laptop + a few fun hair ties are what was needed to complete my previous hair project! + a TON of bold lipsticks #mac #anastasia #nars #maybelline #lipsticks to cover the fact that it takes me SOO LONG to do my hair! Ultimately, what Ive realized is that I am avoiding the process because it overwhelms me and I always feel incapable of creating “the perfect look” because my hair texture is different and I feel that it sometimes limits me! This year I made the choice to love all of me and that meant getting raw and real with myself!
